Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Ive been coming here everyday for lunch, curbside pickup as I only have a 30 minute lunch window. Today they brought out a biscuit and hot coffee instead of my order, I had to wait almost my whole 30 minute break for them to correct it, and all I got in response was sorry about that. I wouldve appreciated a refund or a replacement offer but all I got was sorry.

The manager on duty today 7/31/24 at 1100 AM deserves a raise or promotion. I ordered online but stupidly made the order for the future at 1100 PM. I went in to pick up my order at 1100 AM which is when I thought it was ready. This was 100 percent my mistake I offered to cancel the order because it had all breakfast items and they were finished making breakfast at 1100 AM then the manager offered to make the order for me so I accepted her offer. I wish I got her name as she went truly above and beyond and I thank you very much. My breakfast was delicious!

Ive been here twice in the past few weeks and they just cant get special orders (something Whataburger encourages) right. And it isnt anything crazy, just no pickles. They have to remake it because you cant remove the pickle juice that ends up staying on the food. Once remade, the food is fine. Plus no one lets the counter person know someone is at the register. Part of the problem is the design of the restaurant that blocks the view of the kitchen but also the view of the counter for the employees. But once they see you, they should notify someone. But they dont. Even the manager on duty doesnt seem to bother getting an employee up front.

Eh. Its a hit or miss, but mornings seem much better than nights as most food places. When I order here past 7pm, theres ALWAYS at least a 20-minute wait. No apology. Nothing. This Whataburger is always super busy. That DOES NOT stop them from getting your food fast, fresh, and tasty. I have never walked in without someone acknowledging me and taking my order in a timely manner. The employees are always professional and personable. My orders are always correct. Soda is always good Tea is always fresh. Interior is clean. Bathrooms are clean and stocked. Temperature is always comfortable . Not freezing to get you to eat and scram like some others. Music is not overly loud or offensive This Whataburger has had different managers over time and the experience stays the same. Good job Thank you for another great meal experience

I placed my order for curb side delivery, but after notifying the restaurant of my arrival and waiting 10 minutes in my truck, I went to the counter and asked about my order. The restaurant was very busy with a long line in the drive thru, multiple people waiting for their order, and better than half their seating area filled. It turned out my order had been lost in the shuffle by the staff. Accidents happen, but how a staff responds to such an accident makes a big difference. Once I notified them of it and they verified it they did a great job of squeezing my order into the ones being worked. I received my order fresh hot selections with an additional Apple Cranberry Chicken salad and 2 apple pies that Ive frequently ordered in the past on the house. The steakhouse burger I ordered to try was even better than imagined and the salad provided a dinner later that day. I like the staff there because they almost always deliver orders with a smile at the counter, the drive thru, and at the curb delivery. That means a lot!

Man, talk about this kids doing the bare minimum. Even that is a stretch. Ordered a curbside order, it wasn t till I got home I realized part of my order wasn t in the bag. Not a huge deal, I get it mornings can get hectic I m sure. Got back to the store and went inside, stood there with employees just walking by staring at me standing at the counter like they d never seen a customer before. Two young kids, one which I saw the name tag Anthony just stared at me not saying one word while punching out or doing something at the register and the other kid the same. I mean, I get taking a break/clocking out etc. but come on now. You are literally staring at a person in the face and walk away without asking if they need anything? I had to wait almost 15 minutes for my food after it was said to be ready. There was no one inside and I still had a long wait time. I ordered it online. After waiting that long and bringing the food home, which was across the road, the meat was just throw back on the grill to reheat it up. And there was just a tiny bit of grilled onions on my patty melt, which was disappointing. Ive worked at Whataburger, for two years. I know what a reheated patty looks like. This is sad, Ive grown tired of Whataburger. Doing another review on top of the one I already did, just order from here again because I figured Id give them another chance and once again they have disappointed me. It was 20 minutes later after my food said that it was ready that they gave it to me. I received my order and the receipt itself was black towards the top which means that it was sitting inside the warmer for a decent period of time. That means that it was ready well before I got there and even my cinnamon roll was sitting inside the fry station warming area. There were two other people that were waiting there longer than I was and the bags were just packed and sitting on top of the counter too. Yall need to fix how you service your customers because this is not how its supposed to be, Ive worked at Whataburger before and was there for almost 3 years so I know how Whataburger is supposed to be. Needless to say I will be reaching one of the managers up there to discuss this and how disappointed I am with the service and the way things have been done. I know to some it might not seem like much but its frustrating when I order ahead of time and I dont get my food until 40 minutes later, because from the point of order to the point of grabbing and coming home its about 40 minutes for me.

Dont order from the Whataburger App because if your food is delivered to the wrong address Whataburger refuses to remake your food even if you will go pick it up and they refuse to refund it also. This is not the first time this has happened to me. The first time I ordered an order over $55 and received a $12 in the place of mine. This time I didnt even receive an order because it was delivered to a different address. The delivery person admitted she made the mistake.

This whataBurger is located right up the highway. Its got a convenient location as well as great customer service. I highly recommend this whataburger above other ones. I biked here on my way home. And they were very nice to let me bring my bike inside. Although I wouldnt recommend it I just was tired from a long Workout, but they have great manager and great employees. So I said its a great place to stop if youre looking for good whataBurger meal.

The reason there is a second star in this review is due to the polite manager who had took my order at the counter @750pm. I had ordered my normal Sweet and Spicy on Texas Toast with jalapeños; Large. The order was to go and handed to me by a gentleman who had the bag crumbled in his fist: I asked for spicy ketchup and when he opened the unpresentable bag there were napkins carelessly in disorder exposed. That was experience there should have been the sign that it wasn t going to get any better. As normal I had ate the French fries on the road; they were cool to the touch, and once I got to my destination the most dissatisfying part was to reveal itself: The burger wasn t in Texas Toast. I ate it all even while feeling disappointed.

Man, I hate this whatsburger I do not know why I keep giving them a chance. The food is great when they get the order right. The problem is that if they get more than 6 cars in drive thru and more than 4 orders inside the kitchen absolutely falls apart and managers stand around apologizing instead of leading their team to operate a business. It s pretty safe to say that the managers are locked into dead end jobs since they do not know how to run the production of a company, they clearly will not be able to be effective leaders or have a business of their own. Keep up the great work with the spicy ketchup though ;)

First time trying Jalapeño sausage egg and cheese biscuit. It was good. Typically dont eat breakfast early early in the morning (630am) or at fast food places but I treated myself this day. It was good and I love their hashbrowns as usual. Service was real quick this morning. I dont know if that was because breakfast is faster to make (as I mentioned I dont typically do fast food breakfast...literally maybe 3-4 times a year) or they were just hustling this day, but there were 5 cars ahead of me. It didnt take much time at all. I was well pleased considering my dealings during lunch or dinner time with whataburger typically leave me in the drive thru wishing theyd hurry up!!! The lady at the drive thru that took my money was nice. Thats a plus. No one likes a stick in the mud cranky fast food worker.

I found a long black hair in my number 1 combo, I have short brown hair and my mother has long blonde hair. I tried calling the site multiple times and got no answer and when I went up to the store I walk in and nobody has a hair net on everyone is everywhere and at this point my family has lost their appetite and I even showed up with the food I ordered while the supposedly manager tells me that there isnt anything she can do. She refused to give me her name and GM name she didnt care about the hair in my food didnt care about what we had to say and finally walked away mid conversation and walked in the back. This is honestly so sick and nasty I wouldnt recommend here if you want good service or food. Kid-friendliness: Dont know why the manger was so rude when were the ones who had the problem.

For a fast food joint they were very slow at being the food out. 30 min for food that isn t fresh is not reasonable. They were out of a lot of condiments as well. If it were late at night I d understand; however it was not even near midnight. Everyone s just walking around with a slow pace no sense of urgency to fill orders. Team needs some type of motivation.

I really don t like complaining but this place is getting a mess. I eat here maybe 2/3 times a week because of the distance but service is horrible. Daytime I can say is okay but some reason after 4 pm service is trash from cashier to management. You hear employees cursing. You don t get greet u get passed by 3/4 employees before one addresses you. I try to order online to get my food faster but it still is late and not even correct and I just feel it would take longer to receive it if I asked for for it to be remade. When management sagging worse than employees doesn t make it a good look. Sorry for the complaint but it sucks how this generation is with service

Food here was really good from burgers to fries, only thing I have to say is the tables were dirty and we had to clean our table, Id figure they be on top that since the time we were there it wasnt busy.

I pulled up after a long flight at 12:40am. It was roughly 10mins before I hit the window. They were busy. I was asked to pull into the front of the store and wait. I spent 35mins waiting for my food. I asked the guy about 20 mins in where my food was. He said I should have had it. Turned out the other guy gave my food to someone else. It was very disorganized. Spending an hour waiting for food is just ridiculous. Food was good. Service a solid -10. Wont be going to this location again.

I would defend this Whataburger and blame the hour and 1/2 wait for the food on the Metallica spill out crowd but it was determined that our order was completely left out. So it was just way more slower then it usually is no matter which Wait-A-Burger location I go to without fail. They did apologize.
