I walked in. Was immediately greeted. It felt so warm and inviting. I loved it. The employees were great. No complaints at all. I got the Philly cheesesteak roll up. Complete with sauce. When I tell you that 1st bite was heavenly. The crunch was there, the flavor was there. Love the sauce. I will be back.

Ordered online. Service was good, order was ready for pickup within 10 min. Now, the food. We had the buffalo chicken, crab rangoon, s mores egrolls and their chicken loaded fries w/ yum yum sauce. The egg rolls just didn t taste right. Too much of the filling ruined it. It was just too much. The loaded fries at first tasted great especially with the yum yum sauce but the more I ate the more it started to taste bad. Seemed like it was getting a strange after taste the more you ate it. The only thing that s was really good were the SMORES. They were delicious! Well, this was our first time rolling up and sorry to say, we won t be rolling back.

Edit: not even 30 minutes after eating, i am having food poisoning symptoms. Service is good and employees are very nice. Its a cute place, but the ceiling looked like it had been leaking. Food was big portions and good overall. Personal opinion, get the yum yum on the side. Its pretty sweet. Also rice has corn in it which threw me off. Meat was delicious though!

Small location, I would recommend doing a to go or a pick up order. Fast service, and the workers seemed very nice! My partner is a fried rice connoisseur and didnt love their three meat fried rice. We also tried: -BBQ Pork/Mac and Cheese Rolls, I really liked those -Crab rangoon rolls, also very much enjoyed -Philly Cheesesteak rolls, these were good too Overall, the rolls are worth the experience. They are a good size and good flavor.

Came in for a quick bite after getting off, a coworker recommend. I was disappointed in my loaded beef fries (over cooked fries and its time to change oil color). The pork and mac egg rolls was also a miss for me because I expected more of a cheese flavor (spicy and sour) Best item purchased was the 3 meat fried rice with yum yum delicious. I also recommend waiting in your car if you dont want to smell like you fried your own food.

Food is AMAZING!!! The chicken fried rice with Yum Yum drizzle was so good, full of flavor, and very filling! The chicken was seasoned and cooked in teriyaki sauce, and the rice....the RICE was delicious and moist and everything youve ever wanted in a fried rice. The chicken egg rolls were the same, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The thing that really stood out for me in regards to the egg rolls was the thin but crispy roll itself. It was still moist on the inside and held everything together without any extra layers or thickness. The egg rolls were served with a sweet chili sauce that had the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spice. Im a wimp when it comes to spice (Im talking mild salsa only for me) and I was able to handle a tad on each bite. Absolutely floored by the quality of it all, will be back for more! Btw, between the 2 dishes, I split this with my partner and we STILL have leftovers (a full serving if one of us is reeeeally hungry, so about 1/3 or 1/4 is left). For $27 thats a steal!

I only went here because I saw a video in Facebook ads. We ordered to meet fried rice and french fry two meat orders, and both had beef and shrimp with yum yum sauce. I like French fries better. Next time, I will put the sauce on the side because it was a little bit salty. Thats it. I also prefer that you order in and pick it up since you have to wait some time to get your order if you just go to the store. Parking: The buildings in this area that doesnt have a U-turn option so you really have to park reverse and go back the same way

Staff is friendly, very comfortable atmosphere. The food is okay. I tried the chicken fried rice, chicken egg rolls, and beef fries. If the Yum Yum sauce wasnt on the rice it wouldnt have much of a flavor. The egg rolls chicken and cabbage mixture was salty, and the fries were Yum Yum sauce with a sprinkle of ground beef, nothing to get excited over. The portion sizes are good. I wish the rice had scallions and more veggies in it. If I return, I might try the veggie fried rice to see if theres a flavor difference.

The Roll Up Bar is a cute little joint with a cozy vibe. We were greeted right away when we walked in and ordered a bunch of stuff: two meat loaded fries, two meat and three meat fried rice plates, four egg rolls, pulled pork, macaroni, chicken, and I couldnt resist adding a slice of homemade red velvet cheesecake. It took about 30 minutes for our food to come out, but hey, we did order a ton. The portions were definitely not skimpy perfect for sharing. I loved the loaded fries, especially with their yummy yum yum sauce. My husband thought his three meat fried plate was alright, and the egg rolls were better with sauce. The red velvet cheesecake didnt quite hit the spot for either of us, though. Still, wed totally give The Roll Up Bar another shot, especially for dining in. Overall, its a solid spot worth checking out again.

Small place with a 15-20 minute wait for food, this wasnt a big deal as long as the food is fresh. Food was freshly made and hot even when we got home. This was our first time eating here and it will not be the last. I enjoyed everything we ordered, we had the shrimp fried rice with yum yum sauce and another with the spicy yum yum. Daughter had the pork egg roll and wife had the crab egg roll and for desert the cheese cake egg roll. All was great, least favorite was the crab egg roll. On a side note, not sure why people complain about the price. Everything is arguably expensive nowadays and this place gives you plenty of food for the money! They do offer smaller portions for less money for those who might be on budget.

Guys, I love the Roll Up dont get me wrong, however something has changed since you all moved from the food truck. The world famous Cheesesteak egg roll is different. This used to be cheesteak perfection with an egg roll twist, my guilty pleasure. Now after 2 different orders, I realized Im getting a Cheese egg-roll with a hint of steak and it wasnt a coincidence. Egg rolls are super crunchy and the sauces are tasty - love that the spicy sauce really has a kick. Everything tasted great but also could have been a bit better. I prefer my desserts to be less sweet, but I can definitely see how others would love the dessert rolls (we tried pumpkin and s mores). Chicken fried rice actually had a simple taste, yummy yum sauce was actually bland, egg rolls were very greasy and sweet and sour sauce was full of chili. Most of all they are way over priced for what you get. Very cute store and the food presentation looks really nice but there was more presentation over substance and a cost that does not match the product. I d give 0 if I could. Never tried the food because every Uber order you place with them they have somebody deliver it ON A BICYCLE! I ordered once 3.5 hours later still didn t have the food. Ordered again they gave me ANOTHER person on a bicycle even tho I wrote on the delivery orders not to have nobody on a damn bike deliver my food in 100 degree weather they did anyway. I tried to cancel it, they charge me anyway and I never got the food nor did the company refund me for food I never got. 60$ down the drain. We really loved this place when it was a food truck. Today we went inside the brick and mortar location for lunch and were extremely disappointed. A family of 4 paid over $60 for mediocre fried rice that lacked flavor and eggrolls that were greasy on the outside and had undercooked wrapper on the inside. It was miserably hot inside and the drinks from the cooler were very warm. The staff was not friendly and unfortunately, this will be our last visit to The Roll Up. I wish Id gone to McDonalds instead.

I ve been wanting to try this place since they were a truck and now that I ve finally had it, I don t know what took me so long. We got the chicken loaded fries, chicken/beef fried rice, Rangoon eggroll, pizza roll, Buffalo chicken roll, and s mores and banana pudding rolls to finish. One, we drove almost 20 mins home with the loaded fries and they were hot and CRISPY when we got home and even as I m typing this review. I don t know how you get heavily loaded fries to stay with such a nice crisp but we are impressed. Literally everything was so crispy (good crispy) it was like a ASMR video in my house. The food portions are well worth the money and then some. Everything is sooooo good, even their house made yum yum sauce and ranch. The loaded fries and banana pudding were our top two but we would get everything again. Will definitely be back and recommending to people. Thank you!!!

Ordered the loaded fries with shrimp & beef but unfortunately they ran out of beef & had to get chicken instead . Really wanted to try the taro milk tea but again they ran out of that too . The crab Rangoon egg rolls were good but too oily for me. I would definitely visit again & hope the air condition would be working .

30 minutes in store, to get 2 egg-rolls and a side of fried rice. It cost 17 dollars, and after an upsale of 6 dollars for shrimp in the rice, I got 6 tiny shrimp pieces. This is a food truck with a storefront that abuses the name artisinal food.

Omg the egg rolls are amazing and the cheese cake egg rolls are to die for. I thought I was full until my gf had me taste it and I ate the whole thing. A slice of heaven in a hand held roll. Gonna be ordering for delivery on grub hub. Customer service was spectacular bas well. French frys are tasty. Everyone should have the cheese cake egg roll before they die!

My first time eating there today. Easy to find location. The guy at the counter explained the menu to me. We got the phili cheese steak eggrolls and buffalo chicken eggrolls. Also ordered steak fried rice and shrimp fried rice. I have never had anything like this. It was delicious and we ate on site. Clean tables and overall great experience.

Ordered via Uber eats. Order says ready at 2:05, we pull up to the food truck at 2:05 and immediately handed 2 big bags of food. Everything was organized and labeled, including the various sauces. The 1st roll up I tried was the Philly cheesesteak as this is the one everyone is raving about. It did not disappoint. The 2nd one was the pizza roll up. I didnt care for that one much but if you love cheese, you will enjoy. Next up was the Buffalo chicken. This one was heat! lastly was the cream cheese Rangoon roll up. It came with the sweet & sour sauce but it tastes way better with the yum yum sauce. I had the chicken fried rice and my son ate the shrimp fried rice and it was slapping!! We finished the meal with cheesecake and banana pudding rollups. I loved both but if I had to pick one the cheesecake one was better. Overall this was a pleasant experience and I hope to see this place flourish.

If you like egg rolls this is a good place to go to get your egg roll fix on. Its not a standing building but a food trailer located in the food truck park on south fort hood street. I tried the Philly cheese steak egg rolls and fried rice for the main course and topped off the meal with cheesecake egg rolls for dessert. The fried rice was good and the Philly cheese steak egg rolls were good, but my favorite was the cheesecake egg rolls. My favorite on the menu so far. So if you need a quick bite to eat and love egg rolls give them a try, they have plenty of items to choose from on their menu. I recommend that you give them a try.

I really hate to leave bad reviews on black owned businesses but this was not a good. It s getting 2 stars simply because of the customer service by the young man that was working today. He was very polite and apologetic with the issue I had (cold in the middle). Unfortunately, that s not enough to make me want to order from here again. I got the beef and buffalo chicken (they were out of what I wanted -steak and cheese). The beef was not seasoned at all and could actually use more cabbage. On the hand, the buffalo chicken , it s definitely a no. Nothing but cream cheese and some other cheese. Where s the buffalo? Where s the chicken? Maybe less filling, definitely less cream cheese. The wrappers are not those good thick crunchy egg roll wrappers either And the rice tasted a little burnt and not very good (but edible). Price is a bit high and I couldn t even eat the egg rolls so for these reasons, I m out.

I hate to write a bad review but I am very disappointed. I spent almost 50 dollars on the philly cheese egg rolls and they were horrible. They were very dry and the meat was tough. The only thing I tasted was grease. I will never again go to a place based on good reviews ever again. Tried to treat my family to a good meal and the only thing I treated them to was some horrible food and upset stomachs.

The fried rice with chicken and yum yum sauce was delicious. I mostly eat vegetarian because I don t like the texture of meat but the chicken in this was soft and the flavor was spot on! The egg rolls were very greasy though so I don t recommend those. Will definitely come again for the fried rice though!

I ve heard such good things about their food and was excited to try but sadly I was very underwhelmed. The prices were high in my opinion. The fried rice was good, yum yum sauce was good but the chicken was gross. It had a weird flavor and some of the pieces were a gross color. Overall I wouldn t recommend because you can get the same meal that tastes way better at an hibachi place for the same price.

I use to go here for egg rolls pretty regularly. PRO: The turkey rolls are good. CONS: Items run out a lot. They rarely have all their menu items. They dont fill the sauce cups. Youll pay for extra sauce and get a half container. The dessert egg rolls are gross. Who wants lukewarm banana pudding? They doubled their prices. Im not paying $13 for egg rolls.

Ordered from here for the first time, and the crab rangoon rolls are INSANELY good. The beef ones, also fantastic. Also, the best veggie fried rice in the area. My stomach is too full to try the dessert rolls I ordered just yet, but Im confident those will also be fantastic. Could have been an off day but overall the chicken buffalo roll was horrible. Just an overload of cream cheese and whatever stuffing was put in it. Their pricing could also be posted with some transparency because the price is not worth the quality of what is served. The wait time for prepping two rolls was too long, maybe reduce the size of the roll and increase the quantity per serving that could be an option.

I had high hopes for this place - good prices, located in a food truck park, and a good variety on the menu. In the end, they forgot 2 of the pork egg rolls I ordered, but I wasn t upset about it because they were not very good. Another review said the wrappers were more like lumpia and I would agree, just not quite the quality and taste I was expecting. The only saving grace was the average-tasting fried rice. Overall, would not recommend. If you re craving egg rolls, try the ones from the sushi section at HEB instead.

First Order with this place and I was excited all the pictures I seen looked so yummy however, I was very disappointed in my food order.. My philly Egg Rolls were extremely greasy and lacking on flavor I was expecting a different wrapper for the egg roll these I have seen more on lumpia or spring rolls.. Then most of my veggies in my fried rice was burned which then made the whole plate of rice taste burnt I couldn t even eat it.. This was a waste of $25.. ( while it doesn t seem like much to some people for those who work hard for their money decide to splurge and pay people for a service that they make money on you want it to be a good experience and worth coming back to I wouldn t go back to this place or recommend it to anyone either..)

I bought philly, pepperoni and a banana pudding . They all were dry and nasty. I don t know if they use cheap cheese cause it was not melted. The worst egg rolls/ woodles I ve ever had! Banana pudding taste like it came from the little individual pudding. Horrible. The fries taste better than the egg rolls. They didn t put any effort into making them. It s not that hard to make egg rolls. It was trash!!! I will never go there again!
