I give it 5 stars in comparison to Panda Express whose offerings most resemble Oriental Cafe. In all ways Oriental Cafe is better. Huge portions, greater variety and fairly priced. There are no extra charges for beef dishes. If youre in the mood for Panda Express, do yourself a favor and come here instead. The food is typical American Chinese style. Its bland compared to authentic Chinese food. It lacks the deep, heavy spices typical of Chinese food like ginger, garlic, 5 spice, but thats pretty much true for all Chinese places around here, so I cant knock them for it. The bottom line is you get what is typical for Chinese food in this area served hot and in abundance at great prices, and thats more than enough to justify a 5-star rating compared to its competition.

If you dine in or out you re eating out of a box with plastic utensils. . Food taste fast food quality. Cafeteria style serving. Not what we expected from the previous reviews.My gf noticed alive and dead crickets in the bathroom. If you are looking for a nice sit down Chinese restaurant, keep looking.

I discovered Oriental Cafe when I was a delivery driver in 2019. I was pregnant and I picked up a customers order. It smelled SO amazing I had to go back and get my own plate as soon as I got off work. The food is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I craved the pepper beef constantly while I was pregnant and got it every week lol. It is still my favorite!! Recommend 100%!!!

The food is what you d expect from mall Chinese food rather than from a restaurant since it s all precooked and waiting. Overall it s not bad, a quick, easy bite of food. It s fairly cheap too for their combos or even if you want to order a ton of sides. Anything deep fried was over cooked and dry but that s to be expected though. Their egg rolls are super good and their employees are really nice!

The food never changes, its exactly what youre going there for, and they have the best tea!! definitely recommend Kid-friendliness: There is a small dining area which usually is never packed so you can sit down and eat if youd like and theyre very sweet

Wow, where do I start, the oriental chicken was soft and wet like I didn t enjoy this food at all, the spicy beef was tough and not spicy at all, the only thing I enjoyed was the rice! You can get a good plate of food, with rice or lo mein and 2 sides for a $7 and some change, they have a lot of options of meat dishes and they are quick, its a cafeteria style set up, you see your food in front of you behind the glass and the person attending prepares your to-go box. This restaurant has been here for many, many years and since its a lil off of the main drag (Stan Schlueter) it is usually not so packed. Beats going to a buffet or waiting forever for chinese delivery!
