Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Raising prices for smaller portions. Also you can hardly ever even place an order because no one will ever come to the front and take your order. Everyone looks so sad to work there because you can tell the corporation does not care about their workers or customers. Place is always dirty too. Super bad problems with their app and reward program. It s sad, I grew up on this establishment and I can t really say it s getting better. But nothing is permanent and hopefully they will change after this.

The one thing I will say is the quality is always good but this isnt the first time this particular spot has pissed me off. Tonight was told 20 minute wait if we stayed in drive through but less if we went inside so I opted to go inside. It was 17 minutes inside AFTER I ordered my food. Was in line inside at the very least 5 minutes before i ordered. Fast food my ass

Went through the drive-thru and the person on the speaker who took our orders, goes by the name Ethan, was very rude off the bat. I said clearly that I wanted the #13 that is the chicken strips but would like the chicknbites as a sub with Honey bbq dipping sauce. My order was completely wrong after they reassured me twice that what I was saying and what they were saying were the same thing. Got my order and no my order was wrong. Was not at all what I wanted. They gave me the whatawings instead.

The quality of food is as good as the customer service. Spoke to Manny, he was extremely unprofessional and rude. Refused to remake the food they clearly messed up on even with receipt and food in hand. When I asked for his bosses name he said that I could find it on google. When i asked for the unit name he said once again that I could find it on google. By far the rudest manager i ve ever encountered at any whatabuger location.

Im not really against fast food places, I like trash food a lot. However, I dont know why people love this place so much. Ive only been here thrice, and in MY opinion, the burgers are flavorless. All you can really taste are the sauces you put in, and the fries are way too salty. It is a great place to eat since its an afterhours spot, and here in San Marcos, there arent many options open after midnight. The servers are awesome. Really do make everything quick. Atmosphere its ok, nothing special. Overall, to me, its an ok spot if you party (I dont). But this is most likely the spot you want to go to get the afterhour munchies or alcohol settler before you go home and pass out. Vegetarian options: You can choose to have extra veggies for your burger and make them have it on a separate plate (small little salad)

Tried coming here for a quick bite, as one should with a fast food restaurant. My partner and I walked in to no line and maybe one or two tables seated. After ordering two simple meals off of the menu, I waited about 20 minutes for Manager Sandra to finally confront me with my order after I had to ask them for an update twice, I can understand being slammed, I have worked for fast food myself. When we confronted Sandra about our concern for the excessive wait time and quality of our uncooked chicken, she reciprocated with attitude and no remorse for our time. While it is a fast food restaurant quality can t always be expected, but this was downright awful customer service.

First time ever having Whataburger and as a person who grew up on In n Out... I have to admit it... Whataburger has them beat. Burger was amazing and fresh, fries were great and nicely salted. The only thing I will say is that while good, the strawberry shake has not beat the one I got at The Habit in California. 10/10 would get this again though. Service was fast and good and the pricing was amazing. 4 meals plus an extra side and we only spent 45$ total.

This Whataburger is closest to my house, and after long days it s my favorite spot to hit for me and my son. Sometimes the orders aren t completely correct, but this afternoon I had the pleasure of Tanner taking our order. I went to order inside whataburger and usually there is very nice company but I noticed when I came in the lady with the mask was being rude to someone waiting for his order, then before ordering she was being rude to a worker that was being extremely sweet and telling him to not get flustered when he was just doing his job. Stopped by to grab a quick meal for myself and a couple of other people. I ve ordered from here 6 times now and it will be my last. Every single time the drink they gave me was watered down and disgusting. It takes 1 minute to change the drink machines but yet not one of the 10 coworkers there do so. The store has also forgotten the side of gravy 3 times now in a row which we pay extra for. Fast food is not hard to work in as long as you can read and do your job. Apparently they don t do that here. It shows from how disgusting the inside of the store is and how mediocre the food is. Please just save the time and go to different restraunt. Burger King is better than this place and I usually get sick from it.
