I ve been obsessed with don burger for a couple of years. I ve told everyone to check them out. Up until tonight (9-27-24). I ordered a turkey burger off Uber and received a hockey puck between two buns that tasted like old oil. I m so disappointed not only because Uber doesn t refund for bad food but because I ve loved this place for such a long time. This was the worst food I ve ever tasted. It was harder than my dog s jerky treats. I don t know what happened here but I don t think I ll be returning.

GREAT neighborhood burger joint. Big, delicious burgers at a reasonable price. I love their French fries as well. Only downside is limited fountain drink selection. The place is always busy so your wait will be a little longer than McDonalds, but oh my is it worth the wait.

Its been a while since I had eaten here, so I was looking forward to a burger. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger (minus the bun) combo with a 32oz drink. When I got to work I was disappointed. The burger to me was overcooked. The fries were greasy, soggy, ordinary shoestring variety. Order felt like it took longer than necessary.

We just had Don Burger for our first time and we were very impressed. The burgers were fresh, delicious and huge!! The lettuce, tomatoes, onions and all the other ingredients inside the burgers were nice & fresh! I had the aloha burger, onion rings and fries. The onion rings were crispy and tasty. I would definitely recommend to everyone. Definitely worth our money. Hopefully they continue serving great food cause we will definitely be back!!!

I had the Goomba burger, it was delicious! For your side you have the option of onion rings , tater tots, or regular fries. They honestly have a pretty big menu with lots of variety of burgers, they even have a vegetarian option. You order your food and beverage, you get a number and once your food is ready (by the way it s made fresh to order) they bring it out to your table. This was my first time here and customer service was 10/10. Food 10/10, it was great! Vegetarian options: They did have a vegetarian option in their menu. You can add or take anything off of the burger you choose. Kid-friendliness: It s a kid friendly environment, very family oriented.

My husband and I love Don Burger! We live down the street and will have it for dinner every now and then. On Monday we order our burgers with an order of fried pickles. Barely any in the container. We called and left our info for the manager to give us a call. Never heard back from anybody. I explained to the person that answered the phone that we believe our order was incomplete. There was barely any fried pickles and for the price we paid definitely not what we received. It is a little upsetting because we do love Don Burger, and it was a chance for them to make it right. But they chose not to.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. They will literally give you a small amount for the sides. I paid $7 for the fried pickles and I got 14 chips. Like what?! When I got there, I told them it was an online order and they didn t even know they had my order and started it when I got there. Had to wait for my food and got one my burgers wrong. I dined in here once and the portions were huge. Disappointed and never ordering online again :(

We decided to try this place one evening for some burgers. We entered and you order in the back and was greeted right away. The gentleman took our order, while the gentleman in the cook area came out to talk with us about what we like. Told him it was our first time and was excited and said it would be good and if anything is not to let him know. I ordered the Don Burger and my partner ordered the Aguacate Burger. They cook everything fresh when you order. The Grill is right in the front so you see them cooking your burger and making your fries. You can talk to the cooks, spoke mostly Spanish but the other gentleman spoke English. Very nice Atmosphere where you feel like you are visiting friends. They give you a number and bring your food out to your table. The Don Burger was one of the best burgers I had in a long time. It tasted so delicious and was put together picture perfect. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. My partners burger the Aguacate Burger was fantastic. Cooked to perfection not overcooked and dry like some places. We found the restaurant was very clean. We cannot wait to return again and again. Anytime I am in the mood for a burger this is where I will be going.

Well I ll start off by saying that the burger is worth the money and pretty good once you get it. The fries on the other hand kinda bleh and cold. When I went in there were maybe 12 people total in the place. 6 waiting for food. I ordered my food and waited and waited .and waited. I tried my best to be patient but once it reached the 45 minute mark I had to go back to the front counter and ask where my food. I was told it would be 8 more minutes. When I asked why is there t an hour wait for a burger and fries he said well we can t give it to you raw, we have to cook it. And I was like it don t take an hour to cook a burger. Well we have call in orders that we have to take care of first and then we ll get to you eventually. It wasn t very busy and they just don t have the staff that can keep up with even a moderately busy day. A wait time should have been given at the time of order. I don t have 45mins to an hour to wait for a burger. Add to that when they eventually dropped the food off they didn t apologize l, ask if I needed anything, and just dropped it off and darted away to avoid being polite. I wasn t being rude to the staff, I would never do that. I m in the service industry myself for a long time. Even on our busiest of days in a full sit down restaurant nobody would ever wait 45+ mins for their food without an explanation or apology. And then the food wasn t even hot when I got it. Fries were cold and at that point I was in a rush to get on with the rest of my day. Like I said the burger was good/decent but not worth waiting THAT long for and it wasn t just me others were complaining to each other too for how long they had to wait. Bottom line if you have 45mins - an hour to kill waiting on a burger and fries you won t be disappointed. If you re looking for quick and friendly service then you might want to go somewhere else.

This place is great!! Lots of choices on the menu, Favorite so far has been bacon cheeseburger, crispy bacon ( unlike most places soggy, undercooked bacon ), ½ pound burger cooked to perfection, substituted tater tots instead of fries, also cooked right, not soggy. Don Burger is located on the corner of a strip mall off Broadway in Garland, very casual atmosphere, employees are friendly, attentive, and make you feel like they really appreciate your business, which in this day and age is refreshing. Reasonably priced meals around $10 per person, considering youll pay that much at any of the fast food chains, hands down Don Burger has them beat all the way around. Give them a try, Ill definitely be back!

My husband, and I shared a Dons burger it was delicious! The burger was juicy big thick burger patty, lots of delicious flavors an absolute delight! Fries are delicious theyre seasoned fries in house. Weve already been back three times and will continue to go back. We will never go to another burger place. We will always go to Don burgers. 2024 UPDATE!! Still a GREAT BURGER place!! I order Mr Bacon combo with yummy, crispy & crunchy Tater Tots!! Never overcooked. Everything cooked fresh. They toast the bun inside & out. Juicy & very tasty burger patty. Looks to be shaped by hand. Got the Combo which included a huge hot Bacon Burger, Tots and drink for$10 & change. Great deal! Great Burger! Great place to eat. People have raved to us about Don Burger. We are totally unimpressed. The staff are friendly, theyre working super hard. But the food was substandard. The burger (mushroom Swiss goomba) was bland, so too the sweet potato fries. Almost flavourless. The milk shake was full of ice chips. Fries, Burger, shake, churros: $25. Total overpayment for mediocre food.

I searched for the best burgers in Dallas and I think I found them. Hand smashed, fresh made to order, including the hand cut fries. We didnt try the hand scooped milk shakes but looked tremendous. We had a turkey burger and one of the houses specials, and two kids meals. All were cooked perfectly and classicly made. Glad we made the detour.

The service was great. The young man kept checking on us. The taste of the hamburger was one of the best ones Ive had and the cost made it all even better. The atmosphere was relaxed. Overall, I highly recommend and have been recommending it since we discovered it.
