Nice family type park with a kids playground in a quiet neighborhood off Craig Street bordered by Loop 820 and houses on 3 sides. There is plenty of parking in the lot and on Haynie Street. It has a community center on site also. There are two pavilions (old and new area) and two play areas along with several benches and some table/grill areas. There is also a football field and a baseball field near it. Lots of area to spread a blanket out for a picnic. There are usually just a few people there so its not too crowded except for holidays. Its a good place to go with the family to enjoy.

Its a small but peaceful park,but the true gem is the attached community center & their staff. They plan many events for the community and have an after-school program, a senior program, sports teams, a gym and much more. I visit often and its always quite enjoyable

Used to be a nice park. Now it looks like a homeless camp that also doubles as a junkie hangout. Also looks to have been clean and mowed about a decade ago. If you go there be ready to stare at a dump not a park and I mean literally!
