Green salad with fried squid... mango tea with peach... all delicious. Especially the calamari with two super delicious sauces! Its been a while since Ive tasted something so delicious, crunchy and tender on the inside...highly recommended! The mega fresh salad and the delicious frozen drinks. The best thing was the attention of Julio, our waiter, who treated us like queens and gave us very good suggestions.

Where do I even start? This was the venue for my wedding and I cannot recommend it enough. It is the most GORGEOUS scenery with amazing photo ops! But that s just the tip of the iceberg. The food is to die for (beef wellingtons were our biggest hit) and the drinks are amazing. The different options for your wedding package are all very worthwhile (GO FOR THE GONDOLA EXIT! YOU WON T REGRET IT!) And on top of all of that, everyone who works there is beyond sweet and amazing. Laura worked with my husband and me and helped us out so much that it makes me tear up just thinking about. Laura and all of Venetian Terrace made my special day perfect and everything I could have ever wanted.

The Venetian Terrace is an event venue, BUT sometimes they open up and show you to dine with a reservation. My wife and I chose to splurge a bit and enjoy our date night to the fullest: a few Old Fashions, Frenched Lamb Chops to split and each got the Beef Tenderloin. These were possibly the best steaks weve ever had! The mushrooms and red wine glaze are PERFECT. The only thing I wasnt impressed with was the amount of asparagus that came as a side, other than that I have zero complaints. Decor was beautiful, all of the staff was so welcoming and attentive and the bar can make some great drinks!

This place was perfect for my wedding venue. I wanted an outdoor reception with indoor options. Plus this has gondola rides down the river for the guest! Preparations They have a price list to build your wedding à-la-carte style food, photographer, DJ, etc. Makes it really easy as they narrowed down the list to venders they trust and know. This also allows you to pick your budget. Laura met with us about 4 or 5 times before the wedding to make sure layout and timing went as planed. Day of wedding Laura made sure everything was set up. As she already knew the caterers, DJ and decorator, I did not need to confirm with those vendors that day. She made sure my guest knew to sign the guest book, ride the gondola rides and drink while my groom and I were taking pictures. All pictures were beautiful as the whole area has a romantic Venice style. Bride and groom get to sit on throwns while eating. She served us two directly, even though we picked the buffet option. She made sure we felt spoiled. We danced outside under the soft lights. With the river/canal near by and the garden the whole night felt magical. I definitely recommended this place!

Cannot say enough great things about this place! We had our wedding here last month, and had the best experience! This was actually the first and only venue we looked at, Laura was extremely helpful, patient, and responsive. She really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! We had about 35 people in attendance, but they were able to accommodate the place to not make it look so empty which I loved. Food was delicious, and the background on all my pictures look absolutely stunning. Definitely recommend to have your wedding here!

I have been a vendor at the Venetian Terrace for about 5 years now and I can honestly say that this venue is DFWs secret hidden little gem. You cant even see it from the street, it is a journey in itself to make your way down to the beautiful scenery which includes the Mandaly Canal. I love working with Laura the venue coordinator and Muhamad the owner, they are both charming and professional, and they have put together a terrific team!

I had a top notch experience working with Laura at Venetian Terrace. She was professional, responsive, informative, and a great addition to any wedding day team. Her staff worked quickly and efficiently delivering food and drinks to guests. Everyone raved about how delicious the food at Venetian was. Lets admit it, typically wedding meals are crap, but Venetian made it a meal youd pay top dollar for at a restaurant and return to. Great spot for our smaller wedding of 75 guests. Bonus, there is a get away gondola option if you choose to have your wedding or special event here!

We had our 2023 Holiday party (about 50 people) at the Venetian Terrace. It was a complete success and we were very pleased with all aspects of our evening. We opted for a 3 hour event with appetizers, several buffet options, and the dessert bar. We had an open bar, did the gondola rides, and brought in our own DJ who we knew from a different connection. Laura worked with us to figure out the details - thank you Laura!! - and everything went according to plan! I received great feedback from our staff on this event. People even said the food was good, which is not the norm for many of these types of events. I would highly recommend this venue.

Venetian terrace was the perfect place for our wedding! The euro inspired vibe on the mandalay canal made it such a unique choice and we knew it was the place for our special day as soon as we toured the venue! We loved everything from the decor to the food and we received great feedback about the venue from many of our guests too. It was so helpful to have a full service venue and all of their partners/vendors were awesome. We only had to worry about photography/videography and our traditional cultural elements. It s great for a party of 80-100 guests and still gives a good amount of space for a dance floor. Laura was also an incredible wedding coordinator! She has great experience with all events - she covered everything better than we could ve hoped for and she was so organized. She took all the stress out of our wedding day once it arrived and we can t thank her enough. We went through every detail during our meetings and she was extremely responsive to any requests throughout the process. We really enjoyed working with and getting to know Laura as we planned our wedding. She is so lovely and thoughtful!

The venue is nice. Has a very European feel to it as the name implies. The space inside isnt huge by any means. I was there for 80ish guest wedding and it nearly filled the room with 10 tables a bl and a buffet table. The remaining space was for the dance floor which was probably about 30x30 give or take. The bar tenders were definitely pouring the drinks hard so kudos to them for making good drinks! The food we had was continental style with scrambled eggs, French toast, Monte Cristo, and herbed potatoes along with fruit salad. It was good but not phenomenal.

First of all this place has a beautiful setting. But looks are deceiving, I made reservations for mothers day. When I made the reservations they told me it was brunch reservation, we get there only to find out that it was a Buffett no different than a hotel Buffett cheap eggs , ect. Not only that they charge 33 dollars per plate . Now this is a Buffett lets make that clear. After being charged 33.00 per plate 120 dollars for my sons and myself they had the odacity to ask for a tip. Really . Dont waist your time none of this is explained on their web site.

Overall this was a fantastic place to host our wedding, beautiful little spot on the canal with all the necessities and definite 4-5star food! There were some things that made this experience uncomfortable but overall it was an enjoyable experience. It is a very busy venue so beware when you approach that you will be competing for time with other couples that are scheduling and meeting and what not. Laura is a sweet woman with a lot to manage, I think it would help if she makes it clear that that her undivided attention will not be provided unless she is hired as the wedding coordinator, A very fair practice just not made clear to my wife. We decided to be our own wedding coordinators and had plenty of friends to assist us with doing so, However there were some last minute Changes in the floor plan of the restaurant mostly because it is a small place and theres not a lot of play with the area for weddings of 120+ people, but were unexpected on our part. The food again is fantastic! No complaints from us, some people said their Salmon was a bit dry but thats bound to happen serving so many. The servers seemed to be a tad out of order, as the food came out they seemed to wait for people to be seated to serve which took a bit longer, but everyone did eat and all was well in the end. The one mark that almost makes me want to put 4 stars, we stored everything in random boxes from our home, when the gift bags were brought out, they were just set in the lobby inside those cardboard boxes, and not placed out where guests could see what they were and grab them. We had several guests not get them because of this. All of this is constructive and not a major damaging factor to our beautiful day. We had a lot of fun, and Laura is a down to earth cool Scott! I hope this helps everyone on their journey, and just so you know, TAKE THE BOAT RIDE, it was wonderful and the Capitaine was chill! :)

Im not impressed. No southern hospitality here. I was traveling with my elderly mom who needed to use the facilities. I asked them if that was possible. Even a simple no would have been decent. However the woman told me to wait and shell get back to me. Then she proceeded to ignore my mom and I for the next 15 minutes while my mother sat there under the sun at risk of a heat stroke. Frustrated I went to her to ask what the verdict was and then she told me she was told no. Ok!! So you were told no! Then have the decency to relay that message to me so I can help my mom sooner find a different avenue!! Understand that elderly do not have the reserves younger people may have!! Just have some kindness and human decency. The nearest place I could take my mom to was up the stairs and a 8 minute walk in that hot heat!! Thats 8 extra minute on top of the 15 wasted!! Please. Learn to be upfront and try not to lose sight of your humanity.

Venetian Terrace provides the most well-rounded of experiences for a pleasant Sunday brunch. Located by a canal offshoot of Las Colina s Lake Carolyn, Venetian offers a secluded outdoor ambiance with a combination of calming lakeside life and rustic Italian-inspired architecture. Should you decide to opt for indoor dining instead, the elegant and spacious interior will not disappoint you. The wait-staff exceeds their roles in making customers feel welcome and tended to. Yet, the pinnacle of Venetian s experience are the dishes prepared with an unparalleled degree of freshness, to the degree that you may begin to question what you considered brunch was before the Venetian Experience. My personal favorites are the flaky chocolate croissants, savory eggs Benedict, and breakfast potatoes that somehow manage to be simultaneously crispy and fluffy.

We have been to 2 international nights in the last 2 weeks. Very good food (The Lebanese night was especially good, but the French themed night was outstanding too). The staff are very personable, friendly without being in your face. This really is a hidden gem, I have lived within walking distance for 22 years and never knew it was there. It started life as a wedding venue, but its hard to make venues work at the moment. So they cleverly opened as an end of week restaurant in the evenings, with French, Lebanese and Itaian nights on Thursdays. The kitchen is pretty close to being a scratch kitchen, so the dishes are generally prepared when ordered. That can mean that things take a little longer, but it actually helps us relax and catch up on the day while having a leisurely dinner. Definitely on our list for the Thursday events.

I got married here so I can provide better inputs - the food we got at the time of tasting, tasted way better than the food that got served at the wedding - no drinks were allowed from outside and they charged about 4$ or more for a bud light or more - the owner I.e. Ms MONA left with the left over food before I left with the my bride. Guess what, I slept hungry on my wedding day. Hope she enjoyed my food even though it tasted bad. - my mother in law was looking to send some food with us because no bride and groom can eat during the wedding but Ms MONA took the food before she could realize it - Texas has way too much land to get married on. I could have got married on a park with catering from chipotle. Trust me, that will be way too better - Be ready to help your guest with direction as there is difficult turn for the venue Even if you still want to get married here, Please plan to keep some food saved in the bag before MS MONA take it away Response on reply Thanks for reaching out. It took me like an year to believe that people like me Mona do exist on this planet earth .Below are the timelines which might help you I got married on 10th November 2018. - wedding started at 6 pm - dinner started at 7:30 pm - few guest arrived at 9:30 pm and we got to know ms Mona already left with leftover food which she was trying to SAVE for herself or from other people so the server had to serve them the food which I and my bride was supposed to have.

I was passed along to another gentleman to work with and communication was absolutely horrible. I would have to reach out multiple times and copy other people to get answers. Not a good experience and very nerve racking. Ultimately on wedding day food was delivery on time, everyone was happy. I was told food was absolutely delicious. I m vegan so I didn t enjoy it but it looked really good. My vegan dish was ok. As for the location it s a must for great pictures because the area is WOW WOW WOW.

For those who dont know, Verentian Terrace now has weekend brunch. The smoked salmon omelet was delicious and the coffee was good as well. My roommate got a mimosa (which currently has a deal of $5 for one) and loved the fact that they seemed to use real orange juice. I dont think its common knowledge they are open, so social distancing on the patio was easy. I highly recommend!

Excellent food & very professional service. We were 15 people and didn t know what to expect. They explained everything and went the extra mile to make sure We choose the right dish. It was the best brunch I had. The smoked salmon Omelette was unbelievable. The location is very gorgeous, reminded me with San Antonio River walk. Strongly recommended!

We felt very comfortable with the face coverings and social distancing COVID practice. We will definitely be back. Excellent service experience and better food. The food was prepared very well and the quality was superb. This was the best prepared fish and beef that I have had for a long time.

We had our wedding here. Mona was the coordinator and I cannot say enough good things about her or this place. The scenery is great, the servers are fantastic; its really worth the money. They can accommodate small to large venues. The food was PHENOMENAL. If you do your event here, I highly recommend the duck.

This is a fairly unknown place because of its unusual location; its right next to the canal under Mandalay street. Ive been working in the area for almost a year and have never been here, but I regret that now. The food is great. Very fancy high dining restaurant. Their purpose is for special events but they just so happen to serve lunch too so, great! I decided to get the old fashioned cheeseburger because its pretty hard to find a high quality gourmet burger in this town, and let me tell ya, no regrets! It was massive and delivered on taste, texture, aesthetic appeal, and everything in between. The sandwich itself is massive but it also comes with a side salad and fries. The fries are made in-house and are so much better than regular deep fried fast food fries. I got the raspberry vinaigrette dressing for the salad, and it was fantastic. Perfect blend of sweet and sour. Ill be coming back soon to try the fancier stuff like pastas and Paninis

First off, I would just love to say, that Renetta and Mona were there for me and my now husband, through all the details, questions, and concerns all the way up to the actual wedding day! They were great!! Renetta worked with us on the pricing for the ceremony and the reception. For the entire day and night, they include a deposit fee, venue fee, set up and break-down, food, linens, table ware, and ceremony chairs. Extras are alcohol, wedding cake, appetizers and more food options. I went with everything included, and put an allowance towards the bar. The venue itself is incredibly beautiful and quaint. Located right on the Mandalay Canal, its the perfect setting, and the ceremony site is never in the sun!! Perfect especially for couples who live in Irving or Las Colinas, as we did at the time. There is unfortunately not a room to get ready in, but the bathrooms are big enough that you can ( we did!). Worked out perfectly! However, several things. Because it is on the canal, you have to give your guests specific directions, because you have to go down several steps to get to it. Theres also no free parking. We had our guests park in the parking garage next to the venue, and provided $5 bills so they could get out (or you could buy tokens in advance from them, but theres no refund if you over estimate on the number of cars that will be parking). They provide a venue viewing for all the brides after you pay the deposit fee, where you can try some of the foods and drinks, however, its not everything, and you cant taste everything on the menu before the big day. The only thing that really did not sit well with me though was the wait staff on our wedding day. They removed me and my husbands plates way too soon, so we barely got any dinner or cake, and they started breaking down way too early when I still had guests! They took down my decorations without asking me, and basically forced us to start breaking down everything so THEY could leave.

We fell in love with the venue and its surroundings from the moment we got to the venue. The property is really unique and situated on very private canal. Our ceremony was outside and we had no issues with on-lookers or traffic. Sasha, the GM, is exceptional. He made it so easy for us. He delivered on all the promises. There are not many venues that would cater a Russian style wedding, Sasha was super flexible on food, setup/decorations, and time. Sasha worked with us on a custom menu and all of our guests and vendors really enjoyed the enormous amount of food. He is really pleasant to work with and will go out of his way to make sure your special day is perfect! He was always available by phone and met with us every time we were in town. To all the Russian brides in Dallas, you finally have an alternative!
