I am having problems with my return that they filed.I got a call back today. The rep literally screamed the whole time I was on the phone with her. She blames me for my return not been right. She tells me I didnt pay for the peace of mind guarantee. I paid for my taxes to be done by a tax professional. Now I am facing a possible audit and fees from April 15 until I can get an appointment in a local office in August. Then she hung up on me without regard. Will not be returning to H R Block piss poor customer service.

I would have put zero stars if i could! Ive been using this location for years and yesterday was the first time that i had problems here. I made an appointment on-line two days in advance, confirmed the morning of said appointment. I get there 5 minutes early. the receptionist tells me that she canceled my app. because I didnt call back the day before! Three tax experts in the back and no other customers in front. Couldnt/wouldnt squeeze me in. basically telling me that Im $#!+ outta luck. I wont be back to this location!

Went into H&R block to have taxes prepared as tax preparer was about to send them through rapid refund advance a note stated we still owed H&R block back from 2019. We told them how could that be since we filed in 2020 and 2021 and there were no preparation fees owed then. We also contacted the office where we filed the year of 2019 and got a receipt from them showing we had paid H&R block in full to prepare our taxes. No one new how to get this off our records in order for us to file for a Rapid refund. It would help if H&R block had knowledgeable staff that could resolve issues like this.

This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had , most incompetent and rude employees and the manager is just as bad . I had a very simple return it was for 2020 and I had not filed it my husband had passed away in August 2020 so I new that I could not e-file so to make sure it was properly filed I went to H& R Block because I had talked to them and they reassured me that they were still able to E/File with their system for a few more weeks so that is the only reason I chose to take it to them . I normally E-File my taxes myself but I wanted to make sure it was correct since my husband had passed away . I took copies of all paperwork etc . I was there maybe 10 minutes I paid cash and I was promised it was correct . I never signed anything and I even ask the lady when I was paying if she was sure I did not need ti sign the return and I was told No your good you don t have anything to sign I ask several times and was repeatedly to that they had it on file and I told her I had never been in the office but she still said that I was good .Anyway the following week I called Monday and after 2 or 3 calls was finally told it was rejected , but no one could tell me why so they said it was refiled so Monday , Tuesday ,Wednesday and Thursday they told me everyday that they filed it again 5 times think about that . The manager told me I just needed to come pick it up and Mail it so I went to office on Sat to pick it up and the receptionist verified that they did not have any signatures on file for me or my deceased husband . Anyway the lady that prepared it s name was on it as the preparer and I ask if she needed to sign it I was told know and the manager then signed her name so it a typed name and a different signature on it!!!!! Anyway this was on November the 5th,2022 ! I still have not received my tax refund !!!!! Now I was issued a check from H & R Block for the fees I was charged and the check is issued to my deceased husband my name is not on the check so I called and was told to take a copy of his death certificate to the bank evidently we should have a joint account and I would be able to cash it (WHAT ) it is 2023 and he has been gone for over 2 years I think they are all crazy ! AnywY I could go on but I will spare anymore details !! I hope nobody else has to experience what I have !

Went to H&R Block for tend first time ever and it was terrible. I told the rep over and over that I was eligible for a tax credit for buying my house and she insisted I didn t have one. I went home and came back with my entire closing documents to show her I did and still didn t even bother to add my tax credit to my return. To double and triple check, I contacted my loan officer AND my realtor that was present at closing and they both confirmed that I did and even pointed out the page in the closing docs where it was stated. I pic $220 for my taxes to not be done properly and now I have to pay more to get my taxes amended because the Rep didn t listen or bother to look at my closing docs. Needless, to say because of COVID, I m still in the process of trying to get my taxes amended to get my tax credit that was an incentive for buying the house when I did. She also kept referring to Trump as your uncle , every time I asked a question that she said wouldn t apply to me. I work in corporate taxes and I asked a few questions and she would say your uncle doesn t allow that anymore or because of - your uncle isn t wouldnt give that to you. Smh Never again!!

Service was great. The representative was very knowledgeable and helpful. The receptionist was polite, timely and courteous. My only complaint is the price for the service. I went in thinking 150 for a normal tax return. i had a couple 1099Rs, 2 1099 misc, and a 1099 div and was thinking 250 and would have been happy there. 550 dollars later and, while the service was professional and competent, was about twice what i was expecting to pay. It seems the price went up 100 bucks for every 1099 he had to copy information from. Great service, over priced IMO.

Horrible service!!! Would not recommend this location. They had to amend my taxes and that was fine but I was told that the amended portion would be mailed to me since I had went there to pick it up one day when they were supposed to be open 3pm until 7pm and I got there around 6pm and they were already closed- no sign on the door or anything. Mind you, this was very much out of my way distance wise from my work. The manger at the time (Amy Rosales) then assured me it would be sent regular mail to me. This was over 2 months ago and I have still not received it! Throughout the 2 months time, Ive called and spoke to multiple people with no resolution, most of them seemingly clueless. Mailing a document, I suppose, is the most difficult part of their job. Absolutely horrible customer service and sheer laziness.

We are always in and out. The lady that does our taxes is super knowledgeable and gives us tips to file correctly and what to keep an eye on. I just love coming here it like going to see a family member once a year honestly. It doesnt even feel like getting your taxes done.
