DISAPPOINTING, BLAND TACOS, CARELESS SERVICE. I ordered a two-taco plate with chicken fajitas and fish. The food tasted bland and flavorless. The waiter rang up the wrong item (lunch enchiladas instead of two tacos).

I don t hand out five stars lightly. Taco Ocho is a place I would definitely recommend. Came in on a Saturday afternoon around 5 PM. The crowd was light and we were able to sit down right away. Good options to drink and I really liked the chips and salsa. For my first time here, I ordered a taco plate that comes with white rice and black beans. There are several different options from other Latin countries, like a version of a Cuban sandwich and there was a dish styled from Puerto Rico and Peru, so this isn t your standard Mexican taco joint. Got our food quickly and our server made sure to check on us and refilled our drinks before we thought to ask. Go try Taco Ocho. There s good variety on the menu and the food was delicious.

I had a disappointing experience at Taco Ocho. Firstly, the prices were steep for what you get. The lemonade tasted like glorified tap water, lacking any real flavor or zest. And dont even get me started on the quesadilla it had a strange, off-putting taste that left a lot to be desired. Overall, not worth the hype or the money.

The worst Margarita I have ever had in my life! Taste horrible! Actually no taste which is the problem. Street corn was okay, not even gonna try the tacos if they cant make a proper Margarita. Bartender was offended because we left, maybe learn to make Margaritas and your guest will stay longer.

Breakfast order here. More colorful than a Chipotle, but needs maintenance. Food portions are a little too controlled and lean. Eggs and potatoe are plentiful, but chorizo and bacon short supplied. No Pepsi or Coke so prepare yourself. Probably a great option for the area, but salsa served cold and nothing noted unique makes this a local only favorite. Introduce cheese and more combo options with a little less stress on food costs and you have something everyone will appreciate.

Great food, but service is getting lousier This place always had great options for carnivores and herbivores alike. However, they used to load you up on salsas, mints, and extras with a smile. Now if you tip less than 30% on a to go order, you get a scowl. All the extras are gone too, and portions are much smaller.

Awful place. Served cold food. My taco did not come with potatoes as it said on the menu. I asked the front lady to give me refund and she refused. She was very rude and only spoke in broken English and threw attitude. She proceeded to speak in Spanish after we were seated. **Update to add that I have gone back 3 times since then and then today as well. Today I finally tried a different Torta and enjoyed that one as well! I really wish the fries had some seasoning on them. They are always so bland and not crispy.** I had a random inkling to try out Taco Ocho for the first time tonight! It s literally right next to our apartments, and in such a convenient spot for us. Anyway, we ordered take out and I was very impressed by how fresh it was. It s hard to find takeout that still tastes fresh when you take it home. I ordered the Tripleta Torta and OH MY GOSH was it amazing! I ve never had a Torta before and I m so happy this one was my first. The meat was well seasoned, juicy, and they definitely don t skimp you on it. I could honestly share my meal with my husband as just one half of the Torta filled me up easily! Now I ll be on the mission to try all flavors of their Tortas! Hubby said the employees were great and the restaurant was clean too! I can t wait to dine in so I can get some pictures next time! Thank you Taco Ocho! I ll be back soon!

I love discovering new places that have good food and good drinks. This has both in a casual atmosphere. Great for a brunch or a quick lunch that might not involve adult drinks. This was my 1st time here and this place did not disappoint. Soon as my family entered, we were greeted with smiles from 2 employees. The food was delicious and fresh, but what stood out the most was the customer service. It was A-1! Good customer service has become a thing of the past these days, but NOT at this place. Several employees were very attentive and checked on us during our visit, but I want to brag on our server; eventhough I forgot to get his name, this young man was a breath of fresh air. He was so mannerable and kind....I hope his parents are proud because hes an awesome young man. My son left his wallet in the booth on accident and this young man promptly returned the wallet before we left the parking lot. Not everyone has integrity, but this guy was blessed with an abundance! You all now have me and my family as customers and I will tell our friends and family to visit this location as well

Ordered a water and a beer they were out of corona but I got a modelo which they did have then I tried the street elote . It is not bad just remember to mix it very well so you dont get any bland spots and squeeze the limes they give you. The salsas they gave me were really good the roster salsa was good and tomatoee and had a good flavor the green one was a poblano mix which was good but it was definitely spicier than the fire roasted. The tacos were good the Ocho Maya was just a veggie taco which was good added the roster salsa and it took it abit further. I added the green salsa to the other two tacos the coco chicken was smoky and it was alittle salty but it was good the beef Colorado in the other hand that one was good but it was spicy so watch out if you dont like spicy stuff. They were pretty good over all they the staff was pretty friendly and it was good over all. Very intresting inside but would definitely try again and try some diffrent stuff.

This place was taco heaven!!! It looks and feels like fast food, but we sat and were served. The service was beyond great, and the food was beyond delicious! My daughter said she actually dreams of their food! It was so incredible and we are looking forward to visiting again! We had the brisket nachos and combo fajita nachos. Both were tasty. The fajita beef was juicy and flavorful. The chicken was a bit dry. The brisket was average. We wished the brisket nachos had a touch of bbq sauce. The portion size was large, and the queso was tasty and distributed evenly. Our favorite thing was the fresh guacamole. This was my First time ordering Latin Veg Tacos, which become our all time favorite spot for latin tacos. Loved their cleanliness and ambience. The people were friendly and sweet. I ordered sweet potatoes & Black Bean Quesadilla and Eggplant & Red Bell pepper Quesadilla and Chipotle Chicken Nachos, the taste was absolute delight to taste. The salsa was fresh and out of the world. Everything was fresh and had a great touch to the food. I would definitely recommend this place for those who always tries regular tacos. This is the place for tacos lovers, who wants to try different flavours and taste. Finally, we are happy that we found a place to enjoy Veg tacos. Mine was a take out order, the max was just 15 minutes, I picked the order on going inside within 2 minutes, everything was fast and neat. Love the location of the place too. Vegetarian options: I was shocked on finding, that this place had vegetarian options, which made me to go for this place. I was pleasantly surprised it tasted great.

Excellent Mexican restaurant with tacos and tostadas near the intersection of Warren parkway and Legacy in Frisco. Very many vegetarian and vegan options on the menu make it am ideal place for a fresh bite and taste alike. Plates can be huge and perfect for sharing. Even the individual items are much in quantity than one may expect. So make vegan Tostadas on the menu. Will take a few visits before everything is covered. Definitely a local Mexican cusin and do not cater the normal soft drinks like Coke and Pepsi. Love the place.

We ordered one of the beef, one of the chicken and one of the fish tacos. The plate came with black beans and rice. First let me say the meat was moist and tender. The negative was nothing seemed to have any seasoning. Not even salt and pepper. It was very bland. Good, but bland. The queso was good.

This might actually be the best tacos I ve ever had. The Latin Love taco was phenomenal, so many flavors melded together and balanced perfectly - and the prices are so reasonable! Delicious taco options- including beef brisket, chicken fajita, and carnitas; but also vegetarian options too! This is not Tex-Mex! This place has great options from other countries south of the border. Service was great too. My only nit-pick is the drinks are just ok, a little too sweet for my taste. I ordered the jalapeno margarita for reference. Portions are great, my husband and I were pleasantly full after our taco plate dinner. This included rice and refried black beans, and chips and salsa. Best black beans ever! Well be back for sure. Vegetarian options: There is a taco section especially for vegetarians listed on the menu. Dietary restrictions: Were gluten free and we had options listed on the menu.

The two stars is for the great vegan menu! Unfortunately, my service has been less than stellar lately culminating in todays experience. I ordered online for curbside pick up and packed up my infant. I was unable to get through when I arrived. The phone would either just ring or Id get a busy signal. I unpacked my baby to pick up my order. Unfortunately, when I arrived home my two tacos were not rhe vegan ones I ordered. I tried to call so I could come pick up the correct order but cant get through. Paid for lunch I cant eat.
