La Cotorra used to be my favorite place for tacos, but lately they have been charging an arm and a leg. It s ridiculous. I get that the prices are up right now, but I have found other tacos spots that are just as good and aren t asking for your first born. El Paisa is our new spot!!! Food is always on point.

Amazing food. Amazing salsas. Had the trompo tacos and burger. The meat for the burger is perfect too. Even the onions were perfectly grilled, unlike some places that give half raw grilled onions. Anything with avocado tasted super fresh and creamy as well. Wherever they get their products or how they prepare it, its just amazing.

Total disappointment, they charge for a taco and they dont add vegetables to the tacos and for the order of 25 tacos they only gave me a small glass of vegetables (onion and cilantro) and the attitude of the lady who served left a lot to say. Terrible service

They are very pigs, they dont wash their hands and they also give you a price but when you pay they charge you another and I cant tell they are taxes. Since if you pay with a card they have to pay the bank, not the clients. I know business too.

This place never disappoints. Its been feeding my family and friends for years and will continue being a customer for many more. Staff is friendly, food is always delicious, friendly warm environment. Dont let its small size fool you, what it lacks in space it make up for in taste and authenticity. It is truly a hidden gem of the DFW. Keep up the good work.

I bought trompo tacos on Sunday, February 2, 2023 and I live until Mesquite TX when I got home I opened the plate for dinner I was too hungry and the pork was raw I dont know if they know but pork is bad if its not okay. Browned so if I get sick we will sue them I have proof I ate two raw tacos and then I had to brown the meat well how about I buy tacos so I can come and cook them at my house that cant be possible they ruin my Sunday pay more attention owners to those workers

Absolutely love their Tacos de Trompo. Did you know if you buy 20 you get 5 free? Well at least it had a banner in there last time I stopped by. Just try to remember theyre usually closed Wednesdays otherwise youll keep calling trying to place an order ahead of time with noone answering.

What disappointment took me this time!! It was my favorite restaurant since the last time I went with my boss!! I always order a gringa and two babrbacoa tacos!! I really liked this place!! Every week I ask for the same thing!! And this time it was the second time that my gringa had little cheese and with potatoes as if it were for a kids meal!! And my tacos with the cold barbecue literally!! I think Im going to stop going for a while!! My boss and I went yesterday!! The trompo tacos were delicious and with a lot of flavor!! I love it!! But just one little thing, I think they have to improve a little bit in sauces!! But it will definitely come back

I had to edit my review bc now their corn tortillas have a weird sweet taste. Also their trompo meat most of the time is raw. I have to come home and cook the meat for a lil longer bc Im not going to eat raw pork meat. So good we didnt get a chance to take pictures. Its a really great spot for tacos de trompo. The salsas are the stars, so delicious! the habanero one and the tlaquepaque sauce are served warm and the creamy green one. Just mouth watering. Small spot, clean, friendly service and good prices.
