The atmosphere is great for those who like it. As I get older, I simply dont care for the louder places. Our server, Andy, was spectacular. He suggested the catfish street tacos. I was simply blown away. BF had the buffalo chicken sandwich, and we shared an order of pepperoni rolls. All I can say is no complaints, and we look forward to our next meal there, preferably in Andys section.

Went to try this place for the first time. The restaurant was empty and slow on a mid-saturday. The hostess couldnt figure out where to sit only two of us. None of the waiters wanted us in their section. We were excited to try this place for the first time. However, we ended up leaving and taking ourselves to a place that actually wanted us there.

Disappointed. Went here last night for my birthday..I ordered a hamburger with jalapeños on it and it was a frozen hamburger patty from Sam s. I could ve cooked that myself at home.. service was ok. Didn t get refills on drinks til the end of the meal. Music was too loud and we were sat in the back near the kitchen where it felt like a dungeon. Food was definitely mediocre for the price we paid for it. Don t plan to return.

The bartender Jamie is amazing she actually knows the concept of making cocktails and willing listens to customers requests without giving distain looks. The waitress Bobbie is amazing omg I havent had a waitress this excellent for her job in the past 7 years. She should be promoted or given a rise. Went there for my first time. Honestly I was optimistic. We were seated quickly which was nice. It went downhill from there. My wife ordered angus steak with gravy. They then said they did not have it. She then ordered the chicken ceaser salad. Took forever to get our food. Her chicken tasted burnt and my bam burger(or whatever it was called) left a film in my mouth and messed my stomach up. Really wasn t a fan of bingo being played that gave me a headache. Will not return.

After they gave our appetizers away to another table, it still took a while for our food, by the time our appetizers showed up, it was 25 min after we were done eating the main meal. Had to request the manager twice, and the waitress disappeared because she knew we were getting upset. We bagged the rest of the food and appetizers and left. Found out we got charged for a Fanta that we never ordered or got after we were already in the car. Will never go back to that place

My friends and I was visiting in Killeen Texas and found this place on google. This place is amazing. The food is great. We love this place the servers let us take our time. And with three young kids we do need a hit of extra time to order. They are thoughtful and will bring the kids food out first if its ready before ours. If we ask for a specific booth and its open the hostess will give us that booth. Even though this is an ale house style restaurant the restaurant side is designed so that it is superate so its a good place to bring the kids. And I think even their kids meals could feed an adult if the adult isnt super hungry. So the portions are big for both adults and kids which I like because a lot of times one of them will be more hungry and theyll have extra to eat on. We have been there twice now and both times their bathrooms have been clean. Its a huge Plus for us that the silverware always looks clean and that the tables are not sticky. My husband and I are super clean people And this is the first restaurant in a while that we have been to where everything actually looks clean and feels clean Parking: They do have several handicap spots up front with wheelchair access, which I think is great. Parking lot is spacious enough. Theres parking pretty much all sides of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: I would say this place is great for date nights and for family events or just a family outing even with kids. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility is at the front of the building by the front doors

Absolutely baffled by the performance of this restaurant. This is the second and the worst time this had happened. If you order appetizers here expect your food to come with the appetizers or sometimes the appetizers after your food. On top of that the restaurant is not busy the bar is not full. Took over an hour for my appetizer the waitress didn t even write down our order and got it wrong. Missed a whole item from our order, I had to go to the bar to try and get ketchup because we weren t even checked on and then on top of that not even asked for one refill. Meanwhile after we got our food they finally took the menus from the table. This restaurant needs to be shut down and if I get the chance I will write an article to the Killeen newspaper

My last visit here I did not give a good review which was several months ago. Well, since its been a while so I decided to try again. MISTAKE!!! I ordered the Catfish plate with fries again and the kicking shrimp with sauce on the side. Friendly staff upon arrival so I decided to tip as I was paying. I was informed the cooks did not put my sauce on the side. I said that was OK. I was informed it would only take 5 minutes and they already started cooking them. Knowing the rest of the food was done I inquired if the fish and fries would be hot. During the more than 5 minute wait I kept asking if the fish and fries would be hot and each time was told yes. Food finally came. I only live 5 minutes away. It was clear when I opened the containers, fries had been sitting, were dry, and cold. The fish looked to have been cooked in used oil and taste burnt. Only thing reasonable was the shrimp, more than likely because they were just cooked. Brick and Forge use to have the best Catfish in town. Now it is no even subpar. The empty parking lot during dinner hours should have been the clear give away. But, I chose to give Brick and Forge the benefit of the doubt. Wrong answer. Called to talk to manager and after a wait, I hung up. It is extremely disappointing how this place has gone downhill from when they first opened. So disappointing!

So, we went to Brick and Forge after going to Outback Steakhouse first and being sat at a table only to watch 3 other tables be seated after us and helped while we weren t even acknowledged. It was a Friday night so definitely busy at both locations. Our waitress was great and immediately let us know she would be with us shortly. When she got to us, we explained that we appreciated her just acknowledging us even though she couldn t help us immediately. We ordered our food. My husband got the spicy shrimp tacos and I ordered the steak, medium-well. It took over 45 minutes to get our food, but we didn t complain because the waitress kept us updated and explained that my steak was taking longer to thaw than expected. When our food finally did come out, my steak was rare. I showed the waitress and she asked if they could fix it to which I initially replied no. She asked me to please let her fix it several times and I finally said ok. The manager brings my plate back out about 10 min later and the steak that was sitting undercooked for at least 10 minutes prior to them taking it back to the kitchen was replaced on the same exact plate, and my mashed potatoes came back with gravy that wasn t previously on them. The manager asked me to cut into the steak to see that it looked better. I said it did and she left the table. We asked for our check and the waitress asked if her manager had spoken to us. I told her that the manager only asked me to cut back into my steak, but nothing further. We got the bill, paid it, and I still tipped the waitress $20 because I know it wasn t her fault. But the manager needs to maybe take another class in management. I would have paid for my food either way, but there was no gesture at all to make it right with a small discount, comp, $5 gift card, nothing. Just a here s your steak that stopped cooking for at least 15 minutes and then we threw it back on the grill to darken it. Thankfully we d ordered an appetizer because I sat at my table without my food for about an hr total between the initial wait and them taking my plate back. I have a ServSafe food handler s certificate and what this restaurant did last night was not ok. Over $100 on a meal I couldn t enjoy. We likely won t be back. We had been there one other time and really enjoyed it, but busy on a Friday evening or not, management should know better.

This place came recommended from a friend since we were traveling through Killeen. We stopped in for Sunday lunch. I liked the atmosphere a lot! The two of us ordered a half order of the Sicilian nachos, the chicken cordon bleu rolls, and an individual Big Italy to share. The nachos were so unique and delicious. The rolls were served with hollandaise sauce, which I thought was interesting, and was perfect. Loved it. The pizza was also very good. Our server, Joseph, did an incredible job. He was friendly, personality, and attentive. Best service I ve had in awhile. Finally, great prices!! We will be back in the area as we saw other menu items we would like to try in the future. I m definitely hoping to make it to their brunch one day.

Very disappointing meal with my family. Asked for beer/drink menu, never got it. Appetizers took awhile to show up, 1 of the kids meals (out of 4) came out 10 minutes after the others. 1 burger came out 20 minutes after the rest of the meal. Server was inattentive, barely bothered with an excuse for the long wait times, just didnt care. Food was ok, nothing terrible, nothing great.

I was a bit disappointed with my first visit to the restaurant in Killeen. I ordered chicken fried chicken and my granddaughter ordered chicken tenters. We both could not complete are meal due to the chicken being over cooked to the point of tasting burned. The waiter did not seem to care and hardly ever came to the table. Seeing so many empty tables and the bar being the main focus of business. Also reading reviews, made it clear this is a usual occurrence and most likely will never improve. After paying $75 + and still leaving hungry, I found it disappointing. Not a good experience and don t think we will be back.

Long day of travel and just wanted a beer and some fish. Fish was fine but no respect for the delivery customer. No tarter sauce, no hot sauce, no plastic ware, no napkin, no salt and pepper, no G.A.S. Fish was fine. Maybe just eat there and don t count on them to do the right thing when you re sitting in a hotel room.

The food is good. The service is really slow for drinks. I have been a few times and every time I sit with an empty glass for 30 minutes or so. The food takes a long time, which is acceptable if you have a beer to pass the time. Otherwise, youre just sitting there with your party, and everyones dry. The atmosphere is great, they have enough TVs. The food is agreeable. Expecting an hour of your time for a meal and 2 drinks gives me a lowered star. Also, you may have to physically touch the waiter to get an order... Its terrible. I hate having to assert myself to pay for something someone wants at the table. Unfortunately, sometimes they avoid eye contact and ignor you. It makes for a poor service.

Kicking shrimp tasted old. Fries plain, burger plain, chicken tenders for kid over cooked. Wing sauce decent. Current rating was 4 stars average. Does not hold up to that standard.

Wonderful find! Cole was our awesome sever for our first but not last visit. The salmon with a bourbon glaze was amazing. My wife really enjoyed her boneless wings with the Garlic Parmesan sauce. We both agreed the mozzarella sticks were the best we ve ever had, and we have had a lot! And of course the top-notch friendly service by Cole.

Wow, was a rough night tonight. Out of all the times I ve been there this night was the most important for me and they ruined it. The first drink we ordered had a small roach at the top of it. Right after that, the strawberry daiquiri my wife ordered came with whipped cream on it!? Sent it back for a new one and that one had zero strawberry flavor, but tasted more like a colada?? In spite of all of those flaws we stuck it out until we received our steak. It was literally RAW, not medium-rare, and definitely not medium-well like we ordered. Thankfully the manager was there to save the day! She got the steak cooked up to the proper temp and even though we still had issues with the cook of the broccoli (NOT COOKED AT ALL) she got us a replacement order of mac n cheese. I ll be honest, I ve been here many times without any issues but this time today with my family traveling out of town to be here was a DISASTER. Probably won t be back tbh Unbelievable

Very nice place to go out and eat 10/10 first time eating here we sat down and was greeted by everyone had people check on us and ordered our food didn t even take long to be served our food and when we did the portions was OUTSTANDING I got the chicken fried chicken which was the best I ve ever had the Mac and cheese was delicious and the mashed potatoes was the best I ve had I will definitely recommend this place if your passing by or live near. Delivery Service was great and they ordered the correct food, however extremely disappointed with the food. Big Forge burger was on soggy Texas Toast instead of the bun, onions rings were soggy and barely there, minimal pork present, and most importantly it was missing the signature BBQ sauce! Catfish plate fish was Catfish strips instead of filets, was salty, and obviously cooked in old grease and fish fry. Only subpar food was the fries. I routinely order here; last night changed my mind about ordering again. Disappointing!!

I just got to Texas and came here with no expectations. My server was Mike and I asked him what he recommended. He was super friendly and gave great recommendations. He had me mix the Lemon Pepper with Buffalo for my wings and they were SO GOOD! My burger was delicious too as well as my beers. I will definitely be making this one of my local spots. Mike did an outstanding job as my server and was working several other tables as well.

This rating is not for the food but the customer service and online ordering. We ordered two pizzas but with one instruction each. On my pizza no bacon for the Chicken & Spinach and extra red sauce for the Carnivore. The online confirmation stated it would be ready at 12:55pm. We arrived at the restaurant on time and the chicken pizza had bacon. They gave us the messed up pizza and had to remake the pizza. Meanwhile the Carnivore pizza became cold after waiting 32 minutes for them to make another individual pizza! The restaurant was not even busy! We arrived at Brick and Forge right when they opened and was pleasantly greeted and seated. Hannah was our server and she was attentive and sweet. She provided recommendations about both menus offered so we went with them and was not disappointed! My husband had the wake and bacon sandwich from the brunch menu and he absolutely loved it. I had the catfish tacos and it was the best thing I have had in a long time. We really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back.

There was no host in front at 11:50 when we arrived. We got seated by a wonderful waiter named Mike Sayles, who was just arriving at work. Very few people for lunchtime, but that was awesome. Mike was also our waiter and was very pleasant, accommodating, and we received excellent service at our table. The food was great, beer cold, and I had my to go order with little wait time. We had the kickin shrimp tacos and the spinach avocado salad - delicious. The avocado ranch dip was really good.

Poor customer service. Food was great but overall experience was lacking. I waited 20 minutes after ordering for my waiter to tell me he Input the wrong food and asked if I wanted that instead I said no I wanted what I ordered then proceeded to wait another 15 minutes for my food (a chicken bacon ranch quesadilla) a total of 35 minutes I waited. In that time I was not offered a soda or chips, I wasnt even offered a 10% discount on my meal. The atmosphere wasnt inviting, the women were chit chatting at the front and seemed annoyed. It wasnt even busy. 3/10 for customer service.
