Awful children are in charge on the weekend. I love this place in general. On the weekend they intentionally put beans and rice on top of the taco and Gordita so the meal becomes a plate of slop. I will skip the disrespect next time. Parents need to get the children to respect the people keeping them in business.

Very bad service, it happened to be an order of tortilla and they asked me what time I pick them up and I told them that between 4 and 5 they asked me for my cell phone number and I told them that for the number and they told me that for Remind me that I have to pick them up and since I had a party time ran out and Ellas never spoke to me and I arrived to pick them up at: 450pm and they were already closed, the door was closed and the lights were off and they ended up without an omelet for my party and Ellen called me to get my tortillas until Sunday another day at 11 pm when I no longer needed them, she arrived with my receipt and told them to give me a refund for the ones I bought because I never had the merchandise with millet and duella Erika Duarte refused to give me the tortillas with money so I had to make a report with the police and they attended to the house and gave me money for my tortillas and besides but very bad service, many lack of customer service and good manners, they are people without any education In order for your business to continue growing, you need to know how to treat your clients with respect because your business is standing up because the customers want to bite the hand of those who feed them. I would no longer waste my time and money in this business with people. Badly educated, well, they lost several clients because of my acquaintance and family. They are not going to consume anything in this place with cockroaches and guacatelas mice how disgusting

When I went to get my tortillas at 5:00 and they said they were closing at 6:00 they were already closed and I cant get my money back and and they didnt want to give me my money back and and theyre in the wrong so yeah dont get the food from there because there horrible service is horrible.

We have quite a few pupuserias here in GP but El Carreton is definitely my favorite. I can tell when food is made with love and let me tell you, with one bite you feel the love all over. I always order 2 pupusas, one of chicharon and one of frijoles con queso and 2 tacos of asado de puerco en chile verde. MAAAANN!!! The best!!! So delicious. The best asado in GP and some of the best in DFW. The whole menu is tasty. Give it a try folks. Good homestyle food made with love. Just like mamita used to make.

I dont think we will be going back to eat here. The food is not made fresh. Its reheated. Which i think it is against regulation to store cooked food and not throw it away when the day is done. The food used to be good here. The pupusas are so thin and hardly anything in them. Sorry, but they lost our business. Parking: Parking in front of the restaurant is a bit tricking. Only handicapped spaces and others marked for the other places of business. The laundromat next door takes all the spaces. You can park in the grocery store parking lot and walk.

I am going to give them 4 stars for the following: when ordering through Uber Eats, the accessories for the pupusas, which are the curtido and the tomato sauce, were not added, I dont know if they handle them in the restaurant, but in any pupuseria it is something It already comes in the order, and in case it didnt come, we didnt realize it because it wasnt specified, so be careful with that. I ordered barbacoa tacos, I really liked the texture of the meat, most of the barbacoa tacos that I have consumed elsewhere seem more like a desebrada than a barbacoa, at least I like that its mixed and thats how it is, Very tender and a little chubby, just what is necessary. The tacos come in a double tortilla and are super filling. I ordered 5 and with 3 it was great! The green sauce is tasty, the red one is spicy, a bit watery, if they integrated some tlaquepaque sauce they would lift those barbacha tacos with toño! My husband, who is from Salvador, rates the pupusas with a 7, apparently they lack a little flavor but I think that more than anything it was the accessories to his pupusas (which he did not receive) for which he gives them that rating, to me They seem to be a good size, and the texture looked good, they were not burnt on the outside like in many other places when stew is coming out. I hope to visit them soon and see what other things they have on the menu!

I have been to this place plenty of times. I always order the Pupusas plate with the rice and beans. The last two times I ve ate there, within minutes my stomach starts hurting a lot, feels like cramps and I start feeling nauseous. The first time I thought it was just the heat but this second time, I felt really sick! Had to run to the restroom immediately after eating one of the pupusas! I won t be going there anymore.

A long time ago there was very good service from the staff. There have been 3 times now that I go and order something to take away and when I get home I realize that they give me something different than what I ordered. The owners are very friendly but their workers always serve you reluctantly.

Would not recommend. Came here for Pupusa and Taco de Chicharrón. The chicharrón was very spongy, looked like the type you get at grocery store and was quite flavorless. The Pupusa tasted unbearably sour, I was a regular here, I figured it was probably a bad batch, I was more than ready to give them the benefit of the doubt. I notified the waitress to which she notified the boss. The boss proceeds to tell me that their food is fine and that he can t do anything about it because it s likely my tastebuds that s the issue. No apology, no concern, it s your fault not ours so deal with it. I won t be back.

The packaging they use for takeout is cheap foam. Their meats that have broth or consomé is very runny and spilled out from the foam into the plastic bag. The flavoring of the meats is very bland and has no spice to it, if any. At least their red taco salsa is good other. I feel like if they do not take the time to carefully package their food they actually have no pride in their cooking and are just making what gets by. Their food looks like cat food, so presentation is terrible. However if youre in for a quick fix and heavy meat meal they are generous with their portions. I ordered red and green pork. Their red pork was better than the green. The green one is the one that looks like cat food. I also ordered the pupusas and theyre nice and housemade. However they charge extra for sauce and cabbage slaw. They put the rice and beans in little plastic containers that probably cost more than the amount of rice and beans they can fit in. This place is not recommended for anyone vegan or vegetarian. Im actually quite disgusted with their pork meats. I will not be returning. Thank you for the meal. Best of luck.

Very good food and great customer service. Beans were a little too watery for my liking and not much flavor but went well paired with the food. Pupusas were great! It was terrible, I asked for 3 popusas de revuelta. And they gave me 3 popusas of rajas with cheese. However, they asked me to pay for them when I didnt even have to pay for them because it wasnt my fault, but rather the fault of the old deaf woman who took care of me. I will never return there. And yes I could give zero stars.
