This place was absolutely amazing! I got the Monte Cristo sandwich and it was the best one Ive had yet. It had the perfect amount of breading and not too much meat in the middle. In town for business and staying at the hotel next door. I walk in behind a group of 4, so I wait to talk to the hostess after she seats the group. She comes back and I let her know it s just me and I ll sit wherever, she says it ll be a minute even though the restaurant is maybe half full, I m like ok. A group of two walks up from behind me and gets seated right away. I thought I was in the twilight zone or something. There s no additional context needed but the red head hostess in the front has issues. I stayed despite her and had a decent experience going forward the chicken pasta was meh, but I won t patronize this location again.

The service was slow and forgetful. I ordered the medallions med rare came out rare, was only able to eat 1 of the 3 and ordered shrimp never got it. Do not order an old fashioned, they are horrible. My boyfriend ordered a ribeye med rare ,came out medium and the fries were cold. I do not recommend this place at all.

My husband and I stopped here to eat after a long drive to our hotel down the street. We were seated immediately despite it being the dinner rush. Everyone was all smiles and the service was great! Sunday I ordered a bundle deal. It really was a great deal! I got $5 off the order. Also, for signing up for the rewards program, I got a free appetizer. The food was delicious! We had chicken tenders. There was a ton of food, more than enough. Most importantly, Matthew (a Mgr ) took care of an issue I had online ordering. He was very fair. His customer service was first class, both over the phone and in person. He came out. Shook my hand. Introduced himself. Apologized for any trouble. He went above and beyond. He had a great smile and handshake. I was impressed by his genuine friendly nature. I also witnessed how he treated other guests and staff and it was with equal enthusiasm. This man is an extraordinary asset to the restaurant. I hope Aspen Creek appreciates him because I sure do. People like that keep the customers coming back for sure. Thank you Matthew. So, I highly recommend Aspen Creek. The food is consistently good. Their pricing is affordable. You couldnt ask for better customer service. Well done! Parking: Spots next door as well. Very rarely does restaurant food properly hit what I call the Three Ts (Temperature, texture, & taste) I ordered fried mushrooms as an appetizer & their signature Decadent Salmon dish. I got curbside carryout and the food was so terrible that I threw it away. The burgers were so over done and the French fries were soggy and tasteless. I got baked potato soup and it was so salty I couldnt even swallow it. I used to like this place but it has really gone downhill recently. Horrible service, the kind where you have to wait 30 minutes just to order and constantly look around to see if you can find your waitress. One waitress in particular is awful. Nasty burnt unsauced wings as you can see from the picture. I also saw a dead cockroach in the restaurant but didnt bother to take a picture as I wanted to get out ASAP after waiting another 30 minutes to just to get my check. Bad food, bad service, and bad hygiene. Go to Texas Roadhouse instead.

I am on vacation by the resturant and our hotel told us about the restaurant next door. So after traveling we went for dinner. We did curbside pick up. Came back to the room to eat and as I cut into my burger and took a bite the next one was FULL of hair and I don t mean a strand or two I mean 6 or 7 pieces of short hair that was baked on the cheese. I called and was told a manager would call me back and I called on Saturday to speak with a manager after not getting my call returned and I have yet to speak with anyone. Not to mention that on Friday night when they closed down several of their employees were shooting off fireworks and drinking in the parking lot next to all our cars. Which I also have video of. I have attached the pictures and video here as well. Do not visit it don t waste your time.

Aspen Creek reminds me of the Old School restaurants I used to frequent when I lived in Chicago. Its quite dark, with individual booths, and eclectic decoration. This kind of place you expect Frank Sinatra to walk into :-) But the issue for us was not the ambiance, nor the service, which was excellent, it was the food. We both ordered the fillet mignon medallions, with mashed potato, and broccoli. The issue was the sodium level which varied wildly. The broccoli was almost inedible it was so salty, and after one bite, I didnt bother with it. The fillets were cooked well (as in medium rare as requested, not well done), and were tender with a little strange aftertaste we couldnt put our fingers on... But the mashed potatoes were again very salty. It was almost like two people prepared the plates... One, a smoker who couldnt tell how much salt to add, the other one in charge of the meat. Anyway, if we were back in the area, we might give them another shot, but frankly, it was simply an unremarkable restaurant that gave us little to no reason to return.

Aspen Creeks food quality & customer service have truly declined from when I first began dining here. The food is good, but nobody wants lukewarm food thats been sitting in the window. Due to the waiters section being overwhelmed or them taking too many smoke breaks. Our waiter smoked like an ash tray during our entire visit. We waited 18-22 mins for our food to arrive after we ordered it. Even our waiter walked past our table and stated, Your food hasnt been brought out yet. Ummm, is someone else suppose to bring it out? Youre our waiter, sir. After a few bites, I tried to get the attention of another employee to ask for a to-go container. She didnt hear me say Maam because she had ear pods in her ears. How unprofessional is that?!? Yeah, I like this restaurant, but this will be my last time dining here. Im tired of giving them the benefit of the doubt. Old review must have been deleted because this has been a family staple since the day it opened. Most of the menu has been tried and enjoyed by various ages, tastes, and budgets. The food comes out in good time hot / cold as it should but probably best to order an app or it might seem long. Spinache Artichoke dip and Green Chili Queso are highly recommended. Service is still good by 2024 standards; but ALL service is lackluster today compared to 2019 standards. Our server did keep our drink glasses full and checked on us twice over our long lunch. There were 3 other busy tables right around us as well for the same server. Still, it just seemed like we were a bother instead of a focus of the job. This seems to be the new normal service everywhere. Prices are also good for 2024, if that can actually be true. Again, not their fault everything has doubled since 2020. Still worthy of weekly visits, but your budget might stretch that to monthly.

Food was excellent. My wife had the spicy chicken salad and I had the Cajun catfish. Both were excellent choices. I also had the green chili cheese grits as a side and that was awesome. I highly recommend those three items. Our server was Ian, a.k.a. Cinnabon. Ian was friendly Courteous, attentive and overall just an excellent server. Thank you Ian for an enjoyable meal.

Staying nearby and decided to try Aspen Creek Grill. It is definitely worth visiting. I am drinking the Deep Ellum Dallas Blonde brewed in Dallas. It is a light blonde ale with a good flavor. Not like a Budweiser or Michelob. My husband opted for the Revolver Blood and Honey out of Grandbury, TX. It is a light wheat beer with a touch of honey. For the meals, I chose the hand battered (in house) cod with the coleslaw. Very tasty. Not to greasy on the fish and the coleslaw is mayo based without horseradish. He had the hickory smoked ribs. Yall, we are from the Memphis area. These ribs are delicious. The meat literally slid off the bone. They were moist and full of flavor. The green beans and sweet potato casserole were also a delight to the palate. Give it a try if you havent been here. (My only complaint was that the waitress could have been more attentive. We ate at 5, so it wasnt overly busy. )

The food was good. My steak was cooked perfectly and had a nice flavor. The sweet potato casserole was delicious and the coleslaw was a nice creamy slaw that wasnt too sweet or vinegary. I tried the tequila toasted marshmallow drink and immediately ordered a 2nd one. My partner said his burger was tasty and they had a gluten free bun for him. First, we were greeted by Sharon, who was very accommodating and gracious. She is definitely a fantastic first impression for Aspen Creek. Jimmy, our server, is awesome. He made spot on suggestions for our party and was always anticipating our needs. We never had to ask for anything; refills appeared, food was delivered promptly and properly and always with a smile on his face. And for context, the restaurant was packed and he perfectly managed all his tables. As a previous executive in hospitality, I am always critical of the industry, as guests always deserve the best and I can tell you Sharon and Jimmy deliver the best and surpassed my expectations. We ate there 4 nights in a row, as we were staying at a hotel nearby. We all ordered something different each night(with the exception of the fried cheesecake) and nothing disappointed. All the food was fantastic, with VERY reasonable pricing. The staff if the absolute best. All the wait-staff was super friendly and upbeat. You can tell it is a good work environment for them. You can NOT leave there without ordering the fried cheescake! It is off the charts and the serving is huge! Definitely a sharable dessert! We will make a point of eating there anytime we are in the DFW area and highly recommend it. You wont be disappointed!

Got the Sirloin/baby back rib combo with mash potatoes and gravy with green beans. It came out hot and delicious. The meat on the ribs fell off so tender and flavorful. Could not help but lick the bones good! Ordered steak medium rare and it came out with a nice char on the outside juicy and pink on the inside. OMG! This was our first time here. We came here for date night. The infamous Reagan was our waitress. She checked on us regularly. The food was indescribably decadent. When it came to the table, it was delivered quickly, fresh and piping hot! Like blow the food to cool it off hot! I felt like fairies were making our food because of how quickly it came out, and it was still delicious. For an appetizer, we had the slow smoked wings naked with Black Diamond hot sauce and the BBQ sauce for dipping. The Black Diamond... my favorite. I enjoyed the Cajun Catfish with broccoli, and my husband had the fried chicken steak with fries and mash potatoes. So good! My husband is not big on sweets, but he complimented the brownie dessert and he ate as much as I did. Definitely on the return list!

So we just had Dinner. First time weve been here. The one who seated us barely said anything, just looked at us and started walking. Some kind of greeting or even hello would have been nice. I had to get my wifes attention so she knew where we were sitting. Our server was overall good but not very talkative. My wifes steak came almost rare after she asked for medium well. We tried to find our server but couldnt see him, so the manager came by and took the steak back to fix it. I do have to say, the food was very good here. However, I was given my bill but not told I had to pay the server. So I took the bill up to the front to pay. At first I didnt quite hear what the gentlemen said, since it was quite loud. When I asked again, two people in the front said You pay your server! In quite a hostile tone. It sounded like I got on their nerves or something for asking a question. Realize, this is our first time here, so knowing where to pay your bill is not known to some people. So First time here, but not sure Ill be back. Seems like numerous people here are not very customer oriented. We were thinking of going Monday again when we first sat down, but by the end of leaving. No.
