Taste of Pakistan restaurant is now closed. The new name is Bombay grocery and Kabab corner. It s a grocery store with a small restaurant. They have a couple of tables and chairs set up. They don t have a updated website. The food here is decent. Today, I ordered Mutton Karhai. It comes with 1 plain naan. The meat was tender and very tasty. I Think it was a little too salty for my taste.

I used to drive all the way from Mansfield TX to eat over here. But ever since new management took over quality and taste of food is not the same. It was the third time I went there ever since new management took over. Chicken Boti roll absolutely horrible. Naan wasn t even fresh. I had to throw it away because I didn t want to get sick. Really miss these old ladies working in front and in kitchen. They really how to cook reall authentic Pakistani food while maintaining taste, quality and prices.

The new Tamil management is bringing down this previously awesome establishment that used to be managed by Pakistani sisters. The quality of the food and the quality of the service has gone down about 90%.

The food is pretty cheap and tastes good. Definitely authentic vibes. There is a little store next door with a lot of Indian goods. The samosas were nice and spicy with great flavor. Same with the daal. I d get it again for sure. The meat was a little tough and had quite a bit of bone but was still tasty. Be prepared for a slight language barrier. I ll be going again soon.

The food is AMAZING, and the people that work there are very hospitable and inviting. There s a smidgin of a language gap, but that s actually a good thing upon consideration. Ordering by phone tends to require knowing what you want and not asking a billion questions, which is fine because I like learning about food and willingly mull over a menu, looking up what the dish consists of and seeing different variations of the same dish in the wild. The Bombay grocery in the same strip mall has great tea selection, and is fully stocked with plenty of friendly and smiling faces as well.

Ordered few Tandoori Chicken Breasts, Veg Biryani and Mutton Karahi, It was hard to make understand lady who picked up the phone. Reached the Restaurant little early although she said it will take an hour. Finally after an hour and so got our food to go. Tandoori Chicken was horrendous , very dry and seems like it was just prepared out of frozen meat. Seems like they messed up Mutton Karahi, I never tasted Mutton Karahi with tons of soury tomato sauce, no need to mention Veg Biryani which is in fact not Biryani rather mix of frozen veggies with Basmati rice and some Masala. Absolute wastage of time, money and overall bad food experience.

True small cafe style restaurant with good authentic food. Made by a few people in this small kitchen but offers a good variety. I ordered the butter chicken and rice, and they offer 2 huge pieces of naan bread to eat with. good value for the Bedford Euless North Arlington Area. Check them out. the scenery isnt the greatest, but you can always take your food to go!

If youre looking for home made style food made by your khala jaan then this is place is for you. The aunties (four sisters) will remind you of you khala, they are most loving and treat you with utter respect and dignity. The food is so good and delicious. I like their bun kabab, chicken Tikka and halwa puri.

This place should be closed by the Food Inspectors. The worst food I have ever tried in DFW area. I got Bun Kabab (Burgers) and Mutton Biryani (rice). Bun Kabab was ok but the rice was so oily that I felt like I am drinking oil and so I left after eating a little. Please do not even try this place if you are hungry and want to eat decent food.

Solid 4 stars Decor: 3/5 -its humid inside with intermittent circulation -very limited seating Service: 5/5 -very friendly, food came out 10 minutes Food: 4/5 -Beef boti roll was my least favorite. Meat was dry and wasnt as good as the other dishes -Butter chicken came in cubes. There werent much portions of chicken however the sauce was great. Excellent for dipping naan in -Nihari taste of pakistan specialty had decent large chunks of beef. The sauce was great but very oily -Beef Biryani was my favorite. Generous portions of both rice and beef -Overall these 4 dishes came to just shy of $30 and fed 3 adults. Not bad.

Food is Good. Small family owned. Fell like my Aunts are in the kitchen cooking dinner. Sparse for eating in, so takeout buisness is booming in the evening as people stop to get dinner. Im new to Pakistan food. Have not had anything I did not like. Inexpensive with good size portions. Stop by and try something new.

Great food and the aunties are polite. But, make sure you place your order over the phone ahead of time because you will be lucky if your food gets ready within 30 minutes. Not a good place to sit and eat since they only have 3 tables. But again, the food itself is great for take-out, and well worth the wait.

Excellent food! I highly recommend ordering takeout as the food is freshly cooked to order. Expect about 30 to 45 minutes per order. It is well worth it for quality and price! The Butter Chicken is excellent and recommended for first timers. I also personally enjoy the Mutton Karhai. Also, the Chicken Biryani and Samosas are absolutely amazing.

These folks should pack it in and go back to Pakistan. I wanted to order one thing from the menu but was told it would take about 40 minutes to prepare, so I ordered something else. The cost was $7.99. Asked what I wanted to drink, I said water, meaning, of course, a glass of water. I was told my total was $9.40. I asked how the tax could be that much and was assured the amount was correct. I was served a not-very-large bowl of 3 2.5-inch diameter chunks of beef in a lake of very oily brown sauce, and one big piece of naan, and given a plastic spoon. Later, having nothing but the spoon, I asked for a knife or a fork, and was given a plastic knife and fork. Later still, having not received any water, I went back and asked for it, and the old gal reached into an upright cooler and handed me a bottled water (which is apparently how a $7.99 entree could cost $9.40--she never warned me I was BUYING water and not just getting a glass of water, nor was it served to me).
