My Fiancé and I absolutely love this place. We come for brunch, date nights, and bring the kiddos to play outback. The servers and bartenders are tentative as well as the manager Jason. He makes sure everything and everyone is running smoothly. Food is a 10/10!!!

My family and I attempted to eat here on 8/9/2024 as there is a fun playground on the patio. We came in at 5:30 and the restaurant was not overly full. There were several vacant seats inside. We requested to sit outside and were taken to a table. We were brought chips and salsa. We then sat for 15 minutes and no one came to the table for drink orders. I went to the front and let them know no one had come to our table yet and we wanted to order a couple of things from the happy hour menu which ends at 6. She then followed me outside to confirm which table was ours and I proceeded to wait another 5-7 with no one coming still. We packed up our things after seeing other tables who came in after us being waited on and left. Before leaving, I made sure to let the hostess know we were leaving because no one came to our table and they could open the table back up. All she said was oh sorry then carried on. We will likely not be back which is a shame since this is one of the few restaurants with a great patio and space for kids.

Service was good. Not amazing but just fine We sat at the bar, two drinks and a starter. The drinks were good. Maybe a little high on the price but still ok. The place does not smell like food. It smells very strongly of cleaning agents. The food itself was horrifically bland. The nachos came out with beans despite being asked to not have any. Floutes are literally just chicken with nothing else in there. No flavor whatsoever. And the quesadillas are nothing but fairly seasoned chicken and cheese. No vegetables, no herbs, no spices. And the guacamole was old and tasted like it had been made at least a day or two prior. We will never be back. Just like every other concept that is tried this location This is yet another abject failure.

This restaurant was pretty light for a Saturday afternoon. I would like to make some suggestions for this restaurant to go from a one star to a 4 to 5. Please get more comfortable seating, invest in your customers and they will invest in you. Also I got a pretty safe and traditional tex Mex dish chicken fajitas, advertised as lemon marinated. The chicken did not appear to be marinated at all...it was very bland, and my wifes mayan bowl with chicken was bland as well. I believe the high ratings for this restaurant is tainted by the influence of alcohol drinkers, because anyone with a trained pallet can distinguish good authentic food from rushed uncared for fast in a hurry food. We checked with a couple sitting close to us and they agreed that the food was not very impressive. Parking: Parking was fine, but if the quality of the food would improve, limited parking would be a compliment to a successful restaurant.

I ve been to the restaurant many times with a great experience, but this one was not good. A friend and I came during happy hour for drinks and we got charged the non-happy hour price for 2/4 drinks. Service is lack luster. This our first time and definitely the last time. There are just way too many choices in the area. We made reservations and the hosts couldn t figure out where to seat us. The restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived. They ended up sticking us in the back corner of the restaurant. The table was not fully cleaned and we sat for about 10 minutes before we inquired at the host stand about a server. Several minutes later we got the bartender. We were not in a bartender section by any means. It has been 35 minutes since placing our order. Haven t seen the bartender since. Maybe we will eat tonight. Restaurant is starting to pickup but definitely not busy. Food is finally here and 2 out of five people at the table didn t get all of their food or the right food. Food quality is okay, however we have been fighting flies around the table. Good luck!

Weve been here on more than one occasion. Very much enjoy, whether permitting, the outside bar. Service is typically very good although weve had a couple days where it was less than optimal. Every food item we have ever ordered, including the steak quesadillas, has been really very, very good. Food was not authentic. At the prices charged, it is insulting to be served crummy, pre-made taco shells. I dont know what the other item on my plate was; I think chicken rolled in flour tortilla and covered with white (cheese?) sauce. Was it a bad burrito or a bad enchilada? A beautiful place serving amazing Mexican food. The atmosphere is very inviting , decorative and peaceful. This restaurant has lots of spaces inside and outdoor. Their restrooms are great too. Our family of five found something for each from the menu. Food was delicious. I ordered mixed fajitas ( steak and shrimp). The shrimp was great however the steak was kind of chewy. Queso was creamy and delicious. Their salsas were amazing. We got an amazing server named Sophia. Very friendly and attentive. Other staff members were also very friendly and welcoming. We spend average $20 per person. We will surely return. BTW, this is a great place for private parties. Very nice.

It s patio weather at Lost Colony! They really do have the best patio in town, with an awesome kids play structure and patio. Parents can sip cold drinks under a shady tree while the kids have the best time playing, it s one of my favorite spots in town! Celebrated a Birthday on a saturday night...beautiful kinda eclectic tropical atmosphere...The chips and salsa with queso was my favorite part, and also the rest of the party...Drinks were good, i had blueberry margarita on the rocks and it was fair, a little sweet not much blueberry flavor. The combo i had was beef taco which was delucious and sour cream enchilada, was bland, not much flavor. The grilled chicken and steak on the trio platter was very good....the complimentary birthday cake served was really good ! I do reccommend this Restaurant.

We had a lovely lunch mid-week with a fabulous grilles salmon meal that made us return for Sunday Brunch. It was very unpleasant in every way. We were seated in the path of an open door on a cold day, then moved to another room near the constantly opening door near a large group just finishing their meal. The staff seemed very confused like they were all trainees. The food was not good and the whole time we were eating (now in an otherwise empty room) they were constantly rearranging tables and chairs all around us. So much ruckus caused our rating of 5 only 4 days ago to drop to a 2. It was really disappointing. How the kitchen could send out burnt black bacon is beyond me.

Went there for a friends b-day party of 30 people. They have the space for big groups. But waiters struggled with everyones order, was chaotic getting our food correctly. We ordered the steak fajitas... they never brought us the tortillas. Ask 5 times for them. My son had to wait 35 min for a kids cheese quesadilla, after all the orders were brought out (they give our sons to another child their who the parents had order kids tacos). After drinking my coke in 5min, next refill came with the check, 2 hours later. Anyways I could go on... but Ill leave it at that. Some people in the party like it... others not so much.

Currently eating at the bar and I can honestly say this has been the worst experience. The bartenders were not attentive and when we wanted something we had to ask halfway down the bar . They were not paying attention to us but were constantly asking the other 3 people if they needed anything UNACCEPTABLE. They would make eye contact then look away .

I came to this restaurant with my 3 year old for my birthday dinner. My food was delicious, but the chicken tenders my 3 year old ordered gave him horrible food poisoning. I ve now spent my birthday caring for a toddler who has it coming out of both ends. We won t be back.

Every single employee was so nice and seemed to really enjoy being there, our waiter Jacob was fantastic and had great recommendations on dinner and drinks. The food was great as well as the entire atmosphere of the restaurant. Even living 30 minutes away, I ve found my new favorite dinner location. Can t wait to go back!

Our office hosted our annual Christmas Party here tonight. Everything was spectacular. From the event planning with Ms. Candace M., the atmosphere, to the serving staff. Sr. Augustin, Amy and John were super attentive and courteous. The food came out hot, fresh and delicious. Zero complaints from our entire party! Highly recommend! Vegetarian options: The vegan enchiladas and the vegan Fresca bowl and salads were incredible. Dietary restrictions: So many options and the staff was very knowledgeable about what foods had what ingredients. The wait staff payed close attention to details and dietary restrictions. Parking: Plenty of parking all around the entire restaurant with minimal walking. Wheelchair accessibility: Every room has wheel chair access. Even their outdoor patios. I was impressed by this.

We enjoyed our dining experience at Lost Colony. We arrived after 3pm on a Saturday and were seated immediately. I can t remember our waitress name however she provided us with amazing service! She kept our beverages fresh and checked on us often. The establishment was clean, restroom was clean and they had a couple of photo op areas inside and outside. Since it was our first time we ordered a Guacamole to share, a taco plate and a Birria quesadilla and about 6/7 frozen margaritas. They also serve complementary chips and salsa which was good. Our food came out quickly which was to be expected since it wasn t busy and we ordered simple items. The Guacamole was freshly made to order which was good but lacked salt. My friend had a taco plate which she enjoyed. I had the Birria Quesadilla which was filled with meat and very flavorful but could ve gone without the pico they added to the top of it. Oh and the margaritas were good. They had a good amount of alcohol and were the perfect frozen consistency. Overall I would go again and try other items on their menu!

I visited the restaurant on 10/08 (Sunday night, very light rush at the restaurant) with group of friends for dinner. Was having some good time with food and drinks. Time to call for check and our server Alberto brought in our individual checks that included a 20% gratuity. Paid the check and left the place with an okay feeling as the cost of food & drink did not give justice to the taste and quality, its pretty expensive. However, I was fine with it since it is supposedly a fine dining destination. A few days later when I checked my credit card statement, I noticed that they had charged and extra $10 over and above the 20% gratuity. I tried to reach out the management asking about the additional charges and sent follow-up emails for 4 times, but never heard back from anyone. I would not be going back to this place and will advise all to pay in cash as you may get over charged if you pay using your CC.

Good quality food, decor is cool but I cant imagine how dusty it will be a year from now! Didnt really remind us of Tulum because there arent any succulents in Tulum, nor is there TexMex! But A for effort. Update 10/15/2023: 3rd visit, The first interaction I had with the hostess made my husbands skin boil. She spoke over me and had such an attitude. The girl next to her even looked at her sideways. We get to our table and order pretty quickly cause we already knew what we wanted. We ordered queso (made of Velveeta btw so I was not impressed) and we were half way done with the chips salsa and queso before our drinks finally came. Even the waitress came and asked, You havent gotten your drinks yet? The blackberry margaritas were good. The 44Farms steak was pretty fatty. The waitress asked how I wanted my salmon cooked? I have never been asked that question, usually its either baked, grilled or sashimi but I chose medium well for her sake. My husband just kept laughing. Weve decided wed rather a different restaurant next time.
