Second event I ve helped plan here. Owner is extremely experienced, kind, and knows her stuff. Location is perched on a hill and has an amazing view. The buildings are both quaint and sprawling. It is just big enough to be impressive, while feeling strangely homey. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Perfect sunset in the evening, visible from the main pavilion. Small prep kitchen is quirky, but useful. Multiple rooms inside the house for prepping. Ample space for a variety of uses. Unique bar area, dance floor is a large open deck that is slightly separate from the pavilion. The pavilion area is gorgeous, with a giant stone fireplace, pillars, gazebo, and antique doors. There s sun walls and rain/heat walls that can be raised or lowered for shade, rain protection, or heating or a/c capabilities. Most recently we held a benefit concert there with a live band, food trucks, and around 100 guests. Such an amazing venue.

We just got married at Kindred Oaks the end of April this year and we can t express how happy, grateful and amazed we were on our wedding day!! Everything went better than we could have ever imagined! The staff, (Elaine and Julie helped us the most) but every single person there is simply incredible. They handle everything so beautifully from the moment you agree to host your wedding there until the day it actually happens. The vendors we chose for our day, which Kindred Oaks works with side by side, are also outstanding! All of our guests were raving about the venue itself, the food (Courtney s Catering), DJ Stephen, the bar service and the overall staff. Our wedding day ran so smoothly; I didn t have one bit of worry the whole time, and that s saying a lot coming from a Type A individual lol. We can t say thank you enough!! Our wedding was special, beautiful, and unforgettable all due to the expertise of Kindred Oaks staff. Future brides and grooms, you won t regret choosing Kindred Oaks. They are A+++

An affordable outdoor venue with twinkle lights, a nice dance floor an (optional) all inclusive package, and an involved owner who has the whole staff working like a well oiled machine. These folks kept us on track to make sure we hit all our deadlines in reaching out to vendor saving us needing to hire a wedding coordinator too. Other reviews that led us to choose Kindred Oaks spoke extensively to how responsive and friendly the staff was at KO, and they were 100% spot on. Planning a wedding is stressful even with an all inclusive package, but you can save yourself MOST of the stress by booking with these folks. They are the sweetest, most helpful vendor out there, and the whole place is just GORGEOUS. You absolutely cant go wrong with Kindred Oaks

Do not pass up this venue! Our experience was amazing from start to finish! We chose to go with the inclusive package and I cannot express enough how much stress that took out of wedding planning. We LOVED going to the open houses and meeting all the vendors and seeing our options. Every vendor we chose was from an open house or their preferred list and they were all AMAZING. Elaine and team really go above and beyond to communicate and always promptly answered any questions or requests. The venue is especially STUNNING at night. The twinkle lights stragtecigally placed around the property are so beautiful. We got so many compliments on how beautiful everything was. I have been bragging on this venue for months and our day has finally come and gone and I dont have a single complaint. We are SO happy we chose Kindred Oaks and it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

A very beautiful wedding venue. The setup is perfect for large or small weddings. It has a playground on the premises if you plan to bring children. If you don t get married at Kindred Oaks, then you re not doing it right. My husband and I booked a Sunday Bride package. We are both very easy going people and had a very short list of requirements. The team at Kindred Oaks is so on top of everything, from your consultation appointment to the big day, everything was so smooth and easy. I had looked into other venues, we shopped around and priced out venues plus a la carte vendors, vendors with full/partial packages, wedding planners, the whole nine yards. Seriously, there was a spreadsheet. Kindred Oaks came out on top no matter how you looked at it. They walk you through everything. They connect you with the vendors they ve booked for your big day to go through the details. You make some very simple and easy choices and they re very transparent about additional charges for extras so you know exactly what you re getting. They are responsive and I was never left feeling like I wasn t sure what was going to happen come the day of. The day of! The one thing I did not want was to worry or stress about anything and that is exactly how it went. From the time we got there to the time we left, everything went off without a hitch. We left that night feeling on top of the world and so incredibly happy! My husband and I have been married almost 3 years now, our friends and us still talk about how much fun we had and how beautiful everything was at our wedding. Do yourself and your partner a favor. Book this venue. Book a package. They know what they are doing and will take all of the stress and headache off of your plate. Worth. Every. Penny. Plus, your guests will rave for YEARS!

We shopped around at lots of different venues but Kindred was the obvious choice. The tour was detailed and organized, they had quick responses anytime we needed to ask a question and very clear and well layed out pricing. The staff was all very welcoming and communicative. We unfortunately had to cancel due to an unexpected family emergency but I am confident the wedding day would ve gone as smoothly as everything else we d experienced from Kindred Oaks.

My now wife and I recently had our wedding at Kindred Oaks and we cant recommend this place enough. Kindred Oaks was the first venue we looked at and we loved it at first visit. We did our due diligence and checked out several other locations but they didnt come close to being as special for us. Were both pretty poor planners and were overwhelmed with the idea of planning a wedding for our ~85 guests but Elaine and her team really do make it easy. We went with their all-inclusive package which covers A LOT of the heavy lifting. For anything not included, Kindred Oaks has plenty of recommendations and will keep you accountable to make sure things are getting done. As for the special day itself, no one wanted it to end. Our guests couldnt stop raving how beautiful the whole night was with the twinkle lights, the floral designs and the outdoor vibe in October. 5 out of 5!

Then with the package, we were able to find some of the best vendors. With a summer wedding, it was lovely to have the misters and fans throughout the venue. My wife and I were so excited to have our wedding at Kindred Oaks. We had spent months planning for our special day and seen all the great reviews about Kindred Oaks which is what led us to them. Especially because we had planned this at the height of the pandemic, we liked that everything was outside to protect our guests as much as possible with covid. However it all turned around when the venue cancelled on us two days out from our wedding. My wife and I contracted covid a week before our wedding date and remained in isolation up until our wedding day. We even were out of the initial CDC quarantine period and had a doctors note saying we can continue with the wedding event. However Kindred Oaks felt differently and in their contract they had no clause or provision mentioning what would happen if they cancelled on the client. We were trying to work with Kindred Oaks even if certain vendors didn t show up but they still declined to host our event for us. My wife and I therefore had to plan and pay for a whole second wedding from scratch in less than 24 hours to host our guests and continue with our marriage. You can only imagine the emotional and financial distress we went through. And to make it worse after the fact, Kindred Oaks is not willing to work with us to give us our full payment back. To all future clients, make sure you read the contract carefully and make sure you agree with what you are getting into. Make sure you are protected if Kindred Oaks were to cancel on you last minute. It sucks that my wife and I acted in good faith all the way through and we got the short end of the stick.

I cannot say enough about how amazing my experience was here at Kindred Oaks. We had been to about 7 venues options in the SA/Austin area. This place fit our vibe perfectly. Elaine and her team were phenomenal every step of the way. We did the inclusive package where Elaine and her team took care of everything and helped us every step of the way. The venue is beautiful and unique. I received so many complements from my guests. Not only did I have the wedding I wanted, but at a price less than half of of what some of my friends had paid for in the past for their weddings. DO NO PASS THIS UP!!! INCREDIBLE VENUE AND STAFF! We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Kindred Oaks in May of 2019. Elaine and the rest of the staff were awesome! During the whole process they were reachable and responsive. My husband and I are from the Northeast so we used their all inclusive wedding package. The venue does not need too much extra decor as it is beautiful on its own. Our special day was absolutely gorgeous and our friends and families had a blast! All of our guests raved about how gorgeous and unique the venue was. On the day of Elaine was onsite and made sure that we didnt have to worry and made sure things went smoothly. Our whole experience was made less stressful and at the end of the day we knew we made the right decision with KO!

Kindred Oaks is an amazing venue and Elaine and Julie are so easy to work with and very understanding. Their packaging options make your wedding day stress free. I had heard it before our wedding but it definitely rings true when they say that you literally will feel like you are forgetting something. They take care of EVERYTHING in the Texas Package and the venue itself is gorgeous. If it rains and your ceremony is outside? No worries! They will just move it to the beautiful reception area inside! Dont like one location on the property? No worries! You can pick from one of the other multiple location options. I cant say enough about it, the open house events give you a great idea of what you can expect. The attentiveness of the staff make you feel reassured that everything is going to workout perfectly. And the pricing to have everything done is outstanding and actually probably cheaper than finding every individual vendor yourself! The flower shop is on the same property, the caterer is part of the package, the DJ can be part of the package, the day of planner is part of the package, the bartender is part of the package, everything is included except your choice of photographer, officiant, and the cake! Everything else is taken care of and you just pick your options! If youre like us and didnt want to have to deal with stressing over finding all the different people for your event, this is the place to go. If you do however, want to individually pick everyone you want, this is still the perfect venue to do it at! We are now the third couple we know of between work and friends who have been married here and we will definitely be recommending it to others.

Right from the jump when we first toured the venue, Elaine and her team were extremely informative and helpful to us being a young couple who had no idea how to plan a wedding! Throughout the entire process they were so kind and helpful with any questions we had and always responded quickly. The property is absolutely gorgeous and accommodating, and the scenery and trees surrounding it make it even more magical. Both my husband and I have our own businesss we did not have time to do all the planning. Kindred Oaks made it so easy with there all inclusive plan. Elaine and her team are absolute professionals! They have most everything covered when you book Kindred Oaks. As a bride during COVID, I didn t want to have to worry about much of anything and if you go with this venue, your prayers are answered! The only real decisions you make on your own is finding an officiant, getting a cake and transportation really. Everything else is taken care of in the Texas Package. My wedding ran seamlessly. Elaine and her team have it down to a mad science to where the bride and groom get to really enjoy themselves and their guests. The venue itself is so romantic and having Zuzu Petals on site makes it even easier when picking out your florals. I would recommend Kindred Oaks a million times. You won t be disappointed!

The entire event was well-run and we received many, many compliments from our guests on the beauty of the venue. Every email I sent was answered promptly. The level of communication was wonderful. We celebrated our daughters wedding to her best friend on July 11, 2021 at The Kindred Oaks venue. It was absolutely beautiful! Everyone at the venue made the planning for this special day easy, since we all live away from Georgetown. Elaine was so helpful to my wife as she planned out the details of our wedding, very supportive, patient, and responsive to all her questions. Kindred Oaks is the absolute best! The venue is incredibly well kept, has a dozen gorgeous spots for your big day, and Elaine and her team are amazing with their communication and support the whole way up to the wedding. We got married on April 24th 2021 and it was beyond perfect. They even have an onsite B&B that you can stay at if youd like to skip the post-wedding travel. There are no words to describe the amazing treatment my family and I received. From start to finish, Elaine, Heather, Elaines husband, THE ENTIRE STAFF was HEAVEN sent. I got married Feb 25th 2021, so yes, it was covid season. We all had the best time of our lives. That day Elaine and her staff did everything and anything you can think of to make sure everything went perfect. Honestly, I cant stretch anymore how amazing these wonderful people are. This location is a gemstone! My husband and I were initially only going to Lincoln Chapel because I fell in love with its beautiful modern architecture. And our initial plans were only to carry out an elopement but, after wandering around we discovered KindredOaks and the moment we saw it we also fell in love with it. So our plans immediately changed and we are glad we did because this place is a wedding dream from the bridal room to the dance floor, dining area and the stunning landscape with those big love letters that make great for a backdrop. All of our guests kept complimenting the location we decided to plan our wedding in. And the best part of all the owner herself is genuinely kind and prompt with all email correspondence. What a beautiful venue. My daughter was married there on March 6th and it was the most magnificent day of her life and ours. Elaine and the staff made the day seem effortless. We did not have to worry about a thing, they took care of everything. If there is one place I would ever recommend for people to get married at or even host parties at, it would be here. Words cannot describe how absolutely perfect our wedding was thanks to the Kindred Oak family. My husband and I visited SO many venues and we were about to pick between 2 others when my husband made one last appointment at Kindred Oaks. From the moment we stepped out of our car we knew we wanted to get married at KO! Not only is the venue welcoming and beautiful, but we instantly felt like family when we met with Elaine. The whole KO team made our wedding planning process a total breeze and I could not be more appreciative of everything they did for us to make our wedding day everything we ever dreamt of. We were one of the couples that unfortunately needed to postpone our big day due to Covid (our original date was at the end of March 2020). We were 2 weeks out when we had to push our day; Elaine was so incredibly gracious and went above and beyond to make sure we still had everything we initially had our hearts set on. This venue is truly amazing. And the DANCE FLOOR! Magical. The best decision we made!

We had to do a venue switch 2 weeks before our wedding and I swear by an act of God, we stumbled directly upon Kindred Oaks and everything fell right into place! We truly fell in love with this venue which is both elegant, rustic and has a very warm nature feel! The ceremony and reception sites are on property and absolutely beautiful. One of my favorite characteristics of this property is the dance floor which is open and has chandeliers hanging from the trees above you! It is such a unique venue as you are outdoors but is covered so is already your backup plan! Elaine was very nice to work with and we could tell she cares about the Bride & Groom and is very great to work with. We just wish we could go back there and relive our entire wedding day there because it was just perfect. Thank you Kindred Oaks!!

Elaine, Heather, and the Kindred Oaks staff were amazing to work with. Of all the venues we visited, I felt Kindred Oaks was definitely the most us - we loved that it was outdoors and beautiful but also not extremely formal or rustic. Basically you can do as much or little decoration as you want to make it your own. It was exactly what we were looking for, had a solid backup option for rain, and the price was great (we re from Houston and looked at venues here and in the Austin area). What really sealed the deal was how much we enjoyed chatting with Elaine during our visit. She made us feel confident that we d be taken care of and working with them would be fun, and of course, we love that it s family owned. We asked a ton of questions and they were very patient and helpful and chimed in with advice or suggestions where needed, which I especially appreciated since we didn t have a wedding planner. They also have a Day Of Coordinator option which is especially important if you don t have a wedding planner and it s nice to have someone familiar with your venue. We had a ton of outside of Texas guests and this was a beautiful place to host them and we could not have had a more fun wedding!! We highly recommend Kindred Oaks as a gorgeous outdoor wedding venue but also for the value. They are great people to work with and the venue has various offerings that can save you some time and cost - they re BYOB (which is a huge cost savings) and have an onsite florist, which is super convenient and saves on delivery costs. They have a list of recommended and preferred vendors but other than bartender and security (totally understandable) you re free to choose your own. We are so happy with our venue choice and would recommend Kindred Oaks to any couple!

Kindred Oaks is such a gorgeous and delightful venue to host a gathering. We have such a large group of family and friends it was so hard to find a venue that had everything we were looking for, that was until we found Kindred Oaks. We loved the layout just because people don t have to be so cramped during your wedding/reception. There is a yard for games or a cigar bar, a playground, a covered area with fans, and a beautiful dance floor area. Not only does it have amazing grounds but the staff go beyond any expectations you could ever have. The customer service you will receive is absolutely top notch. You won t regret making the decision to host your next event or wedding here!

If I could rate Kindred Oaks higher than 5 stars, I would. I guess Ill start off with how wonderful Elaine, the owner, is. From the moment I stepped onto their property, she was so welcoming and nice. I really felt like I was home when talking with her. She not only gave me all the information I needed from day one, but sat me down and explained everything in detail. No surprises from this venue, because she explains it all. Even before we decided on Kindred Oaks, she would email me just wondering how our search was going and put no pressure on us at all. Once we decided on Kindred Oaks for our wedding of about 120 people, she and her crew there were in constant communication with me through the entire experience. I never once felt like I was planning this alone, ( I never hired a wedding planer) and felt like their crew were the unsung heroes of the night. They helped me with every little detail and kept me on schedule for all of my other vendors I was looking for as well. They helped orchestrate the rehearsal onsite the day before, and they helped the day of the wedding run so smoothly. Lets just say the day of our wedding went perfect because of them. The next thing and a HUGE thing that I can not say enough is, THIS VENUE IS GORGEOUS!!! I fell in love with this place the moment I got there. The pictures on the website are just a little glimpse of how beautiful this place really is. Kindred Oaks has lot of land, multiple open areas for guests to walk and mingle, a giant wooden LOVE sign that is lit up at night, a beautiful wooden deck with a tree in the middle, and a pavilion with a fireplace and old wooden doors on one side. Another thing that I really liked was the kids play ground they had off to the side. Our wedding was kid friendly and that was such a plus to have that day for the kids. The inside is accommodating with a bridal and groom room to get ready in and a private honeymoon suite to end the night with. If you love the outdoors and twinkling lights on oak trees, this place is for you. The final thing that really impressed me about the entire experience was how they had Heather with ZuZu Petals (flowers) on site for me to visit and talk about table decor, flower arrangements, bouquet... everything! It made things really easy to visualize what our wedding would look like beforehand, and that helped me feel like everything was going to look perfect. It looked more perfect that I could ever imagine. ZuZu Petals listened to me and went above and beyond with my vision. If you are looking for a venue that has a great package deal, and is also extremely beautiful, just go to Kindred Oaks and talk to Elaine. I promise you will not regret it.

This is a great venue for weddings, family events, etc. There are two dressing rooms for weddings. The bride and groom can stay at the venue overnight which is a nice idea. It has large open spaces outside for outdoor activities and a special place with a overlook for wedding ceremonies. It has a large room with tables and chairs that has roll up doors all the way around that roll up during good weather and down if it rains or too hot or cold. Ample parking. For the wedding I attended, there was a DJ booth and a dance floor. The only strikes Id give it is that they are very strict about alcohol consumption. If they even see an ice chest, they will be keeping an eye on you! Dont bring your own. No drinks served before the ceremony. No shots, no doubles, no on the rocks. Theres a cop on duty. I guess I can understand that because the road going out there is pretty winding. I dont know the exact price but I got the impression that it is not cheap.

Our daughters wedding was magical. The staff at Kindred Oaks is outstanding. From the moment we signed a contract to the actual wedding, every detail was looked over with precision. The grounds are gorgeous with numerous places to take wonderful pictures. I strongly recommend the package deal as it saved us money and allowed us to do things we might not afford otherwise. The day of our daughters wedding we feared it would rain and the staff was fully prepared for anything weather wise. We had a short rainfall but that allowed the photographer to take pictures with rain as well as the sun. I thought I would not hire a wedding planner but Donna Aleman came highly recommended and she was spectacular. Donna helped me decide where to spend my money and what to skip. She held monthly then weekly calls with us (we live on Galveston Island) to review the status of our tasks. She was patient beyond belief and worth four times her charge. I totally recommend Kindred Oaks to anyone seeking a romantic and beautiful setting. We spent four weekends touring all of Austin and surrounding area before we found Kindred.
