During my stay at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel for the Trees & Utility Conference, I had breakfast at the Cast Iron on two consecutive mornings. The buffet selection was impressive, but the standout was the omelet station. The cook did a fantastic job preparing my omelet exactly to my liking each morning, adding a personal touch with his friendly demeanor. The staff, in general, was very attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The quality of the food was excellent, making each mornings meal a delightful start to the day. I highly recommend the Cast Iron for a satisfying breakfast!

My friend and I were looking for a place to have dinner and we decided to try cast-iron, which was new to both of us. when we entered. They were very very kind, and nice and promptly sat us at a beautiful table and we were served immediately. We ordered our food which came up quickly and enjoyed every minute of what I ordered a salad and my friend ordered salmon with greens and mashed potatoes. We both had a coffee at the end of our meal with our tiramisu with ice cream, and it was fabulous as well. We were really surprised at this jewel in the Omni hotel.

I wish I can leave this place no stars. I ordered the vegan burger whatever it is I dont even remember what product. I asked for it to be plain and if they could put avocado on it. It came with sauce. I asked for a plane fries and the fries are seasoned. This might be great for others but I unfortunately have condition and cannot have spices and Seasonings especially a seasoning on the fries that has citric acid. And I am unable to return it at the moment to get my refund. Hopefully I can do that tomorrow. Because today they close at 5:00 and Im working and Im staying at the hotel and working across the street. Fort Worth has been excellent this is my only pleasant experience.

Pizza was good. Fries tasted like theyd been sitting under a heat lamp all day. They were very dry and tough. Place was packed with money. Great atmosphere though! Felt like the waitress was rushing me to order food. Stood there waiting over me to order and had just given me a menu. Asked for water 3 times and none was served but when my husband asked she brought some . Place is pretty pricey too.

Avoid at all costs. They will put cheese on your plain burger and scrape it off when they realize they made a mistake but still serve it to you... Absolutely disgusting. Thank God my kids dont have a dairy allergy. They deducted the cost of the contaminated meal, but the right thing to do would have been a full refund. Very poor.

We took a chance on the broadly advertised Thanksgiving Buffet. 1st, they have everything to learn about traditional Southern US Thanksgiving necessities. The food was mediocre at best. We were seated, at table 3, and had to walk at least 100 yards (one way) to browse a disorganized mix of foods. The head chef has no clue of seasoning for a very Southern audience! 100 yards back to table 3 and after a couple of tastes we said, Why didn t we go back to Gaylord Texas for our thanksgiving feast (they know what they are doing)! We, as well as all others, had to pay in advance for SERVICES AND QUALITY NOT RENDERED. For a 25% built in gratuity we had to ask for water, no one cleared used plates from table .. No other conveniences were offered. Was table 3 just a fluke? We don t think so!! Totally insulted by such poor service and food. No way we could recommend your product!

Breakfast was a big disappointment. The salmon bagel looked like the salmon had been zombified. My husband is not one to complain about food and he said it was inedible. The cappuccino was served in a normal thin/tall coffee mug. It tasted like coffee with some foam on top. The water cup was so sweaty after not long of sitting on the table, when I picked it up it just slipped right out of my hands and water went everywhere. For what they charge, we really regretted going there.

Fantastic service & food. We ate breakfast there and the selection was great and perfectly prepared. We had Valentines dinner there and it was out of this world. The chef was a miracle-worker and made an asparagus cappuccino that was absolutely fabulous (I hate asparagus and I LOVED it.). The seafood boullabaise was one of the best dishes I have ever had and the cheesecake was perfect. Miss Evelyn was the best waitress I have encountered in a long time. Shes also a great bartender in the Omni lobby. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I made reservations for Cast Iron for Thanksgiving; I thought it would be a smaller scale, restaurant-like meal... what a shocker when we were taken upstairs to the event space for a thanksgiving buffet. The food was as good as could be given the format, there were dozens of tables throughout the space; there were lots of options for salads, carving station meats, sides, and desserts but you definitely lose quality when it s mass produced. If you want a lot of food, this is a good option.

14 people get together to celebrate someone s birthday. $50/head bought us: 45 min wait time, cold shrimp, $25 for 3.5 oz of skirt steak that was overcooked, flavorless and cold, chicken fried steak that had a deceiving outtershell of batter but then you cut into another tough over cooked piece of meet. (People picked off the fried shell and left the beef). There was obviously zero points of inspection and control from management. I can t beleieve the food made it to our table in that state. The pictures of food they ve posted are comical. Your plate will look nothing like those images. There were at least 4 people including managers loitering at the hostess stand while we endured that level of service. Then to top it all off the table orders cobbler for the birthday boy and table ... the waitress shows up to say they are out of vanilla we say chocolate is fine, then she never returns again. We wait and wait and ask and ask and no one ever brought the dessert. All management had to say was we are so sorry . We are so sad we chose this place to have our celebration. They left quite a stain on the event and we will never return. Omni, I take it your hotel as a whole is run and operated like your restaurants? I won t be taking that risk!

My wife and I went for Thanksgiving dinner, we have done several holidays here in years prior. I specified my food allergies (nuts) on my reservation but still reiterated to the waiter, which he did a mediocre job at following through on. I enjoyed my local craft beer they had on draft, my wife had a stale Rose, the bottle had obviously been opened days previously. First course was good, my wife had the apple chestnut soup, they did withhold the nuts from my salad as I had requested. Main course was decent for my wife who had the braised short rib, since it was Thanksgiving I went with the turkey, it was served room temperature, it was cooked properly and was moist but it had no flavor at all, no gravy or anything else to top it with, the small portion of stuffing wrapped with sausage was okay and 3 asparagus spears and tablespoon of cranberry sauce were decent. I took the turkey home to put gravy on. My dessert as I specified earlier had to be sent back due to allergens; my wife had the apple cobbler in a cold hot skillet. I pointed this out before he brought me the same out as a replacement; I got a warm skillet. I can honestly say I would have been just as happy with Boston Market thanksgiving dinner for a fraction of the price. We are not ones to complain much especially when at the place, not looking for handouts. I am sorry I talked my wife out of going to Eddie V s for Thanksgiving dinner, I know the service and standards there are much better. I can not see myself going here for a meal in the future, especially not for the price point.

Decor is amazing. Unfortunately the food sucked. Deviled egg appetizers, BLAND AS CAN BE. Ive had better from the WalMart deli. Wife had the Brisket Wrap HORRIBLE! Youd think if you ordered a brisket sandwich in Fort Worth Texas it wouldnt suck, she left 3/4 of it on the plate. Ihad the Southern Club & Sweet Potato waffle fries. Waffle fries were overlooked and cold. Sandwich was HORRIBLE, bread was stale, ovacado was mashed, bacon was cold & stiff. Pulled the sliced deli turkey out and ate it because I was starving. BIG MISTAKE, disentary followed. Waiter brought the bill halfway through the meal and came back and insisted I sign it and before I got my signature done he was pulling it out of my hand. Just a horrible dining experience. Id give it a negative if it was available. Our first time at the Omni and we will re-evaluate ever coming back.

For those of you complaining about the price might I suggest you dont visit establishments that are above your station. This is the Omni and standards must be maintained.
