There are not many places in town with mole, much less good mole. We go to Adobe for good drinks, good queso, and delicious chicken mole enchiladas. The servers are always friendly and helpful. The building is older, so there are some ramps and shifts in floor levels in interesting places, so walk slow so as not to trip and don t have too much to drink

Adobe Cafe in New Braunfels is a gem! The Tex-Mex food is absolutely amazing full of authentic flavors and generous portions. We tried the enchiladas and fajita Cobb salad and both were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. What really made our experience stand out was the service. Kayla, our server, was fantastic! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. If you re looking for delicious Tex-Mex with top-notch service, Adobe Cafe is the place to be! We have dined here many many times. More recently we have had some not so great experiences. Last night I made the comment to my husband that it was the best the food has been in a very long time. Everything was hot and fresh and our server Olivia was great. Even tho she was busy she took the time to converse with us as if we actually mattered. Yesterday was a really bad day for us and we just needed a break from life for a bit and she helped to make our day better without even knowing. She was attentive to our drinks and our meal was out super quick. All around the experience was a 15 out of 10!!! Great Job!!!!

Authentic Tex Mex food that is always good! Salsa is good with just a little kick. Chips have a bit of salt. We got the taco plate (great taco meat, with a bit of grease-so good), Number 6 enchilada plate with cheese (great to mix the rice and beans and add a little salsa), Number 1 mixed plate, (chalupa has to be eaten quickly or it gets soggy) and the Chicken Flauta plate (chicken was dry but if you dip it in the salsa it really helps). Sopapillas are only okay. We do choose to eat here every time we come in to town. Multiple times if we can. Its a great place to eat after a day at Schlitterbahn! There is also really good fresh tea. Especially good after a day in the sun!

I usually like this restaurant. Not the best I have ever had, but usually pretty good. Last night however, my meal was not good. I had a small meal, 1 enchilada, 1 beef taco, and guac. I ordered a chicken enchilada with Verde sauce. It was the worst enchilada I had ever had. Besides being really small, the chicken was mushy and unflavored, the sauce was almost nonexistent, and absorbed into the tortilla. Instead of any cheese on it, it had corn ( not sure why), and it was luke-warm at best. I like my Mexican food hot! The taco shell wasnt crisp, the meat had no flavor. It had a tiny scoop of guacamole. We were celebrating a friends birthday, so I didnt say anything. Any other time, I would have sent it back. The service however was excellent. Our waitress did a great job.

There was a greeter to open the door for us. The restaurant was clean and we saw the tables, etc. being cleaned when people left. We were seated quickly as it was before 5pm when we arrived. We had our family together for my wifes and I Wedding Anniversary. Our party was 11 people. Split into 4 checks. Took us a while to get our table. Savannah W was our waitress. You could tell that she was overwhelmed with too much too take care of and I dont think she has been with Adobe for too long of a time. Took our drink orders and wouldnt hear about appetizers or any other requests till the drinks were served. Long story short, she tried and really made up for the slowness from the start. The beef and chicken fajita meat was very good. Queso had the perfect viscosity not runny but not too thick it had a tasty buttery flavor to it. The house margarita on the rocks had an interestingly unique taste....but I would say one of the best drinks Ive ever had. This place was just right for getting good food and drinks .with a nice casual atmosphere. I would give it a very solid 8 out of 10.

Our server, Jason P., was excellent. He let us know the food may be delay because the kitchen was backed-up but we received our food timely. Jason was prompt in asking us if we needed anything else. He was very attentive. An asset to your restaurant.

he consistently friendly service especially when things are super busy each time, every time is amazing which is why my wife and I come to Adobe Cafe a lot. Jacob P, our most recent server, was so accommodating and friendly, and you train your staff so well. Oh, and the food you serve... is consistently awesome. Thanks for allowing me to brag on yall.
