I don t don t know, I just really didnt like what I ordered or how they made my drinks either. I ordered a jalapeno, 3 meat pizza and a mescal mule and they tasted awful. The establishment is a smaller one but that wasn t a big deal, the service was very poor. It s located in an area where there are several restaurants that surround it. They were all packed so perhaps I should have chosen one of those places specifically the Thai place as my dining option. Lol. Always trust your gut. Also, it s in upper Kirby so it s not really centralized. You re driving a bit out of the way just to be disappointed. Parking is free and they do have security that patrols the lot to deter break ins so that good. But wasn t enough to make up for the quality of the food. It gave Nostalgic elementary school cafeteria flavored pizza, the ones that were cut into rectangles and had no real flavor or depth and that were often soggy. The drink tasted like they poured it out of a can and said oh our bar tender expertly crafted this cocktail . Lmao! Will not be returning but will check out the Thai place because it looked very very busy.

Ive been here before and had a great time!! Great pizzas and drinks!! I recently dine here and had the calamari it tasted not fresh and very unappealing. Then I had the spinach and artichoke dip that would compare to Spackle ....it had no real flavor and was not appetizing. Now th pizzas were on point and incredible !! Great price on bottles of wine and great service... I would go back for the pizzas and wine!!

We wanted pizza and decided to give this restaurant a try. We happened to go on a Monday which is half priced pizza night!! We began our meal with crab stuffed mushrooms..delicious! No skimping on the crab in these. I would return just for those but then the pizza came. Ingredients were fresh, nice crispy thin crust and hot and cheesy. Will definitely return..Tuesday night is pasta specials I think. Thursday half priced wine!! I understand there is live music on some nights as well.

Order 4 pies, The Steakhouse, Capone, Garlic Chicken and one with Creamy Alfredo, spinach, mushroom and lamb. I must admit this was some of the best pizza I have eaten! They are all made of thin crust. Each one had their own unique flavors but wasnt disappointed not once! I will definitely be returning. Also we did ask for no pork but they still ended up putting it on the Capones.

Pizza was just as I had hoped from the online reviews, delicious! I sat at the bar and it seemed the bartender was all alone for the entire first floor, which was pretty busy as I heard a few customers mention it to her. The live band was great to me, sang a mix of song styles. The manager/owner (not sure) introduced himself & the bartender as he sat me down. Then after I had eaten a little he came by and asked how I liked my dinner, very personable I will definitely be back to bring my family to try the food!

This place is a hidden gem! My friends and I had a great time downstairs with the live band and fantastic food. I had no idea there was an upstairs until we booked our private party with them. The staff was on point and I can not say enough good things about the atmosphere. Oh yeah and the price for all of it including the buffet / drinks was so reasonable I feel like we got away with something haha. We will def be booking our annual events here!

Why would I pay $18 for just 5 shrimp ? If your shrimp scampi is coming with NO linguine noodles, THEN MAKE IT CLEAR IN THE DESCRIPTION ON YOUR MENU. People HERE expect shrimp scampi to be just that. A type of pasta!!! Not a 5 piece shrimp side add on bc that s exactly what it s giving. SMH. I m so tired of the food culture now days. Placed an pick-up order on 3/9. Ordered 3 pizzas and 3 appetizers. All the food was very delicious. They messed up one of our pizzas and gave us someone elses pizza we only realized when we got back home. But even that pizza was also pretty good. The size of the pizza was kind of underwhelming. If youre ordering for a hungry party I would recommend 1 pizza per person. Overall I would not recommend this place for takeout, probably best to enjoy the Dine-in experience since they have live music and a nice atmosphere.

Everything was terrible here. The service worst of all. We came for my mother in laws birthday. The food (a simple salad) took a long while to come out and so did the pizza. Many, many of the dishes our party ordered didn t even get put in and it was a huge mess. The service was bad, young waiters don t know how to respond to wrong orders, just said oh that was an accident without offering to fix the situation. Wouldn t come here even if the food was free and drinks were on the house.

This is my third time coming to this place, every appetizer I ve had has always been delicious, but the main courses are always hit and miss. You can t go wrong with the fried calamari, or the jalapeño dip. The truffle mac and cheese is the only consistent main course from the menu. The live band is nice, but I wish they had a sound buffer around their stage.

This restaurant had some delicious food and good character within the interior of the building. I observed the table next to us receiving better service as our server was short-worded (slightly rude in the beginning), and not really attentive to us. In the end, he dropped the check off and ran away without saying anything, stopped after realizing what he did, came back and thanked us for dining with them then greeted us a Merry Christmas. I would return for the good food, but would dine elsewhere for better service.

I have gone there three times. The food is Amazing. 2nd time there was a large plastic wrap in my prosciutto caprese which I pulled out of my mouth. 3rd time recently was served water in very dirty glasses that you could see some kinda sauce smeared on the inside of the glass.. I pointed both things out to management they were very sorry. Everything else is great. The food and atmosphere will have me coming back over and over. But some more attention needs to be paid on the kitchen to prevent foreign objects from getting in the food and wait staff to prevent guests being served dirty glasses.

Ordered Uber eats with an estimated of 30 min delivery. They didn t pick up calls to check on order. Went through 3 different delivery drivers waiting for our food with no updates on the food after an hour. If you re unable to fulfill the order then state as such. This place has very bad customer service from the management!! I placed a pickup order online via the website. I was redirected to a food ordering app called Slice. I placed a simple cheese pizza with marinara sauce. I didn t receive the correct order. It was a cheese pizza with alfredo sauce instead. I called to see if anything could be done but the manager REBECCA was dismissive, rude and gave me no solutions for a problem I didn t cause! They keep saying that is how the ticket came in and conveniently, the scam website Slice also sent no receipt to confirm what I ordered. Again Rebecca was very unhelpful. Aside from a refund, she did not even want to remake a pizza I never ate, I would appreciate being contacted immediately and have the issue resolved and I ll possibly think about not taking this up with the bank and BBB.

This restaurant is one of my favorite places to order food or get dinner with friends. All their food never disappoints, and theyre always delicious! The servers are attentive and get your order right most of the time. Some nights, they would have a live band or artist perform throughout the nights. Even had a work meeting here. Upstairs they rent out for events and we are considering this place for our work holiday party. There is a parking lot which is a plus. You must try this place out! Great service by our waitress Mariana. I ordered a vegetable pizza. It was quite good and had black olives and feta cheese among other things. They had a live band. Check out the bathroom. Its easy to miss. The door is a book shelf. The pizza is not inexpensive as its $17.95 but I took into account that theres no cover charge for the live music. Parking is shared with other restaurants but not hard to find a space.

The calamari was like chewing on a Goodyear tire. The pizza ($20 for a 6-slice pie) was made on what looked like a tortilla, and with what tasted like a combo of white cheddar & American cheese. If you ve ever hastily made a quesadilla in your own kitchen, that is basically what their pizza is. I did not try the main entrees, so I cannot speak on those. Perhaps those more closely resemble actual Italian food. The servers & employees were friendly & did a nice job. The location and building are nice, but the early 2000s punk-pop music reminds me of being at a Pizza Hut. My advice to Capones: trade-in the blink 182 for a little Dean Martin, and call it quits on the pizza.

Look at this $20+ pizza before tip, about 8.5 inches across so cost nearly 50 cents per square inch. No bueno. When I opened box and said to staff wow, this is a super small pizza, I didn t realize I ordered personal size , she laughed and walked away. Was funny statement I guess but I could tell by her face that she too was uncomfortable with the size of the pie. This place either needs to make bigger pizzas to fill the box or serve their tiny pizzas in smaller boxes so isn t so obvious. We tried this place for the first time Friday night and it is a pretty cool place to hang out with friends, family, or a fun little date night. The food was great! We had a delicious Greek salad, the meat lover pizza, and the kids dined on amazing spaghetti and cheese pizza. The restrooms were a fun little thing for our girls because it was located on a secret bookshelf - they were also very clean. The live music made the night even greater with AJ Santana playing live. Definitely, a place we will return to!

The place used to be great. The food quality and prices were great, now the prices are higher with lower quality and it takes more time to get your food. All the staff is different and more of a revolving door. The good ones are gone and every day its a different face. What happened? I have been three times since my first bad experience to give them the benefit of doubt. No more. I miss the old Capones. You need a new manager.

Hidden and cozy gem in Houston... love the live band on Friday nights, intimate but casual, order the truffle Mac & cheese and thank me later... love their pizzas... especially their house specials the Capone or the Godfather... the crust makes it, let alone the topings....

Since this is one of our favorite spots to listen to live music and enjoy pizza, I had hoped for a more enjoyable dining experience, but unfortunately, Capones fell short of expectations. I won t be returning to this establishment anytime soon, as there are much better options available that can truly satisfy one s taste buds and provide a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy a meal. The atmosphere was off! Lighting was off! Food was definitely off! They forgot the goat cheese, pineapple on the entire pizza, and the plain plate of lettuce that lacked my cheese and pear was disappointing! A month ago I would ve recommended this place and now not so much being they didn t do a thing to fix it. We had a good server but she kept disappearing for long periods of time. Yep, definitely one of our least favorite experiences.

Weird vibe in this place. Went with three friends last night, felt like we werent supposed to be there. There were three other tables, they all seemed to know each other. Service was very slow, our waiter seemed out of it and was awkwardly uninterested in providing good service. Wont be back.

I went there for Fathers Day and had a horrible experience. It was around 4 p.m. and not busy at all, however, it took over 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order, and then it took another 5 minutes to receive our actual drinks. We never received the appetizer. After waiting for twenty minutes, we asked for the appetizer, and the server went to check, but then our entrees came out. So logically, we told the server to cancel the appetizer, but he seemed puzzled by the idea, so I had to remind him why we wanted the appetizer in the first place. There was no apology or any attempt to remedy the situation. We were never served bread, so I asked if we could have some, and then they placed an order for garlic bread, which never came out either. Buyer beware, but I will never come back to this place.

Walking in, the environment is quiet, and Suttle. Open seating, both inside and outside. You are greeted by staff and seated promptly. Very clean, and presentable setting. Our waitress, very attentive and sweet. Her recommendations on the dishes were taken into consideration. And displayed in photos below. The Big Otis pizza, peach sangria, and cheese cake. If you are lucky. You might catch Denise Rodman (Chicago Bulls/Spurs basketball player) on the back porch.

We tasted their pizza at Uncorked so we wanted to try it out. We ordered takeout and we were not impressed. The stuffed mushrooms were good, but great, calamari needed seasoning, and the pizza did not heat up well. All in all, I think its worth trying out. The Capone pizza has a lot of toppings that you would think go together, but its surprisingly good. We would skip the appetizers and go straight to the pizza.
