I went during the week during lunch hour and entering the place the restaurant was nice and bright with all of the sun coming in through the windows. The decor and atmosphere was light and refreshing and the hostess was at the stand to greet us and take us to our table. I will say if I was any bigger, fitting into that one person booth would ve been uncomfortable. They had a pretty good lunch special for $15 that included an appetizer and meal option. I got the banh xeo (Vietnamese crepe) and I thought it was pricey for what I got. It should ve been filled with shrimp and pork but I couldn t find any pork in it and the shrimp was scarce. There was though a good amount of vegetables to fill the crepe though.

I had a great time with my fiancée when we went out for a date last night. The food and hot sake was delicious!! Beautiful ambience when you walk in and all around the restaurant. The only thing that bothered me was that our server was also the bartender. And due to her responsibilities behind the bar we found ourselves flagging every other server down for the things we needed for our table: chopsticks, sriracha sauce, drinks, etc. It was uncomfortable for me because I don t like bothering others who were obviously busy with their own tables. I would recommend management review their staffing and make sure that they properly staff a bartender so that the wait staff doesn t have to effectively be in two places at the same time. Which isn t humanly possible, and caused sub par customer service to patrons.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the Fort Worth area. The food is fantastic, and the ambiance is trendy and inviting. The service is excellent, depending on your rapport with the staff. This isnt your typical Vietnamese restaurant. The atmosphere is vibrant, making it a perfect spot for young people to explore Vietnamese cuisine while enjoying drinks and socializing. The food is exceptional, featuring a unique American twist on traditional Vietnamese dishes. It would enhance the experience if the menu included Vietnamese names for the dishes, like bún bò hu , with accented marks. Coincidentally, Vy N, a staff member, served my table on both occasions I visited. Her service was outstanding, and she swiftly translated some dishes that werent listed in Vietnamese, helping us recognizing what those dishes were in theirs actual Vietnamese origin. Overall, I m thrilled to have discovered this place!

This was an unpleasant experience. Ive waited a week to review in the how Id the poor memories and frustrated experiences to dull with time. Its overly expensive for what it is and where its at. A single piece of eel on my sushi cost 4 dollars, for example. I wont bag on the waiter. He was fine but seemed uncertain at every question we asked. His honesty and demeanor made us for that enough to receive an extra star. Even more, almost 10 days later, Im still incredibly disappointed with this place. Miss Saigons on the other side of the mall has great Pho and Vietnamese dishes. Im sure there are plenty of other sushi options, too, which are great. No part of this experience was pleasant enough to want to visit again. I enjoyed the Furrs that this replaced better.

After we visited here once, and we visited again the same week for Friday cocktails. They have pho, vermicelli bowls, fried rice, lemongrass chicken.. Our favorites were their pork or beef options because they are juicier. We were also very surprised by their cocktails. Great ideas and execution. Yes, on sweeter side, and strong But no hangover the next day. Win-win!!!! Very good staff. Despite how busy they are, they do a great job.

Great food with lovely vegetarian options. They have a mix of a few Asian dishes, with good pho, fried rice, sushi, as well as good boba and tea. I enjoyed their tofu vermicelli and my partner had a great time with Vs tower (although it was a bit heavy and spicy, and not vegetarian). I have yet to enjoy avocado sushi, and the same is true here. The coconut milk tea was lovely, even the next day.

My favorite local Vietnamese restaurant! amazing beef pho that I will often order to go for a comfort food, but dining here is exceptional. The first time we came here I knew very little about pho and was excited to try the hot pot. Our waiter Noah was so helpful and kind. I ve had the hot pot pho, shaken beef, beef deluxe pho, amazing egg rolls, sushi, cocktails and everything here has been great. Great chill atmosphere also. Love this place.

Food was literally amazing. I highly recommend the grilled pork spring rolls. I also got the shaken beef and the beef was sooooo tender, literally melted in my mouth. Food was 10/10. If I had to make any complaint, the table/chairs (specifically the booths) were a little too low to the ground. For tall people like myself, this caused a little knee pain. It was ignored the moment the food arrived. Highly recommend this restaurant. Try it and make sure you tell your friends and family too!

A favorite local restaurant of mine! Staff is so friendly and helpful, the restaurant is very clean, and food is great. My husband and I often visit for date night, and we have also been here with my kids in tow for birthday/Mother s Day dinners. I love the sushi and the stir fried noodles, and can t go wrong with spring rolls! Parking: Tons of parking. The restaurant sits at the back of a large lot. Have never had issues parking close to the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: My kids have come here with us since they were 1 & 2 years old. I don t think there s a kid menu, but mine generally do fine with fried rice and egg rolls. The staff is always kind to my kids and they never seem bothered by our bringing them, or by how we take over a table with coloring books and crayons for them lol

My favorite Pho spot. The atmosphere is heavenly, everyone is so nice and the menu is impeccable. There are plants all around the restaurant, which I love so much as I m a huge plant lady. I usually get a regular beef pho with extra eye round steak and a strawberry mango boba. The broth is very flavorful and the boba is cooked just right. 10/10 Update: I typically spend the $4 and order extra eye round beef. I don t expect the whole cow, but the amount I received today was laughable. If I m paying extra, I expect extra. Parking: The parking lot is huge as it s located in a big shopping center. I ve never had an issue parking here.

Exceptional attention to detail, well-trained and attentive staff, and delicious food. The restaurant was busy when we arrived Friday evening, but we had no wait, our food came in a perfectly reasonable amount of time, and most importantly: everything was good! This restaurant has everything I enjoy in a restaurant, its clean, classy and comfortable. The hostess is always kind and personal, she makes you feel like you are coming home to have a meal with family and friends. The wait staff always gets it right. This is a great team of people. Now the food and drinks are divine. I went back in less than a week after my first time. Family flew into town and it was a no brainer to go to Vs to impress and dine well. It was one of the first places my girlfriend and I visited for a Date night when we moved to town. It was also where we celebrated a Professional Win. That being said, the immediacy with which Management displays to close a full restaurant continues to be a major disappointment. They will cut the lights on, and begin cleaning and breaking down the bar and other tables while tables are enjoying a post dinner drink. If there is a long wait for your dish... They will continue to encourage you to leave the establishment by cleaning up around you. I love the food, but will have to find another place for date night. The One star for service is for Management, not the actual servers.

The food here was really good. We actually tried several dishes but devoured them before I got pictures. The egg rolls were tasty and kind of reminded me of lumpia, the grilled pork skewers were soooo tender, the dumplings were good, the grilled pork and grilled beef spring rolls had a juicy charring from the grill and finally I also had the spicy beef noodle soup. Which was flavorful and pleasantly not uber spicy. Speaking of spicy, the carrots you see on the skewer plate are marinated/pickled? in a jalapeño juice or something. So, be sure you or your kids can tolerate heat before adventuring to taste those. For desert we shared creme brulee (my fav dessert of all time and eternity) and would def eat that again multiple times and we also shared the beignets. The beignets were tasty and warm but could have used some ice cream or a something with them. All in all, a very enjoyable meal!! Sorry Noodles@ Boba Tea House, I think we just got converted.

Food is great but I was annoyed that they wouldn t let me buy sake to go. They obviously don t know that Abbott changed the law during Covid and then made it permanent. Here is the info for you. Texas law now allows alcohol to go from restaurants after Gov. Greg Abbott signs bill. House Bill 1024 allows beer, wine and mixed drinks to be included in pickup and delivery food orders, securing a revenue stream made available to restaurants during the pandemic when their dining areas were forced to close.

My husband and I went here for the first time for dinner and we were impressed from the moment we walked in. We had actually intended to eat at another sushi place but they didnt have a table so we went here instead and wow Im glad we did! The atmosphere of this place is beautiful with its lighting and calming color palette/decor. We were seated immediately and even though they were busy, it didnt feel super crowded or loud. We sat at a very small booth table despite being offered a table instead (we opted for the little table because there was only 2 of us and we didnt want to take away a larger table in case a larger party came in and needed one) but it still had room for what we ordered and was comfy. Bathrooms are clean and have multiple stalls plus baby changing stations and the tables are cleaned quickly after diners leave to make way for new guests. The service was polite, fast, and informative making ordering super easy, especially since we were first time diners. The Staceys Mom roll was AMAZING, the egg rolls were crispy and flavorful, but the entrees stole the night. My husband got the combo meal with shrimp, chicken, beef, noodles, and veggies and I got the shaken beef (I believe this is the name). Both were delicious! Beef melts in your mouth and the flavors dance on your tongue. Portion sizing was good for the price, for example mine was ~$16.50 and was filled with the perfect amount of meat and rice to justify the price. Drinks are prepared at the bar and brought to table, I enjoyed the mocktail blueberry even though I dont usually enjoy sour/tart, but it made it almost taste like I was still drinking alcohol which was kind of fun. My husband wasnt too happy with his long island but honestly hes a bit picky about how he likes them so I dont think hes the fairest judge for those who arent as picky. Overall we loved this place and plan on returning here for many more meals!

Came here on recommendation of a poker player at my club. So stoked I finally got to come in for lunch. Hostess Michelle greeted me with a smile. She got me excited to try the sushi as She showed me to a seat at the bar. Ordered 2pork rolls ($6), steamed pork dumplings ($10), tempura shrimp with avocado roll ($11), ginger peach bourbon smash ($12). The bartender, Margarita, pours a delicious drink!!! I wish I could have another! Food was served hot, fast and delicious by Eric whom also helped me pick an additional dipping sauce for my egg rolls after informing me that mustard wasn t available. That guy deserves a raise! I was also able to use my UPSIDE app to get 15%cash back from my bill.

My wife is from Vietnam and she says this is not only the best Vietnamese food in America, it rivals the best in Vietnam too. As for me, I think their sushi is the best Ive ever had. The service is consistently excellent every time we come (with a special nod to Deylon, our server on Valentines Day). Everything about this restaurant is top notch. Were customers for life!

We loved V s House. Not sure why we took so long to try it. The food was excellent, our server, Noah was wonderful. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. We will definitely be back. Do yourself a favor, be sure to try the fried dumplings!

My daughter found this wonderful Asian place. The food is delicious and the service is great! We had so much fun celebrating lunar new year and the owner had dragon dancers perform. So much fun!

We ordered a mocktail as someone in our party has been sober for over a year and they gave her the alcoholic version in error. She even questioned the drink after trying it and asked them to verify with the bartender three times because the few little sips didn t sit right. After our apps came out they came over to say it was sent to us in error and was indeed served with alcohol We asked for our check and left without dinner. The person going through sobriety was extremely down at this point and with good reason. Spoke to the manager and suggested the following: Buy different glasses for servers to distinguish the difference between mocktails and cocktails. You could also have different garnishments to help. Please understand it s not okay to give alcoholic drinks to guests who could have been underage or are going through sobriety just because you can t tell the difference. Highly disappointed and please be more aware when serving guests. They completely ruined our experience. Just paid for our drinks and apps then left. Apps were good.. drinks no bueno..

I was pleasantly surprised about how good the food was. It is a feast for both your eyes, and your stomach, great portions (not too small, but also not overfeeding) and the service was amazing. This place is my new favorite restaurant. I will definitely come here again. Dietary restrictions: Willing to accommodate food allergies, and has gluten free and vegetarian options and mocktails available for those who dont drink alcohol.

Food is pretty good in comparison to noodle house except the meat is a bit dry in the vermicelli. The pho is comparable, but the sushi isn t that great. The drinks are phenomenal, the service is great as well as the environment.

I ve been interested in taking wife for date night, but decided to try lunch 1st. I was surprised by the nice interior decor/lighting considering the older strip mall & low income neighborhood. Sat at the bar figuring it was a Sushi serving bar. Completely ignored by bartender; no water, greeting or anything. Instead she went to the far side of the dining room to hang out with friends. It wasn t very busy, you d think they would be attentive to guests. Eventually, I left without eating & went to my usual Sushi bar. It s a shame; the owner invested alot into this location & the staff is squandering his investment.

I am out of state and ordered online so that chicken pho could be delivered to my daughter, home sick with a 5 month old who was also sick. Doordash picked up the order and then cancelled the delivery. Manager James at Vs House was under no obligation to take action as Vs House had done their part, but he provided replacement pho at no additional cost to us (and, in fact, at his own expense which he would not allow me to reimburse). My daughters friend picked the pho up on the way home from work and my daughter enjoyed the flavor and healing properties very much! I am blown away by James caring and concern!! I am a big believer in the saying how you do anything is how you do everything. We will be returning to Vs House on our next visit and if the rest of the menu is as special as the service and the pho, we will be visiting Vs House every time we are in Texas!!

Pardon my etiquette... but after having received permission of the chef, the picture speaks for itself. I ordered 3 items. The first was in front of me in a matter of moments after placing my order and thus disappeared just as quickly. These two arrived simultaneously and therefore deserved the recognition of their excellence. Elvin is a spectacular chef, always willing to please, according to your personal preference. 10+ visits without a miscue makes this my favorite sushi pad in DFW.

Update: very disappointing to go order experience. We order often but this time miscommunication left us with raw meat. I had no idea restaurants could even send out raw meat. It will be a while before I order from here again. Customer service was just not that great and wasted 17.00 on this order. Unbelievably GOOD! My daughter has tried to get me on the Pho wagon for years. I ve not been a fan until today. I ordered the brisket pho. The broth was so delicious and the noodles had a wonderful texture. The service was outstanding too. Thai did a wonderful job making us feel welcome. And the atmosphere is intimate and trendy. It s set up so each table is fairly private. This is close to home and I look forward to being a regular!! We will definitely be back!

Met a co worker here and when i walked in a saw the owner of Bison Coolers, A local company making excellent products. He spoke very highly of Vs. I took his advice and ordered a big bowl of pho and a side of edamame. The pho was very good. Broth very good and meat as well. The service was fantastic. My only issue was that i ordered an Ice Tea and it came out in like a highball or old fashioned glass. Probably a 6 oz glass. I have never had that little amount of ice tea before in an order. I thought maybe it was just the ice tea as my co worker ordered a beer and he got a normal beer glass, but i asked for then a glass of water and that too came out in a small glass. Other than that it was a very good meal and a great little spot.

We love this place! The atmosphere is aesthically pleasing. The food comes out fast and hot! I usually get the Beef Pho and chicken pot stickers. My husband likes the pork vermicelli. I believe the beef broth is one of the best Ive ever had. Everyone knows the broth is the best part. Vs House nailed it!

First time going here and excited for happy hour. We ordered an appetizer and after eating it waited about 15 minutes for our waitress to come by for our order. Happy hour ends at 5:30 and she finally came over at exactly that time. We were planning to order sushi during happy hour and asked if the happy hour prices would be honored since it was 5:30 on the dot. She went to check with the manager and said no, it would be full price. This was very frustrating since the only reason we hadn t ordered was because she had been missing and showed up right when it ended. On top of that, our entire bill was full price. So no happy hour discounts were applied. We thought our appetizer and drinks would be charged at the happy hour discount since those were ordered far ahead of the cut off. We will not be returning. Us not being able to order sushi at happy hour pricing seemed intentional. Plus the whole meal being full price. I guess if you don t finish eating and check out before 5:30 happy hour does not apply. Bad service.

I came to Vs House last Friday (Dec 15) and ordered the spider roll sushi, banh xeo, beef pho and a drink. Compared to other Vietnamese restaurants Vs House is a tier above the average hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant. The prices are reasonable, food is delicious, would recommend to anyone who is wanting to try a great Asian restaurant. Solid 4 / 5 stars 1 Star Quality is bad / Would not recommend 2 Star Food is decent / Would not come back 3 Star Food is good / Would probably eat here again 4 Star Food is great / Would recommend 5 Star Food is excellent / Would highly recommend

My wife and I were treated to Sunday lunch by our daughter and her fiance from North Carolina. This was our first time to have Vietnamese food. Our server was very friendly and explained some items. This was our first time to visit Vs House. Driving up to the restaurant, I was impressed with the size of the patio and the all the Christmas decorations. You can tell they went all out with the decorating. It was somewhat busy for a tuesday night after 7:30p, so there was a 10+ minute wait. But it gave me the time to look at how nice the bar and the open front kitchen looked. You could sit at a bench in front of the kitchen and wat them cook if you want. lots of seating at the bar. They have a sushi bar as well, and everything looked fresh. Overall, the restaurant is very nice looking and inviting. They may have been a little short on wait staff, as it took a while to get drinks ordered. But between waiting for the waitperson and then waiting for her to return, there was plenty of time to review the extensive menu. Everything looked really good and we wanted to try it all. Food was really good overall. Apps that we ordered included, steamed pork dumplings, steamed shrimp dumplings, and the Banh khot with shrimp. All quite tasty and the dumpling sauces tasted great. We ordered a roll with yellowtail that seemed fresh, some salmon nigiri. Veggie and tofu fried rice was pretty tasty and Huge, but could use more seasoning. Spicy beef noodle bow was Huge as well, and had lots of thinly sliced meats with some interesting think rice noodle. Broth was little weak, but all the chili oils and onion helped boost the flavors. I had to add some soy/dumpling sauce to pull a little more flavor from the broth. Regardless, it was huge and along with the fried rice, I know we have at least 2 more meals out of it. with all the apps, and a beer and a cocktail and a soda, the bill was over $100, not including tip. overall, very nice and I definitely plan to return. There are not many Asian restaurants around that have a bar, so this one is now on the list for some more dinners with drinks.
