First and foremost, I just want to take this time to say THANK YOU!!! Thank you Alejandro for helping me out when I was stuck in what I say has been one of the most stressful times of my life. You really outdid yourself from the very beginning. I found myself needing a lawyer and of course I went and did some research beforehand and after reading this firms reviews I just knew I had to go with him. When I reached out to him, it was after hours. It was about 9pm or later when I decided to write him and I was honestly not expecting a call or anything that day. To my surprise he called me within minutes after I reached out, and he got to work immediately. From the very beginning he was very attentive, he explained everything to me through and through and wanted to know what it was that I was expecting out of this whole thing. My case was a DWI case and I just did not want that on my record. My courts kept getting postponed due to covid so it was nerve wrecking for me. He reached out even if my court was far away just to keep me in the loop of things. Fast forward to a few days before my court date... he worked his magic and they ended up dropping the DWI charge and I was extremely happy. I felt like I could breathe again, I felt a weight was lifted off my shoulders. It may not be a big deal to some but to me, having that dropped was a huge deal. I had never been in any sort of legal situation before and was in a pretty scary situation with the charges I was being faced with. Mr. Martinez was appointed as my public defender and, though I was paranoid and overwhelmed, he remained calm and collected, told me exactly what I needed to do and explained the workings of the case, and before I even walked into the courtroom had my case dismissed and all charges dropped. Not only would I recommend Mr. Martinez to anyone, I also always keep his business card handy should I ever need a lawyer again. I was recently charged with a crime for the first time and got Alejandro as my court-appointed lawyer. Couldnt be happier with his services! Never met him in person but he always responded to calls, texts, and emails in a very timely manner. He made the whole process super easy and clear, and he represented me in court twice before getting my case dismissed (without me ever having to show up to a court date). If anyone is interested in retaining an attorney, I highly recommend Mr. Alejandro Martinez, with Martinez and LePendu Attorneys at Law. As reflected in my star rating. Mr. Martinez was able to return a dismissal of charges in my defense versus the State of Texas. Anything otherwise possibly could have resulted in a 90-180 day drivers license suspension, hefty fines, costs and fees, probation or incarceration. Alejandros preparedness on legal policy and procedure has its foundation in SMU Law. His experience with the DFW area combined with doing business in the Hill Country region while all the while being from San Antonio gives Mr. Martinez an advantage over most competitors. Alejandros understanding of and appreciation for his craft assists in relating and connecting with his clients. Which in turn helps when representing them in judicial affairs. Alejandro was a true blessing for me! He started working on my case immediately the first day we spoke. I called 8 attorneys and he is the only one that answered directly and only three of the others even returned my call. At a moment of total uncertainty my husband and I frantically searched google for any attorney willing to take my husbands case, mind you this is after 5pm so getting ahold of anyone was slim to none. Mr. Martinez was incredibly patient and handled our situation for us every step of the way. We would have been lost without him. He dropped everything to spend whole afternoons on our case. Mr. Martinezs deep knowledge of the system (he was a former prosecutor) was a benefit to us in that he was able to see an angle that other lawyers werent aware of and was able to secure a complete dismissal!
