This is our Thursday, Friday, Saturday night spot. We ALWAYS sit at the bar bc Jose will ALWAYS take care of you. The drinks are always amazing, I ve never had a bad meal here. I got so sick after eating there on 9-25-24 around 3:00pm. The only person working was 1 man who was seating, waiting tables and bussing tables. Most of the staff was at the bar with the Manager on duty. We sat outside. Big mistake!! It was so nasty.. flies so bad bc tables had not been bussed or cleaned. The waiter was a good one, but one man can only do so much. If the kitchen is as nasty as the Patio was. NO wonder I got sick Dietary restrictions: My Great Grandson is allergic to dairy

The atmosphere here draws me in as the delicious scent of tasty food makes my mouth water. The hostess stand has people that are welcoming to seat you. The servers are all helpful, efficient and friendly. The drink menu has many options for me to contemplate, (I like trying new things) so this time I chose a pineapple margarita and goodness, did it delight my taste buds and warm my soul..! It was like tasting the last bits of summer as its fading out. The food was delectable and plentiful. The check came and it was surprisingly low for a nice restaurant with a great experience. It was great until I chomped down on a hard piece of a plastic mat that they prepare the guacamole on! Thankfully I didn t bite down hard enough to break my tooth or damage my crown. The mat is where they prepare the guacamole and apparently they cut a piece of the mat and scooped it into the guacamole unknowingly and carelessly. That could have been a horrible situation if my tooth broke or worse yet if I had swallowed it. I showed it to the bartender and all she did was comp the guacamole. I wanted her to tell the manager so nobody else had the same experience. But no manager ever came over to apologize or anything. Not good at all. My advice? Be careful when you eat there.

Really good mexican restaurant! Little pricey but so tasty!!! Wife and I ordered two margaritas and shared a fajita platter, came out to $58 before tip. However the meat was very tender, the drinks were sweet but strong. The beans and rice were very flavorful and tasty, just overall; great time!!! Oh also the salsa is a little spicy, but thats how I like it!

Had the pleasure of having an early dinner around 4pm on a Saturday with my wife and father-in-law . Upon arrival we were immediately greeted and sat. We ordered the guacamole as an appetizer which we could see being prepared from scratch. For entrees we had brisket tacos, enchiladas arracheras, and the CH Salad with chicken. We were all thoroughly impressed with our meals. I haven t had better enchiladas in my life, the meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked, incredibly tender for fajita steak. The rice and beans were spot on too. The staff and our server were great too. Very attentive and quick to prebus. Can t wait to go back, got my eye on the tres leches.

Thoroughly enjoyed! The Shrimp Brochette, bacon wrapped shrimp, was amazing and very filling as it is packed with protein. The grilled veggies were seasoned and cooked just right. Green rice was a pleasant surprise as well as the salad. A spicy entree that I requested be mild. Would definitely return.

I dont know what has happened with the food at Mannys in Heath. I heard things were going downhill but didnt believe it - now I found know. I ordered the lunch chicken fajitas and the chicken had a horrible burnt taste I could not eat it. The charro beans (once the best) were terrible. My friend and I both left ours uneaten. The hot sauce was almost like just tomato sauce with a tiny bit of veggies in it. Dip your chip and it came out with a red color. The service seemed rushed. At one point I saw our waiter in the kitchen cooking Im guessing our lunch. As expensive as it is, I wont be back. So sorry this has happened to a once great restaurant.

I stopped here for the first time with a friend. We both ended up ordering the fajita tacos one with beef and one with chicken. It comes with a salad, a slice of avocado, some rice and beans. Of course there is chips and salsa as well. The inside of the place really impressed me I wasnt expecting something so clean and modern. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and of course the service was super fast. We enjoyed our time, it looks like they have a brunch menu as well which Im sure is very delicious.

Oh boy, my husband suggested dinner at our favorite quaint Mexican food spot in the small town of Heath. I have loved this restaurant since the first time we tried it. From their wonderful manager Jorges to the wonderful waiter Nacho, they make you feel welcomed. I have had several dishes here, and you can not go wrong with anything there. As soon as youre seated, the table is brought chips and homemade salsa. The wait staff are quick with asking for drink orders. I can recommend their skinny margaritas and also regular margaritas. They are very delicious and a generous pour. I was nicely buzzed after 2 margaritas. My husband has also tried the different flavored margaritas and really enjoys them, but Im a purest and just love original. They have a very nice adult beverages menu, including a variety of mixed drinks with specialty signature drinks, assorted beer, and a wine menu. We have tried several of the appetizers. Our favorites are the queso. The ceviche is really freshly made with wonderful flavors. We have also tried the Mannys Uptown Platter, which is highly shareable with a delicious variety of items. For dinner, my go-to is always a full order of Brisket Nachos. They are packed with wonderful flavorable brisket with a smear of refried beans covered in melted cheese. The dish comes with guacamole, sour cream, and jalapeños. My husband loves the Chimichanga that comes with the choice of topping (red sauce, cheese sauce, etc) and rice and beans. The dish is really a generous portion. We are the type of patrons that usually have found our favorite dishes and dont venture much from them. But they have a very versatile menu. We have not tried any desserts yet, but they look very delicious. Mannys atmosphere is very laid back, but very inviting with tables and tall booths. They have a small bar section and an open window to see the chefs busy preparing our items. Mannys has a gorgeous, very large patio area with a large fountain in the middle and traditional rows of colorful hanging Papel picados. We love the waiter Nacho, who usually waits on us. He is very attentive and never misses a beat. Drinks are filled as well as tortilla chips. We love him! Restrooms are located and are easy to find and have always been very clean.There is easy access to the parking lot with plenty of parking, including handicapped. Dont miss this hidden gem in a hidden small town trying to grow.

My Husband & I have been dinning at Manny s for 2.5 yrs. Always order two glasses of Kendall-Jackson Cab wine. When our bill arrived, we were stunned! $34 for the wine. $18 a glass! We thought it had to be a mistake! You can buy a bottle for $17.95! We discussed this with the Manager but he had no explanation or any offer to reduce the charge. I guess being a loyal customer doesn t matter. Therefore, I told the Manager We won t be back. So a word of caution, verify your drink prices before ordering. If you re wondering we eat out several times a week at nice restaurants. I m familiar with cost of wine. However, I like the middle priced wines. I ve never even considered expensive wines and Kendall-Jackson is a nice middle class. Certainly not worth $18 a glass!

I dont often give 5 star ratings, but this was an exception. The place was jam packed. The atmosphere a little loud but Friday night so what are you gonna do. The food was outstanding. Our server was new and so overwhelmed with her section she made a few mistakes, she was very sweet so we gave her a break but the manager came over and we gold him some of the issues with the food. Went in with a group in between peewee football games around 1030am, basically no one there. Chips passed out waters and drinks all around, ordered food. Food took forever, over an hour, half the group for served, other half didnt for another 30 mins. Or orders were put in way before the rest of the restaurant, which was getting busy, but everyone was eating except half of us. Terrible kitchen prep, to put us half only. No one loved their food. Salsa was too spicy, but little flavor. I ordered the kids beef fajita, no tortillas, no sides, just meat veg and set up, I got 5 strips of beef, rice and beans, neither of which I can eat, no pico, no sour cream, no guac, no veg! Beef was not seasoned and kinda tough. Yall know I love Mexican/TexMex, but this was not for me! Food 2/10 dont recommend. Hangout place 7/10.

I always get the tortilla soup to test a new (to me) tex-mex restaurant. I figure if they use good quality ingredients in the soup the other food is good. The soup at Mannys is amazing and now it is what I get everytime we eat there.

The salsa was nice and spicy. I was not impressed with the grilled stuffed pablano pepper with brisket. It was kind of on the bland side, and the Spanish rice was very salty. I will eat there again but stick to the Mannys Special.

We had a new server. His first day. He was on point. One of the best. Sorry I didn t catch his name but if we see him there next time we will request him. 100% professional. Customer service was top notch. Really in his groove. Food was excellent. The waiters service brought it full circle.

I really thought my family and I were going to have a great dining experience here. Since we are new to the area.We were looking for a new spot that we could eventually call our regular. However, not so. Initially great. Great welcome. Our customary chips came before we even completely sat down ( they were yummy). It was not crowded or full at all - multiple tables separately every party. The gentleman who brought our chips was very nice and welcoming and relayed to us that our waiter would be over soon. We assumed it wouldnt take long due to the small amount of customers, so we looked over the menu fairly quickly so we could order or food with our drinks ( we were starving). 5 minutes go - no waiter. We said they might be closing out previous customer, no problem. I notice a few waiters getting together that seem like a happy birthday surprise. Another 9 minutes go by. The server who brought our chip noticed my family havent been served our drinks yet. He politely walked over and asked us if we had been served. I politely said no. He quickly said, Let me go see whos area is this. At that moment, the birthday caravan walked passed our table to get to the designated. The chip guy yelled to our waiter ...( I wish I could remember her name) hey ----pointed to our tables. But instead of her coming to serve her table, she decided to join the birth caravan. My husband and I looked at each other yep grab our daughter, and walked out. The good thing is through our search for another place to eat we found a new regular..YAY!!

Fajitas, beef/chicken dry, no flavor. Neither the server nor the manager came to our table to address our feedback. The server came to our table after a wait to address our concerns and let us know they are preparing the chicken Fajitas. Brought the dish, I asked her to wait while I tasted it, but it was still not good. The manager never came. The queso with chorizo was good. Im conflicted about recommending

Mannys in Heath, TX. Walked in with my daughter and I on a Tuesday 5/16/24 at 9:28 after a school event next door and we were starving. I d already googled and looked at website and saw they closed at 10 pm. They normally are very fast with service so thought 32 minutes was plenty of time. At the host station was the hostess and what appeared to be the manager. The hostess gave a half smile but the manager looked at us with such disgust and irritation, I asked if still open, even though I d already looked that they were. He rudely looked at host and said with disdain, go seat them and they re the last table. I was completely shocked by how we were treated so I told my daughter, forget it, let s go. They were still open so I m beyond shocked at how the manager acted. We ve visited Mannys many times and it s been fine. But, TEX-mex restaurants are a dime a dozen in Texas. We will not be back!

My experience every time has been amazing. The bartenders are lovely very nice very welcoming to me and my family. I go all the time drinks a reasonably priced place to go to impress someone Mannys in Heath Texas is definitely it best margarita ever Vegetarian options: If you are vegan and vegetarian, they have very fresh options. The food is delicious. Dietary restrictions: They have all sorts of vegetables on the menu. Very good selection of food that is very vegan style food very healthy tex mex Parking: Good parking in the parking lot was packed Mannys is in a great location Kid-friendliness: I didn t see any kids in there, but they were very nice. Very welcoming. Maybe on the weekends for the kids daytime nighttime very nice romantic scene very family oriented.

Had Dinner here and was not pleased at ALL. The service was terrible, food okay. Then asked the server his name because I wanted to speak with the manager about our visit. The server says my name is Lucifer . I thought it was a joke. But, the manager came and when I asked him what my servers name was, he hesitated and said he goes by Lucifer but his name is Jenssy P . Either way. The server and his service at the restaurant is what has brought me to my decision to not only post my review, but I ll never set foot inside this restaurant ever again.
