Though I can not comment on Lauren s legal expertise just yet her character definitely required a praise. Due to a scheduling mishap we could have our initial consultation however she quickly called me later in the day to explain the situation and listened to my case impromptu. I found out important information I was not prevy to in which case she could not represent me at the moment but she still offered me guidance and didn t just hang up. This was just the ray of hope I needed. I m a clueless first time mom , first generation American and still young / naive so with out her direction I would not have known next steps. I pray that I am able to get an extension so that I can retain her services because I truly believe she will fight for me and my case. Until then I trust her recommendation and have sought different representation and hoping he can deliver the same way she has . Lauren , sincerely thank you for being a good person.

Lauren Powell is my current lawyer helping me with a very messy and high conflict divorce case that involves child custody. She was recommended by a friend of mine. Lauren has handled my case for about a year now. I m so glad she took my case when my previous lawyer closed her practice. Lauren is very thorough in her preparation for the Hearings. Her office staff and her are very quick in communications. She understood my situation ( long term abusive relationship) and has always showed confidence in me and trusted me. That is huge for someone like me who came from decades long abuse. My case sat for over a year with no movement. Lauren has made strides in the year I ve worked with her. I definitely would recommend Powell Law Office. After spending six figures with what I initially thought was a boutique law firm in a complex divorce case, the lawyer at Powell law office was able to review my case and show me what should have been done at certain points in the case. Lauren and her staff went above and beyond for me. Got me more than 50% and as there for me every step of the way. She answered any and all questions I had about everything that was going on. Theres a saying you get what you pay for! Powell Law Offices is more than just a firm, its family. Lauren has a way of cultivating an atmosphere that makes you feel heard and welcomed. Our family has personally BENEFITED from the knowledge and wisdom Mrs. Powell has to offer both professionally and personally. When we needed assistance getting emergency POA paperwork in order and when we needed counsel on family masters she was there to help guide our family. Powell Law is a team so anytime we needed it there were other attorneys with years of knowledge and resources that were available to us. I also had the honor of working with Powell Law Offices @ their Michigan location. They realized the importance of allowing families to be part of their office and always put a huge emphasis on their employees putting family first. The Texas location even has a room dedicated to employees children who at times needed to go to work with their parent. This was such a relief at times, when a sitter cancelled last minute. If our child(ren) had a school function during a normal work day, they allowed their employees to take time off to join them. Other benefits included extended time off during holidays, lots of personal vacation time, fully funded family vacations and cruises. Lauren knows that happy employees make for great employees. I highly recommend Powell Law offices for both representation and employment!!!

My now ex-husband went bats%^t crazy after he turned 40 and blindsided my kids and I and left our family. Apparently being with an ugly, homewrecking floozy whos a decade older than his wife/partner of TWENTY YEARS was more appealing. Seriously, whenever someone I knew saw a picture of this broad they stared in disbelief and would ask me, He left YOU for HER?? Needless to say, I discovered that I needed a law firm that could not only represent me during my divorce but could also have empathy for my situation. After going through the nightmare of having my daughter whom lived with me primarily not returned after a spring break with her mom, hiring Matt Towson as my attorney was the best thing I have ever done. When I found myself needing legal help, I contacted several Law firms. My needs involved, my child, born with Downs Syndrome, known in court as Adult Disabled Child. These cases are rare and We needed careful and professional representation. I am a 72 year old businessman that has owned or operated businesses for over 50 years. I have had the opportunity to work with over 100 attorneys throughout my career both for me and in opposition. I have also gone through 3 divorces. Not proud but a fact. This experience has educated me that there are good and bad attorney s. My recent 3rd divorce has allowed me the pleasure of working with Matt Towson. I highly recommend Mr. Towson for many reasons. He is a man of the highest integrity. When he says he will do something you can count on it being done without despair. Mr. Towson always kept me updated and even sent a few emails just to see how I was handling the situation. Everyone knows a good attorney can be expensive. What I found with Mr. Towson was something I have never experienced before. I paid a retainer up front for him to handle my case which is a normal request. What I found not so normal was that upon completion of my case he informed me he was issuing a partial refund as the case did not require as many hours as he originally anticipated. I recently went through a divorce. Originally, my ex husband and I tried to file ourselves since we both agreed to the terms. Unfortunately in my case, before we were finalized, my ex husband became difficult to deal with especially when concerning our children. Lauren and Emily are the absolute best!!! I was very hesitant to get a lawyer to handle my custody modification because I thought it would be too stressful and expensive to deal with. But when I had no choice, I found Lauren and I am so happy I did. She was so kind and easy to talk to. I felt comfortable telling her about all the issues I was dealing with. Her and Emily were very patient with me, and answered all of my many questions throughout the whole process. I ended up getting everything I had to go to court for addressed and resolved. It is very rare that you find a lawyer who is both sympathetic to your situation, but also great legal representation as well. I have already recommended her to a friend who is working with her now, and will recommend her to anyone who is in need of a family lawyer.

Lauren is the woman you want on your case! Shes knowledgeable, kind and genuine. But, she is also a bulldog. She will make sure youre represented to the best of her ability and I assure you, opposing counsel is kept on their toes. Shes helped put me at ease after hours with a custody issue. Theres not many worse feelings than custody disagreements but Lauren made sure I knew she would take care of my needs. She also calmed me down with simple facts. Its easy to get up in arms and believe things might happen that actually wont. Lauren didnt use that to her advantage to get me to sign. She cared more about putting me at ease so I could think clearly. I hope I wont need her soon but feel confident should I need her, she will be there.

I am and attorney in the DFW Metroplex, and have worked with Lauren on a few cases now. We refer cases to one another from time to time. Lauren is not just competent, but she is patient and kind to her clients, colleagues and employees. I dont know who would ever call Lauren the worst attorney in the Metroplex, or who Ace Tangiers is, but I suspect he (or she) has just eaten a sour apple and is trying to take it out unfairly on Lauren. Do not buy bogus criticism without any sort of detail in the negative review.

Upon arrival, I was greeted with a smile. That alone sold me. The assistance I received was very impressive, because I didn t know what to expect. All of my questions were answered, and even though It took me a minute or two, to formulate my words exactly how I wanted to present them. I wasn t rushed at all, that was comforting. We all hear stories about how Attorney s are. Not here...at least not with me. In my opinion, if you need assistance with some legal issues, I would highly recommend making the call and setting up an appointment to see if your needs can be addressed. When my consultation was complete. I left this office; knowing, in which direction I should go and how to proceed. I wasn t pressed to do anything in regards to my legal issues.
