These folks have been here for at least 12 years and the food is always delicious and the service is great! It is the most requested restaurant whenever out-of-town relatives come to visit. Weekend breakfast buffets and weekday lunch buffets are good too if you want to try a little bit of a lot

We really wanted to like this place it was recommended by our hotel and we love eating locally when we visit. The beef taco was good and so was the rice/beans, but all the chicken dishes were sort of meh. The chicken was dry and they were drowning in a flavorless cheese sauce. The sodas were all flat so we didn t drink them. The server was friendly enough .she was way overworked. Overall: do not recommend.

This has always been one of our favorite locally owned Mexican Food restaurants. It is consistent, and the food is authentic. For breakfast I usually order Barbacoa Tacos, for lunch it s enchiladas and a dinner I would usually order fajitas! Must try the green salsa!!

in my twenty years of living in college station, i had never eaten at such a quaint, yet well furnished establishment. we walked in and it was the most perfect temperature inside (it was a cloudy day). we got to choose our seating which is always a nice surprise and we picked the table with three seats on the red wall towards the back. it had nice lighting and elevated our dining experience greatly. the food and service was great as well. thank you mi familia coco loco

We found Mi Familia Coco Loco on a Sunday morning, and there was plenty of room for our party of 9. Our waitress was very patient, welcoming, and accommodating. Mi Familia Coco Loco offers a buffet and items off the menu. We did not take up on the buffet but the food kept coming out fresh, the buffet was well stocked. Our plate were large and our food tasted great. Prices were good considering its College Station. I could easily see us coming back for breakfast or lunch.

Not too thrilled about the buffet. Really odd choices. I ended up just ordering something from the menu after I bought the buffet. I loved the fruit tho! The beans were a bit too watery for me. I am pregnant so i feel like that plays a little part in my taste of things. I wouldn t go back if I m back in college station tho :( Nothing bad or mean about the service or to the food, it just wasn t for me.

We were returning from Galveston on our way home and craving a Mexican breakfast and stopped at Mirandas Familia Coco Loco. Breakfast is served all day, and it really hit the spot. The Huevos ala Mexicana were some of the best I have ever eaten. The lunch buffet is quite popular, plentiful, and quite reasonable.

We went on Sunday morning and first thing they told us was to find our own table. We had a party of six for we had to initially separate our group before finding a bigger table. Im beholden to coming to this place for my breakfast taco fix every time Im in College Station. Its just an automatic reflex by this point. The only thing separating this place from a better review is the customer service. If youre working the register, it wouldnt hurt to smile maybe at least a little bit. We arrived 30 to 40 minutes prior to closing. My wife and I both wanted to order some tea. The hostess informed us that they were already cleaning up and had poured out all of their tea. My wife ordered the tacos al carbon and the meat had a lot of gristle in it and the tortillas were soggy. I ordered the beef fajita enchiladas and they were satisfactory. There was nothing remarkable about my dish. Service was slow, which I suspect of the fact that they were all working to clean up and walk out the door right at 8:00 p.m. theyre closing time.

Always the best in authentic Mexican food. Ive been eating there for almost 20 years. Weekday lunch buffet cannot be beat. WOW! What a wonderful group of people! Our daughter was getting married and she wanted breakfast tacos for her reception because breakfast for dinner is her favorite meal. I looked all over BCS for someone to cater. Most breakfast places in town had no interest in helping us out and the places that said yes ended up pricing themselves out of the job. Finally, I remembered this sweet little restaurant and gave them a call. I spoke with Esmarelda and I was sold instantly. She cared about what we were doing. She was excited for our daughter and about helping us have a great meal. She treated us like we had known her for many years. The food was FABULOUS and all our guests raved about the quality and quantity they served. If you want good food and service from a place that appreciates your business give them a call!

I used to enjoy coming here for breakfast they were so good and fast. As of recently it seems like they have gone down hill. It may be some miscommunication from the front staff and the kitchen or something else but I am not a pleased customer. Today I ordered breakfast and after arriving 15 minutes later to pick up they didnt have my food ready even worse they hadnt put the order in. The kitchen was clueless of what I was talking about and no one took responsibility for the mistake. They have also gotten my order wrong on my two previous visits. Man I was wrong... the food came out and the color, size, and shape of the veggies and such let cha know this was all hand chopped about as fresh off the vine as you could get... tortillas were made in house I believe... probably the best Mexican food thats ever graced my lips... the misses and I could have shared a dinner and been satisfied... the waitress was prompt and polite... my glass never rattled... I simply can not see any way a negative review was ever written... if youve had better Mexican food I wanna know where... Ill definitely be going back before I leave this town.
