*Edit* I lowered the rating from 5 stars to 2. I actually ordered twice this week. Hunan Chicken and Mongolian chicken. Both are supposed to be spicy as it says on the menu and even after ordering both extra, extra spicy, it was still just bland and sweet. I may give this place one more shot in the future but for now, I am still looking for my neighborhood chinese restaurant unfortunately. *original* Beautiful, clean restaurant, with excellent customer service. Food was great. I had the hunan chicken, which I always do the first time trying a Chinese place, and it was really good. Im reserving great because I wanted a little more spice or kick to the sauce and the chicken tasted like it was slightly velveted. Overall, very good. What stood out on top of the good food was the service. I called in my order and the young woman was exceptionally attentive and she mirrored that when I picked up the order. I just moved here and I found my Chinese restaurant.

DISGUSTED ! Ordered from this location and found a whole cooked ROACH in our fried rice. I m so disappointed that this has happened to my family, we don t feel comfortable ordering takeout anymore. Please pay more attention to this In the future no one wants to find ROACHES in their food. UPDATE Calling the health department this was not RICE, EGG, SOY SAUCE OR FOOD! I have a video of the employee agreeing, picking up the ROACH he brought and apologizing for it being in our food. We all can see the ROACHES RIB CAGE, fried ROACH LEGS and a ROACH HEAD!!!! I was offered a refund and your employee removed ALL of the ROACH food. We felt sick after almost eating this and finding it in our half eaten rice! Do not play with peoples intelligence this is disgusting. The only thing we should be getting is an apology nothing was need to discredit the situation.

Would be 5 star if they had egg rolls and would fix whatever mess they do to the Crab Ragoon its probably one of the worst ones Ive ever had and Ive been to 40 states in the US and some outside the US. The food and delivery service from Imperial China are amazing. We order delivery every weekend and have never been disappointed. We have enjoyed ever item we have ordered. The black bean chicken, spicy chicken, Chicken curry and Thai chicken with basil are very delicious. Unlike other Chinese restaurants we have eaten at, these dishes are loaded with lots of chicken, instead of being mostly corn and broccoli with a few pieces of chicken thrown in. Its the same with the shrimp and beef dishes we have tried. Delivery is very fast and cost is just $1 extra with no surcharge on any of the menu items. Vegetarian options: The eggplant is outstanding. The restaurant is good at accommodating special requests like no MSG etc.

Very underwhelming. Overcooked chicken smothered in overly sweet sauces. Had 2 different dishes and they both taste exactly the same. Veggies in the orange and sesame chicken, which they charge extra for, obviously from a frozen medley mix. Fried rice is very brown, but has little flavor. Called to see if I could bring it back for a partial refund or swap for some eggrolls or SOMETHING, but the staff said hes pretty sure thats how the food is supposed to be. Just go to the mall or the little restaurant in Walmart. Even the food court Chinese is better than this. $36 for 2 subpar entrees. Enjoy.

Can t beat the amount of food AND taste for the price here. It was out first time trying it out and we re impressed with the portions and that the food tasted really good! We got the Mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken, lemon chicken, pad Thai, and crab Rangoons. All were very good! I d just make sure you get plastic ware or chopsticks prior to leaving. Wish I had pics to share but we kinda got home and started digging in right away!

Excellent food at reasonable prices with great service. We have been visiting this restaurant for years and though COVID had made dining in a bit of a challenge, the food and service remained consistently great throughout. We have tried many items since we started eating here years ago and everything we tried is delicious. Glad that they were able to stay in business during these challenging times. Update: Went for lunch today, same great service, same great food. Limited seating available for dine-in. Order to go if you dont want to risk it, the food comes in the same container if you dine-in or to go.

My family has been patronizing this business for a very long time, >10 years or thereabouts. Not only has the quality of the food deteriorated over time, but, the attitude of new staff is completely rude, crude, and unacceptable. A couple of days ago, ( Friday July 23rd ) we were shopping next door at Krogers, the wife decide to go over and order food that we would pick up after we were done shopping, there was a much younger Asian male than the staff we usually see there. My wife approached to order when the guy basically sticks his index finger in her face and yells stay back, I dont know what you have!!!! Really nasty tone of voice too, maybe it is a cultural thing to yell at people and command them like dogs, but this is not the way to talk to anyone. We were both masked, never even came within 9 feet of this guy, his demeanor was ugly, I understand precautions that they may want to take due to covid, but here is the kicker. How were we to pay him, order our food, receive our food from them if they are so paranoid and rude?? Then again, we are to trust them to prepare our food??? Maybe they know something we dont, we do however know this, it took no time to find several other Chinese restaurants in the area where the staff was friendly and the food was just as good or better. No one needs to put up with rude service from any business that has a disrespectful attitude towards customers. Our business will never again go to this restaurant. By the way, while he yelled at us and was completely out of line when he implied we were sick or infected people, both my wife and I are military veterans and thus vaccinated against more diseases ( covid included ) than 99% of the the Worlds population, the young Asian fellow ..... Perhaps not as well protected, but preparing our food, No thanks!

I love Imperial China! Their food is so good. I love their beef and broccoli and noodles. They have big portions. I recently had to lay off sodium so I ordered the healthy veggies and chicken and veggies and beef. The meat was so tender with just enough flavor for a satisfying meal. Disappointing experience. Item ordered was missed by employee that answered phone. When order was delivered, I called back to request missing item, which was not on the receipt and I fully expected to pay for, I spoke with another employee who was more than accommodating and willing to deliver missing item to complete our daughter s meal. Within minutes I received call back from the second employee that I spoke with and he stayed the his boss refused to deliver missing item. We are new to the area and were referred by our neighbor, this was our first order. When I make a mistake, I admit I ve made a mistake. Super unprofessional. Not greeted upon entry, chairs are blocking off the cashier like they don t want you to walk past it. Apple Pay is promised, but doesn t work and a lot of joking around going on 1/4 at 9:30PM. An employee laughed in my face when Apple Pay wasn t working. So, I went back and fourth with myself tonight, trying to determine what I wanted to eat for dinner. After going online and searching a few restaurants in the area, I decided to try Imperial China Cafe . I looked at the reviews and seen a good mixture of comments, but for the most part everyone seemed to like this place. Knowing it is soooooooo hard to find really good Chinese food, I said I ll give them a try. I ordered over the phone and it was ready within 15 minutes. After arriving I noticed a young and very very very respectful black guy working the register. This caught me by surprise because I ve never in my life seen a black guy working the register in any Chinese establishment (I m a black guy as well). The young guy greeted me, asked me about my day, called me sir, and most importantly wished me a Happy New Year. I got back into my truck and told my husband about how nice this guy was. That was the first plus. Well, fast forward to getting home, I dove into the chicken first, egg rolls second, and finally the best noodles ever!!!!!! This place really gave me what I wanted and more. I can t speak for everyone else, but I d recommend anyone to this Imperial China Cafe. I actually texted a friend who lives up the street so that he and his wife would give this place a try. Thanks for the excellent meal, and the very professional service!!! I will be back over and over and over again!!!!

I stayed in hotel, where airline offered me to stay because my flight was delayed, I payed insurance when I purchased my ticket, so I don t have to sleep at the airport in the event flight canceled delayed, anyway, this restaurant guy, after ordering food, and using the voucher, which I. Payed insurance for, nerve to tell me, he is not going to cancel which I am still in the process of ordering, my son decided to eat pizza, so will order pizza, he said no I am not going to cancel because I already put your voucher, then comments you are eating free, I asked what that meant, and he keep repeating you are eating free, As far as I know, I am not, but you should learn how to treat your customers better, even if I was to eat free, you are not to refuse and force on me what i don t want. This was my first time here. I hadn t eaten since the morning so I was looking forward to having shrimp fried rice for dinner. I was very disappointed. The food tasted burnt. It had a weird smell in the car and when I got home, opened the box the rice was VERY dark brown. I used to be a cook at a Japanese restaurant so I know that soy sauce can burn easily so I m sure that what s happened here. They should have know better then to serve that to someone. I tried covering the taste with hot sauce and soy sauce but just terrible over all. l will never go back.

I ordered delivery, the delivery driver was being such a creep literally he was looking through my window with his hands on the window so he could get a better looking inside my house and when I came to the door I yelled who are you? I think I scared him by saying that because he ran to his car and just left. Overall the whole experience was So unprofessional and weird will never be ordering from you guys again.

I decided to give the restaurant a try, in order to support our local small businesses. Hey why not? Since its been slow due to lack of business caused by the pandemic. So we ordered shrimp fried rice and jalapeno chicken, thinking you cant good bad with shrimp fried rice...Wrong like seriously wrong I cant even come close to explain the taste or find the words. I am not a picky person but this was awful , so Im thinking maybe its my taste buds. I leave it for my husband to try later at night while watching TV. The next morning he asked what was that? Didnt taste like shrimp fried rice, then he complained about what was supposed to be jalapeno chicken. Im aware everyones taste is different, I have eaten at several Chinese restaurants. This one..will never have to worry about me ever again. Just a waste of money, next time I want to support local Ill stick to what I know at least for my fried rice Grand Garden.

Have been their customer for almost 10 years coz its less than 4 minutes from our house. The food used to be good but not anymore during the recent few times of patronage.Wonder they have a new chef or what? Egg drop soup does not have much taste anymore, other dishes are all much sweeter than it should be .One of the dishes ordered tonight was nothing savory but vinegary. Fried wonton made with very thick wrap ,a couple not even cooked through. The worst thing is they started using MSG.We will not go back particularly there are more Chinese restaurants available only few miles away.

This is very good food! My daughter wont eat anyone elses fried rice! definitely the best Ive ever tried! I usually get the Sesame chicken or General Tsos chicken. My roommate always gets the rice combination platter. Super delicious! Try it!

Ordered the mix veggie with chicken, very clearly states online that it comes with steamed rice, I did NOT receive any, which was a HUGE disappointment. Food is delicious, wish it would come with utensils. The reason we order take out is to give me a break from washing dishes. Restaurant is family run but they very clearly need help.

This was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. We paid to have the food delivered to our hotel and they did not provide any utensils or napkins. I ordered Kung Pao vegetables (4 stars) and there were no peanuts at all and it was bland. It was like eating syrup and veggies. So gross. The Phad Thai noodles were unrecognizable. Never ever order from this place unless you have never had Chinese food so you don t know what you are supposed to get. When we went to the front desk of the hotel to borrow utensils we were told that this place forgets to provide them all the time. Wish I could give them 0 stars.

My coworker and I ordered from here today for lunch. It was amazing. Delivery was prompt, food was fresh and hot. Taste is amazing. The delivery guy was polite. I m going to give them 4 stars bc the food is mostly consistent and they are fast! They are also very friendly. They serve a good proportion of protein in comparison to other places that might skimp out on the chicken/beef in certain dishes. This is our neighborhood go-to Chinese take out - oh, and the prices are great!

I love ordering from this place. Their food is always hot and fresh. Only incident that I had with them was today. I ordered a dish for lunch, got it delivered and the dish was not prepared the way it was supposed to be. I did not get rude or anything. It was a little while before I was able to contact them about it, but when I did, they remade the order for me the correct way. I love their customer service! Thank you Imperial!! Best place in Humble! Food is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Delivery is quick and great for a rainy day. I actually ordered the seafood soup for delivery today, but thought I was ordering the fabulous House special wonton soup. When I opened it, I thought they got it wrong. I called to complain and discoverered it was My Mistake. The manager offered to deliver it to me regardless of my mistake! Now thats Customer service!!! What a kind and great staff!!!!
