Great atmosphere, good drinks, and yummy variety of choices. We were there for a show and had a VIP table. We were permitted a pre-show meet and greet, which was awesome. Our vip table had a good view and included some champagne on ice w/ glasses. The bathroom was clean with correct amenities such as toilet paper, hot water, soap, and paper towels. The outside area for getting air, smoking, intermission, mingling, had good lighting, a neighbor bar, and a food truck with yummy and affordable prices.

Small hot venue with minimal airflow and management has the balls to tell the bartenders inside that they re not allowed to give out water. Straight up just left after being told I d either have to buy a liquid death or chew ice

Good spot. Decent amount of space, good patio, good sound. My only beef is the $10+ well drinks, but it was a concert, so the bathroom sink only had one working faucet as well. Decent bathrooms tho

Didnt care for the place. Loved the band we came to see and the acoustics were great! Drinks were overpriced including beer. I got it. You need to make a little money. No tables, chairs, or any place to sit. We stayed only long enough to hear the band play their set and we left. We stood for over 2 hours straight. Owner/manager is very confrontational! We were asking one of the staff member questions about the venue when we arrived since it was our first time there. The owner/manager came to the door asking us if there was a problem in a very aggressive tone. We are a small group of retired folks who love to listen to great music. We wont be listening to music at Tulips again.

Nice staff, good drinks, good parking in the area, and near good eats. Wouldnt just give me tap water when I asked for water? Offered me a can of Liquid Death. I had a tab open already, I was a paying customer. Idk if they were going to charge me for it or if they thought I wanted bottled water. Kind of a weird exchange but was probably just a misunderstanding. If you just want tap, you need to say tap. I didnt stick around to ask bc my group was leaving. Still, good venue.

Had a great time here. There isnt seating unless you make reservation and pay in advance. Also, the seating is near the back so if youre wanting to be close to the band I would forego the seating.

Bit of a weird experience. Good if you like concerts and crowded places. I got a bit claustrophobic after seeing how packed the place got. Other than that the vibes were good. Not exactly a place Id go again without a reason. I prefer hole in the wall places, and this place can have a line down the block.

This venue is small but mighty! Theres limited tables so arrive early if you want one. Staff was great dealing with some impatient customers while navigating some sound check issues that delayed doors opening. Looking forward to going back for another concert!

Had a great time seeing Wicca Phase Springs Eternal this past weekend. Would definitely recommend seeing a show here! Great sound and easy to get a nice view of the stage. One thing to note is that there is no free tap water. Also, be warned, there is a strict bag policy. Other than that, great experience and atmosphere. The inside of the bar had an excellent vibe. I d like to return some day!

Decent venue, but be warned they tend to over charge at the bar. I bought a liquid death ($4) and a can of lone star. The next day when I checked my bank statements I noticed they charged me a total of $25. Which is weird since I tipped in cash, so how could a can of beer be almost $20!?? Very strange..

ZERO STARS. Staff was immediately rude as soon as we walked in the door. I am 27 years old & the little girl with the attitude at the front door tells me that my license is fake after she barely looked at it. Maybe you should train your employees on what a real ID looks like since she obviously has no clue. Maybe hire some decent employees that are actually nice & welcoming & know how to properly check an ID rather than un-educated ones with a nasty ugly attitude. The girls up front were purposely choosing who they didnt want to let in just to be rude & trying to start an argument for no reason other than the fact they have nothing else going for them in their lives other than working at a dumpy bar with the other low life sleazy bums that work there so they need something to fullfill their empty lives ... yikes. I am 27 why would I even need a fake ID? Should probably hire someone to clean as well. Every toilet in the womens bathroom was clogged. Real classy place guys. Band playing was fantastic Ill be sure to reach out to touring managers telling them all about this dump & their atrocious staff.

Tulips is an awesome venue and I m pleasantly surprised. Usually small bar venues can be iffy but not this one. It has a side bar open before show doors with cool bathrooms with a dark aesthetic, a knowledgeable bar tender, and a pool table. The main part of the venue is small but it manages. They make guests comfy.

I was really hoping to love this place...I didnt. The bartenders skip right over the people in line to serve all the people that walk up on the side that are louder and wave money. Even after you ask politely if you can be next since you are waiting your turn. Instead the bartenders choose to argue that the others were there before you even though they walked in the bar after you did...I mean if thats the vibe your going for then you nailed it. It happen 3 times to me and the guys in front of me made a huge deal about it only to get reprimanded by the bartender as well. I asked if he could see me because surely you wouldnt look right at me then turn away....I thought I was a ghost or something. I was really hoping to enjoy the old fashions, they were trash. Probably because the bartender pissed me off constantly. But also because they taste like detergent. I was really hoping to enjoy this place as a live music venue..I didnt. It was shoulder to shoulder nut to butt from the stage to the back window and wall to wall. Glad the fire Marshal didnt walk in. Had to be over capacity by 100. It reminded me of a college town trash bar filled with 30 something year old frat guys and girls who loud talk through the entire show from all over the venue. It was an uncomfortable space all the way around and smelled like a toilet had backed up earlier. It sounds like Im dog piling but it smelled. We didnt even stay for the whole show. Not going back. Good luck though

What an absolutely wonderful night!! We saw Malinda supported by 76th Street. Both incredible acts with great energy; The venue was great. Intimate but not cramped drinks were great and really well priced. **Cannot say enough how much I appreciated the gender-neutral and wheelchair accessible restroom!!!** Seriously, it is super hard to find an accessible restroom in a bar. Super welcoming place where everyone can vibe and be themselves! TULIPS, you have my heart! Ill never forget this show!

Cool venue. Pretty small but its separated by the bar area which is kind of cool. The bathrooms were clean. The venue was well ventilated. No one checked me for security so that sucked but the employees were nice. Sound systems were great too. They also had an outdoor area to sit but not to watch the show. The walls were painted nicely with cool art. And the parking was all off street. I didnt see anyone selling parking.

We really enjoyed the tribute for George this evening. Great music. We enjoy Tulips, however it was very very hot inside. To add to this uncomfortable temperature inside the only option for water is extremely expensive canned water from the Alps... But I do draw the line at Drag Queen shows meant to expose young children to things regardless of who or what is NOT for them. Tulips FTW books a weekly show to promote exactly that, and that to me is crossing the line. Wouldnt spend a dime to watch ANY show they had after that.

This venue is so amazing in many ways. The concerts are intimate and feel so personal. It gives the bands the ability to fully interact with their crowds. Also the staff of the actual venue have hearts of gold. I unexpectedly had surgery after purchasing my concert tickets and was self conscious and worried about being in a wheel chair at a concert but they went above and beyond. The staff found a safe place for me to enjoy the show and actually be able to see it! I wish I could give more stars. Will definitely come back! If you have a disability, just know they will do their best to accommodate you!

I posted on my personal page about a horrible experience that i had there and the staff harassed me about it. The owner was one with it and said he was glad his employees were taking up for him and the venue. Then wanted me to call him so we can talk it out but he wasn t going to put it on social media. Your apology needs to be just as loud as the disrespect. Let s not mention the plans for events that they stole from myself and other artists around the area that worked with them.
