Our third or fourth time visiting. Food is flavorful and always good. A great choice to try something new. Most dishes are adaptable. Our meals could have had more quantities and my drink needed more texture / ingredients. Service is a little slow but friendly. Its a very casual laid-back place in a strip center. We shared the food family style. Prices are average. We will definitely be back again to try more dishes. Im already hungry!

Dallas doesnt have many options for pinoy food. Some dishes in this store are good, and some dishes are not authentic. This time, I ordered 5 dishes, and I recommend for Pinakbet, this dish are pretty fresh and yummy. I will give a bad review for Lechon Kawali, lack of seasoning. The Fish Ball, Pancit Bihon and Igado are neutral.

We got the Chicken adobo, Lechon kawali, and the Pancit bihon. Food was good. My favorite item was the lechon kawali. It was very crispy and flavorful. The chicken adobo was just alright. The pancit bihon was pretty unique.

Food and service were good. You can sing karaoke on the stage. The place was almost empty when we arrived at 5pm so we were attended immediately. Lechon kawali is crispy. Halohalo is ok. Lumpia is ok. Papaitan is not bitter but its ok.

Food is what accounts the most when we go to a restaurant. And the enjoyment we achieved afterwards. Taste of Philippines is undisputable on the top list for foreign dishes. Though the food is tailored for local Americans, it undoubtedly maintains its original Filipino savor. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Tsste of Philippines to any of my American friends, or anybody in general. Give it a try. 4* atmosphere does not imply much of anything - a little custom designing will add glamor to the place. Thank you to all the folks working here!

Bring your own bagoong (salted shrimp fry) if you want KareKare ($22). Very stingy with bagoong. You have to wait for a second stingy tiny serving of bagoong while she serves an EMPTY table. Meanwhile, you cant eat bec kare cant be eaten without it.

Spoke to a very nice waitress and she gave me great recommendations but since it was my first time trying this restaurant, I went with a more traditional dish and it was absolutely perfect. Told my wife and family we will eat here next time because it is way better than all the Vietnamese food places around here. Ive been looking for good Filipino food and stopped by because of the good reviews.

The food was excellent! I ate the Kare Kare, and it tasted like what my mom would make. I loved that rice wasn t extra $$ like other restaurants make it. The fishball appetizer wasn t as savory or as crunchy as when I ate it in the Philippines as a kid, but I won t fault them too much for it since the main entrees were so good!

Heard about this place on IG. So I had time to kill and drove out to garland on Saturday 8/12. I would have loved to try out the food. They sat me down but no one took my order or even offered a glass of water. Waited a good 20min (yes I time it), while waiters just walked around me. So I just left. Oh well, all I can say is it smells good.

What a great find so close to Rockwall. I was doubtful of ever finding good Filipino food in the area and so happy that this gem is so close and serves up some GREAT food. Lumpia shanghai is on point-would like just a *little more filling though. Great value in terms of portions for the price Sinagang- great flavor. A little neutral, but most will enjoy it- I like mine super sour. Pancot bihon- wonderful. Love the large pieces of pork Sisig- top 5 sisigs Ive ever had. Great flavor and spice was very good. Finally, the oxtail kare kare- HOLY $H!T!! IT WAS PERFECT. LITERALLY TASTED LIKE MY LOLAS DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS FOLKS. if its available, order it- extra bagoong! Thank you TOP!

I believe that this place could be a hidden gem. Having a best friend who happens to be Filipino helps me say this. Both the lumpia and pansit was authentic as if your mother may have made it. I will definitely go back if I in the area.

Very delicious food, I absolutely love the atmosphere here, its very nice and clean and the food just made my day. They have this ice cream thats made from yams that my son could not stop eating, it was delicious. We really enjoyed ourselves here and will be coming back. I would say the best dish we had so far was the sizzling sisig, omg a most try, it was super good. Oh and the fried coconut dessert was really good, it wasnt very sweet as I thought they would be.

Frequent customer here. Food is always delicious & fresh. My kid loves the spaghetti, mom s favorite is the sinigang na pompano, husband and I have tried everything on the menu (literally lol) but his favorite is Bicol express & mine s the sisig. Ordering online or by phone is quick & easy, and the food is always ready on time.

Ordered a food catering size worth couple of hundred dollars yesterday 7/3/2021. When we pickup and ask for rice the restaurant staff told us that this size or amount of food that rice is not included .I asked them rice should be in abundant but our pleadings didn t matter we went home without rice, pork bbq also was not cooked properly it s tough or chewy , other foods on their menu is descent but they it need some improvements.

Small menu...and great food. I am always looking for Filipino food in the dallas and surrounding areas. This is my 2nd time here this week. I feel like this is going to be a regular food spit for me.
