Mr Rashids Law Firm was a God send in our time of need. My husband was laid off from his job and within a few months had a life threatening heart issue. He ended up having heart bypass surgery. I contacted this law firm to schedule a consultation regarding a potential Chapter 7 bankruptcy, as I am considering dismissing my current Chapter 13. I have three other consultations scheduled with bankruptcy attorneys today for the same purpose. However, this law firm declined to provide a consultation due to my active Chapter 13 case. My attorney in Arizona recommended that I consult with a lawyer in Texas before dismissing my Chapter 13, as I am now a Texas resident and intend to file for Chapter 7 in Texas. It is logical to seek legal advice prior to making such a decision. While I appreciated the courteous manner of the young lady I spoke with, I found it unreasonable that the firm refused to offer a consultation. Hence, I am rating my experience with two stars.

I was very stressed about my wages being garnished every week for the past 3 years. My creditor was in Tennessee and I didnt know who to talk to or who to ask for help here in Texas. Declaring bankruptcy is a tough pill to swallow and I never thought I would be in this position. But life and circumstances happen.
