I tried calling to place a order the phone rang all the way thru the 1st time i called again because my man wanted there fish it rang 3 times they answered my call and Immediately hung up i wanted to be sure that had happened so i called again same thing then i told my dude if they dont answer this time im leaving a review but this time went straight to voice mail. If u want to be lazy and not take orders dont go to work.

Hands down our new favorite place. Food takes a little while but is always exactly how I ordered it. The cashier is very nice. The layout with the bathroom behind the register area is weird but doesnt hinder me from going there. My husband loves Gyro and my kids and I love their lemon pepper fries.

The catfish was so good. It s way better than Long John Silvers fish. Regardless. I even drove way to Cooperas Cove looking for some fish and I could have literally just went here 1st. If you want some really good fish, I definitely recommend this place because it s perfectly seasoned ( just an opinion). They give you really big pieces also.

Cashier with glasses was very impatient,rushing on my first visit!! She bagged my food and walked away...I didnt even know if it was mine or someone elses food, didnt know if my order was complete ..very unprofessional,my meal came with a drink she had me looking for fountain didnt know what and where my drink was,food had rocks and rocks of salt on it she put my cake in same bag as hot food!! Overall bad experience for my first time..and the price ..just bought food for me sandwich,fries w/cheese,drink, apiece cake $23.00

It wasnt like the Chicago Area, I had the chicken wings and they had the nerves too put old chicken underneath the three good wings and the ones underneath was small and hard and dry! Well I went back because I feel some people need two chances so Ive gave them two, it was not good and it was very pricey for six wings and Carmel cake that wasnt good at all! I will not be going back until I make it back home! Very disappointed!

The food for the most part is really good. Now the customer service today which is what im basing this review on is trash. Understanding that the person who s conducting the customer service isn t the one who cooked the food. Unfortunately the person taking the order is the representative of that company and if something is wrong ( cooks fault or company) your job is to fix the issue or try to find a resolution of some sort. The fix shouldn t be a nasty indirect attitude or Nonchalant response that indicates that you re not the manager and come back when someone s can fix it. Taylor would not even let me get out what the issue was. Once she realized that I m trying to get her to at least let me finish my sentence she started doing other task that was clearly more important. Now regardless of the issue that isn t how you do people. $70.42 is what I spent for the incorrect order. I did not want free food, simply just to pay for what I received and get the difference back. Everyone isn t try to get over. If your easily annoyed by trying to fix or correct problems, customer service shouldn t be the field you apply or work in to avoid things like this Hopefully this doesn t deter anyone from ordering inside the business establishment but be mindful that if your order is wrong more than likely to say the least expect this from Sharks. Ps. I did try to handle this yesterday and was told A manager would call me back, nothing happen.

This was my first time eating at this restaurant. I ordered the catfish and wings with fries. OMG! The catfish was sooo moist and seasoned perfectly. The wings were not tough or overcooked. They were seasoned great! The fries were a little soggy but it wasnt enough for me not to eat them. I was thoroughly satisfied with my food, and will be back to try other items. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Catfish was amazing!!!!! Nice big pieces and amazing. I m disappointed about the fried okra though and that s half the meal that wasn t edible. Okra was mushy and way over seasoned , couldn t taste the okra only tasted salt. So I took this from a 4 star to a 2 star since my husband and I only ate 1 piece of catfish out of the 3 pieces and we both have food poisoning now ..tasted good but definitely not being cooked properly or stored properly.

Omg.. so this is my new FAVORITE PLACE ESPECIALLY FOR COMFORT FOOD! HAD THE EGG ROLLS PHILLY STEAK 10, FRIED GIZZARDS 10, FRIED LIVER 10, THE CATFISH SANDWICH 12, AND THE VOODOO FRIES 12.. I recently had a highly disappointing experience at Big Shark Killeen, which has prompted me to write this review. Upon arriving, I placed my order and patiently waited for over 40 minutes. During this time, I noticed other customers who had ordered after me receiving their food promptly. Concerned, I approached the cashier to inquire about my order. To my dismay, she admitted she had forgotten to inform the kitchen to prepare my food. At this point, two other customers, who had been waiting for an hour, also expressed their frustration and opted for refunds. The cashier then informed me that it would take an additional 30 minutes to prepare my order. Given the excessive wait time and my now urgent schedule, I requested a refund. In an astonishing twist, the cashier claimed that the card system was down and she couldnt process the refund. This felt like a blatant lie, adding insult to injury. I had to step outside to call my manager, who had paid for the meal, to explain the situation and why I was going to be late returning from lunch. This entire experience was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. It s unacceptable for a restaurant to operate with such poor coordination and dishonesty. I strongly advise potential patrons to reconsider dining at Big Shark Killeen unless they significantly improve their customer service and operational efficiency.

I do food delivery. I was advised this is a family restaurant by the very nice young man, Usef, who usually helps me. He is very kind, attentive, professional and easy-going. His friendly and laid-back, positive attitude makes one feel welcome. Ive seen him take good care of the customers and their orders. He is a perfect representative of the establishment.

I have ate in & ordered DoorDash. Both times the food was hot and fresh. My most recent order was fried fish dinner. I had been craving some for a while but coming from Louisiana it really has to hit & I am pleased to say that the cook applied big pressure with the preparation of my order. The lemon pepper sprinkle sprinkle just sets the meal on . I would highly recommend this establishment.

My husband and I wanted to try something different. It was worth it. I ordered the chicken Philly cheese sandwich it was delicious. The customer service is on point. The atmosphere is chill. And best of all they have family meals that feed 6 or more and everything is affordable. The only thing its lacking is a beer lol. I went for the first time today and got the chicken Philly sandwich with fries, gizzards and fried okra and everything was absolutely delicious! I got the famous calypso lemonade I always hear about and guess what it was ? IT WAS DELICIOUS! They top most of the sides with Chicago lemon pepper and I haven t had anything like it. Absolutely delicious. The thing I liked most about Big Sharks was the welcoming atmosphere. The girl at the front knew about the all the food items. The man who brought us our food had such an amazing attitude. So attentive, asked if we needed anything and couldn t stop thanking us for coming in. This is an amazing establishment and I will be coming back.

Had this delivered and it was great. If you are a native Chicagoan, it will hit home, especially the pizza puff. I had the chicken wings, a pizza puff and a Philly cheese steak egg roll. The Philly cheese steak egg roll wasnt nasty, but it wasnt as flavorful as I expected. I ordered the mild sauce with the wings, and it was certified Chicago flavor. The pizza puff was just as good as any southside corner restaurant (ilTaco, if you know you know ). Overall, I was extremely satisfied, and will be returning to hit a couple of the other Chitown menu items... Im hoping the Italian beef is as good as I remember (havent had one in over 5 years).

Ordered a 4 PC chicken wing combo, Philly cheese steak and Italian beef dip. Took over 30 minutes to get my order and I was the only person in line. The chicken and fries were fine. Ordered a 3pc fried catfish combo with a side of mac n cheese, a 2pc fried tilapia combo also with mac, and a double cheeseburger combo with fries (comes with your choice of 2 canned sodas or a water). My total was about ~$41 It took a good 35 minute wait or so for me to get my order which is understandable as there were people ahead of me and everything did definitely come out fresh. Now the fish is where this place shines, no fishy odor and a nice crisp with some lightly seasoned breading, very satisfying and tasty. The burger was also great, a tad greasy but overall flavorful and with a fair helping of meat. The fries were lackluster, not especially crispy despite the wait which was surprising and they also coat everything (I mean everything) with a light dusting of parmesan cheese. Not bad but didnt exactly elevate them either. Now for the worst of the food, the mac and cheese.... I dont know WHAT is going on but the mac and cheese is really more like a mac salad with a sort-of cheesy sauce thats more peppery and tangy than cheesy. Im sorry if this is what yall like but I thought it was pretty nasty, I would NOT RECOMMEND the mac and cheese. My final negative would be that the cashier didnt explain that everything would be parmesan dusted until I got my food (different cashier than the one I ordered from) and they DO NOT have tartar sauce for the fish which I can respect but I wish I would have known ahead of time. All in all, I would come back and get the fish or possibly even a burger again, just stay away from the mac!

My food was so overcooked, the chicken wings were tough and hard to even pull apart or rip the skin off. The lemon pepper seasoning is very good and the fish is questionable due to them marketi8ng it as catfish fillets but its definitely not catfish. They could be a lot better and for them just opening up they have a lot to work on. When the food is cooked correctly , it is very good. They are going to need to implement some type of ticketing system with these orders because both times I went they forgot a lot of items and the wait times are ungodly. I wish them the best of luck in working out all the kinks.

Ordered burger with pickle fries and fish and fries plate. Burger had no lettuce tomatoes or pickles on it when all I asked for was NO ONIONS. Did not get my pickles fries that I paid extra for. My wife and I ordered through delivery and the service was very slow. We waited for about an hour until we received our food. My wifes order was correct but her hush puppies were barely cooked in the middle. My order was disgusting. I asked for fried pickles and got ketchup covered french fries. The spicy chicken sandwich wasnt spicy at all. The wings and catfish nuggets came with a secret sauce and we didnt get any dipping sauce that we ordered. The only thing that was good was the fried shrimp and catfish fillet.

Food was delicious. Took an hour for two sandwiches to be made. Hope the establishment comes up with a better way to manage time and processing food orders. Recommendation when packed with orders letting people know of estimate time of when orders will be done just so people are not frustrated waiting as long as I did. The only reason why I gave this establishment a 4 star rating was because there was an upset customer whose food came out cold, she mentioned she waited an hour for food to be made, her complaint was not handled properly. The employee who was taking orders upfront started yelling profanity at upset customer and was not trying to deescalate the situation. Otherwise I will be coming back again. Chill vibe beside the upset customer.
