My wife and I stumbled onto this place the other day. Absolutely the best crab in town and the prices are crazy reasonable. Absolutely going to become a part of my regular rotation of restaurants I visit.

One of the worst cajun spots I have had since I been here. That wasnt even gumbo. I should of known it was gonna be bad when I just seen one ethnic group as staff. Get people who knows how to cook cajun food. Houston is the only place I will trust from here.

All I have to say is the food that I got for the amount of money. I paid for should of been $7 instead of 14. Never again, will I come here the shrimp was hard. The fish was plain. It wasnt worth the money. And the gumbo was no GUMBO

First time visiting this restaurant and I won t come back. My shrimp was over cooked it was so hard even when you split it opened it was just nasty and not tasteful. The drink was delicious the boil was amazing according to my little cousin. They get kudos for quality boil! We came in late but the Olympics was on and my little cousin wanted seafood. The music was great but it s a seafood spot so why not mix the music up so everybody hears something they can enjoy. I use to come to this restaurant when it was taqueria I loved this location sad it closed so now I have to go to a different one. I told the waitress my shrimp were hard, dry, and cold. She brought me back some hot grilled shrimp. I will recommend the boils but not the fried shrimp!

Husband and I went there for our 25th anniversary, was let down. His bucket of food was ok, he enjoyed the flavor but felt shorted on crab. I ordered a burger, something so simple and had to return it not once, not twice but 3 times. Supposed to have been cheese, pickles and ketchup. First time had mayo, second time no cheese and third time since it came with bacon I expected bacon. Each time I sent it back I had to wait another 10 mins. Drinks?! Had to summon the waiter to get a refill of DP. The first time my husband went there he had a better date with our daughter .

We ordered drinks, the Michalta was too spicy and the peach margarita one was too sweet. We told the waitress who was nice about it but the bartender wouldn t remake them and said that it was nothing she could do. Also, they said we had to drink them or get another drink and still have to pay for the drink we didn t want. Another thing is the food has no seasoning fr. I ordered a boil with garlic butter and lemon pepper and seafood boil came back with hardly no seasoning. Didn t taste anything!! The manager act like she didn t care and who barely even speak English. This place is the worse with customer service and management as well. The food is trash and they won t do anything about it.

Man for the first time being here was absolutely Horrible. They make some NASTY drinks! They still expect you to pay for the drinks even though it s nasty. They will make you another drink but you gone have to pay for the nasty one and the new one. Tell me how my food taste like FART!!! I was like awe man. like WOW ! 8/2 Of course came back to celebrate my other bbs birthday! Service & food keeps being impeccable! This time we ordered the ceviche & wow. Finely cut like we like it 6/6- came back to celebrate my bbs birthday! Andres our server reminded me to get my last receipt to get 15% off thank God I had it with me. Thank you!! 5/31- HAD to come here and celebrate my mama! She is very picky with food, but she did not complain about anything!!! 5/19- came back & got our fav server Carlos again! He got our girls juice packs again food is addictive! Husband loves that he is very respectful towards our girls & I. OMG!!!! Moved here from Aransas Pass, the coast! Missed our shrimp boils & we have found the perfect place! Carlos was fast, nice, respectful, PLAIN amazing! The staff was perfect. I secretly asked for a candle since its my hubbys bday & they left me ASTONISHED! came out with awesome lights, ice cream on top of churros & a re-lighting candle!!!! Best surprise ever! The food is amazing, fresh, hot, & ALOT for the price....

We ordered drinks but the server did not know what the ingredients of the drinks. When they arrived at the table they tasted horrible. It would have helped if a description of the drink were on the menu. We spoke to the manager and he said he would not fix the problem. We were very disappointed paid for the two drinks and departed the restaurant. We decided to go to Los Cabo s and get loved on by Ms. Sylvia where the food is great and they take pride in their food and service. Zero stars.

My daughter had the crablegs and shrimp she enjoyed them. I had the crab cakes they were big. The crab cakes taste ok. I couldnt put my finger on the taste, so Ill have to try them again. I ordered the shrimp and catfish basket. The shrimp were butterflied they were fried well taste good. I only got 4. The fish was Swai it wasnt catfish, they said 2 pieces. It was two pieces 1 filet cut sideways. I sent it back not because it was not tasty. I sent it back because it was not CATFISH. The SWAI has a slime to it that doesnt agree with me. The only thing I can say is if you are not serving CATFISH, PLEASE DONT ADVERTISE CATFISH. The service was great.

The vibe in there is amazing, decor is gorgeous. Our server was a sweet man thats doing an amazing job polishing his English and has a very pleasant accent. His service was impeccable and very kind. He said thank you more times than I did . OH BUT THE FOOD the flavor is amazing the quality is great. Im real picky when it comes to flavor and dont like under seasoned food. This is full of flavor I didnt even need the butter or lemon provided. Will probably become a regular customer. Date night has a new contender the bar atmosphere was great too! All I could need in one restaurant.

I tried something new and went for jambalaya. The shrimp are big and a nice amount was in there but that was it shrimp in some rice. I keep forgetting Im from Louisiana not them. I am not saying anything was wrong it just wasnt what I thought a Cajun place would have as jambalaya with so many other wonderful dishes and ingredients. Still a wonderful restaurant no harm done.

Impromptu lunch. We actually parked with intentions of going to long John silvers but; it smelled too good outside we changed our minds. We shared the garlic shrimp; if you love that extra fresh garlic on your seafood omg! Definitely coming back for more. Very disappointed! So first of all they have a new menu change where you can no longer order half a pound of shrimp and when I asked why I was given what I feel is a ridiculous answer something about its not cost effective because of the plastic bags? 2nd I may have went for it if I wasnt treated so rudely. I called first time the person act like they couldnt even speak to me. I asked a question they wouldnt answer. I dont know if they were busy but pay attention to the person you have on the phone. Then I called back, got someone else who was rude and snappy and interrupting me when Im trying to ask a question. Have customer friendly people answer the phones. BTW, I would have been happy to pay if the customer service didnt suck!

The food is great, but the service is not. I came in with my family and aside from a big party, we were the only ones there. Throughout our entire experience, the waitress would either walk past us to tend to the big party or forget the stuff we asked for. It was obvious that she was preoccupied with tending to them and would just blatantly ignore us. There was an older woman also tending to that table, which I assumed to be a manager or owner. With two people waiting on them, I don t understand how it was possible to forget about us like that. I ended up walking to the counter to ask for the food I had asked for earlier. Though I am usually a generous tipper, that treatment did not deserve a penny.

This local joint has the best lobster and shrimp. My husband and I have enjoyed being customers twice here. I highly recommend the pineapple sauce with the chicken or shrimp. The lobster soup is delicious and will feed three people! the sweet potato fries are the best ice ever had, and I even make them at home. The shrimp tacos are probably my favorite item. The order comes with three very filled tacos and I couldve eaten four more, not because the portion size is small but because they are so good. The first time we went our waitress was outstanding. My husband and I drink a lot of water and she was so fast to refill our drinks for us. On our second trip we had a different waitress who was very nice but had to be reminded a few times of what we needed. Eventually we had to ask another server for refills. I enjoy the modern day juke box they have. It has a wide selection of music at a small price. The restaurant is always very clean, the right temperature and the staff is always friendly. I enjoy the color on the walls and the decor, even though the large lobster sticker by the bar area looks a bit off. We will be back!

On today s adventure to Cajun Crabs & Shrimp #3, I braved the Catfish Po boy, and let me tell you, it s like they fished the catfish out of the bayou with a promise of stardom. This fish had crunch, sass, and a flavor profile that said, I ve been swimming in spices, y all. Packed into a baguette that s half cloud, half crispy magic, with just the right amount of lettuce and tomato to make you feel slightly less guilty about the indulgence. It s like a Mardi Gras parade in your mouth, and everyone s invited. The po boy alone is worth navigating the quirky chaos of this culinary carnival. Pair it with their seasoned fries, and you might just forget you re in Killeen and not kicking back on the bayou.

This to me is not good Cajun food. Minced sausage and popcorn shrimp in the gumbo. They also gave the wife and I fried tilapia in our orders probably due to the woman that took our order. She didnt speak or understand English very well. We tried the place in Harker Heights about a year ago and it isnt very good there either. I dont recommend this place at all.

Love that we have a Cajun here in Killeen, me and my wife used to go to heights and now it s here!!! Aguachile 10/10 Micheladas 10/10 The grilled octopus, man let me tell you what. I ve had chewy octopus, hard octopus, and my GOD. Best OCTOPUS I ve ever had! It s like butter honestly Not super spicy, but not lacking ANY flavor at all, honestly my new favorite dish. And for my super super spicy lover, (try the black aguachile, gawd damn! Spicy as hell) We get the boil bags and they re pretty good too. Usually the #4 is what we get Oyster shooters are awesome

Went there today and only had taken a couple of bites. The food was good, but I didnt enjoy it because this big cockroach shows up in the booth behind us... It had run to our booth. I couldnt eat anything after that. One of the servers thought this was funny playing games as if the roach was on one of us. The manager gave us a fifteen dollar discount. Fifteen dollars wasnt gonna keep me quiet, especially when there was at least 80% food I hadnt eaten. Never experienced this before, we will not go back here again. Spur of the moment stop and go on my way to lake. The catfish and shrimp were huge. I had lunch and dinner. The Texas Toast was really just a toasted top bun but overall it was delicious. Ill be back.

I ordered the crab shrimp and crawfish boil #5 and it was amazing! I got half garlic butter mixed with half Cajun. It had a tiny kick after I was mid way through my bag. . Nothing over cooked, all delicious!

There was not mutch cajon about this place. the food was ok at best. I ordered a pound of crayfish they were very small during the season. I was not impressed. we walked in and they were playing Spanish music so loud I couldent hear my waiter talking to me. there was also an extreme language barrier I could tell the waiter was trying very hard to understand what we were trying to order he went and got some help and we figured it out I may try this place agen if they get a better understanding of a Cajon atmosphere and get a little more practice on how real Cajon food should be done.

Me and my wife went here for Valentines Day it was excellent the food was superb for this being a small family-owned place it has a big time taste atmosphere and quality and quantity of food will go here often at least three to four times every month delicious and the drinks were extremely large and outstanding 100% recommendation Ive been living in Killeen since 1985

Omg..Great experience!! Took my mom out for dinner tonight and it was amazing! Rolando aka Jr was awesome! Best customer service I ve had in a very long time. Super nice atmosphere. Drink and food was on point. I had a Long Island, #1 Combo and cheese cake. I m not even a cake person but that thang was thanginggg Cake was moist and soft.. My new spot for sure. I will be there weekly

Theres nothing Cajun about this place. I ordered gumbo and salad. The gumbo was a watery flavorless soup with chunks of sausage and shrimp. Its mediocre Mexican food with a Cajun name.

Had the jambalaya. Its not bad but dont expect authentic jambalaya. Skip the gumbo though its just sausage, celery and rice in brown soup (not anything like a roux), and doesnt really have any flavor. Looks like a Cajun place but its more like Mexican food with a Cajun twist. I doubt Ill go back.

I would definitely not go there again I ordered four dishes two for myself two four My fried shrimp over cooked rock hard supposed to be gumbo was brown water in a cup with diced sausage Cajun shrimp was so hot lips burning 20 minutes after I left and to top it all off the jambalaya had jumbo pieces of Bell peppers and onions and they were scorched and not cooked completely I spoke to my waiter he took it to his manager they still refuse to give me a discount I left so disappointed and dissatisfied even after showing to the and he told the manager they refused to back down they wanted that money so I politely pay them and would never go back

The atmosphere is fun and well done. Ive been here twice and on the second visit the shrimp was breaking down into mush while I was shelling it. Ill come visit again and dine-in next time to see how it goes. My first experience was a good one so Im gonna need a tie breaker.

This is not a true Cajun restaurant. No Cajun music the staff was Spanish. I am Cajun so I know what Cajun food is a was raised on it. The food was ok the rice was Spanish not Cajun big difference. If you are going to open a Cajun go to Louisiana and learn how to cook Cajun food.

The food is excellent, the service is on point and the place is nice. I had the jambalaya and it was outstanding. The bartender is fast and courteous. The place is an branch of the Harker Heights location and lives up to the standard of its parent. A great family Cajun seafood restaurant and will easily be the beat in Killeen.

I walked in, and I was immediately greeted and directed to the order area for take out orders. They have a variety of options. I decided on the Catfish Po Boy with fries, the Grilled Cheese with fries from the kids menu, and the Gumbo. The service was good, and food came out packed up in about 15 minutes. The bread on the po boy was kind of tough. The fish was decent. The fries were good also. My son approved of them, and his grilled cheese. The gumbo is different from what Im accustomed to, but it was good. Its a very vibrant and well renovated restaurant with a bar. Ill be back to try a boil. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available

So my wife and I like to try new places in Killeen. This place did not disappoint in the FLAVOR department everything from the loaded fries with real bacon, fresh oysters on the half shell to the boil bags we had for our entree had TONS of flavor. Now the downside .the prices are a bit high. But if you look at it like you re paying for some home style flavor cooking then it s worth it.
