Super friendly service and amazing food. I found this place just driving by and I stopped by this morning for a couple of breakfast tacos. The service was extremely welcoming and friendly. The breakfast tacos were absolutely delicious and freshly made to order. The prices are great as well. I will be back next time I am in town!

At first glance, the place doesnt leave much for expectations. That being said, the service was awfully slow. I was third in line and it took about 20 minutes to get my 2 bean and cheese tacos and 2 chorizo and potato. The bean and cheese was filled so little that when I opened up one of them to put hot sauce in, it did not complete a single layer over the tortilla, leaving tortilla exposed. Thats how little filling the taco came with. It might as well have been a half filled bean quesadilla. That being said the flavor was abysmal as well, I dont know how you mess up bean and cheese tacos but these guys managed it! The chorizo and potato werent even potato! They mixed up a 2 ingredient taco and a simple 4 taco order. The chorizo and EGG that they gave us was super gooey instead of fluffy. The tortillas..... just no. At least they smiled and greeted me before taking my money for this horrible experience

Came here for lunch with a few coworkers. Menu is simple, but has nice choices. The place is simple, outdoor eating only, so keep that in mind. They do take CC as well as cash. Ordered the gorditas asada, and was not disappointed at all. Great flavor, nice crispness and their salsas are pretty good as well.

I am a trucker and I love their soft tacos... Their coffee comes with cream powder... That needs to be improved but this is not a coffee place anyways :) Food is awesome... They make their own tortillas!!!

The appearance of the establishment makes you wonder what the health department score is for sure. I stopped in to grab a taco as I was waiting for my appointment next door. The young lady at the counter greeted me with a genuine smile which is nice. I ordered an egg, bacon and bean taco. It was VERY flavorful, very delicious. I could only imagine what it would ve tasted like on a homemade flour tortilla as opposed to the store bought.

In the post, it says it is open on Saturdays, I traveled for a few hours and it was closed! and just when I arrived there were many more people returning because it was closed! They should put a sign or something warning that it will not be open.

Not worth it. Rib plate is 2 rib bones. Beans another serving of beans 3 tortillas for $10. I was left hungry. Very expensive for 2 small bones with little meat. I wont eat there again. Its not like the other dishes are but I dont want to investigate

Im obsessed with this place. No, like... My friends had to have an intervention with me because I was spending so much money here daily. The breakfast tacos, the quesadillas, ugh... Everything they touch is absolute gold. Especially the aguas frescas Except for the watermelon aguas frescas. That drink is awful and no one should buy it (The previous statement is not true. I tried to make a joke but I cant even do that about my precious watermelon aguas frescas. Im really just saying that so they stop running out of it because its so damn good). Seriously tho.... This is absolutely my favorite place in Texas much love to yall, always

Absolutely the best Alpastor tacos I ve eaten. And I m a Mexican food connoisseur. $3 per taco for the best Alpastor is a price I m happy to pay. On your way down 35, stop at the TA and come across the street and give them your business. They re absolutely worth the walk.

We got Asada and pastor tacos great flavor/ texture & salsa is on point. BUT portion size is crazy!! If I pay $15+ for 4 tacos I expect to be full by the end of it. It s disappointing to get a tiny taco that can be finished in 3 bites. When you think of good Tex mex you think of big tacos that you ll be left satisfied with. Opening these tacos to see a small portion of meat & a tiny sliver of avocado is just sad. Please do better, again flavor is ON POINT always but due to portion size is why people will think twice about going here.

Hands down the freshest, most delicious breakfast burrito Ive had here in NB. The chorizo egg and potato burrito was . Not too greasy, which I normally see with chorizo, but packed with flavor! I may need to go back and beg for that potato recipe they werent crispy nor soggy they were perfect with every bite. This was my first visit but I hope this experience will remain consistent with my future visits. Will get photos next time. This time I didnt take any. I just enjoyed every bite.

Ever since we have found this place we have stopped. We have tried lots of Mexican food here in tx and this is the best by far. To top it off its by a truck stop so food for us truck drivers. Only downside is they are only open for breakfast and lunch.

Walked over from the TA this morning (12-13-2022) to get a breakfast burrito. The smell was intoxicating and the local Latino community was lined up in front of me to order, I lived in Arizona long enough to know this was a good sign. I ordered two chorizo burritos because I wanted to have one left for tomorrow. I was a little surprised by the price (almost $20.00) but I don t eat out often so maybe things have changed. They allow you to tell them what s in the burrito rather than just a standard which was nice. I was more than happy when I grabbed the bag and felt the weight once they were done. I got the salsa verde and walked balk to my truck to eat. OMG!!! The burrito was fantastic and the salsa verde was even better. I drive all over the country and very few places understand that even green sauce should be spicy but they nailed it here. I will never go past this place without stopping unless I absolutely have to.

Their food is extremely good and cheaper than I expected! The workers were also very kind and I could tell everyone was working as fast as they could to get food out. They have a breakfast and lunch menu and both are definitely worth trying . Parking: Its in an awkward spot across from the truck stop with honestly nowhere to park except in the grass on the side of the road or at the nearest gas station. Wheelchair accessibility: Because theres not a sidewalk or parking lot leading to it, its very hard to get by if wheelchair bound

Ordered 3 tacos: pastor, asada, and alamexicana. All were delicious and the salsa were as well. Decent portions, $3 per taco. Not the best bang for my buck in terms of volume but full of flavor. Did have to wait about 15 minutes but only because there was a large group of 6 or 7 people in front of me. Will definitely be back to try more!

Opens at 6am. Excellent food. If your at the TA truck stop parking lot its a small shack across the street right behind the fuel island in the same parking lot as the truck wash. Walk up to the side window to place your order. My favorite is their pork rhind ( Chicharon ) Tacos soaked in green salsa in a hand made tortilla. They put just enough green sauce on the pork rhinds to soften them up without making it a complete mess to eat. The picture attached is their Adobada ( marinated pork) Torta. One of my usual stops, good homestyle food and convenient to just park the semi at the TA and walk across the street.

Definitely a must try! Stopped at the TA truck stop and was parked here for a couple days on a 34. I saw this place while I was walking my dog and decided thats whats for dinner. I had the tortas asada and they reminded me of abuelas arepas. Very very good and very fast on the lunch break. They also have real Mexican Coke and green and red hot sauce thats a bit on the fire side. Really really very good Im going to come back, the pricing on the menu makes it easy because its exact. When I went there I got two fortas for $6. Its made fresh to order, its definitely not something that sits under a hot lamp.

I love this place! Good value, authentic (as far as I know), and delicious! My favorite is the barbacoa burritos. The barbacoa meat is moist and tasty. Perfect ratio between lean and fat. The ingredients in the burritos are well-balanced and generous. I feel full after eating one whole burrito. They give you hot sauces on the side. All 3 are too hot for me. Also, you can buy barbacoa from them on Saturdays.
