I was really nervous seeing Dr. Vyas as Ive never seen a pain specialist before. I have a history of back problems with pain that flares every once in a while due to scoliosis and the surgery I had several years to correct it. I really try to refrain from asking doctors about something for pain, because nowadays, most just think your seeking pain meds and that is all you want. Anyhow, over the past 6 mos my neck and shoulders have been really hurting me. I was extremely hesitant but my wife urged me to see a pain specialist. He and his staff were extremely polite and had a good table side manner. Dr. Vyas took the time to go over my MRI and explain what was going on, offered immediate solutions for temporary relief, and suggested a nerve block to see if that will cure my pain. He is a younger doctor, very knowledgeable and intently listens to what you say. I dont write many reviews, however, I am very impressed with his office and am very hopeful for the future. If for some reason the nerve block doesnt work, I know he will find a solution that does.

Best experience with Dr. Vyas and his PA. The staff are great, they communicate with you and basically get things done. My husband is 33yrs old and had a pretty severe slipped disc. He has not had a surgery yet in his years and we want to keep it that way. Dr. Vyas literally gave my husband his life back. He has 1 more (hopefully) injection and he should be 100%. This slipped disc literally took my husbands life away and caused so much pain all the time. Im a nurse and help people for a living and I couldnt help him which was hard. But Dr.Vyas is fixing him up and on the same page with not doing surgery unless absolutely necessary. Hands down a great person and great office. I love that they want to fix the problem and not mask it with medicine. I love that he understands that medicine is only temporary and he wants to fix you. 100% recommend.

The injections I received were more painful than my open heart surgery. I screamed like a little girl! They activated my neuropathy lightening bolts in my foot that caused additional anguish on the way home! Otherwise a pleasant experience!: Next morning update! I left a 5 * review because I understand the pain is just part of procedure. Anyway today, the pain the procedure was performed to reduce ,has started doing its job. I am already mobile without severe pain. Thank you.

Updating to say that once I finally saw the doctor, she was very pleasant and helpful. ______________________ My appointment was at 10:15 am. I was brought to a room at 10:40 am. The nurse said the doctor will be right in. At 11:15, I spoke to the nurse and stated that I may need to reschedule because I have been waiting an hour. It is 11:26 am and no one has come in yet. I was on time. I need them to value my time.

My Chiropractor referred me to Dr Jay Vjas. I have two bulging discs in my neck and I made an appointment with him and am glad I did. The staff is very nice and Dr Vjas made me feel very comfortable. I have had the worst experience so far. Im in immense pain, have been for months. Read all of these wonderful reviews and decided I d bite the bullet and self pay for these services since I have an insurance nightmare going on. I ve literally been trying to speak to someone to make an appointment for weeks. Initially I was speaking with a lady who seemed to be here local and in that office. I ve NEVER been able to get a hold of her again. I ve placed several callas and left several messages and when I did finally get a hold of someone it seemed to be a gentleman in some outsourced call center. The pain made me not even care. I told him the situation (again since I d already explained to the First Lady), he collected my personal data as if he was prepared to make me an appointment and then told me that since he s gotten my info, it would need to be added to the database and then someone would call me back to schedule! Nearly a week later I finally get a call while im literally in a teams meeting and this person just begins speaking without even inquiring as to whether or not it was a good time. Again, this person seemed to be in some call center in lands far away! It s been at least a month since I ve started trying to see Dr Vyas and still NOTHING! If it s this hard to get a new patient appt, I can only imagine what trying to get follow up looks like. English speaking lady here in the office in burleson, Texas: Can you please CALL ME??? Dr Vyas is a genuine, caring pain specialist, who treats each patient for their individual concerns. Ive been in constant, extreme pain for 13 years...and within weeks of my first Appt, I had days/hours of maybe a pain level 1 (at max). The Ketamine treatment is expensive, but very effective! His staff is fantastic & gets to know patients. They are wonderful! Dr Vyas office is worth a visit if your current pain specialist isnt making a difference in your daily life! Thank-You so much to all the people who continue to ease my pain levels...making it possible for me to stand for 2+ minutes, do a little housework, & other things that I havent been able to manage for 13+ years. I would like to say I really liked Dr Vyos he had some great options for me and my pain it is just unfortunate that his office was taff isnt always as nice. They charged me a Co-payment I was not supposed to be charged. (Even though I had verified all this prior to coming that I hadno co pay and all was good) The refused to see me if I didnt pay them the $37.50 so I had to pay it under duress or go home in pain. That was literally months and months ago and even though they know they over charged me now and acknowledged it to myself and my insurance company monthes ago and after over 25 calls to the office over the months they Still have not refunded my money. I am a senior and live on a very limited income and need every dime I have. I had to borrow the $37.50 that day even. I would not recommend this unprofessional office. They also refuse to give me the last name of the office manager and state she has no direct line to reach her and refuse to let the Dr know about this situation..(thatI have called 25 times). How can you take money that isnt yours and refuse to give it back? The girl that answers the phone named Lori is so pompous and rude its just pathetic to treat people the way she does.

I started seeing Dr Vyas in April I couldn t of asked for a nicer doctor he s so thorough and personable.he takes his time and makes sure you understand everything he s telling you. My first visit was an awful experience and I let the lady know at the front desk that people come there already feeling bad and to be treated disrespectfully by a staff member is unacceptable. I let them know how the medical assistant didn t even speak to me and when I answered her questions she would interrupt me. After the visit with the dr I got a call and she told me umm you ll have to leave the room because we need it for someone else. I thought that was very rude especially after I waited two hours to be seen when I arrived to my appointment an hour ahead of time. I ended up calling in three different occasions before my second appointment where I was getting injections to let the dr know that the medicine he prescribed wasn t helping and no one would call me back. Yesterday I went in for my injections and was told my insurance was inactive and that I would have to pay 276.00 plus 70.00 for my copay from last visit and this visit. I went outside and called my insurance and was told that it s active and that they must of ran it wrong so I let the office know what they said. I was told that their benefit team is checking into it. I called them once I got home to see if they had checked into it so I can get my procedure done and they still hadn t. I called today and was told the same thing and was told whenever they hear from them they ll call me. It s been an awful experience from day one. I don t know if they just treat certain people of a certain hue this way or not but his workers are making me jump ship. In response to Dr Jay .you don t seem to know what s going on in your office. I did ask if there was an office manager and was told no and to this day I still have the same active insurance so your workers blatantly lied.

This office is a joke. After having 2 injections, it was determined a third would be required. I spoke with the doctor about scheduling on 7/5/22. At this point he stated that he was not going to be @ Baylor that week, therefore it was scheduled for 7/12/22. I called the hospital on 7/11/22 and was notified I was not on the schedule. At this point, I called the Dr. Office and was told the doctor wasnt going to be at Baylor again, even though the procedure was scheduled directly with him. I To add insult to injury, I have had 4 strokes, and was not supposed to take my medication for a week prior. Not only did they reschedule my injection without notifying me, but allowed me to continue without medication. Finally, after comparing flexible spending charges against my insurance explanation of benefits of the 5 or 6 times that I was seen in the office, I was overcharged all but one. Avoid this place unless you have time and money to burn.

So I was in a really bad car accident about 9 years ago and what Im starting to experience is a lot of pain due to this now. Different issues that span from my neck, to my hand, to my knee, to my legs. Ive been to several doctors about these issues individually and I never really got anywhere. No medicine to help with the pain, no real ideas moving forward to help reduce the amount of wear and tear that Im doing on my body. Very stressful times. After the first visit with Dr. Vyas and his office, I had plan of attacks for not just one but multiple issues I was experiencing. I have a surgery soon to help fix my knee that I had seen at least 3 doctors previously and never could iron out the issue, one referral from Dr. Vyas and I now understand what was happening to me and where the issue spanned from. Nobody wants to have to have surgery, but knowing what is wrong and what can be done to fix it is a huge relief. Another referral from Dr. Vyas recently put me in touch with a neurosurgeon to help relieve neck pain as well as strength loss in my hand due to nerve connectivity issues. Both of the referring doctors that Dr. Vyas put me in touch with are people people. They talk to you like youre a human being with the goal of fixing you and helping you live a better life and Dr. Vyas and his office also helps with that as well. I cant thank them enough for all the effort that not only Dr. Vyas but his staff who is SUPER friendly are putting forth to bettering peoples lives, one appointment at a time. I would refer this office to anybody if theyre looking for friendly people to help!

Doc has the best bedside manner. He really cares about his patients. Recently I had the 1st round of injections in my back, in which he told me Id experience some soreness, and need ice packs after. I think soreness was an understatement, although I have underlying conditions that could have helped caused me to be hypersensitive to the procedure. I told him Id like to kick him in his shin to show him soreness and we laughed together. Him thanking me for NOT kicking him in the shin. I do feel like he took what I said to heart and will remember that when dealing with someone with as many conditions as I have. But I 100% recommend him. Dr. Vyas helped my lower back in October with an injection and it lasted a long time taking away a lot of pain. He can treat the area as well as refer to quality therapy to go along with his work that can keep me from having another operation like I had a cookie years ago in my neck. He s helping me let surgery be a last resort. I highly recommend Dr. Vyas. Great staff as well.

What a blessing Dr Vyas has been. He spent time listening to my troubles, and made a plan to successfully manage my sciatic pain due to to spine issues and previous surgery. I went into the office with no expectations and very little hope of help. I was very surprised when he actually found something that made my pain manageable. Fantastic experience all around..

Dr. Vyas is very compassionate and is trying to help with getting my pain under control. He listens to my concerns and never seems like he doesn t have time and needs to rush to the next patient. He s one of the few doctors that give you the feeling he really cares about you and will try everything possible to relieve your pain. I feel like I can trust in his care!

Dr Vyas has given my life back. For over four years I was in excruciating pain anytime when standing. Couldn t stand to even cook for my family. I have been to other doctors, had shots in my back done multiple times, and have spent so much money. After 2 years of having given up, I decided to try the process again. Dr Vyas listened to me. He explained well why I was hurting, and what he could do to help. He also had the procedure done on himself in school so he knew exactly how it felt and what to expect. This was a 3 procedure process and even when my Insurance put up road blocks he fought for me. I can now cook, walk and I am not in pain. I still can t believe I am saying this! I am freed from the pain that affected every aspect of my life. I owe this dr so much, for giving my life back to me, my family and my fur babies! The office is wonderful, I love the atmosphere. Alma is always on point and is a sweetheart! Thank you Dr. Vyas and staff.

Dr Jay is the best pain doctor I have seen. He cares about you as a person. He listened to me and we were able to get my pain under control. He has great bed side manner. I first meet Dr Jay in Waco where he use to be. When he moved to Burleson I followed him to Burleson. It is a hour and a half drive for me but when you find a great Dr like Dr Jay you will do what you got to do. If you are having problem with pain go to see Dr Jay at interventions pain and spine and he will get you taken care of.

Dr. Jay Vyas and his office have gone above and beyond in the care of my mother in law. Dr. Vyas was so kind and patient in explaining the procedures to us and the options that are possible. My mother in law was in such terrible pain and could not tolerate strong pain meds and Ayesha at the front desk tirelessly worked with insurance to get a pain patch. I am forever grateful to them. Dr Vyas is amazing! I ve had spine and chronic pain issues for over 10 years and have seen multiple specialists. It wasn t until I was treated by Dr. Vyas that I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel. He is very professional, informative, prompt and has performed 3 surgeries on me that have been effective in my treatment plan. His staff is very kind, supportive and accommodating.
