The service is extremely poor. The server was no where to be seen after taking the order. We were a group of 12 and they charged a mandatory 20% tip with the worst service. Some details - order an apple juice for an adult and they came with kids juice pack, when asked to bring it in a glass, he just left smiling. When asked again, he said it should have been over by now, will bring next in glass. Who says that to customer? When asked for to go box, the server never came back but took the payment in between.

We were told the wait time was 15 to 20 minutes. 30 mins pass and I decide to ask how much longer since we were told 15 to 20 mins. The host tells me it would be an additional 10- 15 min. We decided to wait it out. After waiting for a total of an hour we get seated just to wait an additional 10 mins with not one waiter coming to attend to us, we decided to walk out and stop by torchys as we were there with family visiting from out of town with hungry kids. While there we saw a lot of annoyed customers waiting to be seated. The whole staff seemed to have a communication issue. This place needs better management. Love this franchise but will never be going back to this location.

Dined in at this location on 9/26 at around 9 and sat at the bar. My friend and I ordered a 1/2 pound of fajitas. My friend and I explicitly remember saying 1/2 pound. They bring our food out & it seemed like more than a pound but did not know any different. We get our bill and they charge us for an entire pound ($60 btw) we tell our waitress who is the bartender and she goes well what do you want me to do about it you ate it already ?? Which who would question what s brought to you? Did not appreciate her horrible attitude and her horrible service! Will absolutely not be returning, very sad!

Best Mexican Martini anywhere! Best beef fajitas, chips and salsa anywhere! You can t go wrong here. Also the bartenders are awesome as well! Kid-friendliness: We have taken our grandkids here and no issues at all. I can t speak to the wheelchair access but I will look next time we go. I also can t speak to the vegetarians options.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. My favorite restaurant. Today (09/12/2024) Angel was my server and he was very courteous and took very good care of my family and I. I love how they clean and how thorough they are when a guest leaves. A flashlight was used to make sure no dirt was left behind.

The food was just meh, and the service was the same. If I sit thirsty for long periods of time, its not great. Disappointing... EDITED TO ADD: They asked for more information, so here it is. Three of us (THREE at one table) received the wrong meal. The wrong meal. They werent just mixed up. The server just didnt pay attention to what we ordered. She didnt ask for any clarification. She just brought three wrong meals. Id specifically asked for something not spicy because I am on a medication after surgery that makes me a little nauseated. I got a meal that was very spicy (to me). The server was not at all helpful. I ended up buying TWO entrees, and the second one (taco salad) had no flavor because they brought me (even though I asked for something else) jalapeno dressing. I m ean, are you even paying attention at all???? I know I already mentioned it, but I spent most of my time at the restaurant thirsty. Other people at the table were consolidating bits of water from different glasses. Im a big tipper, and I told my husband not to leave a dime over 15%. I just saw the charge (over $200) on my credit card bill, and Im still mad. Ill never ever ever go there again. Im not sure this is the more information they were hoping for...

2 times and been to that Restaurant Today my second and last Horrible Experience It took them a while to serve us, it was only my child and I, a young woman. Almost at the end, a large cockroach appears on the wall next to my child. The waitress was notified and only a large cockroach remained silent and flew on top of our table to the other side. A manager appears and steps on it in front of us and the bush literally sounds like a throne. They didnt offer us an apology or a discount, thats the least of it. But thanks we wont go again Bad experience

So I visited lupe tortilla on 3131 Regent Blvd so 1st off service was good BUT our waitress was rushing and must of heard me wrong bcuz I ordered fajitas for 1 with 2 setups bcuz we dont eat much while Im playing softball. So I tell the waitress that Im NOT paying $89 for her mistake and I said it nice and calmly. So her manager Lindsey comes out and I explained the story to her and she was like ok so Ill just take all the meat back and u can just pay for the 1/2 that yall ate. I was like ok but we didnt even eat half a pound of meat so take the extra meat and leave me what Im suppose to have. And then shes going to have the nerve to raise her voice while I was still being calm even thou I wanted to give her the same energy she was giving me but I remained calm and waiting for them to correct this issue. While I was waiting the waitress was cleaning off the table and she spilled the guacamole and etc and some got on me and I still remained calm. I still over paid and paid $64 but Im not going to let them mess up my day. Yall have a blessed day.

We were driving around looking for a place to eat, and I am happy we found this hidden gem. This location was spacious & the atmosphere felt welcoming. The staff members were friendly and greeted us with smiles. We told the Hostess it was our first time dining at this place. After we were seated, the manager introduced himself. I guess he heard it was our first visit. Soon after, our server (Kevin) comes by to take our order. Kevin was very knowledgeable of the menu & attentive. Approximately 15 or 20 minutes later, our food arrives hot & picture perfect. The entree was plentiful & flavorful which waa quite gratifying. There is no room for desserts this time around, but that is our excuse to return

The place is somewhat small. Definitely very challenging if you are there for a party of 10 or more, like we were last weekend. We had 2 people in our party that were Vegans, and so, they had a vegetarian menu, but not Vegan. The food is decent - quite pricey for TexMex..... The server was nice - but he kept getting out orders mixed up and several people at our table did not get their food like 20 minutes after everyone else already had theirs. The chips and salsa are good....spicy... Decent place....overall.

At 2:00 p.m. yesterday it took 45 minutes to get a cup of tortilla soup. The bartender forgot to put our order in. She was distracted by a regular and she talked to him for 20 minutes while other people were waiting to give their orders at the bar. The gentleman next to us even asked her if she had something against him. I would highly recommend getting a new bartender.

Came here to pick up an online order I made, was completely ignored and disrespected by staff when waiting for them to give me my drink. Their employees walked through me when I was standing waiting without ever saying excuse me to me, and when I sat down to wait I got kicked out of my chair by the lady at the front making reservations for people(for a group of people), even though there was a couple more tables empty not so far, and it seemed as though they had just walked in. My whole time there I was getting stared at by all the people for having my work clothes on and mind you most of the people there were elderly white people. I felt like I was being made a clown by own people, I expected some kind of respect or familiarity being that I m Mexican-American myself. I was greeted with nothing but the opposite. It s very obvious they are trying their hardest to cater to white people. Their food was alright but not the best I ve had in the slightest, it s too expensive for what it is really worth. It s sad to know this is how we treat each other as people.

Called a Month in advance to ensure we would be accommodated for a 17 party gathering on 6-14-24. We had a time slot at 7:pm. After countless times of asking for updates from the front end (never the manager) we ended up being seated at 8:03pm and had our food at 9:11pm. The only bright side to the horrible service or lack there of from the manager, was Dom our waiter. He did his very best to tackle our group alone without help from his supporting crew. Dom, if you can read this, Im very happy we had you but I do feel sorry for you in regards to the lack of support you have there. Keep your head up and keep working hard.

Lupe s WAS the perfect Mexican food restaurant!! That is until someone changed the amount of ingredients in the taco salad, especially the lack of tomatoes. Then my reward card has changed its rules? On the last visit the server couldn t even pull up the amount. So I signed in and found that the whole point system has changed. WHY? Why would anyone mess with perfection. Based on some positive reviews, we decided to try this place, and we were simply blown away by the quality of the food it was so delicious . This is now my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant! It was graduation night in Coppell and it was late but the restaurants were packed. We headed to Irving and found Lupe Tortilla. The food was great. I had the Crab and Avocado Enchiladas as I love crab and look for unique meals. It was wonderful. The atmosphere is a fun casual look. A true Tex-Mex chain restaurant. The drinks and entrees were decent but the salsa and bean dip is top-tier! I had the chicken & cheese enchiladas with rice and beans, along with a cocktail. We sat on the patio. The overall atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant is nice and casual. The service wasn t the best. We had a long wait time and I feel like our waiter kept forgetting about us. Overall, I m giving it a 3. I d go back for drinks and appetizers (I m not a huge Tex-Mex) fan. I had the Barbacoa tacos on the brunch menu and it was really good. Very filling. Will definitely come back to try the flat enchiladas that my friend had. It looked fabulous!

Really good food and great service! We had the ribs appetizer and the trio fajitas for 2. The corn tortilla was excellent and we usually dont like corn tortillas. The flour tortilla was huge and really thin. Some of us liked it and some didnt. Overall great experience and we recommend it.

We went to Lupes and had a huge order the staff was great at getting it iut to us. We got home and had some food missing but Lindsey the manager made her magic work for us and got our food plus some delivered to us in a timely manner. Just wow! I was in the DFW area and was looking for a top-notch TexMex restaurant. Saw the reviews and given it was close to my hotel I decided it would be a good choice. It was better than good. It was excellent! So many good choices! Service was outstanding. Attentive, courteous, very friendly. Atmosphere was classic TexMex. Outdoor seating is available. But of course the real reason for going is the food... and that was outstanding! The Margheritas were great. We decided to order the fajita combo platter with slices of medium rare grilled steak, chicken, shrimp and four quail legs, peppers and onions. Feeds 2-3 according the menu. 3-4 is what we thought. Incredibly delicious! Smokey grilled flavor, grilled onions, Their house made red jalapeño hot sauce had heat but also wonderful. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

Just a family outing of 4 adults , teenager and a 6yo - hanging out on a Friday night. We celebrated birthdays here and had no issues. Tonight, the waitress MALINA WAS HORRIBLE!!! No personality at all. She either didn t want to work tonight or didn t want to serve our table. My sister had to speak with the manager about her attitude. It somewhat worked. She kinda smiled when she came back to the table. I will definitely not want her again. Other than that, the food was delicious and hot!!!

Came here for my father in laws 80th bday. We had a very good experience. The decor typical Tex-Mex restaurant, which is a good thing. Nothing fancy here. Minimal wait to be seated. We got there during happy hour, which gave us $1.50 off house margs. They were tasty, and came will a small carafe to refill with (so good value). The food was good. Standard Mexican fare of enchiladas and tacos. They are know for their fajitas from, from my understanding, and my father in law had them. They were indeed very good, and cooked to his requested temp. Not cheap however at $32. The staff was wonderful and did a cool birthday song for him and some complementary flan. Overall a very good experience. Recommend!!

03/17/2024, Was my first visit to this establishment and I can honestly say I will not return. The portion size for a one person trio is not worth it. They advertise 1/2lb of food just to receive 4 measly pieces of chicken, beef and shrimp, not worth 25.99. Also, received a raw tortilla that was not fully cooked on the stove. Lastly, after ordering the food took between 30-40 minutes to arrive at our table.
