quite disappointed with the place. I asked for scallion noodles but got scallion pancakes instead. pancakes were subpar. It was like they deep fried it. the rest of meal were not much better. Even though I waited 15 minutes for the items to come out, none of them were piping or steaming hot. Pan fried buns were doughy and bottom was barely fried, the tofu rolls filling was not what I am used to and the sauce had already congealed when they brought it out. about the only decent thing was the chicken feet. to top it off, the meal was almost 60$ after tax and tip for the 5 items.

I recently dined at Bushi and was impressed by the delicious food. The flavors were authentic and well-prepared, making for a satisfying meal. However, I found the atmosphere a bit odd at first. When we arrived, there was no music playing, and we sat in silence for about 15 minutes. It wasn t until more customers arrived that they finally turned on the music. This made the initial experience feel a bit awkward. Once the music started, the vibe improved significantly. Overall, I enjoyed my meal, but I think having music playing from the beginning would enhance the dining experience. I would recommend Bushi for the food but hope they consider the ambiance in the future.

It s not traditional Chinese restaurant. Baozi are the pre made food. Other dishes are so sweet. 2 people cost more than $100 , not worth it at all. Maybe American would love the sweet and sour taste, not Chinese. Only Peking duck is okay. Service is good.

As far as dim sum goes, the food was decent. We got the Football, soup dumpling, hot oil wonton, chicken feet, chicken celery dumplings, and radish cake. The Football was good; nice and crunchy and full of flavor. The Soup Dumpling was pricey for just 5 pieces. You can definitely get better tasting ones with more pieces for the same price anywhere else. The flavor was also just decent. The hot oil wonton was good. Its one of their popular items. Nice and spicy. The chicken feet was delicious as well. Very saucy. My favorite item was definitely the radish cake. Good amount of ingredients used to make it and it was well balanced per bite. Very flavorful. The chicken celery dumplings came out pretty dry. You order through a QR code but youd still have to flag down the staff for the check. Overall, the food was decent. It didnt blow my mind despite seeing it as a recommended place for dim sum.

Great taste, great ambiance and great service. The dumplings were cooked to perfection and were very very flavorful. We ordered the soup dumplings, shrimp dumplings and shumai and all of them were very flavorful and perfectly cooked. This was my second visit to the restaurant and they maintain the consistency perfectly. The kung pao chicken and chicken with garlic sauce were amazing too but the dumplings stole the show. Really great experience.

Hopefully, its reflected in my ratings that the service was great and everyone was very friendly but the food was pretty bad. As far as dim sum places go, this place is far below average. One thing I did really like was that you just ordered from a QR code - really quick and simple - similar to what I saw in dim sum places in Seattle The skin on the shrimp dumplings wasnt quite cooked all the way through and instead of just shrimp like youd normally find at any other Cantonese restaurant, its was cut and adulterated with other ingredients. Shrimp and pork shu mai was decent, very mushroom forward taste (a good thing) but I didnt feel like it was heated all the way through either resulting in a solid hard lump. In fact, none of the steam trays (whatever theyre called) werent particularly hot to the touch when they were brought to the table. The chicken feet wasnt cooked long enough either so the cartridge and tendons were still a little tough and the bones didnt readily pull part in your mouth like it should. Flavor was decent through. Scallion pancakes were way over fried and saturated with oil, instead of layers in the middle it was essentially just one lump of dough. They forgot to bring our order of the pan fried radish cakes so I just asked them to remove it from our bill, likely would have been on trend. Imo, I ordered the basics of dim sum dishes, if a restaurant cant get these right, everything is likely going to disappoint too. First time last time unfortunately. Theres better dim sum out there in DFW. I feel like this place caters to people who dont really know any better.

There are so many Dim Sum choices and we are so excited to come back for more Service was very welcoming & attentive. Thank you Michael and Regine! WHAT IS PEKING DUCK? Roasted duck with Chinese pancakes that you wrap with sauce and cucumbers and onions The hoisin sauce was DELISH! WHAT IS DIM SUM? Small plates of dumplings and bites to share with the table.

It was our pleasure to come try this dim sum place out after Independence Day for our Friday dinner. It is funny that the door sign asked customers to pull harder because they know we are hungry. It is a small sized cozy type of restaurant that looks lowkey fancy. The temperature was cold like 65F (yes, if an overweight person feels cold, it s freezing for everyone else). Right when we had our orders in, I asked the waiter to turn up the AC and they respectfully did. When the food came out it looked great. However, the filling in the pork buns, and the ribs tasted a bit spoiled. The spicy boiled fish does the kick, but the KP chicken is unauthentic. It was supposed to be diced but they sliced it; it was supposed to come with peanuts and they didn t have it. Very price restaurant that had us billed $78 for the food shown above. Wouldn t say this is the best, but not bad for a try.

It s 8:50pm on a Sunday night. I drove 45 mins to come get some food. Only to be told by Li that we can t be served because their kitchen is closed. When they have business hours on google stating they close at 9:30pm. She said they close early on Sunday to clean. So are you only cleaning on Sundays? I m confused. Then I pointed out her door shows they close at 9:30pm and the kitchen closes 15 mins before that. She just brushed me off. It s upsetting when you drive 45mins. I m a regular customer here and this just makes me not want to come again.

I have never been at this place before although they have been open for over a year in Frisco. I asked for the mixed vegetables and I can say I wasnt disappointed at all! It was a good variety of veggies and the sauce was very delicious, the veggies were crispy and a very good portion. The service is incredible good as they have a person in the dinning room to make sure that whatever you might need is given to you right away. They accompanied the plate with a yellow vegetable pickle that I have never seen before and I have to say, its delicious!!! The price is a little more than the average Chinese restaurant but totally worth it.

The place sucks ,very bad service . The food we received was half the portions and when we give them the feed back the waiter was antagonizing us and his attitude was you can either shut up and eat it or leave which is geared to embarrass you in front of other patrons! The only thing they give you in abundance is white rice which they saved from cutting your fried rice portion in half .

I have been a customer to this place for over two years and I would always have to drive 50mins to an hour to come eat here. The service I got was very terrible and disrespectful. They stop sitting at 9pm and they close at 9:30pm. We got there at 8:50pm and ordered our food . At 9:34pm ,one of the servers starts vacuuming and scrapping chairs on the floor. I was uncomfortable with the sound the chairs were making, so I kindly asked if they could give us some time to finish our food before they start their closing duties . The other server walks up to the manager , and the manger walks up us and says we are closed and I say I understand that but at least let us finish our meals that we spent our money buying and we ordered at a time you were open. This is out rightly WRONG!!! I mean you are closed so I should get up and leave my food behind? What is going on here ? Is this now the new norm? We are closed, so please get out ? I would have appreciated a Hey , we are closed , we are not rushing you but we are about to start our closing duties but I got none of that . Definitely not coming back here , I spend a lot of time driving to this location and money on my food to be treated with such DISRESPECT!!!

As an introvert/neurodivergent, I love the ordering process. Scanning the QR code and being able to order on my phone is super convenient and I can customize without any misunderstanding or internalized shame. Very over priced for what you get. Good was OK not great. Half a Peking duck for 35.00 was not even enough food for 1 person. Walnut shrimp was not even crispy but soggy. Very lazy made shrimp tails were not even removed. Fried dumpling was flavorful. The shu mai was probably the worst I have ever had, no real flavor so plain looking. This is a more of a fast food restaurant. Overall not worth the money for the flavor, an size portion.

Called ahead & made reservation for small birthday party (5 people) for 7p. Stood at door for quite awhile before being acknowledged by flustered waitperson; it was soon very apparent that she was working dining room alone. Finally seated at a very large round table too large and awkward for our group of 5. We scanned the barcode menu and quickly noticed that most dim sum dishes were listed as sold out , as were several other items. Looked at other diners around us and noticed grim faces throughout the small dining room. No one checked on us after seating to offer beverages so we cut our losses and headed elsewhere. Hope they get their many issues corrected as online reviews were favorable & we were excited to try a new place. Unfortunately, our experience was not good.

Their dim sum is very good! The scallion pancakes and soup dumplings were great! They were out of BBQ pork when we were there, but were looking forward to trying it next time. We also tried the sesame chicken and hawaiian fried rice and both were good and reheated well for leftovers. It was quiet on a Wednesday night, but the atmosphere was nice. 4 stars instead of 5 only because it was a little pricier than we were expecting. Edit: Weve visited again since my original review and they have consistency. Past visit we ordered scallion pancakes, combo low mein, and chicken with broccoli as we werent in the mood for dim sum. The food and service is fantastic. I still think its pricier than we would like it to be, which keeps it out of our more regular rotation.

Food was dang good but thier ordering process was silly. You have to scan a code at your table and go online to place your order even though theres a waiter right there. Then like all restaurants these days, they ask for a huge tip. Basically all the waiter does is bring your food from the kitchen to your table. Dont get me wrong, our waiter was very nice and i left a small tip based on that alone but we saw him twice, once when he brought the food and once when he brought the ticket. This place needs menus.. Heck even menus via the scan thing is ok as long as you can customize your order with your waiter. In short, Id go back for the food ( we got sesame chicken and it was great) but wont go out of my way due to the silly ordering process. We got Sesame Chicken 10/10, spring rolls 7/10 ... When I asked for to go box, he dumped my left over soup dumpling into the box, making them smashed and soup all dripped out. I asked him to stop dumping my food and he said I thought you asked for to go box. I said yes for to go box but no one asked you to dump my food into the box. I paid cash and he gave me less change. Since it s only 25 cents, I didn t ask him for it but I decided not to give him any tips for rude service.

We also ordered the salt and pepper fish and the water spinach. Water spinach was super flavorful. Even though salt and pepper fish wasn t as salty/peppery as I usually like it, it was still very crispy and tasty. The main reason for a future return will be the kind service. There was even a power outage in the area due to Texas heat and they were so professional, communicative, and accommodating to every single table. They didn t skip a beat. We were so touched by their support. Yang is the manager, and was TOP NOTCH. We also loved that this Chinese restaurant served wine! Not super common in the area.

I love simple restaurants. Arrived around 1pm on a Saturday. Quickly seated. Ordered entire meal via QR code on my phone for a party of 4. Menu was simple and had pictures. The dishes came out one by one in no particular order. But it was absolutely awesome and delicious. I even forgot to take pictures since the food tasted so good. Ordered the Hawaiian fried rice. Very tasty.

Wonderful food, atmosphere, and service! We had the pork soup dumplings, pork and chive dumplings, pork and mushroom dumplings, and yangchow fried rice (one of the only places where you can get yangchow fried rice in town) SO GOOD. All the dumplings were rich and full of broth, and steaming hot upon arriving at our table. They also coincidentally put on my favorite Bossa Nova hits, so that s just a lucky plus.! Edit: The restaurant replied thanking for my 4 stars, though I wanna make clear that I originally gave 5 stars. Probably a misread

The first thing is that the staff are helpful and not condescending. . The food is very fresh. Many Chinese restaurants will have sauces that seem like they have set for days. All the food here was freshly prepared. Follow the favorites on the menu and you will not go wrong. We did the dim sum with crab, orange chicken, sesame chicken, cucumber salad. Strangely. enough I devoured the green. beans. They were perfectly. cooked and light seasoning. This place is now my favorite Chinese restaurant. Now I know what Hong Kong style is. Very reasonably priced as well.

Came here randomly cuz tired of my usual choice in this plaza. I ordered beef shumai, radish cake and beef tendon. Immediately I tasted a light orange peel flavor in the beef shumai, I was shocked, because this is the authentic way to make beef shumai, adding the dried orange peel. I asked the waitress if the chef is from Hong Kong and got a positive answer. Incredible. The pan fried radish cake is right on the point. The beef tendon, which used the same sauce like chicken feet, is flavorful, juicy and soft. I will definitely come back again to try other dishes.

Decided to try this place since it was close, just finished shopping at 99 Ranch. Wasnt expecting much from the ratings and was blown away. The food was so tasty. We had a the hot oil fish fillet, scallion pancakes, sesame balls, hot and sour and egg drop soup and vegetables with oyster sauce. Everything was so flavorful. This compares to the places back in San Jose that Im used to. So good!

I am Cantonese and this place is a hidden gem for TRUE AUTHENTIC Cantonese cuisine! The chef and the owner and even the waitress are all Cantonese. Their beef flat noodle is hands down the BEST in DFW! This is my favorite Cantonese dish and I have tried in almost every Chinese restaurants in all my 17 years in DFW and I don t exaggerate about the quality. You must try it! Guarantee no disappointment! And all the other dishes are all very good! I strongly recommend the carrot cake. It is also the best in DFW in my opinion. I go there at least once a week and I just hope not too many people find out about this place to impact the food quality.

They may have changed the chef. The food taste terrible in our recent 2 visits. Stir fry noddles has no flavor. The sticky stir fried rice portion was so small. Price if stir fried rice noddles increased from $14 to $16. Totally don t worth it. To go order ordered online says 20 mins for pick up. Waited 40 mins for it. Will not be back.

How you know a good Chinese restaurant? You check and see how many of their patrons are Chinese thats how you know they are authentic! This is my favorite restaurant in Dallas, thai chilli fish is the best I have had, big portions and authentic Sichuan cooking, they use the right crunchy bean sprouts not like other restaurants stuffed a lot of cheap Bokchoy, it has the thicker chewy flat noodles. Their chili chicken is awsome, the prawns, and best yet the fried sticky rice (normal fried rice is great also but they are one of the few restaurant that offers sticky fried rice). I bring my kids and my out of town friends here. Its also right in front of ranch 88 supermarket, which maybe one reason why I came here more than I thought. You gotta check this place out if you in plano/frisco area!

It s another usual Chinese place, nothing extraordinary. We ordered the spring rolls and soup dumplings for appetizer, they were good. The Orange chicken & General Cao Chicken were ok, both sauce tasted similar. Chicken fried rice was ok. I have had better tasting Singapore rice noodles elsewhere. Overall service was quick & place is clean, but not worth 5 stars.

You see a five star review rating and you think nah it can t be that good. I had to check it out. There was nothing about my lunch experience that would warrant less than five stars. Everything was better than anything else I ve tried so far. The sauces are made in house. That alone should tell you something. The service is first class. There s another telling fact. These people have high standards and it shows. The only negative is that I ll have to come back frequently and spend a lot more money to make sure. I have to know if the rest of the menu is as over the top as what I got on my first foray.
