Great location and loved the room. Ice machines were broken on third floor. Laundry room was closed on third floor. The sauna was not working. We had to take our own trash out and the room was never cleaned while we were there. We had to go to the front desk to get clean towels. Really is a nice hotel and a really great location. Just really disappointed in the room service and amenities not working.

Eight members of my family stayed here for a few days enjoyed it. The kids loved the pool and the adults loved the hot tub. The fitness center was pretty good for a three star hotel. We were close to the Lions Club park and some excellent Mexican restaurants. The hotel staff were very helpful and even helped us set up a family potluck dinner in the small dining area beyond the lobby. About 20 family and friends attended. The rooms were a bit dated and the carpet was dirty. Overall, it was a good experience. Id stay here again.

It was horrible! We came to visit family so we stayed at this hotel. First of all, we had no towels. When we went to the front desk she said we re taking their last towels. So basically, if you have no towels and they re out, you re screwed. The worse part was someone came knocking on everyone s door at 5 am for no reason. We didn t wanna check the door as we were a room full of females. But that was scary. Tried to call the front desk afterwards, and no answer. It s rundown and horrible. Avoid if possible.

The people who run the place are wonderful and professional. My stay was during a slam of fema, guests from a tornado that hit belton. Everything ran short. Towels washing supplies. There were dogs barking and trash bins filling up but they kept their cool. Even though I was just a regular guest ... everything went well. They went put of their way to make me and my guest feel welcome

I booked a room with two queen beds. I received a room with one queen bed and a fold out couch. I walked down to the front desk to ask for linens for the full couch since there were none in the room. She said someone would bring them up. They never brought them up. There was no hot water in the shower. The hallways were not air-conditioned and they smelled like body odor, weed, and Fabuloso there seem to be several very unsavory characters in the parking lot at any given time. One of them actually came up and smelled me as I left the restaurant because he liked my perfume. The restaurant was hot and sweaty. The service was terrible. It took at least 15-20 minutes for us to get our drinks and we had to ask several times for the waters that we asked for. The nachos were soggy and the beer was slightly cooler than lukewarm. Several of the electric outlets did not work. The carpet in the hallways was so loose and had so many BIG wrinkles it is definitely a tripping hazard for an elderly or handicap person. This used to be our host hotel for conventions since it s the closest hotel to the convention center. I m glad my association is not having our conventions in Killeen anymore. The convention center is great, but this hotel ruins it. I still don t know why I paid for two queen beds and received a queen bed and a fold out couch. Everybody knows full out couches are the worst.

First time, was one thing didnt work, now the gym doesnt work, not the pool, and even worse the elevator doesnt work. Everytime I come, I feel I spend more money but the worse this hotel gets. I come to enjoy myself and get what I need done but each time the less each staff member cares and the less the hotel works to make itself better. This place is a mess.

My wife and I checkes in today. We were told the front desk would have to check if rooms were available and that there was a room with a kitchen that was ready, which we didnt need. We were informed the room was actually marked dirty, in the system. Apparently we found out it was clean after waiting for them to sort it out for 15 minutes. More affordable rooms were available that were suggested to us only due to the room being dirty. Rooms: The tv looks like its from 1997. AC unit is dirty and doesnt have knobs on it to adjust settings. Other than that the room looks clean and is comfortable. Noteworthy details: The elevators were out of service, and so was rhe sauna. The pool and the hot tub were open, but there was so much chlorine in them, that it was uncomfortable to enjoy. There was also plenty of dead flies were in the hot tub.

I visit Killeen once or twice a year and always stay at the Shiloh for the amenties such as having a full kitchen to cook and the indoor pool but after this stay I will not stay at the shiloh. Internet not working, Pool area disgusting, sauna rooms out of order, no towels, outside hot tub green and out of order. My room that was suppose to have a fully equipped kitchen no pots or pans had to go out and by own. Every laundry room for guest to use dryers broke except one on the 1st floor. You give housekeeping your dirty towels no one brings you fresh ones like promised. Ask front desk for toilet paper they have nothing or no access to get you any. Had to go out and buy toilet paper. TV is the ancient old box tv. Carpet in hallways serious trip hazards. Out of date furnishings. Really disappointed how this hotel has went down. Even after all my complaints nothing was done. I never asked for any thing that was not suppose to be provided and waited patiently for them to just realize I had to go out and purchase the things myself.

I used to stay at Shiloh Inn all the time when I lived in Killeen because it was such a nice clean hotel. We have since moved but we drove through Killeen in July 2023 and of course decided to stay here for the night. The best metaphor I can give is that it used to feel like a Hilton and now it feels like a Knights Inn. The room was dirty, the restaurant was closed, the front desk area was blocked off, they no longer serve breakfast, and the TV in the room was an old box TV. I would definitely choose another hotel next time I drive through Killeen. Im not sure why this hotel went downhill. But its sad because it used to be my favorite hotel in Killeen.

We were there for a family party, and paid to stay there ahead of time 4 days and 3 nights. This place is horrible, while checking in was easy the rooms were disgusting. I asked to be moved the first time because the first room smelled like mildew due to a a visible leakage outside the room. The second room we stayed at had a roach in the cabinet! We were moved again, the pool was dirty, the outdoor pool was not filled and gross. The entire hotel has an old smell to it. We had dinner at the restaurant inside the hotel, the food was okay. However the staff is so unprofessional, a fight almost broke out between a staff member and a customer. We went to a movie came back and our keys weren t working, the hotel front desk assumed we checked out and disconnected access. The leaky ceiling issue continued through our stay. Housekeeping did not throw away the trash, and there s a sign that reads to place towels outside your door to receive clean towel; didn t happen I had to ask for towels. Oh while we had dinner we requested alcohol beverages which were completely out. My brother in law asked for a jack an coke: the server realized the coke for the drink was just water, she suggested he cover his now and just drink it. I will never again visit this place, do not spend your money here. Opt for a different place please. I was even more disappointed when they didn t even bother to compensate me at all. I ll come back to Killeen Texas but will not stay at this horrific establishment.

When tragedy struck my family, The Shilo Inn, was there for us. Everyone on staff was so incredibly friendly and provided service with kindness and a smile. My father came into town to help us out during this hard time and he also stayed at the Shilo Inn. At the end of his stay he told me that the Assistant General Manager, Andrea, provided such great service that he will forever be a guest at The Shilo Inn, when he makes his trips to visit us. The rooms were so super clean, you would not have known that this is a pet friendly hotel! Also, I personally found the beds to be so super comfortable!! The full size kitchen, that comes with everything you would need, came in clutch for my displaced family and it being so close to a Walmart it made it easy for my family to continue eating healthy. A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AT THE SHILO IN FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY! You all sure did make my hardship so much easier!!!

Let s start with I was a little concerned when I entered the building. First thing I noticed is that they are not using the hotel concierge desk but office desks on beside it. But it also gives you more of a personal connection too, so not a complete negative. Then the pool is closed for repairs. This was the main reason I booked an extra day so I could go swimming indoors. But again things happen. Andrea helped me get checked in and she is complete 110% customer service! She made me feel very welcomed and answered all of my questions. Even let me see the room before so I could feel safe about where I was staying. Love love love her! There was another lady that I met the second time I went up front for something, I did not catch her name but completely lovely! I asked about breakfast in the mornings and they do not currently offer any but do have coffee in the mornings. Which is no big deal. To me hotel breakfasts are hit and miss and here lately at other hotels it s been a miss. Now to the room. Blown away! Very nice layout. When I first walked in to view there is the sink and beauty prep area on the right with a bathtub shower combo and commode on the left. Very spacious. Past that there is a full kitchen with top bottom refrigerator, full stove, dishwasher and microwave. They supplied me with dishes, pots and pans, knives, utensils and flatware. The only thing I see missing is a roll of paper towels! Oh and maybe a dish drainer, spoons, and a dish sponge or cloth would have completed the full set up. Some of my personal items are in the pictures (water, luggage, snack bag, beauty case, etc) but you get the gist. Across the kitchen is a closet to hang clothes, ironing board, luggage shelf and a wall safe. Into the main area there is a pub table and stools, stools at the bar along the kitchen counter, 2 queen beds, end tables, another luggage shelf, rotatable tv, chair, and desk. I am here for a convention and this place is NEXT DOOR to it. I could walk there if I choose! Highly recommend giving this place a shot. I only took off one star due to the pool being unavailable.

Because I spent more for this room, I expected a certain quality of stay, yet received the complete opposite. It started with the check-in. One person at an office desk was checking people in at a snail pace. There were 5-6 people in front of me, so we waited in line for about 30 minutes. I knew at that point it was going to be downhill from there and it was. The hallways had NO A/C, zero. And we all know what kind of summer were having in TX, so this was just plain wrong and unacceptable. The heat hits you in the face as you walk to your room. The a/c in the room worked, but the room was not clean, see pictures. The hotel and room smells like it was built in the 1800s and should be demolished. I wore slides in the room the whole time, the floor was dirty. I did not step foot in the shower because there were stains in the tub, gross. Stains on the pillow cases and couch, ew. Luckily, I only had to spend a total of 5 hours in this room and that was to rest my eyes on the very edge of the bed before I hit the road. If I ever have to come back to Killeen, I think Ill take my chances at a cheap hotel, I believe Ill have better luck.

This place is a great choice if you need somewhere to stay for a few nights, but does have its downsides. Heres a quick list to see if its right for you... Pros: big rooms, very friendly staff, decent location, great list of amenities, kitchen in the rooms, pool & hot tub, black out curtains so you can sleep, soft and hard pillows provided Cons: unacceptable WiFi (its 10mbs and cuts out every 30 mins), rooms have thin walls (had a family stay in a room next to mine and could hear their dog bark, kids play and adults arguing), room layout & decor is bit dated. If you get a good price, its not a bad choice. But for me, strong WiFi is a must so it wont be on the top of my list in the future.

This hotel was very dated. The TV sets were the old CRT type. We asked for adjoining rooms because we were traveling with young girls that were 13 years old and under that needed supervision. But they put us in rooms that were 13 doors down hall. In both our rooms the air conditioner was not working and when we complained to the front desk, they sent a person up to our room. and all he did was turn the controls off and on again. And when we went down later to say the air was still blowing hot air, she just laughed and walked away. The indoor pool was more like a suana room. And the water temperature seemed on the warm to slightly hot side. Our stay and experience with this hotel was unacceptable. I would not recommend anyone staying there at all.

My husband booked a room with a kitchen for four days.First day got room keys went to the room and the keys didnt work had to go back to front desk to activate it. Shilo Inns Killeen should be categorized as a Motel not Hotel. My reason for stating this is due to upon arrival to the room male underwear was in the hall by our the room door. Entering the room had a unpleasant odor, the room should have been deep cleaned before a guest was placed in the room with a kitchen sink that wasnt cleaned, only one bath towel, asked for more towels several times. The second day after returning to the room from an outing the room key didnt work due to a plus size front desk worker deactivated the keys stating that guests had checked out but our luggage and personal belongings were still in the room. And the wifi is the worst. Checked out the third day. My true rating is a ZERO. Nearby activities: Fort Cavaros.

The bed made so much noise I thought it was broken. There were drops of blood in the elevator which werent cleaned up during my 3 day stay and the carpet in the hallwall is so old, worn, and warped it was hard to manage the old luggage cart. Will not stay here again!! Rooms need to be totally redone. My key card would not work when I got in at 3am the front desk person was sleeping and I had to wake her up twice to get this resolved, she appeared to be on drugs. I complained and checked out 2 days early. I was only given a 25% discount on my night stay, which was not good enough. Very disappointed in room and adjustment. This was a huge inconvenience for my family trip we had to sleep uncomfortably the first night, and then had to get up the next day and find a place to stay for the remaining days of our trip. I do not recommend this hotel until they do some updates, renovating, and a deep cleaning. And found out the day of check in the restaurant was closed for good. :( Rooms: Room was filthy. Bed linen stained. Hair in tub. Toilet dirty. Carpet sticky. Stowaway bed ridiculously dirty!!!! The hallway outside of room stinks of mildew smell. Will not stay here again!! Rooms need to be totally redone.

Yesteryear was probably great at this place as the design and furniture were very nice but it is time for a lot of updates. 1 wash cloth, no hand towels, and only 2 bath towels doesnt work. Neither the restaurant or bar ever opened and only coffee was available. Employee training and maybe a management change would fix the issues..

The property was under construction. The pools were ok.. the saunas were not working..it was like stepping back in time with the small box televisions. The place had a musty smell. Not a bad experience but the rooms were old and damaged a lot. The staff was great though very accommodating given the condition of the property itself. I would stay again just for the convenience of the location. Hope they make necessary improvements.

Horrible stay. The hotel is under construction for a remodel. We were assigned a room on the third floor which is under construction, there was white dust all over the carpet and going into the room. Along with old furniture and vanities in the hallway. We were reassigned a room on the fourth floor and the carpet in the hallway was still very dirty. The room itself was decent however there were only two towels and we stayed two nights. We asked the night staff for more towels but she said she couldn t get to them because she s the only person working. Also the night attendant was constantly away from her desk smoking in the back. Also the sofa bed that our daughter was supposed to sleep on was covered in urine. And again that did not have enough sheets and we asked for more but never received them.

Stay away from doing events at this place. We spent thousands for hosting an event with catering and all we got was Horrible service and subpar food. Paid $30 per plate for an event at this location and they delivered cold child menu like portions. When you complain to them no one knows who s in charge and insult you with all we can do is give you a tiny credit for alcohol purchase and a free stay . Prevent yourself, your family and friends the headache and embarrassment of hosting an event at this location at all cost.

They had live music on Saturday night, that was outstanding (sorry forgotten the name of the band) and on Sunday they offer an amazing brunch with a DJ thatll keep you hype. I totally recommend this spot if you are looking for great food and a place to enjoy entertainment. Love it!

Key cards are horrible had to have it recorded every time and 1 time it was 3 trips. Getting fresh towels impossible unless you want to go to the front desk. The Shilo Inn is showing age wall paper coming off the walls in the halls and the carpet has come loose in the halls making a tripping hazard. Hot tub was not functional but at least had warm water. The sauna was down as well. NOT TO MENTION THE LUXX MARTINI bar and Shilo restaurant has no updates times of business we checked in on Monday and checked out Thursday and couldnt go once because they open on Thursday at 5 and are open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday very disappointing considering this was the main reason for choosing this location. This was a horrible stay. May have been ok for 1 night but not an extended stay.

Not the best. Needs serious updates. One towel. No shampoo. No soap. 2 beds.... Im not sure its even been cleaned. The night shift girl said there are only 2 housekeepers so thats likely the reason our room was missed... so Im changing the sheets at 11:46 pm. I wonder if I should ask for a job? The hallway rug needs stretched really bad. Im not super awesome at the small stuff... like walking. Lol. I tripped up n bout ate the carpet. Bed spreads definitely need replaced. Beds are too hard. The check in lady was awesome. Shes from Guam, so we had a nice conversation about that. The menu here is really overpriced but its alot of options... unless youre vegetarian.

The staff was nice but could have been more attentive to what was needed for a big party. The food was OK, the meatloaf was literally hard as a brick. Everyone was having a hard time cutting into it. I do not recommend this place at all unless you dont mind being left alone and not being provided with enough plates, drinks, silverware, trash cans and staff.

Our stay was POOR because as we got off of the elevator, the smell was the bunched, loose carpet in front of our room door was over-whelming stinky. The carpet had an odor of mildew and staleness. The room was furnished with old beat-up chairs, each chair was stained with paint marks or some kind of soiled discoloration. There was a used glass on the window sill above the air conditioner unit. There was a used white dirty disposal cup under the bed. Since trash was still in the room from pervious guest, the hotel staff failed to properly clean the room. We cleaned the room ourselves with our personal Clorox wipes. Our room was double occupancy but there was only four towels in the bathroom, two face towels & two full size bath towels. As bedtime/shower time approached, I went down to the desk to ask for more towels, the desk clerk told me, the towels are being washed, well bring more towels to your room as soon as clean towels are available-we never got any more towels that night. So the next morning I went down again to the front desk & finally got more towels. We were booked to stay Friday & Saturday, we left Saturday morning. This was an horrible experience, we do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
