Pools look nice after renovations. But strongly agree with other comments about extreme levels of chorine as-well-as the low quality of the swim lessons. Teenage instructors quickly show the kids to do something without sufficient explanation and then do not correct the kids when they do it wrong. The business office also unfroze my membership that I asked to be frozen without my explicit consent. To self-justify not refunding the unauthorized charges for the past year, they forwarded me a notification email that I was not an original recipient of. DRAC is deeply disappointing in multiple ways. But, at least the pictures look great.

Been going to this Natatorium by choice but by force because of swim lessons. It s been over a year and so far everything about this center is bad or worse. People are even worse than facilities. Facilities are smelly and everything is dirty. People who work here are not at all friendly if you are not as the same color as them. And instructors are interested in making money to the natatorium than teach.

I saw a post by Scarlett on here talking about the cleanliness of the pool. That post was 2 years ago. It was mentioned that you were looking into new plastering because it s actually stains we are seeing. While I do agree some of the areas are stains, other areas do not look like stains at all. Can you explain your cleaning process? Are you still looking to do some new plastering? Hopefully the city will invest in taking care of it.

Five star for the facilities, but one star for the swim lesson instructors. My kid has been going to McKinney swim lessons since last year and the instructors there are wonderful. Contrast that to the level 1 instructors at this location, who are a bit rude, non empathetic and have a don t care attitude. We love this location, but will be reluctant to book swim lessons here again.

We got to the pool on a Sunday about 2:45 and they closed the pool and said it ll open back up until 3:45-4pm yet we have to be out of the pool by 5:40. They would not offer a discount for the inconvenience of charging full price for a 1hr pool swim. We asked if the rock wall was available and they said that s been close for quite some time now. The staff Mary was very robotic at customer service.

Family fun aquatic center with areas for the kids and for the adults. Clean areas inside and outsode to grab a snack, relax or get some reading done. Entry price was reasonable and staff was friendly. Definitely recommend.

I work all over the city and allen was on my way to work today but not close to my home, so I wasted a lot of time coming here and wanted to warn anyone who wants to swim laps here who wouldnt want a membership.

Its a great facility and run efficiently. An amazing place for both summers as well as winters. However, it becomes terribly hot and humid in summers being short of ventilation and inadequate air-conditioning. lately, its quite discomforting for Allen Residents as its closed for unspecified time with no timeline projected to reopen.

Its a nice pool with 4 small slides for kids and 1 big slide. The water bucket that fills slowly and falls is lot of fun too. The lazy river is so relaxing. There is a small palm tree with water falling around it makes a perfect place for babies to play.

I come here a lot and the last time I was there the water park is so dirty the stains in the pool and hot tub is brown! The floor you walk on is dirty with rust stains I m surprised I didn t get athletes foot. It needs to be deep cleaned. The chlorine also burns your eyes. Ouch

I sincerely wanted to like this place, but the chlorine levels are something else. I literally cannot enjoy it anytime here due to the high chlorine content. My eyes burn. I felt bad for my two kids (2 and 5) and only spent about 10 minutes here. I couldnt do this sort of injustice to my kids- one who has respiratory issues on occasion. I am beginning to wonder if the pool testers do test the pool and the chemical content because its beyond me how this is acceptable. Please hire qualified people to test your water. I understand that there must be a certain chlorine level, but I am almost certain it is above what is really needed. Never have I been to a facility where my eyes burn and cloud from the chlorine. I will ask the city to look into it.

I am recovering from back surgery and need fairly deep water for exercise. I am unable to use the leisure pool with any regularity. It is a large pool but it is used by lap swimmers and they will not share. This morning i was there alone for about 15 minutes when a swimmer struck me in the back who said this was his lane. The pool is either tied up with the lap swimmers or with aerobic classes. Plus the handicap showers are tied up by the non handicaped or the highschool swim team.

This place has so much chlorine in the air that it is bad for people with asthma because I went there and thought i was going to die if I took one more breath it was burning my throat omg this has to be against the law because they have no ventilation at all so it is holding in all of the fumes from the chlorine and that is what makes it so bad other then that the place itself is nice

This place is a total joke. Cheap prices lure you here to swim, but 90% of the time, the kids area or large slide isnt even on or working. We have been a few times in the last few months and almost every time, the equipment is broke. They dont bother to mention it when paying though before you go in. Today we went for spring break. The only establishment that limited their hours instead of extended them for spring break. They were supposedly at capacity 10 min after opening and proceeded to have tons of families waiting in the lobby until people left. It was ridiculous. I waited 45 min with my 3 little kids and when they finally called our name and I paid, we walked in to find the kids area not running at all. I was furious and asked for a refund to which they replied, they cant, but heres some free swim cards for next time! Yeah no. I will not be back PERIOD. Dont waste your time with this place!

We came before the Covid shutdown to a birthday party here and I dont remember it being so dirty. Im seriously shocked the city hasnt shut it down. The lazy river is literally black from algae build up and all other areas are gross with algae build up starting or there already. Considering the incident that just happened in Arlington you would think cleanliness, especially of a public pool, would be taken more seriously. We wanted to have a party here in a few months but definitely wont be back. This place needs a major clean up and probably testing of waters.

This is a very well run public facility. Always clean, lots of water classes for all ages, lots of lap lanes for public.. The upstairs gym is really well done. It has just had complete redo with equipment compared with high end gyms. Great facility!!!!!

Great outing for a rainy/thunderstorm day. Kids 2 & under are free, so I just paid the $5 adult admission. For a 2 year old and 1 year old, this was a nice one hour outing (as we were swimming before dinner time since availability for free swim isn t until 1pm/when my toddlers are napping). They have family restrooms and there s a shower in them, which was helpful for changing into swim diapers before for the kids. One star taken off for the one roach that fell from the air duct while we were in the lazy river (which actually had a decent current for us 3, as I m navigating the toddlers in their puddle jumpers). I brought my own puddle jumpers, but noticed they have a bunch of life vests in various sizes near the kids area if your littles aren t swimming yet.

Wow, thats really what I need to say about this place. Its the first time I had been there. I took my three teenage daughters and my niece and nephew who are eight and five. We all had a good time. I swam in the pool and did laps for about 45 minutes. Then I went on the slide. It was much bigger and faster than I thought it would be. And it was fun. Everybody enjoyed the slide. Except my little nephew who was a little too short. The Lazy River was fine. This place is not a huge water park but for $5 it is well worth the money. It is $4 for kids and $3 for seniors. I just turned 50 so I was able to get the $2 off for the senior deal. I was really happy. It wasnt too crowded. We went on a weekday. Im not sure how it is on the weekends. I probably wouldnt go because its not a really big area and if theres a lot of kids then it would be just too much congestion.

The kids have a great time every time we come. The lifeguards do a great job keeping everyone safe. There is a lot of room so even when it is busy it doesn t feel too crowded. My kids LOVE the diving board. I love how inexpensive it is to bring my kids and their cousins when we are visiting in the area.

The natatorium is such a great facility in Allen. Kids love it too. There are slides and things to play on. Olympic size pool where swim team trains plus another pool. There are lifeguards all over so feel very safe if this old lady starts to sink. Reasonably priced memberships and drop in rates. I m taking deep water aerobics and aerobics in the Lazy River. There are all kinds of classes, a weigh room upstairs.
