This is a must stop and try their happy hour at the bar . The prices are amazing to go with the superb food . The two of us with at least three drinks apiece and multiple appetizers and pizza and the bill barely broke $100. The bar tender was tremendous and was on the spot even though he was very busy . The ambience is lively and inviting. The only bad thing I would have to say was there was no music on for the few hours we were there . We will most definitely be back .

I ate at Hungry s which is on the ground floor. Havent been to Upstairs but looks like a happy hour place. Been going to Hungry s for years. Love how fresh the food is. Nice casual experience with great service. Good place to meet friends.

Upstairs has an awesome atmosphere and great food. Definitely check out their happy hour. I will say, our group ordered two pizzas and both came out a little fishy tasting? I think it was the wood board it was served on. But overall a great place!

Very bummed. I love this place but they changed their happy hour deals last week! Don t love that the only happy hour white wine is a Chard and they took away their half price deal on the wine list for happy hour. Bring back the old happy hour specials!

Went to this place after our ceremony. I tried fried pickles for the first time, i loved it, and also tried smoked salmon avocado toast and Ceviche, they were refreshing. Loved the ambience. Although it was extremely windy upstairs that particular evening, we enjoyed the dinner. Not too crowded, really spacious, and the waiters recommendations were amazing.

Wow! Amazing experience! From the front door to the exit and everything in between. Will totally come back! We had trouble trying to park. The manager K actually came out to help us on a Friday afternoon. Then she came to our table to see if we were enjoying our experience! Thats customer service! Our waiter, Luis, was the sweetest! Food bites and drinks were excellent during happy hour! Brussel sprouts, ahi tuna on bed of Rice cakes, Casio e Pepe pizza and cashew questions with homemade potato chips and tortilla chips. Soooo good and nestled among the trees!

I found my new lil duck off spot!!! My bestie and I arrived at 3pm (thats when they open). We were greeted by two nice gentlemen behind the bar. We were allowed to sit wherever because we were the first to arrive. The venue is very cozy but chic. There is plenty of seating indoors and on the outside terrace area. The service was fast, and our waiter Christopher was amazing. Though Christopher was our waiter, there were at least 2 other gentlemen who stopped by to check on us. They really know how to make a girl feel special. It was a very welcomed change of scenery for us. It wasnt overcrowded, and it appeared to be a nice spot for professionals who want to wine down after work in a relaxed setting. The cherry on top of this amazing experience was the tab. I purchased a bottle of wine, 12 wings, crab mac n cheese,some amazing brussel sprouts, and molten lava cake for a bill ($100). Im sold, Im a fan and a patron. I love it here, dont change a thing. I will see you soon upstairs!!!

Unique place for Houston and a must go as the weather improves. Upstairs, is exactly what this is from their sister restaurant Hungrys. The bartender was amazing with a lot of suggestions and had great knowledge of the mixed drinks as well as the beer. Had a little appetizer pizza while sitting and enjoying the indoor / outdoor vibe that overlooks the Rice village area.

The food is great, and the service is quick and helpful. Its definitely a quiet place to visit, eat calm, and listen to the long rock fountain with rocks. 4 stats because parking was difficult, took 30 minutes for food, and I was not able to go on the second floor because it wasnt ready

Never have I ever entered an establishment and had a waitress overlook me and acting annoyed when we had to ask her a question. Though our waiter Benjamin was okay, It seems that there are a lot of language barriers in this organization and a lapse in customer service. Upstairs is literally upstairs over Hungry s restaurant. It is an Indoor / Outdoor bar venue where you can gather for drinks, apps and even dinner. The tables are arranged for gathering in groups whether to catch up for a drink after work or for small celebrations. The service is friendly, and the food is yummy standard bar fare. Parking is a bit sparse, but there is a complementary valet.

Everything about this was a poor experience. Got there around 9pm, an hour before they closed. The hostess at the front clearly was upset we were coming in and was apparently just in a poor mood. Open seating and we sat outside on the deck. Waiter was nice but completely absent. We ordered a drink each and honestly were some of the worst drinks; just completely horrible taste. Then we ended up waiting for about 20 minutes for the waiter to just return so we could pay and leave. All and all not good.

I visited here with my brother and girlfriend while visiting Houston recently. We ordered some mojitos and a basil rose gimlet which were both really good. We loved this place! We were unfamiliar with the many options on this area so we picked at random. Most important must have was TVs to watch March Madness. The first place we visited had no food. My bad. I usually prepare better but it was a name I knew and I assumed. So we ended up looking for a place to relocate to and Upstairs was it! The staff was friendly and attentative all the way around. The bar selection was on point, and Im a craft IPA guy. The food was incredible. We couldnt stop oohing and aahing while we savored every bit of the baked goat cheese. One of our favorite dishes and this one was done to perfection. Upstairs has definitely made our list.
