UPDATE: After several more visits, food quality declined significantly. The smell of curry doesn t set well with me but if you re a fan of curry on your Buffalo chicken wings, this is your place. And restrooms have yet to see a mop, broom and cleanser; don t get me started on the mirror! Staff is still very sweet but not enough to warrant another visit. Sad too since this place is walking distance from home. Please hire a cleaning company and clean your restrooms! They re filthy! Service is awesome! Staff is awesome. Food is great! It s a great little cozy neighbor bar and worth it if you re into small sports bars with big screens. The service makes this place, especially Gaby. I feel like Norm from Cheers when I walk in. They know your name!!

Heard through the grapevine that Woody s was a Chicago Bears bar and since I m a big fan, I thought I d give it a try. There was a lot of Bears fans so I was excited right off the bat. Sat down no more than 10 feet from the bar and it mostly went downhill from there. Server walked up to us after about 10 min of sitting and just stared. Didn t say hi, didn t bring a menu, just eyeballs. I finally said hi after an awkward few seconds and asked for a beer and a menu. About 10 min later, I got my beer but no menu. 15 min later (after the server went out for a smoke break), I got my menu - well, because I went on the website never got an actual menu. Sat for over an hour before we got our wings it was a mess. I ll still give it another shot next year since it s a Bears bar but if it wasn t, not sure I d be back spending over $100 on that service. Wings were great tho!

Amazing spot for celebration and gatherings. Great ambiance with wonderful service. Food was served fresh and the quality and quantity is just unbeatable. We loved their jumbo burger, chicken strips with fries, chicken wings and veggie burger loaded with freshly sauteed mushrooms and veggies. Must try burgers in town!! Kids enjoyed their meal and altogether we re glad to have spent that evening at Woody s!

My husband an I were trying to unwind after Working all week, We Were going to do a date night but my husband loves football I decided to google sports bar in our area and I was surprised to find this place, wasnt a big crowd but very friendly service, the manager was very nice an made us feel very welcome, the wings were great and our server was excellent. Guess this will be my husbands spot for football season, not to mention we have cable sports package at home lol! Recommend this spot very cozy atmosphere.

Great place to eat, drink and watch sports on several screens! The service is friendly and attentive. Their chicken wings are the best in town! I love this place! The atmosphere (arguably the most important part of a sports bar) is amazing. We came here for the football game and they had an insane amount of screens! The DJ adds a lot and the service is great. The food in general is good. The wings are great, they take a while to make, but they are super flavorful and crispy. The sauces are awesome, I had the garlic parmesan and the Woodys special sauce. The garlic parmesan has a strong butter taste and a nice herby-garlic bite. The Woodys special sauce had a bit of a BBQ sauce taste, but its clear that they put extra stuff in there. My favorite part about the Woodys sauce is the char on them. I also had the chicken sandwich. It was super crispy! The sandwich had toasted brioche buns, which added a lot to the texture. The fries are alright, they were the only thing that wasnt perfect. The flavor was there, as always, but they werent very crispy. Overall, 9/10 experience. Will be coming back soon! Vegetarian options: There are salads and a Mac and cheese dish, along with some appetizers without meat. This place doesnt seem particularly geared for vegetarians, but you could definitely enjoy the selections they have. Kid-friendliness: It is a bit loud, but the food is great for any age.

We had a waitress name Britney and she was fabulous, she came over, but not too many times to make sure we were OK. She made sure that my burger did not have pickles on the plate or anything just the cheese on my burger and that my fries were crispy. The chef made my burger great medium well , just the way I requested. My husband s chicken sandwich was just as good and the place was clean and everything was great. The thing that made my husband the happiest was that they had Pabst Blue Ribbon on tap. Great sports bar with people that get to know you. A go to for the area and good food. 10/30/2021 New Owners investing in the bar to make it better. Great neighborhood bar with friendly people. Come watch games on the large screens and have good food and beverages! 03/09/2023 Owners are not fixing broken toilets in Womens Restroom and changed the menu and the food is not as good as it used to be and some of the best menu items have been removed. Competition has gotten much more on this side of town for good bars to go to. They need to step it up on food quality and selections. 09/07/2023 Menu has not been improved. I wont even eat here any longer. They do not know who their regular customers are. All the good food on the menu has been taken off. Only thing left is Woodys wings. Sad.

Walked in and place was about 1/3 full. Bartender/waitress not the friendliest person. We ordered food and after 45 minutes and not seeing any food coming out of the kitchen except for an order of fries, I knew we weren t getting anything soon. Verified my feeling with the bartender/waitress that kitchen was backed up. Thought it was funny that they shuffled a pitcher of beer back to the kitchen but don t have time to cook our food. Don t think they have the right frame of mind to run this type of business. I have a feeling this is another one of those businesses run by someone who thought this was a good idea but didn t have any experience in this type of business. No manager ever visited our table to apologize. I would avoid this place until they have made some major changes in leadership.

Came here thinking this would be good to watch the fight and other than the fight the service the food and the water was absolutely HORRIBLE . Worst experience I have ever had. The food took over an hour to come out and when it did it was awful. The wings tasted like they were microwaved. The water and soda taste stale. We were here once per week before the pandemic and it was a go to spot for football games and other sports. We have tried again multiple times since change of ownership/management, new menus and redesign of the restaurant. Positives: The new look finally came together (July 2023). It was lacking the past year or so. Finally have enough TVs and Pool Tables. Feels a bit more upscale than what it has been in the past. Used to be a bit of a dive, but that had charm too. Negatives: I d say these far outweighed the positives unfortunately. - Menu - Definitely lacking things that should be a staple at a sports bar. Chips/Salsa/Queso is expected, it s Texas. Also no Mozzetta sticks, cheese curds, fried pickles - a bit strange. $7 for an order of fries (listed as an appetizer?) that were sub par is also strange. I get inflation, but wow that s way out of the range. Pricing in general was a bit high for what you d expect (and compared to local places) with something s being quite a bit more than standard. - Our food took nearly an hour to arrive after we ordered after we were told multiple times it was ready and they just needed to bring it out. Wasn t very busy in the dining area and we heard other tables saying the same thing. For what we ordered and how busy it was I was shocked it wasn t out in 15 minutes. - When the food came out, fries were bland and a bit undercooked and burger patty wasn t cooked evenly all the way through. The boneless wings were quite small in size, half had no sauce, and the ones that did had the smallest amount of sauce I ve ever seen. Could have gotten Chick-fil-A nuggets for a fraction of the price down the road (would have been bigger and better tasting too). The wings also had a strange taste/smell (fishy almost?) that was a red flag and I stopped eating. Lost my appetite for the remainder of the evening even though I was - Service was all over the place, sometimes attentive and sometimes missing for long periods. Once we got our food and had concerns, didn t see them again until we had enough and just wanted to pay and leave. - Had to correct an overcharge initially on the bill, but I get those things happen. Just wanted to make sure it s noted. Overall - Left super disappointed after we were excited to hear about the new menu being launched this week. There s multiple options (some new) right down the road that have better food (pricing, menu, taste and quality) and service such as Brass Tap and GOATs (also a bit pricey but much better) - Wing Daddy s and Jake s Gameday also very good options. Nice job on the redesigned restaurant interior, but I m shocked at how poor the rest of the experience was. I know a launching a new menu isn t the easiest, but this is not how to do it. Not really a food review writer, but had to share this experience.

They have one of the best signature chicken wings and its a must try dish. I loved the smoked chicken wings. Service and the quality of restaurant is awesome. Its a sports bar and they are introducing new promos and offers. Tried blue lagoon and pineapple mocktail drink. Its awesome. I really recommend this place for everyone to try and experience. Woodys recently changed from Woodys Restaurant and Sports Bar to Woodys Kitchen and Bar, a sctatch kitchen. We didnt go frequently in the past but would try to support occassionally. Well, the menu has no new items just fewer items, that said however, the food quality declined. Which doesnt make sense being it is now promoted as a scratch kitchen. Sad to see, I wish Woodys ownership and staff well, I hope things get better, but probably wont be back.

A good dinner of hot wings, fries and a side of mashed potatoes. Service was excellent too. All food was served hot, NOT from under the heat lamp. Thank you. Very tasty as well. Soft drink refills were aplenty. The college football games were on a majority of the TVs, I didnt miss a score at all. I wandered in with two friends on a Friday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible ambience. The restaurant was filling up quickly (it was almost 9:00 pm) but we managed to snag a table. I loved wings, Absolutely delicious great place to hangout with friends

I dont know how my weekend just flew by when we had a group of 30 people huddle at Woodys Sports restaurant to watch the NFL Sunday game. Awesome food and chilled beers. The staff is awesome and a great place. Watching game on Big Screens and Big Screaming for every touchdown. What else do we need?

Gem of a place if you are looking to spend time watching sports . This place is a hidden place in between a very very busy intersection. This place contains screens which are the largest in the neighbourhood. They have 4 huge screens with projectors and many TVs. Their patio is also a great place to hangout with friends or your pets during a nice evening . Dont be surprised with their food. Their wings are very juicy and bigger compared to other wings restaurants. I tried their Jalepeno tooth picks and they were so much fun to eat. I love their woodys wings and ensure I always have them when I visit. When you are hungry you should try their sandwich, its so filling.

After 8 years of going here as our local, it is clear that the owners simply don t care about their staff and customers. Nicole and her servers work hard, always smiling, always remember what we order. The kitchen outa out food as quick as they can with good quality. Lately, after covid, it s got worse as th i m pretty sure the owners pulled back staff but the burden on the manager. The other guy that works there behind the bar is useless. They should just give the bar to Nicole!

Weve been twice now and always leave satisfied. The first time in we had the burgers which were very good, especially on the pretzel bun. On our second visit in we took advantage of their Monday fajita plate deal and they were excellent! We both opted for steak (they also have chicken and shrimp) and it was great; some of the best fajitas weve had in a while! The bartenders have been friendly and personable both times. Beer prices, especially during happy hour, are very reasonable. Well definitely be back. *EDIT* We went back to watch the Cowboys game and the Monday special is now buy one burger get one 50% off, which we did. Once again, the burgers were great, especially that pretzel bun! Thank you, well keep returning, nice local bar to have nearby. The bartender & waitress were both very friendly.
