I love this park, it s one of the few places where the water is clear enough for my dog. However, the best spot by the waterfall is often taken over by professional photographers setting up camp with a bunch of equipment and doing lengthy photo sessions. I ve been asked to move out of their way. I feel like the park should post signs that don t allow for professional photography sessions. This ruins the experience for others just trying to be out in nature.

Cute park area! Nice and shaded playground, very wide paved trail, and easy little walking paths down to the creek. Creek water is clean enough for some fun wading and kids or dogs to swim. Limestone rock bottom with occassional rocky pebbly floor. Playground: Very nice shaded playground, great for 4+ ages Dog-friendliness: Super dog friendly, on-leash only. Quarry has water areas for dogs to splash in, smaller dogs will be able to swim, larger dogs might be too shallow for a true swim.

The park itself is well maintained and sure to provide a rejuvenating experience for many kinds of visitors. The stream/pond looks nice too, from a distance. However, if you decide to go down to the water you can see trash scattered there - plastic, cans, sanitary napkins, etc. There are fish and tadpoles in the water so it may be better to not disturb them by going into the water. Parking can be tricky at busy times.

This is Frisco s hidden gem of a park! It s a stream of clear water that is about knee deep you can walk down for about a half mile and think you re in Colorado. Along the way there s a waterfall that the kiddos can play under. When you climb back up the bank and through the woods you come upon a a major greenbelt park complete with a great kids playground and a walking trail for the big kids. Highly recommend this hidden peaceful Frisco park.

I didnt spend much time in the actual playground, but behind the treeline are beautiful waterfalls and a slow, shallow stream that you can follow up the stream. It was a great activity to do because of the great outside. It was fun for the whole family. I cant wait to do it again. Be sure to bring water and a wet bag!

I come here to run (about a 5 mile run trail if you transfer when you hit Ridgeview Drive), and I also come here to let my kid play in the quarry and the various playgrounds along the trail. Very beautiful, the quarry is shallow but clear enough to see the small fish swimming inside. Great place to be as a family.

Super super fun park! The playground is good, but the creek is what makes this park awesome! We had fun exploring up and down the creek, observing all sorts of creatures in and out of the water. It is tucked in a neighborhood, and it seems like the residents treasure this place. It was pretty clean and well kept. The ONLY reasons for 4 stars are 1) NO BATHROOMS and 2) there is limited parking in front of the park.

I love this place. It s beautiful. All the green grass, the limestone, the creek and waterfall, the cool little hiking trails in the woods - All beautiful. What s not beautiful, is the fact that people love to come and visit this place for free and reap the benefits of a beautiful nature preserve and leave their trash behind. Who is even in charge of cleanup at Limestone Quarry Park? The concept of picking up trash seems to be nonexistent here and it appears that nothing will ever be done about it. I say that, because some of the trash on the other side of the creek has been there for a very long time. If you don t see the trash that I m talking about, take a few moments two walk a trail over to the creek and be disgusted by all the trash you see on the ground. Leave it up to man, to destroy some nature, build a park in it and then, not clean it up after trashy people leave their trash behind. This beautiful piece of land should ve never been touched and allowed to become a park. Pretty dumb to build something like this and not take care of it Anyone who reads this and cares, what can we do about the trash problem at this place? Remember, I m not just talking about along the edges of the sidewalk. Look just a little deeper into the woods and on the trails and it won t take long for you to notice it. All of you trashy people know who you are.

Nice neighborhood park. Frisco doesnt really have too many parks, especially compared to its neighbors - Allen, McKinney and Plano. Most of Friscos parks are sports parks. If you like sports, its great but if you are looking for nature, I would look at the surrounding cities and towns. Oh, and the waterfall that everyone is suddenly raving about, its runoff from the water treatment plant across the creek. Some people dont look before they leap.
