I had read the reviews for MIA LEM and wanted to visit because I love Banh Mi sandwiches. I stopped by on a whim, and it did not disappoint. The only issue was that they did not have the vegetables for Pho, which was disappointing, and I will return to try again. The young lady at the counter was very sweet and had full knowledge of the menu and even gave recommendations. I hate visiting a place and asking the staff questions about food, and they dont have a clue. This young lady was welcoming and friendly. She even gave me a sample of an artichoke drink that was amazing and delicious, really refreshing, not at all what I was expecting.

I frequent this location often, and dont get me wrong the food is very good, and the prices are fair. My only issue is with the staff member at the front, specifically the young Asian girl with glasses. I usually dont care much about service (as long as food is good), but her unwelcoming attitude has made me uncomfortable. It seems like she doesnt enjoy her job, and this is evident both in person and over the phone.

The pho was delicious although I would add more salt. Fried shrimp really good, like Japanese tempura. Calamari was not good, very dry like jerky, never experienced that before I always like calamari. Very friendly people and accommodating. Bahn mi meatballs were enjoyable. Was a great place but we have seen some things from the front Latina girl that just did not sit well from a sanitary point of view. The food and drinks are great. Just make sure you go 1 hour before closing if you wish to dine in or you ll mostly likely get kicked out by her. A place is only as good as the people in it - Pittacus Lore

Their spring rolls are good but disappointed because they cut down on the amount of sauce they add in their little containers. It is an order of 2 spring rolls and they fill up the little container about halfway or less sometimes (in some instances). I asked for an extra sauce and they charged me almost a dollar for it. So I figured, okay for 85+ cents, surely I ll get a full little container of sweet and sour sauce. Pictured above is my extra sauce. Please consider filling up the little containers for the customers. Y all did it before because I used to get these a few times a week.

Small family owned place. Food is good and price is affordable. The cashier in the front was friendly but he s struggle a bit with the line. The wait wasn t bad. My banh mi and sugarcane drink freshly made took less than 15 so i didn t mind. Would recommend if you have not check them out. Support your local businesses. I was treated so unkindly by the cashier, who assumed I was another black customer and gave them my food ahead of me, causing me to wait another 15 minutes, for what I was already waiting 20 minutes for. Ughh, I m so disappointment and disgusted. This place is right by where I get my nails done and I wanted to try them out. I wanted to try the eggrolls. I called and ask specifically if they have meat in them and the person working there at 6:50 on Thursday (9/28/23) told me no it doesn t have any meat so I placed an order. I started eating and something was off. The ingredients are are so finely chopped so it s hard to tell but it kind of looked like meat I continue to eat because I was told it didn t have any meat and as I was chewing the texture started to feel like meat. I call back to double check and I asked what ingredients are in the eggrolls. The worker says vegetable and pork after previously telling me they DIDN T have any meat. She checks my order and states Yeah you ordered the regular eggrolls with pork. The only reason I ordered them was because you said they didn t have any meat. You can t even trust workers to be truthful about what your asking about. If you don t know just say that. Ughh. Then she says what do you want to do. Like are you kidding me no apology or nothing. I m so disgusted.

Updated- Teatown in Plano- their taho is $4 for 12oz. Please go support them. Singapore tofu is overpriced! $3.50 for a tiny container. They use the sauce container for it. Sugarcane drink is filled with 2/3 of ice for $6.99. Wouldnt go back here again. They have a few tables inside for sitting. They also have some snacks but everything is overpriced here. We dont mind if the food is good for overpriced items but the food, drinks, snacks are nothing to talk about.

Quaint family owned restaurant with GREAT customer service. We ordered egg rolls, shrimp Vietnamese rolls, crispy shrimp skewers, chicken skewers, Cato gumbo, and tropical sparkling soda. Altogether made a very filling lunch for me and my partner. Everything was really good, fresh when it came out, and the soda was made right in front of us. Definitely recommend.

i really liked it personally! i heard alot of good stuff so me and my friend decided to try it, i got taro milk tea which was delicious, cato gumbo which was also good but i personally would have preferred it to be spicier in my opinion, the shrimp springrolls which were great especially with the peanut sauce (which had a great consistency). i also love that they included gender neutral bathrooms and their decor is so so cute!! definitely coming back!!!

Great family owned lil shop, I recommend the cato gumbo and the banana ice cream. The gumbo was hearty and perfect for any weather , served with just enough rice to keep me full. My husband and I stopped by this cute shop! Drinks were very good and they got our drinks out fast despite being very busy. Will be coming back next time we are Texas!

Cute shop with drinks and snacks. I ordered the brown sugar boba, kumquat sugar cane drink, crispy wings and a boba waffle. The boba was chewy and the drink itself had a lot of flavor without being too overwhelming with sweetness. I usually can t drink a lot of boba but I finished this one! The kumquat sugar cane was my favorite! I ve never had a sugar cane drink before, and it s such a flavorful drink. It had a mildly sweet-tart flavor with hints of citrus like oranges and grapefruit. Super yummy!! The wings are huge. They look like a bigger version of the wings you would usually buy from the store. Crisp and flavorful. The sauce was really good too. Ended my visit with a boba waffle. A crisp outside and a fluffy inside with boba pearls. Nice buy. Shop owners and staff were very kind. They had a small tray of snacks for sampling so I was able to pick from the menu easier. Definitely a place to check out!

Today we tried Mia Lem for the first time and were so happy we did! The space is clean and inviting and the ladies who served us were super sweet and helpful! Their menu is easy to navigate and is comprised of banh mi sandwiches, fresh made drinks as well as sweet and savory snacks. We ordered spring and summer rolls, egg rolls, two banh mi sandwiches and two drinks. The peanut sauce for the spring and summer rolls was tasty and both types of rolls were yummy. The shrimp in the spring roll was perfectly cooked and the salad inside along with the vermicelli was beautiful! I really enjoyed the summer roll as well because everything, the thinly sliced sausage, egg and the rest of the filling was so thoughtfully put together. I liked that the rice paper used for the rolls was a bit thicker, making for a more satisfying, hearty bite. The egg rolls tasted so clean and were elegantly executed. The wrapping, color, texture and crunch were perfect and the filling consisted of a tasty combination of mushrooms, cabbage, carrots, meat with a bit of bean thread noodle. This is the best egg roll Ive had in a long time. It comes with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce. I got the combination banh mi and my husband got the grilled pork banh mi. They were kind enough to cut them in half for us so we could try each others. The meat in both was perfectly seasoned, the veggies were fresh and vibrant and the baguette was crispy, altogether both were delicious! My husband got the classic sugar cane juice which was delightful and refreshing. I got a favorite of mine which not everyone makes, sugar cane juice with durian essence. It is the best version of this drink Ive had:-) Ill be trying the kumquat sugar cane juice next!

This place is so good! I got the spring roll, summer roll, and egg roll. I really enjoyed how fresh everything is. Also got to meet the owner and tried the milk tea. Everything was delicious and the staff was great. 11/10 would recommend.

Get the fried chicken. Just do it! The CRUNCH is incredible! The sauce it comes with is really tasty too but its so well seasoned that I honestly didnt think I needed the sauce. It was still nice to have. The nuoc mia is good too!

Andrew came by to drop off eggrolls and Taro milk- I work close by.. I just referred one of our locators there for lunch. When I tell you these are the best eggrolls and Taro drink, I ve ever had! Just amazing. I ll definitely stop by for lunch.

nice little hidden drinks and snacks place, brand new shopping center. Great tasting food, so many unique items to try. If you are a foodie its a must try. Cheapest price in town too. Cant go wrong with their bubble waffle and banh mi xiu mai. Im a picky eater and I tried many places, this is the best so far. I was looking for an afternoon pick me up and decided to try Mia Lem. It is a Vietnamese snack and drinks shop that has Bahn mi, egg rolls, bubble waffles, and other desserts and snacks. I got the grilled pork Bhan mi and it was savory and delicious. Pork had a good flavor and the veggies were fresh and crisp. I also got the egg rolls which were filled with pork and vegetables and served with chili sauce. They were also very tasty. I got a green tea and it was brewed well, not bitter or weak. The staff were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely be back for more drinks and snacks, and I look forward to trying more on the menu!
