The Sunday buffet needs significant improvement. The offerings were limited to chicken curry, beef curry, fried eggs, chicken peri peri, and naan. The only standout was the chicken peri peri, but that requires advance notice. There were no biryani or rice dishes, and the only dessert available was gajar halwa. Overall, this selection is not worth the cost of a buffet.

We stopped by today between lunch and dinner. All Halal menu (a sign also confirms Halal). We ordered Full Chargha (whole roasted chicken), seekh kabab (the winner) and chicken strips with fries Naan and puri. Food was fresh nicely cooked with mild spices, we also got rice with chargha which my wife enjoyed alot, white sauce was great and they provide full bottle on the table. Outstanding food at a no frills restaurant. Literally their meal deal number two; I kid you not, consists of succulent butterflied chicken, broiled to perfection on the coals and grill. The tastiest crispest fries with that Piri Piri flavor. This deserves a Michelin star all on its own. We ordered the number 2 several times including a party, and the whole thing just gets better and is perfection. A great crowd and stomach pleaser, no nasties, just a very delicious clean eat. Support your local Texan eatery, and make your tummy happy!

First the not so good...a heads up they dont always have everything you see on the menu. I was told some stuff is only available later in the day (naan after 1p or so) and some stuff only on certain days. So just be warned. I came early on lunch and wasnt able to order any of what I really wanted. (I cant recall his exact explination but the buttered chicken wasnt available when i was there either) Now the good. I settled on the chicken wrap. Nice price point. Wrap drink fries less than ten is good. The wrap is kinda small but I appreciate them not stuffing it full of lettuce to make it seem bigger. It has good flavor. The sauce seems to be like a mixture of mayo bbq sauce with curry seasoning. I rather enjoyed this. The fries are the battered kind. Similar to what you would get from popeyes. I dont know if its some kind of seasoning they put on it or just using the same grease but the Fries had a slight fishy taste but not terribly strong. Ill be back though. I really want to try their buttered chicken and naan when I can come later in the day.

The food is decent. The chicken burger was not so good as it was mentioned in the other reviews. The chicken is not crispy for a fry chicken burger. They can improve a lot. I run and review for boston halal foodies up north, but on my trip to Dallas, we ended up at Poblanos Piri Piri for dinner. The food was all great. We had the chicken biryani, which was excellent. My son had the chicken zinger burger was great and the fries were also very delicious. The full chargha - whole chicken cooked in a tandoor with spices was just finger licking good - peri peri sauce and the white sauce were great for even more flavor enhancement. Absolutely loved the food and and very reasonable prices. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal at a reasonable price! 5 stars! We went back the next day for Christmas Day brunch before heading out to Houston. Oh my God the brunch was delicious. The halwa, puri, chole, aalu bharta, egg omlet (desi style), chicken korma, chicken tikka and fresh naan and bhaturas (puris), mango lassi and chai all you can eat the food was amazing I wish we had Shakeel bhai in Boston! 5 stars again for the quality and the delicious taste of every item in buffet! Came in on a Monday night at around 5:40, it was not busy when we came in. There is only one cashier and she was extremely amicable and helpful. We ordered a chicken sandwich, a whole chicken meal and mango lassi. Everything was delicious! The chicken is super jucy too! You can order your chicken to be prepared with any of their house sauces. I was visiting from Houston. Tried dinner last night and came back for breakfast this morning. Chicken bihari and seekh kabab were out of this world. None of the Houston s restaurants come close to the taste and quality of their food. Tandoori naan were fresh and soft. This morning we had halwa poori breakfast with fresh crispy pooris and the traditional tasty halwa and aloo cholay. Freshly squeezed orange juice was another nice touch.Shakeel s hospitality is at another level. Would definitely recommend coming to Poblano Piri piri.

Let me start with the positives: My food was very fresh, and I believe it when they say their food is healthy. It has a very home cooked meal feel. The person who took my order was friendly and polite, the price was very reasonable, and the portion sizes were good. I can definitely see why people could love this place for those reasons. That being said, I was a bit underwhelmed by my meal. I ordered hot piri piri chicken strips. They werent even remotely spicy. Which I normally dont mind, but I was underwhelmed by the flavor, in general. That could have been on me for ordering the wrong thing. However, they were also out of the coleslaw side I ordered, and their drink machine was also out of order. Not exactly a good look for a restaurant, but it happens. Since the new reviews ask about the atmosphere now, I guess I should point out that their atmosphere is simplistic and did not have much in way of ambiance. It doesnt exactly seem like a place people stay for a while. In summary, I definitely understand why people love this place. However, there were just a bunch of little things that added up for me. While there is nothing overtly wrong/bad about this restaurant, I dont see myself coming back. Nor can I recommend it, unless you want a home cooked meal that is on the healthier side, and order to-go. Then maybe I would list it as an option.

Had come here to try their burgers but ended having their lunch buffet on Sunday afternoon. There wasnt many items but all the items were delicious and the price for buffet was decent. However the kids menu wasnt a hit with my kids. The chicken strips were hard.
