My mom, my sister, and I chose to do painting here as part of our girls weekend for some relaxing fun. We had a wonderful time painting a fall truck with pumpkins! Our host James was so chill and so welcoming, he really made the whole class feel at ease and there was a lot of laughter. He even went above and beyond the given painting and gave extra tips on how to really make it your own. I will admit that we were hesitant about spending the money (it seems high cost), but after going through the class, I consider it 100% worth every penny. For two hours, materials, the space, being able to bring your favorite wine, creating something special, and a great instructor, its a worthwhile experience. We will definitely do this again in the future. Cant recommend this enough for a good time with friends or family or even just for personal enjoyment.

Jen was a blast! She was super helpful and made sure to keep the fun going. There is even a shelf with paintings you can buy off of them if you find one you really love. I can say the one down side is the a/c. They are not allowed to have central air due to the building being under apartments. But she does have fans and other ways to help keep cool. It was a lot of fun!

I brought a good friend who had never done anything like this before, and she had the best time ever. I had done this previously so I knew how it would go for me. Seeing how much joy my friend had was awesome. Our instructor was patient, calm, and made the experience great. I cant recommend this enough. This is a great date night experience. Even if you think you have absolutely no artistic ability (as I did my first time) you will be pleasantly surprised at what you can create following the directions of the class instructor. Its awesome!!

Came here as a big group for the open studio event (where we can choose any artwork we like). I chose the 16x20 canvas which I didn t realize was that big! We all had a blast and especially being able to bring our own food and drinks was great! Jennifer our instructor was amazing and so patient! She taught us all techniques to help us, helped us rectify our mistakes and for some even help finish their paintings! It was definitely a fun event to go with your girlfriends for and I m hoping I ll return soon too!

This was such a fun experience! My best friend took me here tonight for my birthday and it was epic! I love the painting that I did. Im going to hang it up in my room. So much fun I love that you can bring your own wine coolers and snacks. The teacher April was awesome! I was there Saturday night and had a disappointing experience. Couldnt hear Jackie because the music was too loud. When I asked for it to be turned down I received a lecture on how the music is supposed to be loud. Jackie stated she was supposed to have a microphone to give instructions over the music. She didnt use a mic. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

I was there on November 9, 2019. Jennifer, the instructor, was awful. The music was turned up so loud we couldn t hear. We were told that Saturday was party night and if we wanted the music turned down lower, we needed to come during the week. We had very little help from her. I paid $40 just like everyone else, and I feel Like I just wasted my money. I will not go back to the Garland location again. In my opinion, she should not be instructing anything; she s a horrible instructor.

My coworkers and I went to Painting With A Twist for our quarterly Team Building. We had so much fun! We painted a pumpkin scene. The instructors were great. Very encouraging and gave clear directions. They played fun music everyone liked and we all left with our paintings. The building is clean and well-maintained. Plenty of parking. Near nice residential area.The staff , especially Jennifer was quite helpful.

So much fun! They set the calendar a month ahead with pictures of each day, so its easy to find something that youd like to paint. The staff is awesome! I cant draw a stick figure and my painting turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. Cant wait to go back. (And you can bring snacks and byob) And you leave with a fun piece of art you painted! Great for Daye night or a girls night out!

This is a really fun place, where you can take classes for most ages. They have an adult only class where you can bring a bottle of wine or beer. If you arent interested in that you can take a teen class or kids class,where you bring a snack. The only problem with this place is that what you paint is not exactly what is shown online.

This is my new addiction and it WILL be yours too if you try out this place. The instructors walk you through each painting step-by-step and the atmosphere is light and so much fun! You do not have to have any skills to make a masterpiece here. All you need is some friend and well, wine doesnt hurt either! This places is great for date-night, girls night out, birthday parties, or just something to do on a Thursday! I highly recommend this place and have gone so often, it kinda feels like a second home.

I LOVE Painting With A Twist in Garland, TX!!! They recently moved, and although I never took any classes in the old location, I can say that the new location is excellent for parties and classes! Ive done 3 classes there so far, and I am absolutely addicted!! Even if you think you cant paint - take a class - you will be pleasantly surprised! The new location is a work-in-progress, but from what I have been told, when it is finished this place will be fantastic!! The artist/teachers are so kind and patient - they encourage everyone to relax and have fun while painting. Check out the pictures of some of the paintings that are done here - in classes that last 2-3 hours!! You walk away with a one-of-a-kind piece of art and a sense of accomplishment!
