This is the best shinwari goat karahi ever hands down. Chicken Malai kabobs are good as well. Best part is all freshly made, and quantity of meat is much better comparing to other restaurants. Finished the meal with a cup of chai in the end. Zabardast!!!!

Although it is small and tucked between larger businesses, it was a delicious gem. I had a Kebob and the Shinwari Goat Karahi. The goat was stewed in a tomato and okra base. Perfectly seasoned and spicy without hiding the flavor. My goat was served with fresh naan on the side instead of rice. Great recommendation from the chef/owner, Salem! Overall, I had a lovely experience and will be back.

Very disappointed overall with this. I have a feeling most of these reviews are fake. Let me point all that went wrong. 1. We placed an order at around 9:10pm and we were told the order will be ready in 40 min. we got to the place at 9:55pm and they asked us for another 10 min. the order still wasnt ready till 10:30pm. 1 1/2 hour to get the food ready? horrible. 2. we ordered 2 chicken karahi and we got 6 pieces in each. this Karahi is $25 for a plate and we got 12 pieces total? thats it? Too much salt and very bad flavor. Prices are ridiculous and not worth it. 3. the Naan we got were like eating rubber. 4. the bbq platter was super dry and we had to trash the afghani boti because no one could even bite into it. 5. we got only 1 raita and hardly any salad with the whole serving. Very bad experience and super disappointed with their service and quality of food for the price.

I recently tried the Shinwari Karahi Chicken at Shinwari Kitchen and was a bit disappointed. The dish seemed to be nothing but a tomato ketchup base with very very few spices, resulting in a tangy taste that wasnt quite what I expected. Additionally, the chicken pieces were very hard and chewy, which further detracted from the overall experience. However, I found the Shinwari Karahi Goat to be much more flavorful in comparison. On the bright side, the Afghani Naan was quite good. Overall, while there were some highlights, the lack of depth in the chicken dish and the tough texture of the chicken made for a less satisfying experience.

Was expecting the karahi to be spicy from the color, but it was actually a bit sweet and had a thick tomatoe paste flavor. Sauce was pretty good with the naan. I m visiting from NY and my brother offered to take me to a spot with THE BEST karahi in town. Being a foodie, I was a little skeptical because I m very picky with my food. This place blew me away! RUN DONT WALK, to try this amazing food! We had chicken karahi, goat karahi, beef tikka boti and malai chicken boti. Everything was excellent including the service. This is my first time at this restaurant. I can say one of the best food I have tried. I ordered shinwari mutton karahi, beef seekh kabobs and beef boti. Their Naan were also good reminded me back home. Everything this was perfect. I would recommend this place to everyone. Definitely will be keep going back. Great job chefs

While visiting Dallas, We were surprise to find a small family Restaurant called Shinwari Kitchen, upon arrival we were greeted by a very nice young lady, We ordered Famous Goat and Chicken Shinwari Karahi, and Kabobs with delicious Afghani style Naan, Taste was out of this world, sauce and meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned, This place is a hidden Gem!! This place serves one of the best halal kebabs in Dallas, which has flavors from pak/afg. I took the 10$ platter offer, which has malai boti, beef seekh kabab, and chicken seekh kabab with rice, salad, and green/white sauce. Everything was beyond the expectation. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again to try shinwari karahi.
