Rooftop bars nice sounds. They dont have their own parking lot. You will either have to park it on the street or the parking lot around it that can cost up to $28 - $30 depending on the lot per 3 hours.

They told us to be there at 6:30 for a show that didnt start till 8. We paid about 600 for a VIP couch that held 6-8 people. The couch was 3 boards lined up against the wall. The way they had them sectioned barely held 4 of us comfortably. I will admit that we are bigger girls though.... Do not waste money on VIP. The best seats are the free ones. And those fold out chairs are way more comfortable than the planks they laid out for us to sit on. This venue is a joke. The show was D+ and thats being generous. The best parts lasted about 20min total. This place is not worth paying for. They should be paying you to show up, in my opinion.

Visited at SXSW 2023. Its an open-air box, so its very open. The view of Austins skyscrapers from the second floor is especially spectacular. There is a big bouncer (so-called bouncer) outside, so you can enjoy the atmosphere as well as the feeling of a box only known to those in the know. Be careful when it rains.

My experience on March 4th night Holi party wasnt great. Entry and door staff were good but the security guard (Dark bearded caucasian) at the toilets was outright nasty. I was sober and I properly observed his behaviour with me and others. I informed staff including this guy about the spillages and cans on the floor twice but instead of getting someone to clear it, he threatened to kick me and my friends out. I had to move away from that area for the rest of the night to avoid both. Things to work on: - Better customer service - Cleanliness and safety

Phenomenal dance space laid out beautifully for the decibel-indulgent. I was inches from the Glitch Mobs incredible DJ set most recently and the surrounding upstairs balcony is just right. Not a bad spot in the house, seats and couches lining every wall making for extra comfy setting even up close to the stage. Drinks are as expected, its dirty sixth after all. But this is why I love Austin. Up close, live, in concert. Beautiful.

This place is amazing. Great vibe and they bring in some Great artist. We were there to see a local artist NGage_Official, we have followed him to shows in Kansas and Dallas and he never disappoints, but to see him in The Venue ATX was incredible! This place is so spacious, and so clean, the people working there were so pleasant even while dealing with a large crowed. Definitely a place I would recommend and if you like Dub Step EDM music check out NGage.

This is a really nice and interesting small, intimate venue for concerts and other similar events. The problem is that it is an open air facility, which does not lend itself well to Texas in the summer. The concert I attended was on the hottest day in Austin since 2011, and it was so hot that at least one person needed medical attention during the event. This would have been an ideal place for a concert in the spring or fall, or maybe even a mild winter day. Its kind of a tough sell for the summer though.

Employees Steal! When I first moved to Austin I was a regular at shows here, about once a month it s the only house to bass music. After the shoddy sound system blew out my ear drum and sent me to urgent care I still went back. I finally decided not to support them after too many awful experiences with the bartenders. They will throw random, high priced numbers at you if you re paying cash and pocket it. I learned very quickly to call them out on their miscalculations but continued to watch them take advantage of other patrons and laugh to one another about it. I tried to reach out to the venue about my experiences but I never got a response. I choose not to condone awful behavior like this.

I went to see Virtual Riot, and everything else aside, the actual venue was fine. Upstairs level had some good views, especially if you were VIP. Double shot of tequila was $17... Didnt mind too much because it was well poured and the bartender was a knock out. Tickets were around $17 as well.

I am really disappointed with the staff of the venue. This is our 4th time there and every single time we have been there isnt nothing but harassment and honestly I feel targeted. From telling us to put out our smokes, but yet everyone else is smoking right in front us. To taking our juice cart from us and scanning our tickets so fast we dont even have the option to walk back to the car to put them away. At this point I feel like you owe me a replacement for my juice cart that your front door staff decide to keep and smoke from.

Great sound and wonderful artists here. Waiters are really friendly. I didnt like the atmosphere, too weird people. Also, I think its a local too focused on VIP áreas. The dance floor is small, because is sorrounded by these áreas. Finally, I have to say that some bouncers were rude when they asked people for leaving the roof área, because It was only for VIPS. Thats mainly why I give them 3 stars.

The Venue is THE Venue. It s a great place for a live show. Open layout with a cool upstairs viewing cat-walk, and great service! Awesome blend of indoor and outdoor music venue. Plenty of room for medium sized show with an intimate feel. There is a lower and upper level, and they even thought about putting bathrooms on the top floor! Staff is friendly and very eye catching. My only complaint is the fact that you almost pay Vegas prices ($$$) for drinks, a double shot is over $15(!) and you can definitely get cheaper drinks pretty much anywhere else on Dirty Sixth. Great for a show though!

Horrible experience here. At the end of the night, we went to close out. Come to find out they had GIVEN OUR ID AND CREDIT CARD TO SOMEONE ELSE! They closed out someones else tab on my credit card for hundreds of dollars over what we had ordered. They claimed they would refund my card but after a week and a half and trying to communicate with the managers they have done nothing to resolve this. I cannot believe that the mistake even happens in the first place, but the fact that those in charge are doing nothing to rectify it is absolutely unacceptable.

When my husband and I first discovered the Venue we were so excited. We are huge EDM fans and the venue itself is spacious and great for dancing. We used to look forward to going there and taking our friends. However, this past Saturday night (3/27) showed their true colors. We are not new to the club scene. We know clubs over charge and need to make money to make a profit. We walked around 6th street and waited until after 1:10am because they had let us in the past several times without having to pay a cover charge. We were in a group of 5, but they were charging $40 per person or a bit cheaper if we paid in cash. Even though this was clearly a scam, I had no problem with it because I wanted to show my friends a good time so I paid $120. My husband on the other hand was drunk but more so upset because he has been scammed before at other places (ex. letting others of different races go in free and then charging us). After we went in, he asked a group of people who came in after us if they had to pay or if they were on the guest list/VIP. They said no, so obviously my husband got more upset. When we got in the security accused him of pushing another patron which was NOT TRUE AT ALL (we have multiple witnesses). He was then kicked out. They were going to let the rest of us stay and enjoy but eventually they demanded that we all leave. We were not even there for 5 minutes. I was able to ask if it would be possible to get my money back to the very kind manager, Rich, who said he may be able to but it would be tricky because I had paid in cash (clearly another scam). The company who collects the cover charge is separate from the Venue so he would have to ask them. I also explained that a few of us believed there was a racial component to this because half of us were Asians and there were no other Asians in the club. Rich kindly explained that the owner is Indian and that is not the case. He gave me his card so I could email him. I emailed Rich the morning after and he explained the money would not be refundable because my husband was aggressive to the ticketing staff - then why wouldn t they refund the rest of our tickets? The Venue staff was also aggressive with us as well. I ve accepted that but I had to give it a shot. I then called the Venue itself and was able to speak to the owner. The owner was incredibly rude and condescending. He got unreasonably defensive when I brought up race which is a common response when there is some truth to it. He then accused me of threatening him after I said I didn t want this to escalate to the point of having my lawyer get involved. He said there is no point to this conversation and said it was over. I apologized and said I am just trying to make a compromise. In my personal opinion, an owner of a large establishment should be more mature and professional than this. I understand the loss of my money, but the way this was handled was immature, unprofessional and another clear example of nightlife establishments scamming people who just want to have fun.

Like many venues on 6th street, this place is pretty small. The GA section was crammed in a corner where only the first row of bodies could even see the stage, and the tables were blocking everything. Nobody was even using them. The area in between the very front of the stage and the GA was a VIP section apparently, so that was kind of frustrating, and there were at least 3 different VIP sections that seemed a bit like overkill, since so few people were even there. A bit frustrated, but hopefully events like the one I went to will be different when the pandemic dies down more.

I went there but they didn t allow me to enter because I wasn t with a girl. They told me there are private event but allow everybody else. They just pick anybody want to enter base of race If there is private event, they should have a name list or check tickets Also on their website calendar there is no private event

The best secret spot in atx for edm. Lines are crazy all over downtown because of covid but this place had immaculate vibes and no line.

All most one month The management unable to fixed Elevators. Off course the makes full rent even no sorry. Tannent lives 5ths and upper level what happens they re used stairs 5 to 6 times every day . Attention to owner and supervisor.

I will never come back to this place again. First off, I paid to see a show with my girlfriend before hand online. Once we arrived, they stuck us in a corner table where we couldn t see or hear the music. They said You can upgrade to VIP for $25 a person and I had 3 people with me and there was another couple that tagged along. I decided to pay for my 3 people which I was told it was going to be $75 dollars but I was charged $98 dollars instead because of taxes and fees . It took the waiters/waitresses a good 45 minutes until they even checked up on us to see what we wanted to drink. Keep in mind after we already paid $98 on top of $30 in tickets for VIP. My girlfriend ended up buying one drink and the tab came out to be $19. Are your serious?... the waitress came by MAYBE 2 times to check in on us throughout the night and we were VIP. The sound was not even close to where it should ve been with such good DJs performing along with unprofessional staff that would not only never check on us, also would get on stage in front of the DJ and record them on their own person phone. Overall the night turned from a $15 dollar night to a $150 dollar night and I only ordered one drink for me and my girlfriend. It was definitely not worth the money and is obviously a scam to take peoples money for a subpar venue. There s way better venues out there that actually care about their customers! DONT SETTLE FOR THIS ONE!
