Elegant and Beautiful!! I used the Ballroom for my graduation celebration and everyone absolutely LOVED the ombience and decor! Very friendly staff, answered all of my questions allowed us to visit the venue countless times for planning and visions. Thinking of whats next to celebrate

I initially booked this venue because at our appointment we discussed, it was all inclusive. I mentioned that I needed a venue to take care of all the minor details and that night I just wanted to cater to my guests and host a party. The promise was made and contract signed. I unfortunately had to reschedule my event due to covid and many family loss. We paid the venue off in full and it was definitely pricey I didnt mind it because of the simple fact that they said theyd take care of everything. Fast forward to a couple months before event, i was asked to come in and bring my contract. It appeared that mine was lost. Thwy just didnt afmit it, however i keep all my receipts, pictures, and paperwork for these reasons. Then, I felt like I was not listened to, the plan we made could have been lost for all I know cus we never saw that again. In fact, I was asked again- what did we say would go here, what did we agree for this? I even asked, should i make signs for that day so the vendors would know where to go? (Because i witnessed a banquet- at hwr venue, where the vendors would come and ask her, where would they like us to set up, her response was that she didnt know). To me, that was embarrassing to say the least, but even then, she told me no, i have the plan written down. Well guess what, my vendors never saw the owner that day. Heck i didnt even see the owner that day. Many details were not done according to my discussion with the owner, so i pulled in her receptionist that was there and needless to say, she looked really annoyed. Im so glad I arrived early to my event, something told me to. Literally details discussed day prior were not done, I think they thought Id look passed it. Well no, for so much money, I was not. I hate that on the most important day, I had to be behind waitresses, owners, receptionist, etc. I had to ask for them to bring out coffee, serve the cake, how to serve the food. All those details that i had already discussed with the owner many many times, in front of my sister and husband so there would not be any miscommunication. The main waitress I would speak to said she was never told anything. So Id direct her to call her boss cus we had discussed it. I was told she would have coffee served during cake time and I had to ask for it, the waitress said she wasnt told to do that, I kindly asked her to call her boss, they brought out 1 medium sized pot, and about 12 mugs for a packed house. Embarrassing to tell my guests that we had coffee cus there was not enough. I will say the male owner, was on it. He was getting things done for me too and seemed annoyed that many things that were promised, werent delivered. He, many times, said to me, that theyre here to serve maam (in spanish) and he seemed to want to make things right. I appreciate that. The venue was brought to life, I wont lie but it was the minor details for me and huge lack of communication to the staff and even with me. I was never asked at any time of the night, if I needed anything else or how was it going. I was the one after waitresses, the receptionist or anyone that I could catch that worked there. I asked for a VIP area for the teenage guests and she tried many times to say that kids dont sit anyways, The fact was, we needed more seating, I had to ask for more chairs to be brought out. The staff, with the exception of the man, seemed so annoyed by me, this was a night of a huge milestone and I was not going to let it fall a part for lack of services. I paid for services and I expected them to be done. They could be upset with the owner for not communicating with them what needed to be done and not with me. All in all, I gave them 3 stars because the venue overall, looked beautiful, but the lack of communication and service was one I wouldnt wish on anyone. I hired this place to take away some of my stress for that night and instead I had to pull it together and complete the finishing touches. The bartender was so sweet. I was approached by one of my guests who will be getting married, about venue. I was honest.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars.DONT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE! I ve been trying to correspond with someone for months no one ever answers the phone. We went in and loved the venue and wanted to start making payments for our wedding we sent a deposit of 1,000 per the required amount and every time I call no answer? At this point I want my money back! I want a refund because to give that amount of money with no further correspondence seems kind of strange.

Poorly kept, and attended. Dirty, tacky, the staff doesn t seem to want to be there. Wi-Fi is pretty much nonexistent Bluetooth is sketchy. Decor is dirty, faded and about 25 years outdated. Wiring looks shoddy floors are terrible and customer service sucks. AND they are overpriced!

When it comes to all-in-one value, The Gardens Houston scores high on the list. I selected this location for my wedding because I wanted a space where family and friends could enjoy the ceremony and quickly get to the reception without the Houston traffic hassle. I appreciate the various ballrooms available depending on the size of your event. Theres also a wide selection of table linen fabrics and colors. The chapel and ballroom were setup beautifully. The decorations are on the slim side, so we had to bring a few things to add some pizzazz (not too much). The dressing area for the bride and groom doesnt have a lot of bells and whistles, but that wasnt high on our list. The dinner was served hot and the waiters operated our open bar. Unfortunately, our celebration bottle of champagne was served to the guests (a minor hiccup). Overall, I would rent this space again for an event.

The venue is decorated nice, but the service and the food is terrible. The space actually needs to be updated. Guests were getting their heels caught in the damaged dance floor and the walkway down the hall is a hazard for everybody. The kitchen is NOT a kitchen. They dont even cook food in there, the food looked and tasted like it was microwaved. No flavor. No color. Nothing about it was appetizing. Dont be fooled by the display food that they put out when booking the venue. It does NOT look like that on your event! DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT miss your food tasting appointment. The manager forgot about our appointment and we did not have one. The manager was NOT on site for my event. I had to try to communicate with staff everything that the manager and I already had in place. I was the coordinator for my party because she was not there. The chapel was not set up for me...I could go on and on. My issues were not even addressed once the party was over. For the money, I expected much better. I would never book again and will encourage others not to either.

The Gardens Houston is a large beautiful venue that can cater to multiple parties. Their lobby inside is a common lobby to 3 or 4 different venue rooms. Very spacious as well. Their parking lot is spacious and it will get full fast.

I attended a Quinceanera. It had beautiful decorations. The service was okay. The dinnerware was picked up early. There were not plates for the cake. They did not have glasses of water at the tables. I was at an event this Saturday, July 10, at Chapel and everything super nice!! Well cared for details, the attention we received was excellent, the food delicious, the desserts incredible, the waiters super attentive, the DJ very good and the event coordinator super good!! We asked for a quote and their event planner Bluue Soiree helped us and we agreed to make an appointment to book. Congratulations, an excellent place, highly recommended.

The space, the food, the dance floor was so congested that if you dance you end up hitting a person sitting down. The service was awful. My dude and a friends did had to go get drinks and pitches of tea and powdered lemonade to the table all night. We got served but the chicken was so dry and that was the only option. They out gravy over it to try to moisten it but it did not help. The 15 was amazing but the DJ a isnt try to even try to put on a song I had requested because he was to busy. Talk about bad dj skills. I just wanted 1 song for or the ladies but nope. This is as place we go when youre on a tight budget and have to deal with no AC at all!

We celebrated my dads 70th birthday at The Gardens Houston. They went above and beyond to make his surprise birthday party perfect. Carmen worked with me through out all the planning and celebration dinner. Carmen and her team did a great job in preparing and setting up the room to perfection. They have a huge selection on tables clothes and center pieces to choose from. The room looked beautiful and elegant. I was so satisfied, that I recommended my in-laws in celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this month here. I am so excited for their wedding anniversary dinner because it is going to be beautiful and an unforgettable memory for my in-laws and guests, as it was for my dad and all the family and friends that came for his surprise birthday party. A month ago our in laws rented one of the halls here at the Gardens for their 52nd Anniversary and everything looked beautiful. Our family and I would like to thank Miguel and Ruben for always being on point throughout the event and for going above and beyond from the moment it was booked till the end of the night of the event. So on April 19th which is the memorial of Jesus death is when Jehovahs witness commemorate jesuss death but at the place it looked very beautiful like I really like the colors of everything and stuff but like the floor was all crackity rickety and messed up and then the chairs are wobbly and some of them are broken and has splinters coming out of them in the paint was all messed up and also the vent was so loud we couldnt even hear the brother that was giving the talk about Jesus but overall it was pretty good I really like my memorials but this place wasnt really you know good looking.

No management on site to control other loud, out of control groups. No toilet paper in ladies room. We saw a roach under the table. The hanging chiffon decor was dirty and ragged. This place needs an overhaul. Half of the sinks in the bathroom are broken and dont have a faucet.

This place is gross. There are cockroaches running under our tables. There is another event happening in another room and the ladies rooms are out of toilet paper. There is no site manager on premises so getting toilet paper is going to be a personal errand. The other events children are running up down the hallway screaming and can be heard in our room. There is a group of men hanging out in the backhallway drinking and making people uncomfortable while walking to the other bathroom. Gross.
