The attitude of those at the desk is very rude. A very negative attitude especially to customers. The Front desk behind the cashier desk STINKS very bad. They need to mop and clean with an antibacterial cleaner. If the front desk area stinks , how clean is the kitchen? It probable dirty also. Clean the place thoroughly with the proper cleansers and improve your attitudes.

The carpet has been replaced with tile flooring, but you can feel your shoes stick. Employees are not so friendly anymore. We just spent almost $80 and we didnt get a thank you or goodbye at the door. We stopped coming in for almost 3 years, so we thought we try them again and see if they have a better, friendlier staff, but we were wrong. Now we probably wont ever return.

Can be very hit or miss. Thought it was bad one time? Try it again. Thought it was really good one time? Try it again. I always get the special fried rice and its almost always different each time I have it. Can be super good or not good at all. If they could make it more consistent, I would recommend this place to everyone. Edit: food has been much more consistent and delicious

Some friends took me to this cute little place that was way bigger than expected once we were inside. Simply and beautifully decorated. Every item we ordered was delicious and spiced as requested. Mild dishes were mild and spicy dishes were spicier than mild. If you really desire a kick, ask for it. The staff were friendly and helpful and perfectly attentive without being in your business. They paid attention but were not officious. They were perfect! If you have disabilities or need extra room to sit, they are set up to be able to easily accommodate, and they are happy with being able to accommodate when needed. Great people. Great restaurant. Definitely give it a try (or three)! Vegetarian options: Clearly labeled, easy to identify, delicious! Parking: Parking right in front. Perfect! Kid-friendliness: Plenty of noodle and rice dishes as well as dumplings and finger food. Many dishes are mild, and perfect to interest kids looking sideways at their veggies! Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room, easy to accommodate wheelchairs.

The food and service was great! However, there was a stench in the air that almost made my stomach turn. I chalked it up to them, perhaps using old/sour mop water, because the floor was freshly mopped. Also, if I were to dine in again, which I most likely won t, I d definitely use my own silverware or request plastic ware. The establishment was decent, but it could have been cleaner. I would order take here in the future.

This place many years ago, used to have fresh, flavorful food. Not anymore. My husband wanted takeout from Panda Garden, being that we hadn t eaten there in a while. The service is superb but the quality of food is no match. The General Tso s chicken had huge dry pieces with lack of flavor. The egg drop soup was clear with corn. I m used to a yellow based soup with no corn and more eggs. My husband wanted the special fried rice, which lack flavor and had a very dry texture. Will NOT be returning.

First time we had it delivered. Nothing was good. Chicken with vegetables was so soggy and looked like it was chewed. The shrimp lo-mein was extremely dark, burnt and made my co-worker ill. I have never in my life had orange chicken so bad like today. One bite and the whole lunch went in the trash. Unbelievable

I m a millennial and saw mostly senior citizens here. That in itself describes the taste of the food here. Very traditional old-school Chinese food. I had the General Tso. It was swimming in the sauce. The meat tasted fresh, but the sauce was overwhelming and super thick. It did not taste homemade rather containerized. The egg drop soup was a pale color not yellow and vibrant like most places. It had corn in it. I love corn but not with my egg drop soup. Not an ideal combination. And not stated on the menu. The egg rolls were very pale white. Not deep fried like other places, absolutely no crunch rather a soft roll. The inside was filled with cabbage only. My husband got Chicken Lo Mein. It was extremely salty but dosed in soy sauce. We like our food seasoned but this was not a pleasant taste. It was extremely salty. My husband also got some dumplings it started with and S. Again swimming in sauce. Very overwhelming. None of the labeled spicy items were spicy at all. We asked for chili oil and it was very gelatin like texture. Not spicy and very cold and jiggly. The reason for the 3 stars is because the service was impeccable. Very good team work and our drinks always remained full at all times. The servers were helping each other and very attentive. They clearly have no control of the quality and recipes. Though, I did find them to be the silver lining in this experience. Sadly, I personally would never return. Pho Ben next door is our preferred spot to eat. Hope this helps anyone looking to have a great date night.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I ve ever had the pleasure of getting food from. Their food is fresh and delectable. Very welcoming and friendly. Next chance we get we will dine in as my husband and I always get it delivered or take out. It s also in a shopping center where there s many things to do so it s perfect for a date night! I ve been eating from this restaurant for almost 7 years and I ve never thought about giving them a review. Really because I ve never had any complaints on anything. I just want to say this place is great. The service is great, the food is great and if you order delivery and they say 30 minutes it s not true because they will be there with your food in 10 - 15 minutes! I am glad they are close to my work so I can continue to be a customer.

I have been eating here for many years. Will not be returning showed up. 33 minutes before closing, i just got off work. As we walked in to the restaurant, the owner looked disappointed that we were walking in and told us basically. They did not want us to sit down. We can only take a to go order. Would think after being a good customer. For so many years, they could take 10 minutes to serve us. But instead, just wanted us to leave right away. Very disappointed will never return. 6 years ago..Great service and excellent food quality. Egg drop soup is delicious. 5 stars. Today June 18, 2023 3 stars at best :( It was unbearable heat. Unclear if the AC wasnt working right. Fried rice was burnt and flavorless. Orange chicken was a blob of breading and im.sure at least one piece was pink. Egg drop soup had so much cornstarch I couldve used it for glue. It is clear something changed dramatically. Sadly, we will not come back to this place.

Yesterday I tried their kung pao and general tso s chicken, both with steamed rice. The entrées themselves were both soaked in extremely watery sauces. It made the breading on the general tso s disintegrate into a soggy mess. It was like eating chicken in a dark puddle of water; the chicken was devoid of any flavor. The kung pao was the same except the tiny peanuts gave some flavor. I d say if the general tso s was a 2 on a scale of 1-10, the kung pao was a 3. The rice wasn t sticky and was warm and not hot. I asked for extra soy sauce and got none. My meal turned out to be a complete waste of money. I didn t go back to complain because there wasn t one redeeming quality that made me think they could do any better. I will never eat here again.

The waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The menu had a great selection of dishes. I had enough leftover for my lunch the following day. Parking: Parked in front of your restaurant but no handicapped parking close to your restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: There may have been wheelchair access but it was not close to your restaurant. I use a rollator and my husband was able to assist me with the curb.

This place is the best kept secret in Sugar Land. Weve been coming here for years, and the food is always good and the staff is genuinely friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended! I ate at this restaurant for years when I was younger and then stopped but I can t remember why. After years I ordered takeout vegetable lo-mein, with tofu and asked for it spicy along with egg rolls. The food was mediocre. My noodles weren t spicy but bland and boring. The portions were literally half of what you get if you go inside to eat. One of the chicken dishes I ordered had almost no chicken, just vegetables. First let me say Im not a foodie and I am not picky about food. I am the type of person who goes to a Chinese buffet and comes out happy. This place was absolutely terrible. Ordered 2 different beef dishes. All the meat has been heavily soaked in corn starch to make it seem tender. Both dishes had the same vegetables, same disgusting meat. It seems they just open a jar of sauce and slap it on. Very mediocre food. I would avoid.

I ve been coming to this place for over 15 years but ever since the change in management the quality of food and service has gone downhill fast. I ordered the chicken egg foo yong and it came extremely greasy and oily. No taste whatsoever and it was falling apart. Simply awful. I complained to the manager and she said she wouldn t remove it from my bill because that s the way it supposed to taste and there s nothing wrong with it. I told her I ve been coming here for years and never once complained and the least you could do was remove it from my bill since I only took a few bites. She said no sorryI I ve seen numerous times where they get other customers orders wrong they have to go back and change it. I come here at least two or three times a month. With food and service like this I won t be coming back for a while. It s no wonder the place is always empty when I walk in.

I have NEVER NEVER had to wait an hour for Chinese food at a restaurant. The service here was horrible. Given we went on Christmas night yet they were not busy. I would be willing to cut them some leniency if they were busy yet other table came AND left before we had our food. The egg drop soup was too salty, even for my taste. The Kung Pao Chicken did not have much flavor. Water glasses of my fellow diners were empty more than full. The waiter NEVER checked on us. Again, they were not busy so I expected service to be given. I absolutely would NOT recommend this place. We went here as a group so I did not pick the place. If you are a group of more then 4 people, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

This is good food and great service for a decent price. The wonton chips at the beginning are addicting. Dont fill up on them though because the food is quite good. I typically order one of their hot garlic sauce dishes and have always loved how spot on the flavor was. Convenient location where you can get service with a smile and a delicious meal.

Reasonable service. Good prices for the lunch menu. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken with hot and sour soup and cheese puffs. The chicken was breaded and sourish tasting. Not spicey at all. The hot and sour soup again very sour not hot. Temperature or spice. The cheese puff was cold and over fried. It was first and last time to visit them.

Not impressed. The 2 chicken dishes were swimming in sauce that did not taste like any versions of teriyaki or general tso s we have ever tried and the chicken was still ridiculously dry. The egg drop soup had no taste except a faint bit of corn. The egg roles were ok and I only have personal gripes about the fried rice, but all of this for $50 was not worth it to any degree.

Honestly don t know why anybody would come here, they would charge you for anything (including sauces). If you want extra broccoli, that s extra $2 charge!! That s just straight up robbery. And they will probably get your order wrong once or twice. Believe the reviews about roaches, because I ve seen them in the place.

I am very disappointed with the service I received her today 6/09/21 at 8:30pm. Me and my husband always come to this restaurant and eat, at least 2-3 times a month. Needles to say we always order the same entree when we arrive. For some odd reason today the server was very rude and confused/ I do not eat pork I had to repeat thing several times. We are owners in the food and restaurants industry. And the way she treated me, I would never handle a customer in that manner. 1- you should make people feel welcome, 2- listen, not everyone eat the same things the same way. But at this point, I m over it, the next time I will take my hard earned money somewhere else, where the service will be a little more up scale with respect and welcoming customer service. Go somewhere else if these thing matter to you!

This place used to be so good back in the day its a shame... and I try to give them the benefit of the doubt and order every now and then just to see if they fixed anything and never fails for my food to be cooked the wrong way its either over cooked or missing ingredients just inconsistent...very hit or miss depending on what you order... the food is good when done right tho
