Nice hotel in good location. The Room was clean and no sign of bugs which is always my main concern. Other than the remote not working the room was great... Unfortunately I left my AirPods behind once I got to the airport realized I left them. Immediately called the front desk to let them know, would ve been nice if he could have went to get them & put them in lost n found, but instead the guy told me he d let housekeeping know. Once I was able to come back a few days later housekeeping took them! There at someone s house nearby

On the final night of my stay, I checked into this hotel. The hotel is close to DFW. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everyone I interacted with had a smile. The room was large and clean. The shower pressure was very powerful and felt nice. Unfortunately, I had to check out early as I was flying out of Love Field airport and my flight was early, so I did not try breakfast (included)z I would stay here if I was finding an airport near DFW. Rooms: The room was large and clean. My room was a king bed with a pull out sofa. It was very comfortable. There is a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. The shower was small but had good water pressure. Walkability: The hotel is located near various restaurants and shopping. There is a Red Lobster in the same area. Across the street, there is a McDonald s, 7/11, Jack in the Box and more. A Walmart is located 10 minutes from it.

Rooms are good and the location is also good. The only thing I want to give 1 star is for the service at the reception. Not sure of the name of lady if its Jessica because thats the common name they keep it even when the shift ends. First of all that lady was very unwelcoming and just threw the hotel keys at me and was so rude to tell me to see the details of everything about breakfast and wifi is in there. She didnt even had the courtesy to show me the elevator when asked about it. She had the wierd attitude of zero customer service. I wouldnt be booking my stay for next month which I was planning for 2 weeks.

I took my son to 6 Flags, wanted to stay as late as it was open which meant I needed to find a hotel near there. Unfortunately those were expensive, $200.00 +. Decided to drive a little, Holiday Inn was the perfect choice. The front desk employees were very courteous. Our room was beautiful and very clean. I like the fact that the shower and toilet were separate from the sink so I could brush my teeth while he was in the shower. The air conditioner worked well. I tend to sleep better when its cold. The beds were very comfortable. The free breakfast was fabulous. My son loved the self made pancake maker. The attendant was quick to replenish the food that was emptied so quickly. I will would highly recommend this hotel.

Flight was delayed to the next day, AA gave us a hotel voucher. Joseph night auditor was great, room and bed was very comfortable, shuttle driver (from Argentina??) was also very friendly. Joseph night auditor was superb kind and showed hospitality. Management was terrible.... this is not an airport or a travlers hotel. Flight landed 530 am arrived hotel 6 am after 11 hour flight offered to pay early check in fee. Manager gordon said tell me we have no rooms ad to come back after 5 or 6 hours. There was plenty of rooms. Again what terrible customer service IHG should be embarresed especialy for a holiday inn express.

IHG-member hotel located just south of DFW International Airport. They have an airport shuttle so you can call to be picked up. Be sure you know exactly what terminal youre in front of and that you are waiting for them in the properly designated area for courtesy vehicles otherwise they will not see you. Advance reservations recommended but I was able to make last minute, same-day reservations. Staff is friendly and the facility is good. Mid-range price-wise but the airport shuttle is an added bonus. Breakfast served on site. Rooms are comfortable but not luxurious. Efficient without seeming cheap. Blackout curtains, small desk & chair for working, wi-fi is suitable for business use including video conferencing. Hangers for clothes, irons & ironing boards in some rooms. Coffee & tea service. Good-sized flat-screen TVs with an assortment of channels. Beds are comfortable and include both firm and soft pillows you can choose from. Bathrooms are clean and provide liquid shower gel, conditioner & shampoo in the showers. Liquid hand soap by the vanity sink. Most everything you need and very little you dont. Rooms: See above. Comfortable but not luxurious. Good use of space without being cramped. Nearby activities: Restaurants, convenience stores and other necessities within driving distance. Safety: Didnt seem bad but exercise common sense especially after dark. Walkability: Not terribly walkable. A handful of restaurants on the same side of the freeway and in walking distance. Food and drinks: A handful of restaurants in walking distance on the same side of the freeway.

Nice quiet hotel, rooms are big and comfortable. Beds are big but really hard I liked it. Ate the breakfast Monday morning at checkout day. It was good, a lot to choose from. For such a short layover, my stay at this location was cozy. It s centrally located around the corner from the airport within walking distance of chain restaurants. My room was extremely spacious and the front desk agent provided me with some discount tickets to a local restaurant. Walkability: You could take a 15 to 20 minute walk to Walmart, or step outside of the hotel and go to Red Lobster.

I booked this hotel for a two night stay. My wife and I checked in late due our flight. We walk into the room and the people around us were super loud and it was 1am. We tried to call the front desk but the phone wasn t working so we walked to the front desk to see if our rooms could be changed due to the noise. He tells us there are no available rooms and he would tell the people to be quite however there were about 20 people being loud. We also informed him about the phone but he didn t believe us, called our room and said it is working fine. So we walk back to our room and noticed there were two huge bugs. We didn t stay in there long enough but I m sure there were more. It was disgusting and looks from the reviews this isn t the first time. So we booked another room across the street. When we went to leave we turned in the room keys and told the front desk employee we were leaving because there were bugs. He asked for photos as if we were lying. We showed he and then he decided to offer to move us which shows us he lied to our faces which was infuriating. Also just a heads up getting a refund because of all this is a nightmare. I would not recommend staying here. Update so I went to the hotel to request a refund. The manager didn t bother to even come out to speak with us. But we booked the hotel through Southwest and since we paid them we had to contact them. So we immediately contacted Southwest who informed me that the money was already sent to the hotel but they said they would contact the hotel on our behalf. The hotel refused to refund although we didn t stay there and I m sure they rented out the room since we left. I would never never never stay here.

This is one of the worst experiences I have had at a hotel in a long time. Only stayed here because our flight was missed because of a late connecting flight. Staff was rude, huge line to get in, then the only thing that was happy to see my wife and I was a really big roach that scampered towards me as soon as I went into our room. I m not sure if everything in Texas is big but the roaches sure are. The thing looks like it s from Madagascar! So it s later in the evening and we are forced to stay there but I decided to ask the receptionist if there was anything they could do. This India native cockroach sucker looks at me then at the roach in my hand and says like can I help you? I say yeah I killed this huge roach on the floor in my room do you usually have huge roaches? He nonchalantly shrugged and says yeah all the time, we spray for them sometimes but they come back. I say well it s worried my wife is there something we can do about it? He response was well not really what can I do? I say well something he just stairs off into space and says whata ya going to do, what can I do? I glared at him for a while, somewhat dumbstruck by the lack of care or concern and after staring at each other in silence I said. Never mind this is clearly a waste of time. Don t make the mistake I did. I wish I could leave a review for the whole city, everything here sucks just don t even go there. Airport = terrible, McDonald s = longest wait ever, taxis = your business is not worth it to them, customer service = trash, roaches = huge. An unexpected stay here because of a cancellation at DFW. Was enjoyable for the eight hours I was there! There was one woman at the front desk that was efficient and courteous when checking in me and my fellow travelers, most of whom, like myself, had airline vouchers from American airlines. Nice that this hotel is less than fifteen minutes from DFW and the shuttle was great. I try to avoid flying through DFW because of the skylink nonsense anyway, this time I got stuck there. The hotel was at least a good nights sleep!

I don t always write reviews, but I felt like I should. I enjoyed the large oversize room during a 2 week stay, plenty of natural light. The location is close to everything. The swimming pool was always clean and great temperature. Clean exercise room and modern equipment. Great breakfast included. I experienced a problem, which to me shows true service in how they handle it. I got back to my room and it smelled like cigarette smoke from the room next door. I went to the front desk and the housekeeping manager was there. She did not hesitate at all about switching my room and came up with me to confirm. She requested her housekeeping staff assist in moving my items which was very appreciated. They will charge the guest and mentioned they lose revenue from the guests that complain as well as extra cleaning charges. I never thought of it like that

I stay here for business once a month. Each time that Ive stayed, my experience has been satisfactory. The staff is very hospitable, kind and accommodating to the needs of their guests to the best of their ability. The rooms are HUGE and Ive found them to be tidy and clean. The towels could use an upgrading, some of them were quite dingy assuming to over usage and being old. The breakfast is the the basic Holiday Inn express cuisine, but nonetheless, its served hot and presented in an hospitable manner. The location kind of sucks because there isnt a lot of restaurants surrounding the area. If you dont have a car, then youre pretty much forced to order Door Dash, Uber Eats, etc... Other than that, I would suggest this location if youre in town for a short stay. It meets the basic needs for a good nights rest and a hearty breakfast in the morning to start your day!

I missed my transfer at Dallas Airport and had to stay a couple of nights. The first hotel shuttle bus I saw, I asked the driver (Rich, who is a star!) who immediately called the hotel about vacancies, and they could offer me a room - (they are always quite full I was later told). I got a really large room (about 50 sq m) with gleaming white bed sheets, very clean, with large TV (lots of channels), microwave and fridge. Other lovely staff (Salaia, Amy and others) really made you feel at home, explaining about local malls and eateries, all within walking distance. Theres hot drinks you can get yourself in the lobby all hours. Breakfast was good - eggs, sausages, pancakes, yogurts, cereals... you can really stay in the spacious room and stretch out and relax. I think the price was really good for what was offered. It made being stuck in transit a great experience, anytime!

Is the first Holliday Inn on my entire life I have bad experiences with services and not friendly staff. I spend a weekend with my family and do my reservations with special requirement for my kid I asked in the front desk they only answer I received is I m don t know I don t have idea. 3rd floor every day smell like smoker section. The room I have don t have enough towels. They not even touch my room for cleaning the entire weekend. Service need to be more efficient and pay attention on details. I believe this happen is because I just pay 30 bucks for stay and use my reward points being a Silver elite member for nothing.

There are several Holiday Inn Express properties around the DFW airport. Make sure youre going to the right one. We arrived at this property, and it was the incorrect one. Travel-tired we decided to book a room anyway. The front desk person was unhelpful, suggesting we walk to the other property. They were short about rooms, did not correctly enter our information, and did not provide a receipt. Asking about the shuttle to the airport before we checked in, they forgot, until we reminded them, and the shuttle does not begin running until 6am. This didnt work for our needed 4am drop off. The rooms were clean as always, not a lot of personality, but its fine for a layover. I just cant quite get over how little care was taken. Id try one of the other properties and skip this one.

I had the chance to stay for a layover in Dallas on the 12th january. Holiday Inn offers the shuttle service which is every 30mins and take about 10mins from terminal D. For people asking where to take the shuttle, you have a purple sign on the main floor indicating the shuttles waiting area. For the terminal D, the sign was near the D1 gate. The room was amazing and the bed wasso comfy. Also, the breakfast was included and it was complete as we had a lot of different options like omelette with cheese, Omelette with veggies, Cinnamon bun, pancakes, sausage, orange juice, coffee, and a lot more... I recommend booking there as the price is really worthy.

Ended up checking out and going to another hotel for the rest of my stay. GM said they would call us for more info about incident on shuttle bus but haven t heard from them. Flew American Airlines from Cabo to Dallas. In Cabo after we boarded the flight was delayed to due some minor preventative maintenance on a grounding bolt to re-fuel. It put us behind an hour in a half then after landing in Dallas our gate was being used so we had to taxi to a different gate. After all this we missed our connecting flight home and American Airlines put us up in this holiday inn and the front desk people took really good care of us and even booked our shuttle for in the morning back to DFW AIRPORT. Had a continental breakfast and we were on our way.

Very nice staff and helpful but I reserved a suite and according to the manager a suite at this hotel is a king bed and a chez lounge. As a Diamond Elite Member, I really expect the app to reflect the type of room you get. This was definitely not the case. The only reason I stayed was because it was 5 minutes from the airport.

***Vehicle Vandalism*** Be Aware. Early this morning, thieves cut the catalytic converter out of my truck. They were in and out in less than a couple minutes. Irving Police say it has been happening more and more in this area, especially with the easy access to multiple freeways. I would have stayed elsewhere if this was mentioned in a review. Eyewitness stated same thing happened last week to a member of their company. No word from hotel manager yet about any video surveillance. Hotel rooms were nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Parking and security a deterrent for me.

After 3 cancellations and 10 hours stuck in FL airport trying to get into Dallas, we specifically chose this hotel because they told us shuttle service would get us as it was storming and it would be difficult to get an Uber. Upon landing we found out the shuttle service ends at 11 which we were never told (we called two hours earlier to book). We spent 40 minutes waiting for Uber and paid $50 for a 7 minute drive. Manager never called back in regards to request to have Uber reimbursed even with multiple calls.

We stayed in a standard two queen bed room. Room cleaning conditions were okay but not the best. It has a very small restroom which was hard to even in and out. Liked a view from a large front window. Very kind staff members and a good location. Will visit again.

Ms. Briana at the front desk was very friendly. She checked everyone in with speed while also answering the phone and kindly giving people directions to the shuttle for the hotel. Got billeted here due to a missed connecting flight at DFW. The front desk and shuttle drivers were extremely knowledgeable about the airport and had no problem getting me from the pick up to the hotel and back to the exact gate I needed. The room was nice, I did detect a smell in the hall that I can only describe as slightly dirty vagina but Im into that so I consider it a feature rather than a bug. My only gripe at all is most of the dining options were across the highway. There was a red lobster right next door but no fast food places.

The shuttle was terrible, we had to wait 1hour and half and when it arrived the driver was very rude and impolite. When we arrived to the hotel, we were informed that the reservation was cancelled by the main IHG office and I had to expend almost 2 hours dealing with that situation, then out of pity the receptionist asigned us a room, for us to sleep for 2 hours before taking our flight home to Toronto. Really bad experience.

I ended up here by accident (cancelled flight and issued a room here) and it was the highlight of my trip so far. The shuttle driver and every employee I have met have been so warm, welcoming and above and beyond kind. Truly a breath of fresh air for how customer service has turned in the US since Covid. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable and the continental breakfast was truly the best one I ve ever had! Next time I will be staying here as my first choice

I have stayed at 4 Holiday Inn express to date The Dallas Forth worth airport south is a very nice place The only complaint for me was that the mattress was a little more firm then I like and the bed was to high as I am only 51 Breakfast was good The famous cinnamon roll is good However this location takes them out of the conatiner that they come in and it dried them out The Anchorage alaska location leaves them in and they are moist and yummy All in all the room we stayed in was very nice and clean I would stay here again.
