New review : A year later, it s still rough, staff may get your sandwiches ready, but don t call out there to go orders that are ready. I come in. It s not ready. I have a seat they know my name but nobody s looking out for the orders as they finish. Old review:Been 3 times since opened. Some staff don t seem to care about taking care of the customers. Non work related Chattter amongst staff while sandwich making is unprofessional. Cashier one time wasn t at register to tend to my togo pickup. Twice the veggies guy was slow a molasses and didn t have register guy wrap or bag the sandwiches making he process slower. Staff are the problem.

the meat and veggies were fresh,crisp,vibrant and very flavorful with an amazing boost of...!!! THE JUICE!!! - red wine vinegar and olive oil- i asked for extra juice today because its just that good . Once I finished my lunch sub i found myself wanting a dinner sub, I got the super sub today and wanted to try the Chipotle Chilli cheese steak for dinner. 10/10 recommend eating here. Next time Ill take photos of the yummy subs, I also recommend the spicy dill chips to go with your sub, its like miss vickies jalapeño and sea salt vinegar had a baby-Also a 10/10. Everyone was friendly and Im sure the missing topping was due to new hires, absolutely fine with it since i still remember myself trying to find my own way around a restaurant when I first started, practice makes perfect- we all start somewhere. I love the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff here, they explain whats most popular and what comes in the sub just in case you dont fully know and they also offer other options other than bread such as in a tortilla,wrap or in a bowl ( i think looks like healthy sushi roll ) and they also offer gluten free bread. they ask if youre in the mood for a hot or cold sub which i think helps determine what to order if its your first time or if youd like to try to try something new. I absolutely recommend this place to everyone i know and I will keep on ordering from jersey mikes. This location is close to s.p.i so I will find myself soon ordering a catering order from here. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my thoughts on this restaurant, I look forward to ordering here again Vegetarian options: If youre looking for a vegetarian or vegan option- there is the #14 which is the veggie you can ask to remove the Swiss for vegan and it comes with bell peppers and your choice of toppings such as lettuce, tomatoes, onions, banana peppers, pickles, jalapeños,cherry pepper relish and the juice which is red wine vinegar and olive oil sprinkled with salt and oregano, you can also ask for pepper and or add portabella mushrooms, which is #64 on the menu if you want it hot on the grill (ask for no Swiss and in a tub if vegan) Dietary restrictions: They have calories listed in their menu and a veggie sub option. Gluten free bread and cookie aswell. Parking: Harlingen,TX. Kid-friendliness: They have a high chair and are friendly to kids, nothing dangerous in their reach if in case they wander around on accident. Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheel chair parking.

We normally love jersey Mikes original sub. Disappointed today. 4 employees..manage..walking around, acting important, not assisting.young lady started our order well, slicing meat. She passed the sandwich off to someone new..he tried really hard but the communication between the two was poor. The young man had a hard time understanding what I wanted. At checkout, the third man took a few minutes with his back turned before ringng us up. The manager was too busy politicking to ring us out.

I love these subs! They re as delicious as I ever remember while growing up in NJ. Perfect blend of sub roll (Parmesan is my choice), sandwich meats, cheeses, lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper ( Mike s Way ). The Original Italian takes me back to the good old days, hanging out in the park after wiffle ball, and eating subs from the local sub shop; or maybe sitting on the beach at Manasquan, just across from Point Pleasant, home of Mike s original shop. Reasonable price, delicious subs, and more!

Was overcharged again and didn t get any credit back and nothing was resolved . The guy at the counter said that he will make it up to me with another sub next time . Food was fine, atmosphere was fine but i didnt eat in. My group got in we were waiting for orders, my name wasnt called when it was set out. And we were waiting for like a half hour even though we tried to let them know we were there, we tried to say something and nothing was done to make it right. This is a fairly new place, when I walk in I wait at least 2 to 3 minutes to order with no one in front of me, I feel like no one wants to help & they all talk really unprofessional. This one guy took the meat off my bread to weigh, the machine was dirty but he did use some kind of paper, the knife always has build up its gross. If this place doesnt turn around its not going to look new for very long.

The subs are made to order, and deli meats are sliced while subs are made. The staff was helpful and friendly. The subs have tons of meat and taste like no other. Prices are reasonable and only draw back is location has limited seating, but its worth trying. Being a FIRST time customer, we were sooo eager to try Jersey Mikes for the first time and we just had the WORST Experience Ever, we jusr had to CANCEL our order instead and when we told the manager he said GREAT as a common courtesy, he could of asked why,? A new sub-joint is in town. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, which is typical for openings. The deli setup is a change, but be patient with the small seating area. It has just opened, and there will be a rush during lunch hours. We ordered large: #13 Original Italian, which has been the best I have compared to other sandwich joints. #7 Turkey & Provolone, which you can never go wrong with. We will try their grilled options on another visit since there was a wait for those. Cooking may add a slight wait time. The lunch rush is evident, so arrive a little early. However, this may settle with time. Recommendation, download their app. Hoping standard stays for the long-term. Total: 42.09 Large sandwiches leftovers great for dinner or next day lunch.

I heard of the grand opening a few days ago and I was excited to stop by, and finally got around to it. As soon as we walked in the cashier asked if it was our first time here and gave us a free chocolate chip cookie for being our first time. The staff automatically gave a great first impression and were all very humble, friendly and helpful! I ordered a #26, the Chicken Bacon Ranch and it did not disappoint! It was delicious. This place has to be by far my favorite sandwich place comparing to other sandwich places such as Subway, Firehouse Subs and thats because I love those places as well but they dont compare! The best part was we got our regular sandwiches free since we made a $3 donation! I will definitely be coming back here!
