As someone who was born and raised in New York, I have to say I was very impressed with the new york style gyro! I got the Manhattan Mix Plate topped with pita and their white sauce and a side of garlic fries! Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection, and the workers are extremely nice here as well. Wow exceeded my expectations. First time here, came in around 8pm place was empty so was not expecting good or fresh food especially for take out but took the risk anyways and Wow the manhattan platter was piping hot and delicious! I m visiting a client here in Texas and needed to grab some quick eats last night and decided to try New York Eats. First thing I noticed was the comfortable open seating arrangements and pleasant atmosphere. I was then greeted by the most friendly personnel. They were very helpful and accommodating when I requested To build my own burger with no bread. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience And the food was equally Amazing. I got the lettuce wrapped burger with their sauce, pickles and onions. I m leaving this morning to head back home and I wish they were open for me to grab a couple on my way. If you end up around t New York you ve got to stop by and try their burgers. They are fantastic!! Parking: There is plenty of parking and easy access to major Rhodes and other amenities. I love this place. I know them for their platters. It s basmati rice, gyro, falafel, chicken and veggies with pita bread. They make their own white sauce that is delicious. Their fries are very crunchy and they top them with smoke paprika. The items that are deep fried don t feel greasy. I used to go to the one in Arlington but I moved and is far from me. I m glad they opened a location in Irving. It s the same as the one in Arlington.

Came to this location on August 21 2024 around 8PM. We ordered the Manhattan Mixed Plate and the Bronx BBQ Burger. Their plates never disappoint and after trying this burger for the first time why would you go anywhere else after giving it a shot? The burger was very filling with a lot of toppings, you can tell they cooked the burgers fresh, and the brioche bun was just perfect. Srinikitha was very kind and even though she seemed new she still got her job done quickly and with a smile. She even came to check on us to make sure everything was okay. Josh was the cook for these two amazing meals and on top of cooking the burger and plate to perfect, he also came out to have a quick chat. Sohaib was managing the place and was both in the kitchen and in the front, and he seems very knowledgeable and kind to the other employees. He came to check on us as well and we had a friendly conversation. The atmosphere of this new restaurant is great, seating areas are spacious and kept very clean. This is one of the many places I ve been to since I moved from New York to Texas and this one by far has the most caring staff, tasty food and cleanest environment. They are very generous with the portions and managed to make the food taste exactly like it did in New York. Even their hot sauce is one of the more flavorful ones I ve ever tried. I personally got the Manhattan platter and let me tell you, BOTH chicken and gyro were a 10/10. I have and will again recommend this place to others. Try this place ASAP!!

I have eaten here 2 times. Well, I have ordered food to go 2 times. Both times, the food was ready before the estimated time, which is great. Service has always been polite, and the food is tasty. The first time, I got a plate, and two others got wraps, and the second time, I got a chicken wrap. Between the 3 wraps that I have seen/eaten, the sauce amount has been all over the place. One had a small/normal amount, and one was absolutely drenched when both were ordered with the regular amount. Like it looked like they had dunked it in a bucket of sauce like a hot Italian beef sandwhich. The 3rd, I ordered with EZ white sauce and it was far from light. I can only imagine if you ordered extra, you would get a wrap floating in a bowl of white sauce soup. That is my only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, as it could be a turn-off for a lot of people. Seeing as the meals come with a little cup of sauce, I would recommend the owners instead go on the lighter side of saucing. A customer can always add more, but they cant remove it. Aside from that, all the food I have tried so far has been fresh, hot, and delicious, and I will most certainly return to try a burger and fries one day. Vegetarian options: Their falafel is bomb.

I recently dined at New York Eats and thought the food was amazing. I ordered the Manhattan Mix Plate, a New York-style halal street dish, and everything tasted wonderful. The unique way they sliced and placed the pita bread added a great texture. The service was good, though it wasnt busy during my visit. The restaurant itself was mostly clean, but the mens bathroom was extremely dirty. I mentioned it to a staff member, and she quickly addressed it, so I hope it improves. As long as they address these concerns, I have no problem with revisiting this establishment.

Walking in, there is a direct path to the cash register, but its evident after getting there that the building design flows the ordering line to the right after walking in. It seems rather confusing for new customers and there were many people forming a lime through the middle of the restaraunt along the direct path. It took very long to get the food after ordering during lunch. It was over 45 minutes from the first person in our group ordering til the last person got their food. Maybe every 10 minutes food came out for our table. Once the food was delivered, it was pretty evident the meats were not cooked on a vertical rotiserrie. The taste was okay, but left much to be desired. The soda fountain and ice machine were not working, and spare condiments were nowhere to be found. Tables were fairly dirty, with my section having a sticky residue. Inside the kitchen, there was a beeping sound coming through that would not stop. Something like a fridge open or food timer going off. Wasnt worth it in my opinion.

I ate at the Arlington location years ago and was excited to see this location opening. Ive now been twice this week. My 11 year-old son loves the platters - the perfect meal for a growing boy with endless appetite! I decided to try something different today and get a burger, even though you can get a burger anywhere, but Im glad I did because the Brooklyn Burger is probably the best burger Ive ever had. The cheese fries are amazing, as well. Their prices are lower than most fast food places these days, but the food is top quality. The people who work here were so nice both times I visited. If you havent tried it yet, you definitely should - it will become one of your favorites.

DELICIOUS Food! The Self order kiosk was easy to use, fast and convenient. But the operations need a little help. The ice manchine was not working, soda fountain is not working. Condiments are not accessible. You have to ask for ketchup and wait for someone to bring it to you.
