We love this hospital!! Thank God our insurance covers them. Weve unfortunately visited too many times in the last year and every time we get in quickly and everyone is very nice and cares about your health. The bills are not as astronomical as most hospitals either. Best hospital in the DFW area by far!

I ve brought my children/boyfriend here on a few different occasions over the last couple of years and I always have an amazing experience. From triage to all the staff along the way. Most recently brought my child here for a dog bite and every, single person was so caring while my son and I were a wreck (and even when I couldn t stop being a wreck even though my child had recovered emotionally ). Always quick and helpful! I think there was one time that we came and they were pretty busy (not even two seats together were open). They let us know the situation could wait to be seen by the pediatrician the next day, which was more than enough for me and I appreciated it so much. I can t say I ve ever had decent hospital visits when comparing to here.

I will not be returning here EVER again during the time I was here today. The staff and the security officer on duty were so not pleasant. I arrived at 2:05pm and didn t talk to anyone till 2:45pm for my 1 year old presenting signs of Covid/Flu/Strep. After the nurse took my son s weight, blood pressure and temperature. The nurse gave him Tylenol, then placed us back in the waiting room. We waited in the lobby for 2 and half hours, just for the security officer to tell me my son wasn t deemed medical priority. In my 2 and half hours of being there I watched people come in way less sick than my child go in and leave. I m disgusted with the staffs ability to handle my son. I ve never had a problem until today. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BABIES HERE. Just go wait at Cooks, it might be a longer wait but at least you d be acknowledged.

I absolutely adore this emergency department I always get amazing service and taken care of beyond expectations they re so sweet I ve been several times and honestly EVERY nurse and doctor I ve ever gotten has been excellent. Today my nurse Larry was beyond compassionate and helpful and my doctor Katlin made sure to explain everything to me and took her time doing so.

They took my mother back immediately. DR. LOBLEY was the kindest, most patient Dr. my mom said she had ever seen(and we have seen dozens) and I completely agree. They coordinated with my moms other dr-s. I recommend this facilitys care anytime. Very thorough and no delays in testing or answers.

AMAZING emergency department staff! My son was so nervous. We re new to the area and haven t been able to find a primary doctor that s taking new patients. So, we came here. Every person we came into contact with, were amazing. Dr.. Lowery wasted no time in doing his evaluation, getting blood work, and ultrasound done. The discharge nurse was by far the best nurse I ve ever encountered. We usually don t get the best reactions from people being an interracial family, but that wasn t the case here. Thank so much for the compassionate care. I will never take my family anywhere else.

Delbe Meelhuysen is one of the worst doctors I have encountered. About 6 months ago I had given birth and I had so many crazy symptoms (dizziness, heart issues, etc). She wasn t able to find out what was wrong but instead said I had anxiety. It s all over my discharge paper work too and she gave me some papers on perinatal anxiety. Turns out I have an autoimmune disease causing all of these symptoms!!! Yes, doctors are human. BUT don t label women anxious just because I m a woman that had recently given birth. This is what is wrong with healthcare. I ll never forget how rude she was and how she minimized the way I felt and what I was going through.

Family care is over billing for services, whats the meaning of having an annual physical exam when you cant bring any concern up? Right away theyll bill a new code for an extra office visit. Sergio has a lot to work on with patients - NOT rushing them on consults and billing things that should be included. Annual physicals arent to shake hands and smile. Stop over billing and respect your patients. You all are supposed to heal people, not just to make money!!! Last year that Ill use this place.

Brought my wife here on 1-13-23, yes Friday the 13th. She was having weakness on the right side of her body. They brought us straight back and into a room. The nurse worked quickly and she was taken to have a CT done. After being brought back to her room, the staff worked to get her to Harris Hospital downtown for emergency surgery. Texas Health Burleson Emergency Room is the best emergency room in Burleson. Jenny the nurse and Dr Rucker were the best!

Took my son here to get stitches. FANTASTIC!!! It was on Halloween we got there around 2pm left around 5pm. They were filled to capacity and only had a few drs available but we only had to wait 30-45 min. The nurse that checked his vitals was very transparent about how long we would have to wait and what all was going on. They did an amazing job getting him xrayed and stitched up. Everyone takes their time,listens, is professional, honest and seems to genuinely care about the patients. Love this place and hope it stays this way. Also very convenient location.

Worse emergency room ever. Severe biliary colic attack (gallbladder.) Because they don t have ultrasound imaging onsite (only on call from home at night), they refused to order imaging. They guide treatment decisions based on what services they have onsite instead of what the patient needs. If they had imaging onsite, they would ve ordered. Unethical! Will update with doctor name as soon as I find out as well as file with medical board. Besides that, female doctor was super rude! Clapping her hands with an attitude when I m in severe pain. Wrong profession when patient s pain means nothing to you. I wasn t even asked my history of gallbladder stones or high cholesterol. Nothing. Just practically mocked oh, you were here two weeks ago! I said yes and my doctor thinks it s now gallbladder attack. ER doc could care less. Literally.

Went to this er bc it was the closest to me i was having trouble walking sudden severe head ache different to any head ache i have had before with dizziness and vision trouble I do not feel I was examined properly no neuro work up (despite this being documented in my mychart)no scans sent me home with migraine diagnosis and said i was having vertigo Come to find out it was a stroke!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN

My vehicle was struck by somebody who works in this emergency department as they were leaving the parking lot yesterday evening. Not only did this employee not come to a complete stop when exiting the parking lot OF AN EMERGENCY ROOM, they struck my car that had myself, my husband, and 2 children inside and failed to even ask if my children, or any of us for that matter, were ok. And on top of it all, this person is completely denying responsibility for striking my vehicle. I know this is not a review on the services I received at this hospital, but it makes me question how strictly their employees uphold their vows of ethics and treatment of potential patients because I believe they are expected to uphold those vows both inside and outside of work.

Great staff and very helpful. Made me feel safe and helped me through a severe allergic reaction in January. However, even if you pay the bill in full while still laying in a hospital bed they will send another bill straight to collections. They never posted a bill to their app or website, I even called a couple of months later since I know they sometimes like to charge more at a later date. They wont send you a letter, give a call, send a text, send an email, or anything. The only way to find out you have a past due bill is when the collection agency decides to give you a call. Funny how the collection agency knows how to contact me when Texas Health cant.

Took my wife in today because she was rear-ended in a car accident today. We sat in the waiting room waiting and while in there, this older man was coughing so bad and could hardly breathe. We found out his wife was in there for covid and that s why he was in the waiting room. He was so bad the nurse asked him 3 times if he wanted to go back and see a dr. She was generally concerned. They should of asked him to wait in his car since he had been exposed to covid. Next, my wife was placed in a room with another patient. No privacy at all. We, along with the other patients family, sat there listening to the dr tell that patient her cancer had come back and she needed to be transferred to Harris downtown and needed to see a neurologist. We heard it all! That s a HIPPA violation. That patient heard everything about my wife as well. Finally, a young man was placed in the hallway chair right outside our door. Heard the dr ask what s wrong and he stated he has covid symptoms. Dr said he d be back when the results were back. 10 mins later, dr comes back and tells him he is positive. Still leaves him sitting in the hallway with everyone walking around and close to us because he was literally right outside our door. I was appalled with the way this ER was running. Major HIPPA violations AND exposing everyone to covid by everything I mentioned above. They need to really work on these things. Have a better protocol and procedures plan for the patients who come in with covid symptoms. They need to be isolated from the rest of the patients and staff!! I will not be back there.

Don t go here. On June 26th I was exposed to Covid, however I was wearing a mask and I ve been vaccinated. I had a Covid test last week which was negative. I started coughing this past Monday, which got worse Wednesday. Friday morning 9 days after my initial Covid test I had another one...negative. I m in social work and have been exposed to RSV so I was told to go to the ER to get checked out. Dr. Otto wouldn t listen to me at all. He wanted to blame this on Covid even with 2 negative tests in 9 days and symptomatic for 5 days. He didn t look at my ears or nose, although I said I thought I had a nasty sinus infection. He told me adults couldn t get RSV which is a lie, he would even test me. Had to ask him to look at my throat. No strep test nothing. Just quarantine you have Covid again 2 negative tests! Finally demanded a steroid shot or antibiotic and got the shot, he refused antibiotics. Lord and behold shot has worked and I m better today. Doctor is incompetent.

Was horribly unprofessional, was there early, saw and listened to two employees trash talking other employees while getting coffee, and an outburst by another about something not being his responsibility and he wouldnt do it. Granted, this was late 2019, I dont know if changes were made, I never went back. The therapy session was late, and unproductive.

They have an ER doctor that is the worst. She labeled me a drug seeker when I had osteomyelitis and fractured jaw. If you dont know osteomyelitis is a bone eating infection. I went to the ER TRYING TO FIND OUT EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS.. I couldnt sleep at 2 am due to jaw pain and found out from the oral surgeon it was osteomyelitis. Worst doctor EVER!!!!

Unfortunately, my family has had to make several visits to this ER as well as their other facilities several times over the last several years. We have had nothing but great care and positive interactions with staff. It is tucked a little out of the way so it is typically not crowded, which means you get seen fairly quickly and the staff, in general, is not overwhelmed. This ER connects with THR Harris in Fort Worth which makes dealing with complicated issues a smooth process. My husband has had 3 emergencies that required that he be transferred by ambulance all went quite smoothly. I have had Physical therapy sessions for a shoulder injury (thanks you Amy Farrell), had sonograms, scans and my annual mammograms done here. Again staff has always been friendly, courteous and helpful.

Dropped a glass table on my toe. Busted that toe up pretty bad. They got me a wheelchair at the door. The staff was super efficient and polite. I was a little emotional by the time I got there and no one seemed to be annoyed by that. The doctor was quick and detailed. Someone was constantly coming in to do one thing or the other and check on me. Very good experience.

Doctor could have cared less about my wifes injury, treated her like a criminal, wouldnt listen to her or give her time of day. Wrote script sent her on her way. Very disappointed and no scans or x ray done even with severe bruising black and blue in color whole upper leg from utv roll over, where she was ejected from the vehicle. She could hardly walk, and would not do x ray or scans even when asked to by patient! Will never go back again! Very poor worse treatment ever!!! Now she will sit in pain debating to go to another hospital for a second actual professional look by a doctor who actually cares and listens and gives you the time of day to explain what happened and why your there. This place is the worst we ve been treated by any medical dept by far.

I picked up my girlfriend from work and came to the er here.she was in a lot of pain and the nurses and doctors were amazing got my girls pain under control. Ms.Apryl was an absolute angel. As we were being triaged the intake nurse who is male and bald was pretty rude as to our arrival my daughter had a Hoover board accident and I with ear pain (yes something small could ve gone to our drs but I work during dr times) but she was adamant she be seen and have a dr tell her she d be fine anywho the triage nurse was shaking his head in dismay and stating what a waste of resources we were!!! Not once but 4 times to my daughter ! How s that his concern we have insurance nothing will be left unpaid and if anything she is triple insured by far the worst feeling ever to feel degraded in such a way for no reason and towards a innocent child I m upset I didn t get his name I will call corporate and file a formal complaint!

Our nurse was amazing and very caring as she always is but whoever was the male admit nurse on 7/1/2019 had an unnecessary attitude with my child who was admitted for asthma. He may want to educate himself on the side effects of albuterol because he talked to my son with a smart attitude when my son questioned about if he would be recieving a shot or not. Who catches an attitude with a 8 year old child experiencing jitters from medication? Learn some compassion and patience or chose another profession.

I would never go back here. While the staff was friendly, everything I am receiving now in bills is absolutely frustrating. During the middle of my visit after the doctor had already said what tests pretty much they were doing the girl with billing came in and got information and asked about payment and insurance. I told her I was uninsured and would pay a portion of it today she proceeded to tell me the bill estimation for everything. She told us that it would be about $1400.00 for the visit not including the DRs bill which we completely understood. After the quote she gave us I went ahead and payed $600 to them in cash and have been waiting to get the final bill. Well, finally the bill has made it... the estimation SKYROCKETED from $1400 to a WHOPPING $3200!!! Leaving with no answers was disappointing once again but now stacking a bill for $3200 on it after being quoted different is just a gut punch. The best part of it all is that two days later I visited my primary care doctor and told him my exact symptoms as explained to the ER and basically the conclusion came to be over hydration. Within a day all my symptoms started to decrease and by three days later I was back to my normal self. My doctor told me that any person at the ER should of told me the amount of fluids I was drinking was way too much and the only response they gave me was to in fact KEEP drinking enough fluids. If in emergency again I will definitely be going to the other location that is not in affiliation with Texas Health as they will scam you every way possible.

Im not one that ever does reviews quite often. But I knew these great people needed to be recognized for all there hard work and efforts. My appointment was at 9am for my annual mammogram. As I entered Lauren, Blake who were standing at the entrance/front desk immediately welcomed me with smiles and guided me to registry. Rosa, Alexis at registry were both very nice ladies who made sure registration was quick and easy. My wait time was five minutes after registration Wow!!! I have to say I was pretty shocked these kind of appointments almost always take at least an hour before being called. So when I was sent back to see Karen whom welcomed me with a smile and explained what I needed to do to prepare for my exam she was very informative through the whole process. A special thanks to such a amazing team. And to the young lady who gave me an awesome massage. I had to make sure this wonderful team did not go without being recognized for there friendly customer service, outstanding professionalism. My overall experience was great.

The lady Dr. That was at this er tonight is excellent!!! So caring and gave alot of information and has a great bedside manner. This is an excellent hospital full of very caring and nice people. My name is Leslie Franks and my son went in to the hospital with a nail in his foot. I was outside smoking and went to QT that across the street as I walk out the store headed back I saw security guard open my son truck for no reason he didnt have the right to due so. My son walk out hunting and I ask him why was the security guard in his truck he said that he was looking for me and he went through my son private stuff. And he told me about the nurse that was rude and she was asking about where his son out like it was her business. And my son has been up all night screaming in pain and he having a hard time sleeping. And I ask him if he wants me to take him to the hospital and he saying no cause what has happening there at this ER. Its wrong

PT clerical staff lacks customer service and compassion. When they have upset someone instead of trying to resolve the issue and try make things right. They call an army of staff & security to surround you. If you try to explain the issue at hand then the staff will walk away from you while you are in mid-sentence. Then ultimately no matter what you re at fault according to them! Crappy customer service! Rhonda s the rudest of them all!

Just got back from visit. The doctors and staff were really nice. It wasnt busy so I was in and out within 45 minutes. Doctor was nice, she answered all my questions. She didnt rush and had excellent bedside manner. The facility was kept really clean also. Definitely recommend if you need care but dont want to sit in the hospital ER all night.

Had a horrible experience. I brought my daughter in for her legs she had a whole lot of bumps and redness on them. They saw us and glanced at her legs for 1 second and said it was heat rash and sent us on our way. Well lets just say 2 weeks passed and it was only getting worse and spreading got to the point where it was bleeding. So we took her to cooks childrens instead this time only to find out she had gotten infantigo. Because that so called heat rash was eczema and it went untreated cause i was told it was heat rash and it turned into infantigo. Needless to say i am not happy with them at all!

N bp was elevated early Wow i guess i can say I agree with the lady under me could have got better treatment at a pet Hospital or maybe a firehouse sitting here making a report I was thinking to myself maybe I should just apologize for being black maybe Im the wrong color to get the right service however Im the right color to make the right complaint I will continue to make complaints until the complaints are dealt with in a way where I feel that I have been treated as though I am a human being just like any other person in Burleson or Cleburne I pay rent to live in this area just as though they do I work just as though they do I have health insurance I have health problems just as they do but I guess everything is not just so simple its not just white and black its who is better than who or who know someone to be treated as a human being... Very disappointed. Went there for my first appointment and they had my insurance coverage that had an HRA. But their method is to take the total number of visits and calculate what the cost would be. Then the last thing they take is the money out of the HRA. Every other place will take the money from the HRA before they charge the patient but here, they want all your money before they will draw from the HRA. The whole reason for HRAs (at lease from the patients perspective) if to offset the high deductible plan. Companies offer a plan with a high deductible so they can have a lower cost but make it up to their employees by offering the HRA. So when THR demands all your money before they bill to the HRA they are defeating the whole system. This is so disappointing since I got my diagnosis, I had been waiting to talk with someone regarding my situation with so many questions. Care was great. Comments made by the female doctor I had towards my family WAS NOT SO GREAT. She insulted my husband due to his age and it was very unappreciated. This has always been my number one place to go since they have opened, but never have a been so insulted by a doctor. I hope she thinks twice about making another uneducated comment towards any family she does not know. However, those nurses were wonderful.

Staff is amazing. But I refuse to go there if Adams is the Dr. He has no bedside manner and is very rude. I miscarryied ed while I was there and he made jokes about me no longer being pregnant. The nurses appoligized and couldnt believe what he was saying. He was supposed to be reported. I honestly cant believe he is still there. My family and I will go to Baylor ER. When he is the Dr!!

I had to go to Texas Health Burleson after my own surgeon, Dr. Neef, Refused to see me. So I went in to THB, and was in a room within about 8 minutes. The Nurse, Marsha and the Tech/Student Nurse Moriah came in, did their thing, very very nice...the tech got my IV in on the 1st try and it didnt even hurt! (When I went to huguley for surgery, it took 1 nurse and 2 anesthesiologists, 6 tries to get 1 IV, and the nurse blew the first one causing permanent nerve damage..thanks huguley), the Student Nurse Moriah, got it immediately! So Then Dr. Robert Genzel came in and had the BEST and MOST compassionate bedside manner (he was so comforting, he knew I was scared and was absolutely AMAZING)! He ordered a CT Scan, which was done and everything came back with an hour. Dr. Genzel came in and explained my diagnosis, answered my questions and was literally one of the nicest Doctors I have ever met! THANK YOU to Dr. Genzel, my Nurse Marsha and my Tech/Nursing student Moriah. They all treated me with compassion, kindness and respect...Huguley, you need to take some notes!!!

Every single time my girlfriend has come here. The staff has taken very good care of her. While one of the times they couldnt treat her because this facility didnt have the proper machines. Thus last time. They found a solution for her head. Found out she has complex migraines. And the doctor this time did some in depth research to try to find a solution. And luckily it worked. I hate hospitals. But this place i have no problems with.

So far we have been here for almost 2 hours with my 3 year old daughter who is vomiting every few minutes and running a temp but STILL has yet to be seen. All that has came through here are druggies wanting their fix. What a shame.

I would rate my experience a 0 star but I am unable to do so. I went to the er for help. I have highly active Sarcoidosis, it is very similar to cancer. I had just refilled my script for xanax ans somehow lost it on the way home. I think I left in the grocery cart. Within a day i was going through bad withdrawals..I explained to the doctor what was going on and he did some blood work and could tell I was going through a bad time with it. I had to stay there two hours to replenish electrolytes and something else that goes along with withdrawals. When I was getting ready to leave, instead of giving me a new script he basically called me an addict and wrote ma a script for two days worth of ativan and said to call my psychiatrist about the problem. Thanks foe nothing except costing me a fortune.Obviously my Psych Doc is not going to believe me either so now Im stuck in a rock and a hard place. Not all people who have a serious disease are liar and drug addicts. Im just a Christian trying to get some help.

My father was found unresponsive April 10 the ambulance was going to transport him to Huguley but he was so critical they opted to take him to Harris ER ( Joshua/Burleson) to try and get him stabilized. They worked on him and got him stable enough to be careflighted to Huguley where he was put on life support. Today because of prayer and their quick response and knowledge my father is still with us. Thank you!
